On XX/XX/XXXX I made an identity theft report to the FTC. The FTC Report Number : XXXX about the following accounts being in existence because of identity theft. Also associated with these accounts is inaccurate information.
1st ACCount : XXXX XXXX XXXX Account Number : XXXX INquiry Date : XX/XX/XXXX The reason for this follow-up complaint is that this account is still showing on my credit profile. When the identity theft report was submitted to the FTC on XX/XX/XXXX well over 4 business working days. I thought that when identity theft is reported to the furnishers of the information, the account shall be blocked, the reporting of any information in the file of a consumer that the consumer identifies as information that resulted from alleged identity theft, not later than 4 business days after the date of receipt by such agency of copy of the identity theft report and delete inaccurate information on a consumer 's credit report.
The following reporting agencies are still reporting this account, that has been reported as a result of identity theft and they have inaccurate information associated with those aforementioned accounts ; reported by these two reporting agencies ; XXXX and XXXX. Whereas, XXXX has deleted the account due to the XXXX CFPBs complaint # XXXX which is the same complaint as XXXX CFPBs # XXXX and XXXX CFPBs # XXXX. You all are more than welcome to continue your investigation however until then block and delete the account due to the identity thief report and the inaccurate information associated with it as stated in the FCRA.
Oh, the new information I can convey to you all is that while you all are still at this point being negligent and not compliant to FRCA that acts on the behalf of people like myself. Whereas, XXXX has deleted this account that I started complaining and disputing since XX/XX/XXXX.
What is XXXX issue and XXXX?
XXXX has the account status as paid, just like XXXX had. Yes, past tense because they have deleted the account. XXXX has the same account render close. Which one is it since you all are furnishing inaccurate information by the looks of it!
I have already contacted XXXX and XXXX twice. This will be the third attempt to resolve this defamation of my character. Which is directly affecting the way lenders and the insurance company will look at me. Which will affect the loan amount, interest, and the terms of a mortgage, personal, business credit card loans and insurance policies, etc. You all shall inform the furnisher of the information that its an identity theft reported associated with this account, that a block has been requested and the effective date of the block which is past due as of XX/XX/XXXX.
My tri-merge credit report from XXXX factually shows that all three credit reporting agencies reported inaccurate information associated with this account. When looking at the ACCOUNT STATUS ( typed in black/bold font ) You all will see that the following credit reporting agencies are inaccurately reporting the XXXX XXXX XXXX Account # XXXX differently. However, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX CARDS, and XXXX XXXX are failing to block due to identity theft and delete the account because its substantially factually disputed. I propose a question for the following furnisher of my inaccurate reported credit profile.

XXXX is in the process of blocking and deleting this account and they have assured me that they will be notifying you all.
XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX Cards, XXXX, and XXXX the Congressional findings and statement of purpose ( a ) Accuracy and fairness of credit reporting. Congress makes the following findings : ( 1 ) The banking system is dependent upon fair and accurate credit reporting. Inaccurate credit reports directly impair the efficiency of the banking system, and unfair credit reporting methods undermine public confidence which is essential to the continued functioning of the banking system. ( 2 ) An elaborate mechanism has been developed for investigating and evaluating the creditworthiness, credit standing, credit capacity, character, and general reputation of consumers. ( 3 ) Consumer reporting agencies have assumed a vital role in assembling and evaluating consumer credit and other information on consumers. ( 4 ) There is a need to ensure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and respect for the consumers right to privacy.
