I 'm reaching out to you because of the damaging, deceitfull manner my fiance and I were treated. We have sufferred much XXXX and XXXX due to gross misrepresentation, incompetence and purposeful negletience. We do not have the funds to hire an attorney. We need your help. When my finace and I first started looking for a house, the real estate agent who handled XXXX , a particular property we were initially interested in, XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX , PA, STRONGLY recommended his crony, XXXX XXXX , of Contour Mortgage. I had the option of using my bank, XXXX , but XXXX made very negative comments about XXXX . I surmised as long as the mortgage is funded, and we were happy with the terms, etc., it didnt really matter to us. My finace and I started house shopping in the XXXX / XXXX area, as it is USDA mortgage eligible and we are also familiar and comfortable there. My finace found a house she " loved. '' XX/XX/XXXX : I was pre-approved, informed by XXXX it was '' slam dunk ''. At the XXXX XXXX real estate offices, we signed the standard real esate disclosures, and PAID {$2000.00} to the seller in 2 increments. We set up the purchase of 3 inspections. ( {$630.00} ). I signed the mortgage documentation as well. The next step is when the gross incompetence and hurtful/damaging processes began. 4-5 weeks after the initial real estate signings, the appraisal was finally ordered by Contour Mortgage. ( Cost was $ XXXX -I had to repeatedly ask contour when is the appraisal being ordered ). We were asked to repeatedly sign the same mortgage documentation and repeatedly asked to provide the same income verification. We provided all documentation Contour asked for in a very timely manner. ( They even complimented our expediancy ). The first settlement date was XX/XX/XXXX . We were unable to make settlement as Contour was not able to fund. Settlement was postponed to XX/XX/XXXX . On Friday, XX/XX/XXXX , XXXX informed me of the probable ineligibility of the property for a USDA mortgage, saying " they must have FHA approval as well ''. As per XXXX XXXX instructions, my fiance also had to drive to the HOA office, ( XXXX to XXXX ), and give them a check for {$75.00} to release the proper questionairre. The mortgage broker and the real estate agent began to blame the HOA for the inability to make settlement.The mortgage and real estate broker accused the HOA of never repsonding for 3 weeks. The HOA person was VERY helpful and forthright to my finace. ( We were able to communicate and establish contact with the HOA person within 24 hours ). The HOA person said the real estate agent and the mortgage broker never sent the proper requests, etc., and never responded to her requests. The HOA representative was also sent an FHA questionairre from Contour being told by Contour that USDA accepts a different questionairre. Contour mortgage was NOT able to make settlement XX/XX/XXXX .On XX/XX/XXXX , I called XXXX XXXX of Contour mortgage. XXXX told me he is the regional director for Contour. XXXX informed me " 90 % of USDA approved properties are also FHA approved, and this is one of the exceptions and he assured me he/Contour will move forwards ''. ( From XX/XX/XXXX , ALL invloved parties knew this property was NOT FHA eligible but WAS USDA eligilble ). XX/XX/XXXX : Our real estate agent " postponed '' settelement for XX/XX/XXXX . On XX/XX/XXXX , XXXX XXXX texted me informing that " contour has informed him they can now submitt to USDA ''. I again called XXXX XXXX who informed me he will " check into and get back to me ''. He never did. ( Unrelated to my dealings with contour XXXX XXXX , I later discovered XXXX was acquitted in a civil suit for mortgage fraud in XXXX : XXXX XXXX et al civil action # XXXX ). XX/XX/XXXX : XXXX emails me stating the settlement that was scheduled for XX/XX/XXXX is postponed. " USDA is too busy and ca n't get the loan out yet '' The seller 's agent asked for another {$1000.00} for good faith and to cover fees they have to pay. I told XXXX XXXX that I am not responsible for the delays and will not pay another dime. XXXX said ok and he 'll get another extension for us and the seller to sign. XXXX extends settlement till XX/XX/XXXX . I acknowledge and digitally ok the extension. XX/XX/XXXX : The full realization of what has transpired hits me hard. My rate lock expires XX/XX/XXXX . I am contractually bound till XX/XX/XXXX . Contour/ XXXX can use any rate they want as I now have no control over my payments, rate, etc. XX/XX/XXXX Settlement is postponed for the FIFTH time till XX/XX/XXXX ( Tues ). I sign the closing disclosures for contour mortgage. The rate is the same as we agreed upon with an origination fee of .28 %. ( At the time of my early conversations with siriaani, the rates were still low enough so that we agreed, " make some yield spread, no origination '' ). XX/XX/XXXX I call and have a conversation with the USDA underwriter, XXXX XXXX . He informs me they received the loan package " THAT MORNING ''. He informs me " I can go with any lender I like ''. Almost 90 days after the whole process started, contour gets the loan package to USDA. My USDA approval takes about 2 hours. My understanding is that is exceptionally quick. XX/XX/XXXX -We make settlement. The mortgage payments were lower than XXXX and I anticipated due to contour finally utilizing USDA benefits and guidelines. Contour may " carry '' the 1st couple of mortgage payments-I fear retribution with this letter ). ( Contour had little or no experience with USDA. I suspect they did not want to honor the rate-terms they had given me. Or had problems selling our loan at acceptable profit to them. Obviously, XXXX had VERY little knowledge of USDA. XXXX /Contour willfully/purposely delayed settlement waiting for either the buyer or seller to become disgusted and back out of the deal, or offer me a mortagage at a higher rate when the original lock expired. Obviously, Contour has ALL of our financial information and felt I could/would not be able to hire an attorney. Abusive, willfull neglect of any and all fiduciary responsibilities. My fiance XXXX and I had to spend an additional {$170.00} in utility charges remaining in our apartment. We had to pay {$930.00} in additonal rent, ( 1 month ). We lost labor help from XXXX 's family as people had to get on with their lives ( I hired out side labor to assist with the move, {$340.00} ). THANK XXXX , the property managment company we were renting from, XXXX XXXX , was so gracious and understanding. PLEASE BE AWARE, PEOPLE LIKE XXXX WILL CONTINUE TO ORIGINATE MORTGAGES IN SOMEONE ELSES NAME IF NEED BE. Even as the delays kept mounting, XXXX showed a sociopathic attitude. " well, your almost rid of me ''. XXXX and I sincerely wish XXXX and XXXX can not do business and harm other innocent customers. We need your help.

