Due to the following circumstances, XXXX issues after returning from my XXXX, my wife becoming ill while I was XXXX and being unable to work, delinquent payments from renters on a house my wife owned at the time we were married, and an issue with my x-wife regarding child support, we became behind in our mortgage payments. We initiated discussions with our mortgage company, XXXX XXXX, and sent them a letter on XX/XX/XXXX and an offer for modification on XX/XX/XXXX. No response was received from XXXX and during this time we were contacted by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. We were in the beginning stages of foreclosure. We were contacted by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, who said they could do a loan modification for us and get our mortgage payments lowered to approximately {$120000.00} and their company would be able to negotiate a write off of interest and penalties we occurred with XXXX. We agreed to obtain their services at the beginning of XX/XX/XXXX. Core Advisory sent a notary from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) to our home on XX/XX/XXXX and had me sign a Professional Service agreement. In addition to this the notary collected two payments ; a check written to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$3300.00} dated XX/XX/XXXX and a check written to XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$120.00} dated XX/XX/XXXX. We were contacted on XX/XX/XXXX by XXXX XXXX XXXX from CORE stating they received our signed agreement and our file was forwarded to their Resolution Specialist. Later we noticed that the Service Agreement has XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX listed as our mortgage company when in fact XXXX XXXX was our mortgage company. We were contacted by XXXX XXXX from CORE, ( XXXX, XXXX ) on XX/XX/XXXX and were asked to send a list of documents ( this email is attached ). We complied with this and sent the information back. Prior to our agreement with CORE, our monthly mortgage payment was {$1400.00}. We received an email from CORE on XX/XX/XXXX letting us know that we were approved for a VA loan modification that would start with a 3 month trial payment of {$1600.00} to start on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX sent us the same VA trial payment offer. Please take note that the offer from XXXX was received a month prior to Core 's offer letter. Core Advisory had a location listed in XXXX, UT but we found out later that there actually was no one who worked in this office, their office was located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX we sent a letter to CORE asking the following questions : 1-The payment for the 3 months is higher than my original payment! Is this supposed to be an improvement? 2-This is an open-ended solution that leaves no clue as to the ongoing arrangement. 3-What is the interest rate for the 3 month payments? 4-What is the interest rate once the 3 months are paid? 5-What is the balance that has been negotiated? 6-What are the ongoing payments once the 3 months are paid? This is a copy of COREs response : ANSWERS : 1. It is a solution to save your home. It may not accomplish your wishes but it a solution to take your home out of foreclosure and to start making payments instead Of paying whole delinquency amount at once to reinstate your loan. 2. 3., & 4. You will know your final terms till the end of you trial payment. You must make all of your trial payments on time before they complete the permanent modification. The terms of any final modification will be reflected in the permanent loan modification that will sent to you once you complete the trial payment plan. ( read pg # 3 & 4 ) 5. You are behind since XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX + foreclosure fees, at the end of your trial payments they will put it back in the loan. 6. Most of the time the payments stays the same or decrease a couple $ $ but it will be around the same payment or exactly the same. We have now done research and have found several complaints regarding this company. We also see that they have changed their name several times ( Core Advisory Group LLC, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX ). We have also read information that the owner of the company has gone by several different names. We have learned that they did not have a location in Utah, they had a Utah address but there was no one who worked in that office. We have tried contacting XXXX XXXX and can not get in touch with him. We are now current on our mortgage payments because we had not choice, we couldn't lose our home. Our payment is {$1600.00} per month which is what it was after the month trial period but over {$200.00} more than what is was before we paid CORE. In addition to that, no interest or penalties were negotiated as they said they would be.

