My Bank XXXX referred me to XXXX, which referred me to Credit Advisors to negotiate reduced interest rate on my credit cards. I spoke to XXXX XXXX multiple times in early XXXX. He explained that they had a program where by I could enroll all my credit cards, they would put them on reduced negotiated rates. He explained that I would not be able to use the cards while they were in the program, but they would re-activate once paid off, or I could remove them to the program at any time. While on the program, I would make one consolidated payment to Credit Advisors. We spoke on 3 or 4 occasions because I had to look up data and card numbers, and he had to calculate what my consolidated payment and what the interest rates would be. I have 2 credit cards with XXXX XXXX - a XXXX card that I pay off every month. I have had this card for approx 30 years. Last year I ran approximately XXXX - XXXX per month in company expenses thru this card as I work for a start up. I also have am XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card with a balance and a high interest rate. Right now I am not traveling, so I don't need the XXXX card, but if the country opens back up I will need it. XXXX said since I can withdraw a credit card at any time he recommended I put it on the program, or I could pay off the XXXX card early and then have both cards back to use. I also was not sure putting all the cards in the program was a good idea as I might not have enough emergency funds, but he convinced me otherwise. He sent me a contract, and I asked if I had to read it carefully and he said it was everything we discussed. I signed up. I have since discovered that XXXX XXXX 100 % Materially Misrepresented this program. Credit Advisors has permanently closed all of my accounts and tagged them as in collection. I have asked to be withdrawn from the program and they have told me I can not. XXXX was not adequately supervised, and I am told their phone calls are not recorded. I now have need for emergency funds. I have lost 30 years worth of credit history. I can not re-apply for all of these cards without a significant negative impact to my account. I NEVER would have enrolled any of my cards in the program if I had been told my accounts would be closed. I had additional travel benefits I got from some of the cards. This company made false statements to my detriment, they are saying they can not fix it. They are not qualified to be a credit advisor. They gave me VERY INAPPROPRIATE Credit Advice. I have spoken to their CEO and a manager and they are telling me I can not withdraw from the program. They say can not re-open my accounts that they closed without authorization.

Date contact : XX/XX/19 by XXXX XXXX of Credit Advisors. They were referred to me by the XXXX. This company portrays itself as a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) not-for-profit when they are clearing in it for the profit. Before even asking me about my request or what I need help with they requested all my debt balances and other sensitive information to " calculate '' my payment to them. This company is like many others to scam people into paying them for the advice of settling debts through destroying your own credit. You can see in my attached email where he mentions " correct terms of the creditor ''. When I contacted them I didn't even ask about this type of service. I hope my complaint helps people from making the mistake of going through this company.
