Hey Im having a problem with Cosmo credit repair. There very unprofessional and rude and wont return my XXXX they took out of my account. On XX/XX/2018 XXXX XXXX contacted me regarding repairing my credit. He stated the consultation was free and he can get remove everything bad on my credit report within 6 months. I sent him some v personal information by email and 2 weeks later some random guy XXXX XXXX calls me XXXX at night asking me to send document to start credit repair. I told him no I didn't know you and im not sending my personal information because XXXX know you have XXXX XXXX call me in the morning. XXXX XXXX calls me and said he d I didn't receive my documents and I asked him how come he d I didn't let me know 2 weeks ago. He said he didnt have them to send them back and I told him no. I dont want to do business with you because you lost my persodnal informatiom. I gave them XXXX to start and after I told him I didn't want to do the program because their unprofessional the next day they took XXXX out my account. I had to cancel my card and order a new one because I dont want them stealing my money out my account. So I talked to XXXX whos the technical guy and XXXX whos suppose to be the manager. XXXX stated she was going to refund my money but then stated she wouldn't and hung up in my face. On there website it said you get your money back if your not satified. Well I wasn't satified and they still took money out my account and didnt do no services!!!!

I signed up with Cosmo Credit Repair ( XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX, XXXX, TX. XXXX ) in XX/XX/2022. They promised to remove negative items from my credit report got the amount paid. They stated that I had to pay upfront for them to begin filing disputes on my
credit report. Over the last three months, Ive seen no deletions from my credit report as they promised. I requested a refund and was told credit repair takes up to six months to see any actual changes. After going to the CFPB website,
I realized that I was NOT supposed to be charged upfront and that it is illegal for these companies to do so. To this day they have taken over {$1000.00} from my bank account!
After speaking to the representative at CFPB, this complaint is the first step in the process of reporting this company. XXXX XXXX XXXX is now disputing and has put a stop payment on any transactions from this company. Per the representatives instructions, I plan to submit a police report and file a report with the Texas Attorney General and FTC.

XX/XX/2017 -I CONTACTED THE COMPANY TO FIX MY CREDIT. I WAS CHARGED A LARGE DOWN PAYMENT AND MONTHLY PAYMENT FOR 6 MONTHS AND WAS GUARANTEED THAT MY CREDIT SCORE WOULD GO UP IF NOT I WOULD RECEIVE 100 % OF MY INVESTMENT BACK. I HAVE THE EMAIL THAT STATES THAT -TIL THIS DAY THE COMPANY HAS NOT AND THEY ARE GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND.