in XX/XX/2016 a group named CORE ADVISORY GROUPSVCS, LLC, that I have come to find out since then, has changed their company name 4 times, ue to fraud because off all the complaints on their part in helping innocent consumers. I was told by their manager, XXXX, who solicited ME, that if I paid his fee of {$3900.00} DOLLARS, HE WOULD 1 ) get my mortgage company, XXXX, to remove me from foreclosure, 2 ) that during the time he would help me, I help me I DID NOT NEED TO LEGALLY MAKE MY MORTGAGE PAYMENTS ( luckly I ( luckly I did continue to make my mortgage payments ) 3 ) he would get all bogus fees and add on dollar amounts to my mortgage removed, 4 ) he, LF KNEW himself, he stated TO ME OVER AND OVER AGAIN That he knew AGENTS AT THE at at the STATE AND GOVERMENT LEVEL, THAT he dealt with on a daily basis, that would and that these agencies he knew, would sanction my lender, XXXX, should to remove fees, etc. AND that in a lot of cases, he himself worked, he would either get a get the payments lowered on the mortgage amount or actually cash back for all the XXXX a all mistakes the lender made and did to me. He guaranteed CORE had helped 1000 's of home owners and he w would help me. I paid the money and as soon as he got the 1st installment, I tried to call and see what they were doing and he said, " until I paid the fee of {$3900.00} in full, they would not proceed, as too many people only paid one installment and CORE resolved their mortgage problem and then were stiffed for the remaining balance. He said for immediate results I could and should pay the entire {$3900.00} so he could get started. I could not and had to pay make make installments and after the last {$1100.00} was paid and cashed by Core Advisory I got nothing but the run around, not a returned calls and twice I sent a package containing 77 pages of proof to XXXX and his assoc. XXXX and both times they claimed they never received those papers, even though I had postal receipts of delivery. This is the worst scam company out there and at this time there are both court filings against them and court dates set in XXXX, XXXX, XXXX state, XXXX, etc. The owner XXXX of Core Advisroy has used an alias name ( XXXX ) and is now on the 4th or 5th name change ( ALSO WORKED UNDER COLLEGUES IN LAW, Core Advisory Group, LLC, Svsc, and Core Advisory LLC ) because of all the complaints. In order to shut me up and make me go away, XXXX AWAY, sent me a check for {$2500.00} dollars of the {$3900.00} dollars he took from ME. This was THIS WAS THEIR admission of wrong doing and guilt but Core Advisory ed that {$2500.00} decided that {$2500.00} of the {$3900.00} I paid in full, was good enough to make all their wrongs and scams right. IT IS NOT. I demand they refund to me the remaining {$1400.00} and then and only then I will be satisfied. They now committed fraud and scammed 1000 's of other desperate homeowners. Please help me to get the remaining $ XXXX dollar balance they still owe me for NO SERVICES RENDERED. I AM XXXX YEARS OLD AND THAT MONEY THEY STOLE FROM ME IS A FORTUNE. I work 7 days a week trying to keep my bills paid and my life going, Core did zero to help me in any way to resolve my mortgage problems. Instead, an awesome group, called XXXX @ XXXX GOT MY MORTGAGE REFINANCED AND ALL THE FEES, ETC. REMOVED IN LESS THAN A WEEK AND NEVER TOOK A DIME. I AM REQUESTING THE {$1400.00} DOLLARS BE SENT BACK TO ME, XXXX at my home they swore they had big connections and would get my mortgage refinanced, they did NOTHING.THEY NEVER opened MY 77 PAGES OF PROOF, NOR EVER EVEN SPOKE ONE TIME TO XXXX IN MY BEHALF!!!!! I need and expect and request {$1400.00} remaining dollars they have kept of my hard earned money mailed to me, XXXX at my address of XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX

Hi, my name is XXXX from XXXX, XXXX and I want to say that I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with Core Advisory Group svcs, LLC. From the very start I had my suspicions with this company but XXXX XXXX was very convincing that I was doing the right thing by hiring them but that is not the case. I feel I was misrepresented and lied to. I have been divorced from my ex-husband for over 6 years and was awarded with the deed to my house after my divorce was final and part of the stipulations is that my ex-husband was ordered by our judge to maintain and keep the mortgage payments up to date but recently a year ago, I found out that my ex-husband have n't been paying on the mortgage for almost a year which was a breach to the court order. I ended up finding out when a realtor showed up at my house poking around taking pictures to prepare to foreclose on the property. What enticed me to contact Core Advisory Group is the mail advertisement I received from Core Advisory Group that promised to lower my monthly payments and possible principle reduction. The advertisement also mentioned claims that my lender was in violation and I was eligible to sue them so that was very appealing so I called this company to see what they can do to help me. After I had agreed to sign up for their services, they would send a notary person to my house to sign paperwork which I paid separately to the notary company name XXXX, which by the way this notary person did not stamped the notary seal in front of me but just collected the signed documents and a check that I wrote out to this notary company XXXX XXXX for {$160.00}. I also had to send a separate check for the loan modification service that Core Advisory Group was to provide to me in the amount of {$3600.00} upfront so in total I had paid upfront almost {$4000.00} to get help with my mortgage. A week after I have already issued them my money, I did some research and found some disturbing information about them that made me very uncomfortable and felt, they have n't been honest or forthright with me from the very beginning so I contacted them to stop the service and return my money. The owner XXXX XXXX who later I have found out is just an alias and the owner 's real name is XXXX XXXX and XXXX search shows him owning another company in the past by the name of XXXX which had legal issues with the State of XXXX. Well the owner called me along with his representative XXXX XXXX and the conversation with the both of them was even more disturbing as they refused to honor my request for a refund as I pointed out to them that it was illegal for them to charge me upfront to help me with my mortgage, the both of them claimed that they are licensed to offer services in my state but that is not the case since their headquarter stated is in the same city and state that I currently reside in has no physical office as they claim they do. I might have been desperate at one point in trying to save my house is the reason I decided to hire them in the first place, but once I 've found out that this company has lied to me and mislead me into thinking they are legitimate and can help me with my mortgage I tried to contact them multiple times with no success to talk to them and get my money back to only have to wait almost 2 weeks before they decided to contact me again. I just want my money back in the amount of {$3600.00} which included {$160.00} towards the bogus notary person and I am not going to be their victim in this fraudulent mortgage relief scam.

To whom it may concern, My name is XXXX, I have been scammed by this company Core Advisory Group who promised me that they can help me stop my foreclosure which was scheduled for XXXX XXXX, 2016 and the property went into auction on XXXX XXXX, 2016. Prior to contacting them initially, I received a very promising mail postcard that stated, they can stop/postpone my foreclosure and that I am eligible to a be plaintiff to file a federal lawsuit against my lender XXXX XXXX, and they can reduce my interest rate down to 2 % plus and also be awarded for monetary damages. I called their toll free number and spoke with XXXX XXXX who had explained to me the process so I signed up with this company back on XXXX XXXX, 2016. I paid this company a total of {$2200.00} which included a {$120.00} for their notary service. Everything that they had advertised was all lies and deceit to get me to call them. They promotion about their XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX where they file complaints against banks to force these banks to give better negotiation terms and stop/postpone foreclosures are n't true. I feel this company have misled me into thinking they can help me but it turns out they ca n't and there was a new change that went into effect on XXXX XXXX, 2016 with my FHA loan that made it impossible for me apply for a loan modification because I am too severely past due, this is something this company should had known from the beginning but they still took my money. This company should have never taken my money upfront if they knew they could n't help people like me. I want my money back. Their program is grossly misleading and now I am out of {$2200.00} plus my home has already been auctioned off. I could had used that money for my moving expenses or hired someone else who knew what the XXXX they were doing but I fell for their promises that they ca n't deliver, and their final attempt to help me was to have me file for bankruptcy or convert me into their eviction defense program which is another way to convince me to allow them to keep my money. After my house was sold on XXXX XXXX, 2016, this company with no sympathy to my pain and embarrassment that I am about to face, went ahead and deposited my check of {$740.00} on XXXX XXXX, 2016. According to the FTC ( XXXX ) rule this company has collected illegally fees upfront before providing me any relief with my mortgage. I hope this is a lesson learned for them to stop this kind of illegal practices and giving people false hopes by lying to them so they can take people 's money that is criminal. I did cancelled with them and asked for my refund but they only offered me {$450.00} out of the {$2200.00} I had already paid them. In desperation I agreed to the amount but they still have n't refunded that amount and its more than 45 days now. This company is a scam and should be shut down.