XX/XX/XXXX My husband and I were attempting to refinance our mortgage Through Contour Mortgage Corporation. Our Senior Loan Officer name was XXXX XXXX, person documents were going to was XXXX XXXX The manager name is XXXX XXXX. We submitting our paperwork electronically through the bank 's app and faxing because some of the documents had to be printed and signed. XX/XX/XXXX Received a text message on my cellphone that they received the documents. XX/XX/XXXX Received a text message that they were preparing the file for the underwriter. XX/XX/XXXX Received a text message that they submitted the loan to the underwriter. When we signed the documents on XX/XX/XXXX we signed for appraisal of our property @ {$600.00} to be charged to my XXXX XXXX credit card. On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email with wanting us to sign another document for the appraisal, so I text XXXX XXXX explaining I received the email and that I already signed and sent the document back to them. He replied by text on XX/XX/XXXX it is an auto email that goes out and that we will receive another one that says completed and that he wish it was a better system on the appraisal network process and not to worry his processor will take care of it. XX/XX/XXXX I sent a text to XXXX XXXX because our Credit Card was charged {$750.00} instead of the {$600.00} we signed for. XXXX XXXX responded by text saying thats not right and he will address the issue. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX texted stating the difference is being credited back to your card that there was increase in appraisal fee for our area which will be included in the loan. Our appraisal appointment was set up for XX/XX/XXXX and the appraiser would send the report to the bank by the end on week. On XX/XX/XXXX Received a text message from XXXX XXXX that the appraisal was being reviewed for Quality Control should be released to him by Wednesday. Had heard anything until XX/XX/XXXX received an email from XXXX XXXX with an attachment that our loan was denied because our credit history. On XX/XX/XXXX Responded to email asking why our loan application would deny now over our credit history after we went through the appraisal process. I also text XXXX XXXX the same question on XX/XX/XXXX No response back from either one. On XX/XX/XXXX email XXXX XXXX again requesting answer from my question I submitted on XX/XX/XXXX, also sent a text to XXXX XXXX. Didn't received a response from my email, but XXXX XXXX text stated he would call in the morning, never received a call back. On XX/XX/XXXX Text XXXX XXXX stating you were suppose to call and haven't heard from. On XX/XX/XXXX I texted XXXX XXXX that i am not receiving the answers. This shouldn't of happened that they did an appraisal and we were charged and then denied due to our credit history, this shouldn't of happen and I am requesting a refund of our appraisal fee of XXXX XXXX.On XX/XX/XXXX I sent an email to XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX about the denial and the appraisal fee. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a text from XXXX XXXX that he emailed the appraisal to me, but no answer to my questions why we were denied due to credit history after the appraisal was already done. Didn't hear anything so on XX/XX/XXXX emailed XXXX XXXX & XXXX XXXX again and since I haven't heard from them that I was taking this complaint higher in their bank. On XX/XX/XXXX I also email XXXX XXXX and added XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX concerning the denial due to credit history and being charge for appraisal and it the appraisal shouldn't of happen if being denied for credit history and stated i should be refunded for the appraisal and that they also over charged the credit card.. Didn't hear anything from my email on XX/XX/XXXX emailed then all again on XX/XX/XXXX. Still haven't heard anything from any of them. I think this is unfair practice that we were denied due to credit history after we were charged and appraisal was done on our property. Also we signed to have our credit card charged {$600.00} and our credit card was charged {$750.00}. They should issue a refund for the {$750.00} as this shouldn't of happen. Tried several times to resolve the issue with the bank, but didn't receive any response back from them to resolve the issue. Thank you XXXX XXXX

