I have to work with XXXX XXXX, the most unprofessional and awful human being I've witnessed in years, when I work with CBS, the collection agency. Due to a layoff, I had a debt go to collections years ago and have paid this debt monthly without issue. Now that XXXX XXXX has taken over the communication for my account, it has only gone from a bad situation to worse. Not only is he a terrible communicator with many grammatical errors in his communications, he is constantly incorrect. This month I received a letter stating I did not pay my bill. I did. I have proof and sent proof. That's a small example of how this agency is managed. XXXX XXXX is basically upset because he has been incorrect so many times, I have had to make him aware of his constant and unprofessional behavior. The current issue is this : I sent a series of checks and they are in his office. Initially I sent these checks and the office lost them. This caused an issue with him cashing one of the checks after they were found months later even after in writing I made for certain to tell this company not to cash them if they were ever found. Who can not find a series of checks mailed to the address on their website? He's angry at me because he has two addresses posted on his website and I sent the address to one of the locations. He referred to this as " constant chaos ''. Because I pay my bill and do it on time and send to an address on his website. That's the best he can come up with to try and bully me. It didn't work. The current and only issue I know have with him is a series of post-dated checks that to a bank that has now closed. The XXXX XXXX checks which XXXX XXXX has in his possession is what I've asked to be returned to me to be re-issued by my new bank. He and his company are so illiterate they don't understand normal communications, so I laid it out very easily for him to read and try to understand -- even with pictures! So, in asking for these 3 months worth of checks to be returned in order to be reissued, this has set this man off. He now claims he will send back ALL of my checks ( they have checks all the way through XX/XX/XXXX that are post-dated ). He claims I can not send any further checks due to this " constant chaos '' -- the fact that he sends me bills that have been paid and the fact that he cashes checks that are clearly not supposed to be cashed -- this doesn't faze him. The fact that my bank closed and I asked for 3 checks back ... that is what keeps XXXX XXXX up at night. So, he claims he will not accept any future checks from me. He can not legally tell me how to pay as a consumer and I will not allow him to bully me or anyone else. The XXXX checks will be reissued and the XXXX XXXX checks he claims he will not accept now -- after those are returned per his email -- I will simply return BACK to this office. I will pay via check and will not have this individual tell me how I can pay. My checks have always been paid in full and on time and never bounced. XXXX XXXX methods of cashing checks that aren't supposed to be ( and then paying a fee for his stupidity ), not knowing how to check postal mail from addresses clearly listed on his website and of sending threatening emails to consumers is not something that will go unnoticed. This is a truly unprofessional company who will be reported to the XXXX, CFPB and Kentucky State Attorney General 's office. Once the re-issued checks ( all from XXXX XXXX ) have been returned and re-sent back to XXXX XXXX, I do expect them to be cashed on the post-dated exact date that is listed and previously agreed upon. After XX/XX/XXXX, I owe {$170.00} and will pay this debt in full simply to be rid of XXXX XXXX and his awful collections company, Credit Bureau Systems of XXXX and XXXX, KY.

The company, CREDIT BUREAU SYSTEMS, purchased a debt from another company and I have no involvement with the transition. According to 15 USC 3002 I am a natural person. My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX. 15 USC 1692 ( A ) ( 1 ) The term Bureau means the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection. XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX are assumed to be credit Bureaus and there is only one Bureau and that is the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Credit Bureau Systems is invading my privacy and in violation of HIPPA sharing and purchasing my medical information. I authorize Credit Bureau Systems to move forward with this complaint. I was never notified of this collection. Whats more, I do not believe this debt is accurate. Under the FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT, I have the right to request and receive validation of the debt. To Whom It May Concern : I recently pulled my credit report to begin the process of credit repair. During this time I reached out to Credit Bureau System collection agency and requested that my medical debt accounts placed with them be verified. After sending one letter to them via certified mail they responded with itemized statements from the hospital that clearly violated my HIPPA rights. I immediately filed a complaint with CFPB about this demanding that Credit Bureau Systems provide me with a signed HIPAA form from the organization they represented with whom I owed the debt to because I do not recall giving authorization to any third party, including a debt collector, the right to obtain any of my private health information. Credit Bureau System stated that they had the right to send those itemized statements because I " requested them ''. I spoke to an attorney about my rights regarding this matter and was advised to file a dispute with the credit agencies ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ) directly regarding these accounts. I filed a