I would like to report this company Core Advisory Group XXXX, LLC out in California has scammed me out of {$2200.00}. My property just got foreclosed on so I contacted Core Advisory to seek help to see if they can reverse the sale of my home. I spoke with XXXX XXXX who promised me the world to convince me hire them. I had explained to XXXX XXXX XXXX that the lender had offered me a " cash for keys '' settlement of {$2000.00} if I agree to move on within 30 days. XXXX XXXX XXXX informed me that he can get me a better larger offer and the way they will do this is by filing complaints with the government agencies to force my lender to give me a better " cash for keys '' offer than {$2000.00}. He also told me the complaints can also force them to get me into a rental agreement where I can just lease the property and not have to move out. For me to do this it would cost me {$1600.00} upfront and {$500.00} per month for the next XXXX installments. So I signed up with them on XXXX/XXXX/2016 and paid Core {$1600.00} upfront. After I paid them, the only communications I got was from their paralegal XXXX who advised me to file for a Chapter XXXX bankruptcy and stated that is the only way to buy some time. So she went ahead and prepared the bankruptcy papers for me and provided me instructions on where to file the bankruptcy petitions. I am disappointed to learn later that the bankruptcy I had did little to any effect as it only delayed my eviction for only a few weeks and I ended up receiving a notice from the XXXX stating " writ of possession '' and I will have to vacate in 30 days. Not once during this whole process did I see them file any complaints on my behalf to my lender and no negotiations with my bank ever took place. It was all a lie and a scheme to get me to pay them upfront to get no where and to make the sitatution worst, the offer from my lender of {$2000.00} to relocate has now been taken off the table so not only did I ended up having to fork up over {$2100.00} in thinking I would get a better cash for keys offer and now I 've lost the {$2000.00} offer that my bank originally offered me to move out. This is a scam. I want my money back in full. They ruin everything for me. I was also advised that I was given legal advice to file bankruptcy from a non-licensed attorney so they also was practicing law without a license. This company needs to be shut down. I later went onto their website to find the address, and they have taken down their website. There is no contact number but a messge stating they will no longer take new businesses. Now that is just proof that they are just out to scam people and disappear on them. I hope you will find this guy and put him away for good. Please help me get my {$2200.00} I paid to them, they did nothing to deserve that.

Hi my name is XXXX and I made initial contact with Core Advisory Group back on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I received a letter in the mail stating that they could help me reduce my payment and stop my foreclosure. I was told that their lender dispute program would stop my foreclosure and force my mortgage company to modify my loan. They promised me my situation that they could stop ay foreclosure procedures and my loan modify and payments lowered but that is by far the truth. I sent them all my information and they told me my loan modification package has been submitted and now I just need to wait for a final answer. I received a letter from my mortgage company in XXXX XXXX saying my loan modification had been denied. This company knew I would n't qualify and I have told them before hiring them that I was denied in the past for not having enough income and now they tell me I needed to show {$1000.00} more to qualify? Should n't they known this before taking my {$4500.00} that I paid them just to tell me the same answer that my lender told me which I do n't qualify for a loan modification! They told me they are redoing my information and resubmitting it but at this point, I ca n't take my chances with them as I lost faith in this company so I demanded my money back. After that they made me fill out this package in order to get my refund and this at the beginning of XXXX XXXX and it took them until XXXX XXXX just to offer me {$350.00} back?? This company is a joke, a scam and they need to be shutdown. I want my money back the full amount. They have illegally taken my money upfront which is a violation to the XXXX rule and they still did it and provided no results. How insulting is that they did n't know whether they can help me but lied they can but ca n't and take {$4500.00} and at the end offer to pay back only {$350.00}? I hope and pray the authorities lock these crooks up. To make matters worse, I had found out that the owner XXXX XXXX of Core Advisory Group is the same guy that owned Colleagues in Law that he got rid of which does the same thing offering loan modification service. What did this guy just XXXX everyone, take their money and change company name and nothing happens to him? He needs to be in jail. Please help me get my money back from this clown.

