This letter constitutes a formal complaint against Encore Receivable Management Inc. for intent to report inaccurate and incomplete information on my credit report on any bureau. While I do take under consideration that mistakes happen, inaccurate information could cost me higher interest rates as a result of their negligence. Encore does not have my permission to advertise against me on any credit bureau organization.
Furthermore, I hereby deny consent for you ( Encore Receivable Management Inc. ) to contact me in any manner other than by certified letters to my address. Do not call, email, text message, visit my home or contact any of my friends, neighbors, co-workers or family members in an attempt to acquire any type of information on my person. I am also demanding that you delete my account from your records within the next 30 days as I do not have a contract with you. The FCRA requires that a creditor be able to verify the written authorization of the consumer giving the creditor permission to review their credit. If you ( Encore Receivable Management Inc. ) can provide a copy of a credit application authorizing the disclosure of my credit files with my wet signature on it, only then will I accept your inquiry. Otherwise you will have to remove any negative remarks made on my credit files.
This dispute letter is being sent in the allotted 30-day timeframe as specified in your initial contact letter. You now have 30 days to comply with your proof of claim and gather any evidence, including any signed wet signature contracts between both parties and/or any court order expedited against me. You must present me with certified copies of each ( if any ) of those documents exist. If you do not contact me within the next 30 days I will assume all my demands have been met. Should there be any questions on procedure please refer to the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Procedure in case of disputed accuracy [ 15 U.S.C. 1681i ] 611 - 15 U.S.C. 1681i Please mail me a copy of the signed application/letter indicating your intent in removing any negative remarks on my credit within 30 days.

The number listed above is my work number, I receive XXXX calls a day from this company, 7 days a week ; they do not leave a message. They also call my cell phone, XXXX, XXXX times a day. The calls start about XXXX XXXX and end around XXXX XXXX. They never leave a message. I called the number from my cell once and got a person with a heavy accent that was difficult to understand. They wanted my information to verify who I was but would not tell me their name or their company name until I gave them my personal information and I would not do that. I XXXX and found that the number they are calling from belongs to XXXX XXXX XXXX and found that they have several locations. I am going through a difficult time and behind with many of my payments because of medical reasons but I am looking into alternative solutions to try and get myself back on track with my payments.

This Encore company has called me at least 4 times a day nearly everyday, including Sundays and Saturdays, as early as XXXX XXXX. They will all and hang up as soon as I answer, or they will go to voicemail and leave no voicemail. When I call back sometimes they hang up on me when I demand more information from them, since they are asking me for my information. The calls are 100 % harassment and I have already asked them multiple times to only correspond with me via standard mail, as my job requires me to wear PPE which I must remove every time I get a call. They are impeding my ability to perform at work and to rest at home. Totally predatory and non helpful, this is not the first time this company has been in trouble for this.

I have asked numerous times not to be contacted by Encore and that they only communicate with me via US Mail. The company is contacting me several times a day via a Robo dialer. When I answer the phone they often hang up on you. The calls are originating from a call center in XXXX. I keep being told they will no longer contact me on my company cell phone but they still do. The debt collector often states they are on a recorded line but will not identify themselves until they try and verify all the personal information. I told them they were not authorized to contact this number.

I was recently assigned a phone number on a new line of service.
This line is receiving more then 6 calls per 24 hour period, including calls outside of reasonable hours. All calls are from the same incoming telephone number.
I have called the collector back and advised that this is a newly assigned telephone number, and I am not the person they are attempting to reach.
The company refused to identify what company they are, and has continued to call after my request that they discontinue and are reaching the wrong person.

I am working with an attorney to file for bankruptcy . Encore Receivable Management ( XXXX ) keeps calling me, and will not stop calling me. They start calling me at XXXX and call me every hour on the hour throughout the day. Then they start the next day at XXXX and call me every hour on the hour throughout the day. This has been going on for more than a month now. I can not do anything about it. I have asked them not to call but they keep calling anyway. It is totally ridiculous. Please help me stop their calls.

I am not sure of the exact date but it was about 2 weeks ago. Convergys ( collecting for XXXX ) called my father and after he told them that he was not me they still continued to verify sensitive information like my social security number. I had set up a payment plan but fell behind because they told be that it would n't hit my credit report if I paid ( they told my wife ) something monthly but it did. This company is horrible and I feel my rights were violated because they gave my sensitive information out.

They call constantly, but now they are texting me saying they are 'on their way, ' like a threat. They, Encore Receivables, did not disclose who they were ( I only know from googling their number ). I have spoken with the original creditor, XXXX XXXX now XXXX XXXX, several times, and have been making payments. Encore Receivable Management has been contacted three times in writing and twice by phone to cease communication except by mail. They continue to do so, repeatedly, sometimes as soon as fifteen minutes after contacting them by phone. Have asked for verification according to FDCPA rules and have received nothing except a blank itemized paper ( you owe us $ xxx amount ).