XXXX XXXX from Contour Mortgage ( http : //www.contourmortgage.com/ ) violated RESPA rule multiple times when he handled the mortgage for me from XXXX to XXXX 2015. I received Good Faith Estimate ( see attachment, the interest rate was 4.0 % ) on XXXX XXXX when I began the loan application. I got the mortgage approval package on XXXX XXXX. I had a phone conversation with XXXX on XXXX XXXX and I clearly stated I was not ready to lock the interest rate because my condo application was still pending although XXXX did advice me the rate might go up soon. After i received condo approval on XXXX XXXX, I contacted XXXX to find out the latest interest rate, he told me he locked the rate for me on XXXX XXXX at 4.125 %. He did not provide any form of written notice about the date he locked the rate or the rate % throughout the entire process. He did not provide me a revised GFE since the rate he locked was higher than the original GFE. He attempted to charge me {$1600.00} for the rate extension cost which he had no proof which date he locked the rate and which date he extended the rate to. 1 ) He failed to issue revised GFE after the rate was locked and the locked rate was higher than the rate stated on the GFE. he locked the rate without my consent. 2 ) We exchanged email on XXXX XXXX that he confirmed he extended the rate until the closing date XXXX XXXX XXXX ) but he did not mention anything about the cost. XXXX day before the closing when he finally provided closing statement, lock rate extension cost of {$1600.00} was added on closing statement that consider as changed circumstance, he again failed to issue a revised GFE. There was no breakdown or explanation on how the extension cost was calculated. I confronted him about adding the lock extension charge on closing statement, he said my option was to transfer my paperwork to other banks and adjourn the closing if i was not willing to accept the fee. My opinion was he purposely delay to provide the closing statement until the very last minute. I had to emailed bank attorneys, laid out all of his wrong doings for him to take out the charges. However, it did not undo the violations how he handled my mortgage and taking advantage of me being first time buyer and not familiar with the process and regulations. Throughout the entire process, GFE was provided only once before loan application was approved. Interest rate was not stated on commitment letter even though the rate expiration date was stated as XXXX XXXX, 2015. Extension cost should not be incurred before XXXX XXXX or a revised GFE should be issued. 3 ) The home insurance agent he referred which he said was a great quote ( i did purchased but later on cancelled ), was 2 times more expensive with half of the coverage of what I have my current policy now. I tried to escalate the case to Contour Managing XXXX XXXX, after a minute on the phone with him, he put me on hold of 5 minutes ( my guess he was talking to XXXX on the other line ), he came back saying XXXX went above and beyond to provide good service to me, that XXXX even paid out of pocket for part of the extension fee. This was either a big fat lie or someone had made a terrible mistake and try to cover his base. It just demonstrate XXXX manager aware and approved of his violations. Moreover, the final rate I was forced to lock was at least 0.125 % higher when i compared with other banks.