I contacted Core Advisory Group last XX/XX/XXXX to seek help with my mortgage situation. After being denied for a loan modification by my lender XXXX I was in desperate need for some help in order to save my house, so I sought help with a company name Core Advisory Group. They had sent me a mail advertisement that read XXXX and my loan was eligible for a payment reduction and interest rate to be as low as 2 % and also mentioned that I was a plaintiff against my lender for a lawsuit. Also the advertisement states, they can stop my foreclosure with their XXXX XXXX XXXX so I gave it another shot and reached out to the company to see how they can help me. After speaking with XXXX of their sales representative XXXX assured me that I have a strong case to file a complaint against my lender with federal agencies and government officials and this will force my lender to stop any foreclosure proceedings and get my bank to negotiate a new loan modification plan for me. They wanted me to pay a total of {$4300.00} all up front but I only can do a portion of that in payment plans so they agreed and I paid them {$1700.00} which my check was deposited into their XXXX account on XX/XX/XXXX. What frustrates me is that when they told me they had spoken to my lender XXXX, my lender told them that the reason I was n't qualified for a loan modification is because I did not make enough money to qualify and I already knew this. I wish if I had known sooner that this company preys on peoples vulnerabilities and will do anything to make you feel like there is hope for some help and as soon as you send them your money and you find out they were n't living up to their expectations, they will fight you to the very end to keep your money and that is what is happening to me right now. I have been misled and lied to. If it was n't for their deceptive advertisement to get me to call them, I would n't be out of {$1700.00} which I had to borrow from friends to help me out so not only did I lose that money to them, I am now in debt with my friend. I just want my money back and these people should be ashamed of themselves for doing this to people who really needs help.

I received a very official looking sealed letter that said final attempt and when I opened it, I was informed that I might qualify for a very low interest rate and to contact the phone number provided. So I called them approx XXXX XXXX and talked to XXXX from Core Advisory who ask me a few questions and then told me he would get back to me within 24 hours to see if I qualify. The next day he called to inform me that I qualified and that they have 100 % success rate against XXXX. That they would be able to get me into a 40 year 2 % and help me get my divorced wife off of the note. They would take either XXXX payment of {$4000.00} or XXXX payments broken up into {$2800.00} + {$1900.00}. I checked out their website and listened to many of the testimonials on that site, and was sold on their services. I agreed to have a notary come to my house on XXXX XXXX to sign paperwork explaining that they would get started right away and that it would be faster and cheaper to pay the full {$4000.00} up front. Plus a {$160.00} notary signing fee. I was told that they could stop my pending foreclosure on XXXX XXXX, within XXXX to XXXX weeks after I sign the contract. I received a call and email was ask for my XXXX account number a week later by phone, I was told by XXXX that she should be getting paperwork back from XXXX within a week. While XXXX weeks went by I found out that there is all kinds of free help online and that Core Advisory is not licensed XXXX, along with all kinds of complaints and even a judgement XXXX. Then I researched even more and found out that it is illegal to take fee to restructure or modify a loan. This prompted me to request a refund and after several requests they finally understood I did not want to be sold on using their services any longer. Then they sent me paperwork for supposedly requesting my money back but it listed a company whos registration had expired. This prompted me to file this complaint, as I can see by the wording of the document and the complaints I have read about Core Advisory group services. They are not a legitimate company and do not have the proper credentials to help me with my situation.

I am requesting a full refund of my deposit of {$1900.00}. Before enrolling into this program, I was told that I had to be approved for the program after a review XXXX XXXX records on my home : XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, GA XXXX. I faxed XXXX XXXX my mortgage account information and loan modification denial letter and he informed me that 24 hours was needed for Core Advisory Group to review to see if I would qualify for the program. I informed XXXX that my loan modification denial was due to the LTV ratio on my home is not & gt ; 80 %. On XXXX/XXXX/16 I was informed via email the following information : Your XXXX record has been reviewed by our discovery assessment department for eligibility and you have been approved for enrollment in the LDR government complaint case program. The LDR program opens state and federal complaints with the federal regulatory agencies that govern your mortgage lender. The LDR complaint process forces a fair and transparent negotiation at the executive level with your lender, resulting in reinstatement of your loan with a fixed interest rate and payment you can afford based on your financials today. XXXX informed me that Core Advisory Group did not file the standard load modification paperwork where financials were submitted to the lender but used government complaints to force the lender to modify the mortgage. I discussed the reservations I had about enrolling into the program because I had already been working with a foreclosure prevention company on a loan modification and I had already been denied for that loan modification. In addition, a complaint was already filed with XXXX 's executive management team regarding the denial. The complaint was still in review at that time. XXXX reassured me that your program was different and that since I was approved for the program, I was guaranteed that I would not lose my home and that my mortgage would be modified although he could not guarantee what my new modified mortgage payment would be.