dispute with XXXX and two weeks later received a letter from Credit Bureau System threatening to sue me over these accounts. I never stated to this company that I didn't own the debt or discussed any type of payment arrangements or refusal to pay the debt. I simply asked that they verify their right to collect the debt and prove that they had my signed permission to have access to such private personal health information. The attorney I have spoke to advised me that a collection agency may have access to the amount owed and general medical billing codes regarding the hospital or physician 's office visit but that these codes are generalized to such things as " ER visit ''. They in no way shape or form should have received an itemized statement listing every diagnosis, procedure, medication, lab or diagnostic test describing my visit. I was further advised that the legal procedure for this is for the collection agency to request that the hospital send the consumer the itemized statements but a collection agency legally should not have this information to begin with, none the less mail the consumer a copy. This is a direct violation of my privacy and I am prepared to file a formal HIPAA violation complaint if Credit Bureau System continues to refuse to provide the authorization form they are legally required to have in order to collect this debt and to have obtained my personal protected health information. I fully intend on contacting and attempting to make payment arrangements with the organizations I owe debt if and when my responsibility for the debt is verified, but I absolutely will not stand for my personal information being accessed by anyone other than my medical providers, especially without my permission or knowledge of them having it. All of the accounts placed with Credit Bureau Systems are to be immediately removed from my credit profile and Credit Bureau System shall cease all contact with me as well as any further attempts to collect these debts from me or I will immediately file a formal HIPAA complaint and will allow my attorney to start a civil law suit. Laws are put in place to protect consumers and simply asking to have a debt verified should not be met with threats of legal action on old debts. Received a collections letter in XXXX from Credit Bureau Systems , Inc. located in XXXX, KY Called on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with a representative who stated to outline everything in an email with a deadline of XX/XX/XXXX. I sent an email to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, outlining all the payments I had made in XXXX of statements I had received, whatever outstanding claims needed to go back and reran through BOTH of my insurance policies ( copies of medical ins cards were also sent ), and asked for an itemized outline of all charges, what insurance has paid, and what I have paid. I was very near my deductible for the year due to several health issues including XXXX XXXXXXXX, what I had already paid out of pocket, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that found XXXX, had one XXXX XXXX, then I contracted XXXX XXXX that left me in the XXXX for over 2 months ( primarily in XXXX ) on XXXX XXXX ( XXXX, XXXX ( XXXX ), XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ). I was in XXXX different XXXX. After being discharged from having XXXX, I had XXXX XXXX XXXX, was XXXX XXXX, and required 24/7 care and XXXX XXXX visits for nearly 3 months. I heard nothing back from Credit Bureau Systems and assumed everything was taken care of - no further correspondence or phone calls.Found differently when I went to purchase a new truck and my credit score had dropped XXXX points in one month ( was XXXX and dropped to XXXX ). This is the point I lost money since my credit score was so low, I had to pay a higher interest rate with XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) on the loan on a new truck. I once again contacted XXXX credit company - XXXX lied to me and stated XXXX wouldn't be able to find these items ( but XXXX supervisor did ). She refused to provide the items I had requested in XXXX- said they were already sent- but I didn't receive anything. She told me to contact my ins co and ask why they hadn't paid. She refused to withdraw the reports on my credit to allow everything to be reviewed of what was charged as I had requested in XXXX, then paid by ins and personally, then pay XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, MO, what is due, if anything. I was able to contact a supervisor at XXXX who found that these charges were incorrectly assigned to my personal credit account - should have gone to the ins co. and ins processing them as of XX/XX/XXXX. These items are still on my credit report. Ive requested all statements and payments from XXXX as well. Interestingly, what is noted on my credit report is different than what XXXX sent to me in a statement. XXXX also sent duplicates of charges and other charges were never received- so I have had to go through their statements and look for errors, of which I found many. Need consistency and to allow to research all charges and payments. I don't have an issue paying what I owe. I did go through a lot of unexpected health issues ( was healthy a year ago ) in XXXX, had two medical insurance policies, and did in good faith try to get all accounts paid in a timely manner before I got so sick with XXXX and then after being released even with having great difficulty functioning for a considerable amount of time but still continued to review and pay medical claims that were sent to me. I am still not working FT at the business I own due to my illnesses and had to sell another one that I had for 19 years because of my physical abilities in recovery.

Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am writing to file a complaint against Credit Bureau Systems , Inc. for their reporting of a debt of {$78.00} to the credit reporting agencies without properly investigating or showing evidence that I owed the debt. When I asked for verification of the debt, they sent me paperwork that did not have my name or any identifying information on it. I believe that Credit Bureau Systems , Inc. has violated my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) by reporting inaccurate and incomplete information to the credit reporting agencies. I have been adversely affected by this reporting, as it has lowered my credit score and made it difficult for me to obtain credit. Despite my repeated requests for verification of the debt, Credit Bureau Systems , Inc. has failed to provide me with any meaningful evidence that I owe the debt in question. The paperwork they sent me did not include any identifying information that would allow me to determine if it was actually related to me. I request that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau investigate this matter and take appropriate action against Credit Bureau Systems , Inc. for their violations of the FCRA. I also request that Credit Bureau Systems , Inc. be required to remove the inaccurate and incomplete information from my credit reports and provide me with verification of the debt in question. I disputed the company multiple time on the following dates : XX/XX/23 XX/XX/23 XX/XX/23 The company never changed anything and marked it as verified. The papers that the collection company sends as part of their investigation into your dispute should ideally have your name or some other identifying information on them. This information is necessary to verify that the debt in question belongs to you. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), a debt collector is required to provide you with verification of the debt if you dispute it. This verification should include the name of the original creditor, the amount of the debt, and other identifying information related to the debt. If the collection company sends you paperwork that does not have your name or other identifying information on it, you should follow up with them and request additional documentation that will help you determine whether the debt belongs to you. You can also dispute the accuracy of the information with the credit reporting agency that is reporting the debt, and provide them with any supporting documentation or evidence that you have. Ultimately, if the collection company can not provide sufficient evidence that you owe the debt, the credit reporting agency may be required to remove the debt from your credit report. The mail system is not that slow, however the internal process of the " Credit Bureau Systems '' procedures are less reviewed, however governed. This delay tactic illegally eats away at the consumers ability to dispute within the time limits afforded by the law. This is deceitful practices as according to FDCPA subsection 807 " False or misleading Representations '' as well as subsection 808 " Unfair practices '' I disputed this over the phone on XXXX/XXXX/16 ( less than 30 days from date of notice ) to XXXX XXXX agent of Credit Bureau Systems agent, as well as in writing on the same date. ( please see attached ) As well and also contrary to the above subsections the failure to provide the name and account of the original creditor, the threats to injure my credit by reporting it to the credit reporting agencies despite these deceitful methods ( as according to their agent ), actually following throiugh and illegally reporting it to the reporting agency along with a note that " consumer disputes this account information '' ( they accept I dispute, however failed to follow the mandates of the FDCPA for a dispute, maliciously damaging my credit and causing liability ), the deceitful statement of a " Patient # '' on their statement ( as though this debt has to do with a patient, rather than a utility bill ), their company title diceitfully alluding to them actually being one of the credit bureaus and their agent 's statement that claims would continue anyway, are contrary to the FDCPA or the law that governs your practices Please not that this account was supposedly opened with the Credit Bureau Systems on XXXX/XXXX/16 while notice was not created for about a month XXXX/XXXX/16 or mailed until another month after that. They appear to have an interdepartmental anomaly that every step in their procedure seems to take a month.

I received a letter from Credit Bureau Systems , Inc. dated XX/XX/2022. It stated, " If you do not apply within 30 days of the mailing of this notice, it is our intent, to file a lawsuit and seek a judgement against you. '' The letter further goes on to state ( in bolded font ), " The above actions will not be taken sooner than thirty ( 30 ) days from the mailing of this notice. '' I however received a letter from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX dated XX/XX/2022 stating they were notifying me that they have been instructed by Credit Bureau Systems , Inc., " to prepare a lawsuit against you regarding the attached medical bills. This action is being taken because, despite previous notices requesting payment, you have failed to make payment on the debt. '' Credit Bureau Systems , Inc. did not give me 30 days from the mailing on XX/XX/2022 to respond, apply, reach out, etc. before I received a threatening letter from a local attorney 's office. The Credit Bureau Systems , Inc. letter dated XX/XX/2022 only addresses ( Reverse side of letter ) legal action against a balance of {$5200.00}. Whereas the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX dated XX/XX/2022 addresses legal action against a balance of {$7800.00}. I did not receive notice from Credit Bureau Systems , Inc. about the potential for interest to be accrued in their XX/XX/2022 letter, the letter from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX dated XX/XX/2022 has in the subject line : " {$7800.00} plus interest from XX/XX/2022. '' The topic of interest is not discussed in any further in this letter but grossly assumed. I also received a Settlement Discount Program letter dated XX/XX/2022 from Credit Bureau Systems , Inc., authorized to offer certain tax season settlement discounts to XXXX XXXX patients. This offer was allowed to me if I responded within 30 days from the date of notice. However, I received the " Legal Action '' letter from Credit Bureau Systems , Inc. dated XX/XX/2022, less than 30 days of the dated Settlement Discount Program offer letter. Furthermore, XXXX : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX failed to mail multiple bills to my mailing address. I did not receive or was made aware of different bills totaling at least or at minimum {$150.00}.