To whom it may concern On XX/XX/2019, my father and I went to see a property located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX house. Our agent XXXX XXXX was not available at the time, but he told us to show his card to the seller agent. We saw the house and we had conversation with the seller agent XXXX XXXX. Ms. XXXX then reported that the seller is in the process of getting another house and the lender is XXXX XXXX from Contour bank and the seller want the buyer to use the same lender. I told Ms. XXXX that I am pre-approved from XXXX XXXX however she insisted and said that I must use XXXX XXXX because that is what the lender wants. She then texts me the lender XXXX XXXX business card and the loan options and told me to call her. We liked the home, and, in a way, I was forced to use this lender, so I called her. Ms. XXXX confirmed that she is doing the seller other house loan and she is going to make sure the seller has a strong buyer and therefore I was referred to her. I gave her documents she needed. On XX/XX/19 she said there is a problem with the house that I currently own at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX. She said Your pics on the XXXX listing looks like one of the units or entire home is vacant and no one is living there. When were trying to make a case that two families are moving out of a two-family house. This in not a good Look. I told her that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX is my current primary residence where also my parents lives. I also reminded her that I have given residency verification documents already for me and for both of my parents ( driver license and utility bill ). I also explained the picture that was posted for the listing was old pictures that was used from previous owner. She then told me that I did fraud and she will deny the loan based on the picture that was posted on XXXX. There are few things that are my concern. The lender is also the seller lender and looking after seller interest. I have provided documents that I live in the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX house. MsXXXX XXXX did not offer any other options and took it personally and was to quick to conclude that I am denied the loan based on fraudulent documents, XXXX listing pictures and she called me a liar ( without having any evidence ). Her action was nowhere professional, and I was confused if she represents the bank, seller agent interest or her interest. Also is there any chance to get a fair loan from her? My agent XXXX XXXX also reported that the seller agent knows confidential information which XXXX, Ms. XXXX shared with her ( breach of confidentiality ). I have good credit and all documents that I provided to her was legal and with her directions. I dont want her unethical practice, unfair judgement to affect my credit records or future purchase of home. At this moment XXXX dont want the loan ( I did not sign any paperwork with her ). In addition to my first complaint I wish to add this information. On XXXX/XXXX/15, after supplying Contour Mortgage with the last of the requested documents, which was an updated bank statement and gift letter. Contour Mortgage informed my loan officer, XXXX XXXX there was more documents and inspections that needed to be done. Well I also found out that XXXX XXXX was not XXXX certified. In my state of aggravation Contour Mortgage I proceeded to make phone calls my way from XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX then finally, XXXX XXXX XXXX. After speaking with XXXX, who said he was the person in charge of XXXX and the underwriter XXXX XXXX ), he made it perfectly clear that my loan was locked in and he would go over my loan file to make sure it was processed expeditiously, because I had advised him of the XXXX XXXX 2 ) extensions that had already been made with the seller and we were now going into the third extension with the seller ( HUD XXXX and there would be added expenses relating to this extension. On Monday, XXXX/XXXX/15, I called XXXX to find out how things were moving along and he said he would get back to me by the days end, which he did not, but I did receive an email from Contour Mortgage through XXXX XXXX. In this email there was a PDF attachment which states the new and " XXXX '' Conditions ( Prior to Approval XXXX. In the conditions it said I, ( the buyer ) needed to provide contractor estimates for Lead based paint, electrical, and HVAC system. These estimates have been provided and there is a lead disclosure and credit for work to be done. Also, the utilities can not be turned on to provide an inspection, because the repairs have to be done first, which there is an estimate that was provided as well. Contour Mortgage is also asking that the new estimates they want, MUST come from contractors that hold a valid license and XXXX policy and have Contractor Identity of Interest Certification etc, etc, etc. So, the requested documents I needed to provide went from XXXX to XXXX in a matter of a couple days. I am able to provide a PDF copy of the final demands that Contour Mortgage is requesting. All the information they are asking for was information they had in hand at the beginning phase of this loan application. I am upset they have me jumping through hoops that seem to never end. I can not seem to satisfy the underwriters requests. I have read others reports on the XXXX web site and found there have been others who are dissatisfied with Contour Mortgage Company. My realtor and I have been transparent through this process, but when we ask questions and demand answers, Contour Mortgage employees never answer, never return emails or phone calls or simply put, do n't have the answers, other than a XXXX loan has many steps.