I want to report to you that this company preys on homeowners by making false promises through their deceptive advertisement that they had sent to me. I thought I was a plaintiff for a lawsuit to be filed against my bank and the mail ad said my new interest rate will be 2 %. I called in to find out more information about this so when I spoke to them back in XXXX XXXX, XXXX I had told them specifically that I already applied for a loan modification and still waiting for an answer. Core advisory group told me that they are not a loan modification company and that they can help me get a better result by filing complaints against my bank. I asked them what will happen afterwards and they told me that getting the complaints open will automatically force my bank to give me a better loan modification term and I will be a better position if I have professional help so they can go after the bank to eliminate all the late fees and penalties and also reduce my principle balance. This sounded good at first, so I agreed to sign their paperwork and paid them {$3500.00} upfront plus {$120.00} for their notary service. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX my bank finally responded to my original application for a loan modification and I was approved. Core did nothing for me but draft complaints to be filed with CFPB. This is a pure scam and tricky way for them to lure people in, thinking they can do this and do that but really just take your money. I filed a complaint to them to return my money and out of {$3600.00} dollars I paid them they were only willing to give me back {$1700.00}. I believe I am entitled to the rest my money paid to them {$1800.00} based on FTC XXXX rule makes it illegal for any company that provides mortgage assistance to charge me fees in advance and that is what they did. I want my money back.

This company is a complete scam, as soon as they cashed the cashier check I sent to them for {$3600.00} on XXXX/XXXX/2016 the very next day I asked them to return my money because I was n't confident they can stop my sheriff sale on time which was set for XXXX/XXXX/2016. When I contacted Core Advisory Group back in XXXX/XXXX/2016 and what made me decided to call them in the first place is the mail advertisement they had sent me saying that I am a plaintiff for a lawsuit against my lender and that they can lower my mortgage payments and stop my foreclosure so I called their XXXX # and I spoke with XXXX XXXX who told me that I had a strong case for them to take on. I even disclosed to her that I am currently in a chapter XXXX bankruptcy and there is also a sheriff sale date on XXXX/XXXX/2016 but she promised me that they can still stop the sheriff sale so I agreed to give them a shot. Once they received my money they referred me to a lady in the name of XXXX which handles bankruptcy and XXXX told me nothing can be done because I am already in a Chapter XXXX and it can not be converted into a chapter XXXX. I told everyone this at the beginning already and they still took my money so I told them on XXXX/XXXX/2016 I want to cancel and my money back. I ended up losing my house because of their false promises and lies that wasted my time and money when I could had used that money to hire someone else to help me. This is a scam and they need to be stopped. I want my money back. I paid these people upfront before they did anything for me. Now I lost not only my house but my money and it is not right that they are allowed to stay in business and prey on people like me. They did not do provide any service for me and they are refusing to give my money back. I need your help!!!!

Our house was going to be sold at a foreclosure auction. The deception was a XXXX violation. This form is actually a " resubmittal '' from a previous submission. I was advised to factor in all of the monies I am out related to this. My husband and I hired the Core Advisory Group, we paid {$1900.00} up front plus a {$160.00} notary fee separately to US Signings who happens to be the same owner of Core Advisory Group, XXXX XXXX so he milked us on top of the regular fees to add his separate notary fees. In addition to these fees, we also paid {$68.00} for documents to be sent same day to three different entities ( {$22.00} XXXX ), {$150.00} to a paralegal to draw up paperwork for a bankruptcy petition, and {$77.00} for the filing of this petition. There was no mention of additional fees for sending mail and filing a bankruptcy petition ( we were blindsided by this ) and the fee for the paralegal was also deceptive to my understanding as we filed under pro se status. We were given legal advice and instructed to file a chapter XXXX by this paralegal when only a licensed attorney is allow to provide legal advice so that is another violation to the bankruptcy code of conduct. The bulk of the money was paid via check although the paralegal requested I put money directly into her account ( which was actually her daughter 's account because the bank she uses " does not have a branch in your area '' ) and the bankruptcy court would only accept a cashier 's check or money order as payment. The fee for mailing the documents was paid via debit card at the USPS station. This company does not follow the laws & regulations and uses deceptive marketing and sales tactics to lure people like us in. If necessary I have all receipts or documentation for money paid if needed.

