We were in the process of obtaining a consolidation loan from another financial institution. We told XXXX XXXX [ who the installment loan is with ] about this consolidation process XXXX times. We finally got a closing date for the consolidation loan and called XXXX to obtain the installment loan 's balance. We were told we could not get the payoff over the phone [ they gave us a balance on the accounts ] that we would have to go in. We went in to get the payoffs and gave them the date we thought we needed the payoff amount to be. They printed out the payoffs. Our consolidation loan closed 2 days after the payoff amounts were good for. The day after the date the payoffs were good until, XXXX of XXXX 's [ his name is XXXX ] employees came to our home ... to " scope things out ''. My partner approached him and she told him that the consolidation 's closing date was the following day. He was condescending, telling her that we had " promised '' to pay off the installment loans on the date we asked for the payoff amounts. He also asked " what car titles '' his company held [ they were never given auto titles ].
Prior to his coming out to the house, they would call our phones up to XXXX times daily.
I was also dealing with another installment loan company that was the TOTAL OPPOSITE of this XXXX. They documented each time we called concerning payoffs, the original closing date and the new closing date. No complaints for them.

I signed for loan insurance with a XXXX dollar loan on my XXXX title in XXXX, borrowed from Courtesy Finance in XXXX TN. I then became permanently XXXX later in XXXX, after XXXX percent of loan was payed. My co-borrower and live in girl friend defaulted taking the XXXX and moving out, I then informed courtesy I needed them to apply the coverage I had signed for when I took out loan. They kept pressuring me for the loan payment, so I told them about my XXXX and long term XXXX payments from XXXX XXXX while on the call with the manager. I waited for awhile to hear back from them, assuming they started the process and paid off the loan. Fast forward to this week, I checked my credit agency on XX/XX/XXXX and the loan was written of as bad dept, not paid off from insurance. They chose not to report to XXXX for 2 years after the write off. This is how I found out the insurance wasn't applied. I called the new manager on XX/XX/XXXX, she claimed I did not have coverage, and her records were a mess from the previous manager. I asked her to look at my actual file, when she looked she saw the sheets from the XXXX coverage, and then she said I'm sorry it looks like we went over the coverage and you signed it, but we never sent the papers in, sorry again we XXXX up. The original manager was very unprofessional, she was hurrying to finish our loan because it was close to closing time and her help had left.

I don't remember the date but I checked my mail one day and there was a check to deposit from Curteosy finance in XXXX, Ga on XXXX XXXX. It was for XXXX. I had not put in for a loan at this company. Why the sent me check maybe bc my credit score was good then and in the past before I had put in for loans. Well I deposited the check into my XXXX XXXX account. Then a week later I get this this book and it's payments, intrest rates high intrest rates, and I wasn't sick then so I did start paying. Well when I was diagnosed with stage XXXX XXXX put on XXXX at that time XXXX a month. They call me and cuss me out and I mean one lady called me a very bad word. They completely harassed me & even came here to my house after calling from different numbers to get me to answer. I reported this to there boss nothing was done. His name was XXXX the lady that called me a curse word idk her name. Well I explained the situation and they wouldn't even work w me at all. Well I called my attorney and he says that it's AGAINST THE LAW TO SEND A CHECK IN MAIL TO ANYONE THAT DOES NOT APPLY FOR IT. So I'm counting on you guys to help me now.