I received mail at my new place of work, where I am a single sub-contract agent who does not get paid until the closing of a transaction. I called CBS and was transferred to XXXX XXXX. I tried to set up payment plans of {$25.00} which was my original agreement with XXXX XXXX prior to collection. I am a family of XXXX with {$XXXX} annual income. I tried to explain this to XXXX when she would not let me make a payment of {$25.00}. She was extremely rude to me and caused me a lot of distress with the things she was threatening me with. She told me that they had verified my new employment, " which means I have income and I have to pay at least {$300.00} a month or the balance in full otherwise they would sue me and come after me. And I would n't want to be responsible to more money after legal fees are involved, would I? '' That is rough verbatim of what XXXX said to me over my {$3600.00} balance with CBS. At one point she had me in tears when I tried to explain to her I did not want them contacting my new employer about my collections and trying to get me in trouble with my new job where I am trying to make money. I am a XXXX with no income coming in currently. I am only a few months in the business. She was very hateful and continued to threaten me with court and legal fees if I could not pay more than {$300.00} a month. Anytime I tried to explain that my annual income had not changed from the {$XXXX}, she would keep telling me they 've verified my employment. However, that does not mean my income has increased. I am trying to make my $ XXXX monthly payments the best I can. XXXX has me very afraid of being sued when I am trying my best to pay what I can. I am trying to be the best I can and I will continue to make my $ XXXX monthly payments if she would let me. It is not fair that I am not allowed by her to make a payment bc she does not feel it is enough money. Nor should I have to keep calling in hopes of getting someone different at CBS that may let me make my payment. I have asked to have a new case rep and they will not allow that either, even after I explain all of the distress XXXX XXXX has caused me.

This company does not have a contract with me. This is not a valid debt. NO CONTRACT. This is a violation of HIPAA as well as the Fair Credit Reporting Act. After viewing a copy of my credit report, I noticed a collection account placed on my credit report from Credit Bureau Systems Inc. Additionally, I am allowed under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ( HIPAA ) to protect my privacy and medical records from third parties. I did not give permission to any of my current or prior medical providers to release any of my medical information to a third party. I am aware that th e HIPAA d oes allows the release of limited information about me but anything more is to only be revealed with the patients authorization. Therefore, my request is twofoldvalidation of debt and HIPAA authorization. Please provide breakdown of fees including any collection costs and medical charges. Provide a copy of my signature with the provider of service to release my medical information to you. Cease any credit bureau reporting until the debt has been validated by me. Credit Bureau System Inc need s to send this information to me for review, accept this letter, sent certified mail, as my formal debt validation request, which I am allowed under the FDCPA. Please note that withholding the information you received from any medical provider in an attempt to be HIPAA com pliant can be a violation of the FDCPA because you will be deceiving me after my written request. I request full documentation of what you received from the provider of service in connection with this alleged debt. Additionally, any reporting of this debt to the credit bureaus prior to allowing me to validate it is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, which can allow me to seek damages from a collection agency. This is a formal complaint against CBS for reporting invalid credit information. On XX/XX/2021, CBS reported a {$150.00} collection account on my credit report that is not mine. Per FDCPA laws, collection agencies have to send a written notice of debt to consumers before reporting a debt to the credit bureaus. The letter must contain the following : " ( 1 ) the amount of the debt ; ( 2 ) the name of the creditor to whom the debt is owed ; '' ( 3 ) Thirty days to dispute the validity of debt upon receipt of the notice ( 4 ) a statement that if the consumer notifies the debt collector in writing within the thirty-day period that the debt, or any portion thereof, is disputed, the debt collector will obtain verification of the debt or a copy of a judgment against the consumer and a copy of such verification or judgment will be mailed to the consumer by the debt collector ; and ( 5 ) a statement that, upon the consumer 's written request within the thirty-day period, the debt collector will provide the consumer with the name and address of the original creditor, if different from the current creditor. '' Prior to reporting this erroneous collection account on my credit report, CBS failed to mail me any letters making me aware of the debt or validating it belonged to me. According to CBS ' own website, they mail customers at least three collection letters coupled with phone calls. After reviewing all the mail captures sent by USPS Informed Delivery to my email and my phone 's call history, I confirm I never received any letters or phone calls from CBS, notifying me of this debit. I am requesting this inaccurate collection account be removed from my credit reports at once. It is causing grave damage to my credit reputation and is unfairly hurting my credit health. Every step must be seized to ensure the data reported on a consumer 's file is error-free and up-to-date. Should you fail to swiftly remove the collection falsely reported, I will file a formal complaint with the CFPB and FTC.