I was scammed by Core Advisory Group called them back in XX/XX/XXXX when I received their mail advertisement stating I can get help with stopping my foreclosure sale which was scheduled for XX/XX/XXXX. The advertisement is all bunch of lies, telling me I can get a lower monthly payment, interest rates at 2 % and I was a eligible to be a plaintiff to file a lawsuit against my lender and plus their XXXX program can stop any foreclosure process. They are full of XXXX and nothing but thieves that did nothing for me but lie and stole my money. I signed up with this company on XX/XX/XXXX. They sent out a notary person to have me sign their documents and collect my money. After I paid this company a total of {$3600.00}, my house was immediately sold and they did not do what they said they would do to save my house and I want my money back. This is a complete scam. Around XX/XX/XXXX, I tried to ask for my refund but they make me go through their reconciliation process and fill out more paperwork just for my money back and they did n't even responded back with a refund offer until XX/XX/XXXX almost 5 months waiting for an answer just for them to tell me they are only giving me back {$720.00}. These crooks should be locked away for doing this to people. They did not do what they said they would do and that 's to stop my auction from happening to my house and get me a loan modification approval. This company also tried to get me to file for bankruptcy which I do not understand why would I pay them {$3600.00} for nothing when I could had used that money to hire a real lawyer? I feel they do not deserve a penny and I want them to return the rest of the money that I paid them {$2800.00} plus notary fees of {$120.00} so the total {$3000.00}.

This company is a scam, I knew I should have never trusted them but they talk a good talk and took my money and did nothing. I paid them over {$3200.00} because they had promised me they will be able to save my house. I told them that I was already denied a loan modification but they insist their program is different and they get complaints open with government officials to force my lender to agree to reinstate my loan and restructure the loan to a more affordable term, which was a lie. After that fail even tried to tell me to file for bankruptcy and referred me to some lady name XXXX who advised me to file chapter 13 but could n't because I had filed too many times already so I do not understand why they would take my money and offer to file bankruptcy for me, that is not what they advertise. I almost lost my house because of them. I tried asking them for my money back in XX/XX/2016 and they took more than 4 months just to offer me a refund of {$320.00}??? All they did was file a complaint which I could have done myself, this a complete scam. I do not believe it is worth {$3000.00} to file a complaint to help me secure a loan modification. They are nothing but scam artists and they need to be stopped. According to the FTC MARS rules, it is illegal for them to collect my fees upfront but they claim they do not have to follow that law. I just want my money back since they did nothing they had promised. I refused to accept their offer to just return only {$320.00} out of the {$3200.00} I had paid them not to mention additional out of pocket expense of {$120.00} to use their notary service. So total I paid for help through them is {$3300.00}.

I had contacted Core Advisory about my mortgage situation about 6 months ago. At the time, I did n't have the money to start the process as I did n't know that this company was not suppose to charge me. I then get a foreclosure sale date 4 months later and I had the funds to begin the process. Core Advisory promised me that they will " stop '' the foreclosure and force the mortgage company to give me a loan modification. I gave them {$1600.00} up front {$1500.00} for the comapny and {$120.00} for the notary that came to my home so that I can sign some papers. I also, gave the notary for Core Advisory XXXX post dated checks for XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I did stop the one for XXXX as my suspicions were evident. A case manager was assigned to me in which he drafted some letters for me to send via certified mail to be sent to the mortgage company, HUD, and the the local congressman. I was then assigned a " trustee agent '' in which he told me that he would investigate XXXX. He called me and told me that he was putting me on XXXX way so that I could authorize him to speak to XXXX on my behalf. The sale date was getting close and he told me if it comes to it to file for bankruptcy with a " lady '' he knows that would help me with this. Well, that day before the sale, I was on XXXX way again with him and XXXX and found out that XXXX 's paperwork was n't right and the sale date was until the following month. I tried contacting the trustee and he did answer after 2 days and when I told him that I wanted to file for bankruptcy, he said " no '' it 's better to wait. I tried contacting Core and all I get is a voicemail.