I originally applied for a mortgage loan with Contour M ortgage in XXXX o f 2017. I w as prequalified by myself and at the time i did not want to add my husband. I later realized that for the type and size of house we wanted we needed to add both my husband and I on the loan. The lo an officer assured us that if he was added to the loan we could go as " high as we wanted '' ( his words exactly ). W e searched for a home and foun d one a nd asked him for a pre qualification letter on XXXX XXXX , 2017 o f a certain amount on the advise of our realtor. She suggested this be done so the seller would agree to pay closing cost. The loan officer agreed. We contracted on XXXX XXXX , 2017 with a closing date of XXXX XXXX , 2017 a nd a due diligence date of XXXX , XXXX , 2017 . We sent the loa n officer ev erything he needed which included XXXX XXXX , bank statements and all disclosures he asked us to sign as soon as he sent them or asked for them. On XXXX XXXX 2017 the lo an officer informed us that I could not be on the loan because of a XXXX issue. ( after having this looked at by another lender this was showing clear ). The l oan officer assured us at this time that we could proceed with this loan in just my husbands name. As the due diligence time approached we did not hear anything from the loan officer so w e called a day before on XX/XX/XXXX , to see if everything is ok to close and to confirm that the appraisal was completed. The loan officer assured us everything is fine but no the appraisal has not been completed. The appraisal payment was taken from our account on XXXX XXXX , 2017. It was ordered an hour after our realtor called to ask about it on XXXX , XXXX , 2017. As the closing date was approaching everyone involved including the seller was wondering why underwriting was n't complete. The appraisal still was not back as of XXXX , XXXX ,2017. My realtor called someone in corporate to get a resolution and he confirmed that based on the income and credit report this loan has no problem being approved and assured her that he will do everything he can to speed up the process for a closing asap. The final decision from underwriting came back on XXXX XXXX , 2017. It was denied due to insufficient income. This was not relayed to us. we had to call to get a status and that is when we were told that we did n't qualify due to not enough income for the price of the house. We still have not received a formal written denial as of today.

I am filing a complaint against Contour Mortgage. Especially the unprofessional mortgage lender we had XXXX XXXX. Also against the owner. XXXX XXXX was unprofessional with giving our personal info to his friend BC they are related to us and we didn't give our permission for him to do so. Also his threat to not close our loan on the last day before BC we confronted him via text. There have been many thing along the whole process. He told my husband when he was fighting with his wife. XXXX why don't you come XXXX the XXXX out of my wife and I will come XXXX the XXXX out of XXXX. He got fired from previous company while in the process of our loan. We stayed with him BC he had our info and BC he was a friend of my brother in law. However I wish we didn't BC this was the worst experience ever. And after stay all this happened. So unprofessionally.I asked him who his boss is and his response was himself. He also called and had me almost have a breakdown BC he decided to call and team us that they denied our loan when we were already out of our other house and living with our XXXX kids at my in-laws. Who cried everyday that we were homeless. How is this funny. I had him on speaker and my in-laws flipped out on him. This is just the tip of what we went threw. I want to presume charges for the emotional pain he caused. My husband and I never have fought so much. The company signed an addendum to pay for storage in the house that they came up with. But at closing decided to only pay XXXX for movers and storage in new house of our stuff that they came up with. I had to pay {$4000.00} to sellers. I didn't agree to. They supposedly said they had a cap. However this was never relayed to us. So we got stuck with the bill. And this was the owners doing. I have the addendum that has no limit or days on it. Please help.