I believe that I am the victim of a scam or at the very least my rights pertaining to a past due debt. I reached out to Credit Bureau Systems on XXXX / XXXX / XXXX . I was trying to make payment on a XXXX -old XXXX XXXX with XXXX XXXX XXXX that totaled {$1000.00}. I wrongly assumed had been covered by the hospitals XXXX XXXX department as I was unemployed, a full-time XXXX , and XXXX XXXX at the time of the service. I spoke to someone who was extraordinarily forceful and threatened me with legal action time and again. We could not come to a payment arrangement as she wanted me to make the payment in full. I was and still am not able to make a one-time payoff. I repeatedly asked to be able to pay a portion of it and at first she talked in circles then she agreed to let me make a payment, then she told me that she would mail me the information that I needed to make the payment ( password, pin, etc ). The first week of XXXX I received a letter from a law office regarding said debt. Now I not only owe the amount due but also the legal fees which total {$120.00}. I feel that CBS violated the law by not providing me with information that I asked for and that they agreed to send me, on XXXX XXXX . For what I understand I should have received something from them within one week of our conversation, I did not receive anything. They claim to record every single phone call so record of these events should be attainable. I feel like I am being taken advantage of. Please advise me on how to handle this without obtaining further charges and overwhelming frustration. I am still a low income, XXXX XXXX . I have full-time job but my net income is only {$25000.00}, this amount is barely enough for me to make my ends meet as it is. I am doing my best to correct my past and protect my future. I have 2 items listed in my credit reports from " Credit Bureau Systems '' trying to collect medical debt. I sent them a letter XX/XX/2021, asking them for proof this debt belongs to me and they sent me medical records as their proof on XX/XX/2021. They did not provide me a signed contract of any kind but most importantly they did not provide a signed HIPPA release form for them to even be in possession of detailed medical records. No one can be in possession of medical records without explicit permission from the patient by way of a signed HIPPA release form including 3rd party collection agencies. They have violated HIPPA laws. So immediately after I received their letter I disputed with all the credit bureaus sending them a copy of what Credit Bureau Systems sent to me only to have it come back that it " meets FCRA Requirements ''. It most certainly does not. I also wrote to Credit Bureau Systems informing them of their HIPPA violation and request they stop reporting these collections on my credit reports but they have not responded and are still ILLEGALLY reporting on my credit reports. Violating HIPPA laws is a serious legal violation. One in which I can sue both the collection agency and the credit bureaus for violating. I don't want to have to take it that far but will. I'd like to get it resolved and be done with it. I came to your website today and looked up how to make a complaint and I looked up Credit Bureau Systems and I found out Credit Bureau Systems has a past history of violating HIPPA laws. They are known for doing this and action against them needs to be taken. I definitely want this published by CFPB so that others who are having their HIPPA rights violated by this crooked company will be able to see and hopefully use this and other complaints against Credit Bureau Systems.

Credit Bureau Systems never verified the debt nor did they produce an agreement that authorized the company to collect on alleged debt. It is a violation to 15 usc 1692f ( 1 ) and considered unfair practices to claim that a consumer owes a debt without the proof of an authorized agreement. I am challenging CBS to provide the agreement under penalty of perjury. Credit Bureau Systems said that they would honor my cease and desist order for ALL communications, but the company stated that reporting to consumer reporting agencies wasn't considered communication. As a debt collection agency, Credit Bureau Systems should be aware that communication is defined in the FDCPA as the conveying of information regarding a debt directly or indirectly to any person through any medium. Isn't CBS conveying information regarding an alleged debt to a person or persons known as a consumer reporting agency through a medium known as my consumer report? This is a violation of the FDCPA under 15 usc 1692c ( c ). CBS also said that another company " referred '' the alleged debt. I challenge CBS to provide proof of this " referral '' under the penalty of perjury. I would like to bring to CBS 's attention and for the record. According to 15 usc 1692j ( a ), It is unlawful to design, compile, and furnish any form knowing that such form would be used to create the false belief in a consumer that a person other than the creditor of such consumer is participating in the collection of or in an attempt to collect a debt such consumer allegedly owes such creditor, when in fact such person is not so participating. Because of CBS 's failure to follow my cease and desist order and their multiple acts against the FDCPA, I will be pursuing remedy for all injuries against me pursuant to 15 usc 1692k.