We were served foreclosure papers and decided to call the XXXX from Core Advisory 's mail advertisement. The advertisement looked very promising as it states our new payment would be reduced down to a 2 % rate. The advertisement also stated that I am eligible to be a plaintiff to sue my lender so when I called, the conversation I had with XXXX XXXX was did not align with what the advertisement states however I was presented with another option to file complaint against my lender and XXXX informed me that will force my lender to negotiate better loan modification terms. After I paid them upfront {$2200.00} and additional {$120.00} separately to use their notary service, I got an interview with a gentlemen name XXXX XXXX he put together XXXX complaint letters to be sent off to my lender XXXX, US XXXX and my XXXX however after reading the complaint that was put together on my behalf was fabricated or inconsistent to what actually happened. I was better off writing this myself and felt if that was the case, why am I paying these guys over {$2200.00} just to write me XXXX XXXX half page complaints that is n't even factual? Another concern I have with this company is that they sent me a loan modification package and asked me to complete and as well as pay them another {$1800.00} to get the modification application submitted. This is illegal and violates not only the Wisconsin consumer protection act but also the FTC ( XXXX ) rules. I feel this company has taken advantage of me and I would like for them to return my money back as they failed to help me with my mortgage and securing me a loan modification.

I hired this company because they contacted me making promises that they could help me by filing info with federal agencies by filing complaints on my behalf but never did file anything for me and never did anything to assist me after receiving my money. They advertise they can save my house, get government to go after the lender and get me a modification. They did not do anything as advertised. I paid them upfront {$1500.00} + {$120.00} to use their notary service and after that I never got anything. I had to file for a short sale to stop the sale date on my property. Shortly after I contacted them after no responce to inform them that i had not received anything from them to verify what they have done and I was then sent some bogus information from them. At that point I was then informed that they would not be sending the information out but i would have to send the information and that they only would provide documents for me to send. I then requested that they cancel the contract and refund my money. I was then informed that they sent me a link to do so and they needed something in writing, so i drafted a letter and sent it to them and requested a refund but i have not received a response. This company is a scam and I would not recommend that anyone hires them to assist them with help to retain their mortgage. Please assist me with getting a refund from these XXXX and help me to put the lying scam XXXX in jail!!!!

All my credit card closed due to backruptcy scheme that they practice through a third part. All i got from them was a bunch of broken promises, lot of lies, unaswered and unreturned calls, bad credit, stress and a huge financial lost and I sill lost my house. Core advisory Group had cease and desist order in Texas where i live at the time of signing and should not have collected money up front for these type of service. In XXXX of 2015 I received a letter from CORE ADVISORY GROUP saying they could help me with my mortgage. they offered a huge principal reduction of XXXX and a decrease in monthly payments as low as XXXX . Their fee was XXXX . I had about 20 days until my next court date to prevent a default judgement and a sale date on my home. I paid the money to CORE. CORE then connected me with another person to help writing letters on my behalf to the bank. The bank offered me a modification with no principle reduction and no huge monthly low rate as advertised. I contacted CORE and was told since I was offered a modification their job was done. I talked with XXXX , XXXX , and XXXX XXXX . CORE never showed up in court as promised on the phone. They stopped taking my calls. CORE misrepresented their sevice s. CORE ADVISORY GROUP is a fraud. I am still seeking help.

Core Advisory, XXXX XXXX and his company and staff took {$3900.00} to work on my behalf to get my home out of foreclosure, reduce all the add Rd fees and get me a new loan modification. Core Advisory Group did nothing to help me and lied and as soon as they got all of my money never returned calls, or did a single thing to help me. The company actually told me " I was a difficult client '' and they would have a meeting to decide if they would continue to even deal with me. XXXX told me he 'd call me back with a d vision and BEVER again called me or answered my many calls or emails!!! This is a very bad, crooked company. DO NOT believe a single word they tell you. Once they sent a notary to my home to get my {$3900.00} dollars, they quit even taking my calls

When I learned that my house was in foreclosure I was contacted through the mail by Core Advisory Group. I called them and they informed me that after doing an evaluation that they can help me save my home. They said the total cost for their services would be {$4400.00}. I gave them {$2000.00} on. XX/XX/XXXX15, {$400.00} on XX/XX/XXXX15, and {$100.00} on XX/XX/XXXX15 totalling {$2500.00}. The end results was my house was foreclosed on and Core Advisory Group never fulfilled their end of my contract agreement. And afterwards did n't return any of my phone calls! Therefore, I am requesting and believe I am entitled to a full refund. Due to their breach of contract regarding my case.