I submitted my completed application on XX/XX/XXXX and sent it over to XXXX XXXX of Contour Mortgage on the same day. He did not confirm receipt however, he messaged me on XX/XX/XXXX to let me know that I need to submit additional information. I did and did not hear back from him until I reached out on XX/XX/XXXX and I stated " Hi XXXX- I hope you enjoyed your weekend! I just wanted to follow-up here since its been about thirty days since I submitted my application. I was wondering if you can provide an update on status. '' It was only then that they sent me additional conditions and document requests. This continued where it was radio silence for months until I reached out. If they needed additional documents, I wouldn't have known until I reached out. I provide the documents within 24 hours and still no confirmation of receipt or anything. XXXX XXXX also participated in deceptive practices. When he was looking to get my business, he said it would be a quick and easy process and he had recently closed a similar situation. He also lead me to believe that he would be able to refinance the home and process a HELOC loan. Unaware to me that they actually DO NOT offer HELOCs and i would have to go somewhere else to do this. This was not disclosed to me until now as we are closing. Now that I am closing, they have me backdating the documents. I received them on XX/XX/XXXX however the date on the documents are XX/XX/XXXX. It took over four months to close with no communication as to why it is taking so long. Now my interest rate has increased almost identical to what it is on my current mortgage however, I don't have the time to go through this process all over again. I strongly suggest an audit on their practices as I feel they are deceiving their customers to gain business and extend the process.

I am a seller who signed a purchase & sales agreement XX/XX/19 with a buyer pre-qualification letter dated XX/XX/19 expiring XX/XX/19. When the loan process went through underwriting, they discovered the FHA rules had changed XX/XX/19 and declined the loan as the buyer did not meet the NEW guidelines. I received notice of the denial dated XX/XX/19 on XX/XX/19. I requested for the lender to pay me my {$1500.00} since I am out of pocket my mortgage this entire time since I reside elsewhere with rent. They refused. How is it ethical that you can issue a pre-qualification letter where the buyer met the FHA guidelines XX/XX/19 and valid for 120 days but then say they are only prequalified as of the date of the XX/XX/19 letter??? I signed a contract based off the validity of this letter and no other letters amending it. I feel like the lender should pay my binder of {$1500.00} since we received NO notices prior to the XX/XX/19 signing that the pre-qualification letter was not valid anymore or possibly compromised due to MAJOR FHA guideline changes effective XX/XX/19. The lender should not issue such pre-qualification letters if the language has been compromised by regulatory industry changes and no longer valid or at a MINIMUM send a generic notification to all pre-qual parties with active letters. Where are the rights to consumer in this matter as I am sure I am not the only person who suffers financial loss due to this. Lender should be held accountable for these letters or not issue them. Seems like its WORTHLESS if you say they qualified XXXX but valid for 120 days when that is possibly false. I don't expect them to honor the loan. I just expect to be compensated by them for what I lost due to no amendment or notification regarding the pre-qualification letter validity.

I was shopping for a mortgage and was referred to XXXX XXXX at Contour Mortgage by a co-worker. I called for information and at first everything was okay. He began collecting my information. After about 30 minutes on the phone he asked that I provide sensitive information to him. I asked him if I could call him back, I then contacted my attorney to ask his advice. He told me to ask for a loan estimate from the loan officer. When I called XXXX back he told me that he needed my information. I asked for the loan estimate and he suddenly changed his attitude and asked why? I told him that my attorney asked for it and he answered that attorneys were idiots and did n't know what they were talking about. I tried to get him to provide me with a loan estimate, but he refused. XXXX told me that he had been in the business for over 10 years and that he was the expert and that I should have faith in him. I started to feel uneasy and asked if he could review the costs verbally with me which he did. I never received the loan estimate that I asked for. When I finished talking with him he asked again for my social security number and date of birth. Something did n't seem right so I did n't give it to him and told him that i 'd call back. When I hung up I googled the company which seemed legitimate and then googled XXXX XXXX and found out that he was arrested after being fired by another bank!!!!!!!!!! I am really disappointed that this is still going on. I thought that the government protects us against criminals, however they are apparently still out there. I do n't know how someone can be fired from one bank, get arrested and then be handling sensitive information at the next. It is baffling. XXXX