This Credit Bureau systems has never contacted me. The only reason I'm aware of their existence is because they are continuously reporting this to the credit bureaus. I have tried to fight some on my credit report but they remove it then it shows back up. I never received a bill from the original company. How can I pay something I never even received a bill? Debt collectors must speak to my by phone or in person about the debt or mail a letter or electronic communications about the debt and wait for a reasonable amount of time ( usually 14 days ) to ensure it was delivered before reporting anything to credit reporting companies. This never happened. I never received anything, you can not just ruin someone's credit when you don't give them a chance to pay! This is deceptive, I don't know the amount I owe cause I never got the bill! I believe they are trying to claim way more than what I should owe. The debt collection company has to provide me with Name and mailing information of the debt collector Name of the creditor whom the debt is owed Account number associated with the debt An itemization of the current amount of the debt that reflects interest, fees, payments, and credits since a particular date, called the itemization date. The current amount of the debt as of when the validation notice is provided. Information about your debt collection rights including how to dispute the debt I never received any statements or anything from original creditor or the debt collection company. While reviewing my credit report, I noticed several accounts that should not be on my credit report. I have written several letters disputing these accounts as they are in violation of numerous Federal laws. These accounts are also in violation of the precedent set by XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, which states that the burden of proof is on the reporting agency and not on the consumer and that they have a duty to actually conduct a real investigation, which they never do. And that is on top of all of the reporting violations and inaccuracies that I have found. I have never been provided any documentation by the reporting agency or the original creditor. Every time I request it, I am ignored. They say that the accounts were verified, when I know they have not been verified. I have been asking for months for them to verify the accounts with supporting documentation. As of today 's date, they have not verified anything, which makes the accounts unverifiable, which makes them inaccurate, which means they has to be deleted. XXXX aka Credit Bureau Systems has repeatedly placed several inaccurate invalid and disputed debt onto my report. I HAVENT RECEIVED THE FIRST BILL FROM THEM FOR ANY ACCOUNT. They have several amounts they claim I owe. I dispute the debt, I win the dispute, and then XXXX Credit Bureau Systems XXXX XXXX XXXX KY XXXX opens up several new accounts and changes the account number and places it back on my report as debt owed. I disputed XXXX XXXX ( 3 debts ) to XXXX and XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I called them early in XX/XX/XXXX, and sent a letter to them in XX/XX/XXXX regarding CBS. I won the dispute XX/XX/XXXX and it was deleted. I posted a letter I sent to XXXX about CBS. CBS placed it back on my report with a new account number after I disputed it and it looks like a new debt owed. I called XXXX Fraud Dept and the lady stated I would have to contact them, and that yes they were reporting old disputed deleted debt making it appear to look new again by changing the account number and changing the amount owed slightly. This debt of XXXX XXXX went back onto my report as a debt of XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. I have made numerous contacts with Credit Bureau Systems ( CBS ) regarding inaccurate medical debt being reported on my credit profile. The account balance was the financial responsibility of my secondary insurance company, XXXX XXXX XXXX. The client of CBS, XXXX XXXX XXXX, had all Coordination of Benefits information at the time of the service and billed numerous other visits to both insurance providers in the same time period. CBS states they will not contact their client for proof of timely filing and claim submission. When disputed, they report this information as verified and accurate to XXXX because " their client says that is the balance due ''. I have made numerous attempts to coordinate communication between CBS and the responsible secondary insurance provider. The provider agreement between XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX " The Provider also acknowledges and agrees that at no time shall Enrollees be responsible for any payments to the Provider with the exception of Enrollee expenses and/or non-covered services '' The balance is either the responsibility of XXXX XXXX for failing to meet timely filing guidelines, or of XXXX XXXX XXXX if the claim was filed but payment was not made. CBS ( debt collector ) is charging a 35 % collection fee that is prohibited in the State of Tennessee. Tenn.Code Ann. XXXX " Collecting or attempting to collect from the debtor any fee, commission or other compensation not provided by law for collection services rendered to a client ... '' XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( creditor ) has assured me that they are not trying to collect interest or any other fees, only the amount owed ( {$8600.00} ). I have asked CBS to itemize the {$3000.00} in writing and they refer me back to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and to my original agreement. The original agreement allows the bank to collect interest, attorney and court fees to the extent the law will allow. Section 808 ( 1 ) of the FDPCA allowed the addition of collection fees when " such amount is expressly authorized by the agreement creating the debt or permitted by law. '' I have spoke with XXXX XXXX regarding the {$3000.00} who advised me that is it a 35 % collection fee of the balance owed ( {$8600.00} ). This collection agency has had all the information needed to collect on this account. This account was referred to them in XXXX of 2012, and they have not attempted to collect this debt. The debt collector, Credit Bureau Systems, contacted both me and my wife regarding Medical Bills. I informed them that I do not discuss anything on the phone, I told them I am only be contacted via US Mail and I requested proof they're authorized to collect and an Itemized Bill from the Hospital showing that we sill owe these bills. I stressed that I want this " From the Hospital, Not a photocopy from them. '' After that time, we received 2 more calls and then I received a Printout from them, not the hospital. This Printout included the Medical Procedures that were performed and this was not from the Hospital. When I informed them that they are not authorized to have my personal information that I did not sign any release for them to have this information, which they responded that it's part of the Rights and Responsibilities I signed with the hospital. I also informed them that the two accounts they have were already paid from my XXXX. They stated that we needed to contact the hospital and get them proof of payment. Two weeks later they added a Collections Account to both our Credit Reports. On XX/XX/2021, and XX/XX/2021, I sent letters by USPS certified mail to Credit Bureau Systems requesting validation of 4 medical accounts from original creditor XXXX, which CBS is reporting to XXXX and XXXX. In CBS 's response to my first letter, they failed to validate this debt. However, in a bold attempt to falsely validate, they in fact did clearly violate my HIPAA rights. I have yet to receive a response from CBS to my second letter. I mailed certified letters to both XXXX and XXXX making them aware of these HIPAA violations by CBS. In my letters, I included copies of CBS 's response letter to me in full-color copies which show clearly XXXX XXXX letterhead billing with detailed information of specific services rendered. A request for validation for alleged debt owed according to 15 UC 1692g Sec 809 ( b ) I recently reviewed my consumer credit profile on XX/XX/2022, and it seems the furnished has added a collection to my credit profile. Credit Bureau Systems Inc. was collecting medical bills. They sent me a notice of collection with a website where I could pay. I went to the website and clicked login, login however was for businesses using the service not for the consumer that they were attempting to collect. so i clicked pay bill which gave a disclaimer and then a page to enter your routing and account number or credit card number. Nowhere did it show you what you were paying or confirm that you were paying bills you owed. i called the customer service number and requested a login where they confirmed I don't have one and suggested I contact the attorney 's office associated with the account. I asked for an itemized bill which I never received. I don't think it is fair collection practice to not show a consumer what they are paying. it seems very unsafe to enter account or credit card information into a website where you have no details on what you are actually committing to pay. This all seems like a fraud to me however, I have since been served with a law suite over this. this seems like a very unfair collection practice and unsafe in this day and age to blindly enter account information without understanding what you are paying

I was contacted at work 4 days ago ( Friday XX/XX/XXXX) by someone named XXXX, from Credit Bureau Systems Inc. This call was an attempt to collect a debt originating from an ER visit earlier this year. On that call I explained that I was under the impression that i was not responsible for any portion of the cost of said visit, and the agent took time to explain everything to me. She also reminded me that if i did not take any action this would result in a legal action. We ended the call agreeing that I needed to speak with my coverage provider before proceeding. I then began getting more calls at work again on Monday, Tuesday, & Today from the same agent. During a conversation again with the same agent, she took a much less civil approach this time. I tried explaining that i simply could not pay the balance today. And the agent began to suggest that i use a credit card. I declined and she continued saying that i have good credit and i should put the charge on a credit card. at this point i realized that this call had strayed from the normal and allowable parameters of a Debt collection call, and attempted to end the call amicably, but I only received threats of legal action and anger.