I close on a mortgage in XX/XX/2020 with Contour Mortgage. At the closing, there was an approximately {$3000.00} that was supposed to pay off some debts. The debt in question was already being deducted from my paycheck. The lawyers agreed that after the full amount is paid through my paycheck, then I would get the check. That never happened. I kept requesting for the check with no real answers. As I was going through the closing documents I also notice that I never received an accurate closing documents with the actual expenses. The documents that I signed XXXX days before closing were estimates not the actual expenses, because the estimates for the title company was different from what the amount on the title expense statement. There was another {$2500.00} difference in the amount that was actually charged and the amount showed on the estimate closing cost document that I received. This was confirmed by the original loan officer. I am requesting for a thorough recount of the closing process of the mortgage because I believe that I am currently responsible to pay back a mortgage amount that is not accurate. In addition, there was supposed to be a {$500.00} credit applied on the price of the house. This credit was not honored. Furthermore, I got an unpaid tax for 2020 that was supposed to be taken care of during the process. I tried to resolve the problem with Contour Mortgage with no success. So I am putting the complaints with the current loan servicer XXXX XXXX Loans.

XX/XX/2019 I closed my refinance with Contour Mortgage. At the day of the closing some information changed XXXX cash out amount and amount paid for points ). I called the XXXX XXXX ( the mortgage specialist assisting me during the closing and he said everything was fine and he'll explain. The discrepancy in the payout amount according to XXXX was going to be refunded to me once the escrow account send out the balance left in the account to me. I contacted XXXX and his supervisor XXXX XXXX several times in an attempt to clarify what happened with the refund from the escrow account ( {$1200.00} Estm ) & {$500.00} gift card promised to me to cover the appraisal charge. I spoke several times with XXXX and nothing came about for either of the issues. I contacted the old bank who have my mortgage to find out if something was missing or if the have the balance. they indicated they account was clear and nothing was due back to me on their end. its been about six month since I refinance with Contour mortgage and I still waiting for a resolution to this issue. My attempts to find a solution with them have been unsuccessful and my calls are not being answered by either one of them. I hope through this mean I am able to find a resolution and a final answer to what it is owe to me by Contour Mortgage and a explanation as to what happened witht he difference in their final closing papers. I have contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX ( nmls # XXXX ) on XX/XX/2023 afternoon and explicitly asked him to see if I provided all the paperwork he needs, would he be able to provide me with a Loan Estimate the same day and lock in as well as i am on a time crunch to close a property that i am purchasing. He has assured me multiple times that he can do that. He send me an email requesting all the paperwork and I sent him all the documents right away. After reviewing all the paperwork, he again assured me that he can provide me with a loan estimate within the day and we can lock in the rate at the same time. He also performed a credit inquiry at about XXXX XXXX on that day and once the report came in again assured me that i will receive a loan estimate within an hour. Then he said his boss XXXX XXXX ( nmls # XXXX ) would call me shortly. Since then i have asked XXXX XXXX numerous times over last week to see if his boss will call me and if he can get me a Loan Estimate so we can move forward. As off today, XX/XX/2023 XXXXXXXX XXXX i did not receive any Loan Estimate and XXXX XXXX kept telling me his boss is a busy man. XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX have completely neglected my urgent need for a mortgage and wasted about a week of my time. I was searching to refinance my home loan in the month of XXXX with several lenders over the phone. I was asking each and every lender what my new monthly payments would be based on a 30 year fixed rate XXXX points on our balance we owed. The quote that I received from a sales manager XXXX XXXX NMLS # XXXX from Contour Mortgage attracted me since he stated clearly to me over the phone that my new monthly payments would be $ XXXX /month a savings to us of $ XXXX /month. I decided after comparing quotes I received from the other lenders to go with Contour Mortgage. I spent {$450.00} on an appraisal, over {$100.00} to fax documents from a XXXX XXXX and {$35.00} to cancel a check on account of this loan only to learn near closing that our new monthly payments were actually going to be $ XXXX ./month and not $ XXXX ./month as he told me when I made my decision to pick his company. I emailed the branch manager XXXX XXXX NMLS # XXXX on XXXX XXXX 2017 and told him that I was misled by his dishonest sales manager XXXX XXXX and was seeking a refund of my money spent on this loan.