I spoke with a person named XXXX on XX/XX/22 to make arrangements to settle mine and my husbands combined medical debt. My balance was approximately {$1800.00}. I don't remember the exact amount. We agreed on around {$1400.00}. I told her I could pay XXXX on XX/XX/22 and that I could pay the remainder {$200.00} ( and something ) on XX/XX/22. She explained that the agreement was good until XX/XX/22. I paid the {$1200.00} on XX/XX/22. When I called back on XX/XX/22 to pay the balance of the agreed upon settlement, she said that I would have to pay the full amount because I didn't pay the agreed amount in full on XX/XX/22. I argued about this since she's the one that made me an offer that would expire on XX/XX/22. Her explanation was that she was sorry but she was new and didn't know better and could not honor the agreement. Credit Bureau System has reported 2 collections against my SSN for the amount of {$140.00} and {$60.00} with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX credit reporting agencies. I requested validation of the alleged debt from this company on XX/XX/2019 and after 30 days with no response I decided to call their office to follow up on XX/XX/2019. After making contact with the representative, she proceeded to tell me that the accounts being reported against my SSN had a different name and that there was an additional collection of {$360.00} set to report against my SSN. Not once have I received correspondence from this company in regards to this alleged debt and I believe that my FDCPA/HIPPA rights have been violated. I immediately did not feel comfortable with continuing the conversation based on the information I received from the representative. As a debt collector, it is their responsibility to ensure that ALL INFORMATION IS REPORTED ACCURATELY IN RELATION TO THE PARTY IN QUESTION. Credit Bureau Systems has not been able to validate this debt, they have the incorrect name filed for said accounts, and they are reporting amounts that are not consistent with what's showing on my credit reports.

1. CBS is pursuing me as an independent collection agent when the originating provider of services ( XXXX XXXX ) is actively accepting payments from me. ( 2 ) The false representation of ( A ) the character, amount, or legal status of any debt; or ( B ) any services rendered or compensation which may be lawfully received by any debt collector to collect a debt. There is a collection account on my credit reports from CREDIT BUREAU SYSTEMS that says I owe {$360.00} to XXXX XXXX XXXX that I do not owe. I paid this debt directly to XXXX XXXX and can prove it with XXXX XXXX XXXX own account statements, my HSA account statements, and I can also prove that XXXX XXXX shows that I owe XXXX dollars when I log into my online account with them. This is from a XXXX I had last year and I used my HSA card to make payments. I have tried to dispute the account but I have had no luck, Credit Bureau Systems will not remove the debt. Please help me with this matter, I do not owe this debt and would gladly prove it to anyone willing to listen. I have attached files showing when the debt was incurred due to a XXXX, and also a statement summary where you can clearly see the debt being paid down, with payments never having longer than a month in between them. I was notified that I have an unpaid debt by my credit monitoring company that was reported on my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX and XXXX by Credit Bureau Sysyems. Credit Bureau Systems has withheld verification information and thus fraudulently represented a debt, for which they are claiming I am liable. Credit Bureau Systems failure to provide pertinent information regarding their claim, which I am entitled to under the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, has resulted in my inability to resolve the dispute in a timely manner, despite repeated requests ( both by phone and certified mail ). I had XXXX at XXXX XXXX in XXXX, MO in XXXX of 2021. I was told I would have to pay a set amount of money upfront before having XXXX, to pay for what the insurance company would not cover. I paid that amount so I could schedule XXXX. Fastforward to XXXX of 2021, I get 5 collections related to billing by XXXX XXXX for my XXXX. Within the past four months I had noticed three collections having been reported on my credit report and a massive drop in my fico score. I reached out to the collections company noted on the record as " Credit Bureau Systems Inc ''. I immediately sent them a Validation letter on XX/XX/2019 and after 30 days had not received any written correspondence back from them. I had a debt that went to collections with Credit Bureau Systems. We made a payment arrangment on the debt. I have the email to show that. I made every payment that was agreed upon. They came back after saying that the arragement was not satisfactory and I had to pay the rest of the balance. They claimed no such agreement was made. I have disputed this debt multiple times through the credit bureaus and they will not remove it. I have contacted the company directly by both phone and email and they will not remove it. Recently, I filed for an Auto Loan and I came across discrepancies on my credit report and my credit score. Company called while I was working and refuses to communicate unless I revealed personal information including SSN info. I refused to comply with that request but I called back to make sure I was speaking to a real rep. Unfortunately at this point I was hung up on. I originally tried to pay this bill to the hospital XXXX ( orignal owner of my debt ). I had XXXX and was waiting to get a few pay checks to get caught up. I have contacted the company several times since XXXX when this started with police and court paperwork that clearly state these are not my accounts and they were opened fraudulently by someone else.