Too much to type it all out as this has been an ongoing issue over 8 months, but I've been trying to close a refinance with Contour Mortgage since XX/XX/XXXX. Just this week ( week of XX/XX/XXXX ) I was informed that a final decision has been made to not refinance my mortgage. I was not given an official reason and I supplied every piece of information that was requested of me in a very timely manner. I have not received a refund for the over {$2000.00} in appraisal fees that I was charged, and my credit was checked multiple times without my approval to do so. These inquiries will negatively affect my credit for the next 24 months. What is happening to me should be illegal. I fear it may be discrimination, as there is no other logical excuse or reason this is happening to me, when loans for other people have been getting closed since XXXX without issue.

On XXXX I received a call from the sales manager / loan originator named XXXX XXXX XXXX NMLS ID # XXXX ) from Contour Mortgage. I have never spoke to him before and this was the first time this person reached out to me. He started YELLING at me on the phone and bullying me saying that I'm " already getting an unheard of rates '' and that " I don't want to deal with your files anymore, they have been on my desk for over a month '' - all because I said that I don't want to pay for a lock extension that was due to the lender lagging on their end. He then told me that I can walk away and not close my loan ( I already spent money ( {$1700.00} ) on three appraisals for three concurrent transactions ). Very rude and unprofessional individual that should never be put in a position of power and speak this way to any client.

Mortgage lender overcharging me in closing costs. They have financed my upfront MIP into my loan which I asked if they can remove several times. They are also charging me this same upfront MIP again at closing. I met with bank, several times in reference to this and now on the day of closing, nothing has changed. They have finance {$5500.00} in my mortgage which I may add made my down payment of 3.5 % higher and now they also have that amount calculated within my closing costs. My issue with the closing disclosure is that it is very misleading as it does n't say anywhere on it that they have added my upfront MIP on the balance of my loan. The MIP is listed as one of my closing costs which they state can not be removed. It should be removed because it was financed in the balance of my loan.

Upon finding a condominium for purchase I went with Contour Mortgage as my initial lender. I signed the contract at the end of XX/XX/XXXX. There were many issues with this lender such as : 1- multiple title issues never disclosed 2- loan estimate submitted to me on XX/XX/XXXX ( after multiple emails on my part ) 3- I was told that the loan estimate was not accurate " just numbers '' 4- steered to an attorney who is an associate of the lender and also failed to disclose 5-inspection and appraisal fees were charged to me without disclosing pertinent information about the property or the loan itself 6-repeatedly contacted afterward by the lender after I told him I would no longer be using his services

Contour Mortgage who is a XXXX approved lender has been holding up the loan with minor details. I have extended the purchase twice with the seller and now moving into a third extension, which will now cost me $ XXXXday until the closing. Numerous attempts to rectify any and all problems, but emails and phone calls go unanswered or fall upon deaf ears if a human is reached. I have been jumping through hoops to find out there are more hoops to jump through. I have satisfied all request only to find it was not good enough or they need documents that were already sent. Some documents have been sent 2, 3, and some 4 times. They do not follow the XXXX guidelines.

I applied for a Re-finance mortgage wit h Contour mortga ge and paid for an appraisal. After the appraisal my loan estimate went up by thousands. When i switched to a new mortgage company, I filled out an appraisal transfer and Contour is refu sing to release the appraisal. I never asked them to run my credit and I specifically asked them to let me know before running my credit. He went on and ran my credit without informing me whatsoever.
