In XX/XX/2020, I was contacted by XXXX XXXX about this account. I sent a letter to XXXX XXXX because I have a right to be treated by a collection agency with dignity and respect. The collection agency has engaged in the following practices, which violate the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act : Repeat calls as harassment Illegally Inform a Third Party About Your Alleged Debts repeatedly calling relatives, family and friends Calling and impersonating friends/relatives especially when you are taking advantage of elderly people Collectors are not allowed to inform anyone about your debts Within five days of the collector 's initial communication, it must send you a notice include the amount of the debt, name of the creditor, and notice of your right to dispute the debts within 30 days. XXXX XXXX stopped calling and never provided any documentation about the debt. Now, Continental Collection is showing on credit reports. So I dont know who owns this account. Recently, I was checking my credit reports and noticed Continental Collection. Continental Collection has never provided any documentation to me about this debt or sent me any communication about this debt. In addition, they are increasing debt amount every month on credit reports. I dont know if they have the authority to do so. I have no knowledge of this account. I am retired and on Social Security at this time. I want all collection activity to cease and desist and this account removed from all credit reports. According to the fair credit reporting Act Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) you are required by a FEDERAL law to verify through the physical verification.

Debt is related to a rent charge of XXXX to XXXX, and went up to XXXX where this debt belong to my ex, which is all her incurred debt. Originally a I tried to settle the debt by using veteran resources, but they told me, that if you are invovled with a XXXX case as I have full custody of our XXXX. I told landlord I am leaving under these conditions as my lease was up, and the debt was supposed to be wiped out or transferred to my ex, but the lied to me, and sent my debt, which is too old to be on my credit report in XXXX. I fought these people before with previous debt to ration charges, and every time I had to prove my case to be absolved of these debt allegations. When I went back to Washington State I was XXXX for 45 days with a child and from XX/XX/2016 I have lived in this area with no rent issues, ex issues etc while living in peace. I cleared previous falsified rental eviction debt off my credit report, and my current and past landlords within 5 years or anywhere else in the United states would tell you I paid all my rent on time. Colorado is one of the most dishonest states I lived in my past for 12 years on and off, that will ruin your credit report and rental history. This debt right now is preventing me from using my VA home loan to buy a house for me, my son, and service dog to date.

In XX/XX/2021 I received a letter from Continental Collection Agency for a {$5500.00} debt for a former apartment I had stayed at. I contacted the agency and was trying to explain to one of the collectors that I was not responsible for this debt and I no longer lived in the apartment when this debt had been sent to them. The man became irate with me and yell at me that I was responsible and they had proof. I asked for proof and it was a piece of paper with my name and my ex with a break down of what was owed and the dates it was accumulated. Once again I repeated I did not live there during this time, I have proof and they still have kept it on my record. I even asked for the signed documents they had and the did not send it. To add my ex was evicted from this apartment before the dates the landlord had stated. I have pulled my mail, witnesses, court documents, and my former lease that proved I did not live there and he was evicted. For documents I have attached the letter they sent us stating the dates that the debt was accumulated. I have added documents with dates that prove I no longer lived at this address. I can also add court papers about this situation but my name is not on these forms.

There are 2 separate collection companies attempting to collect on behalf of the same creditor on my credit report. I have attempting to dispute this debt multiple times with the original creditor, prior to the collections phase unsuccessfully as the information is not correct. I have also tried to dispute with the 1st agency that reported a collections record under my name as well as the second agency. Regardless of the fact that the debt information that is being reported is inaccurate. I know that it : duplicate reporting of the same debt constitutes inaccurate credit reporting which is a violation of the FCRA. I am unable to get help from either the original creditor, the debt collection agencies or the 3 major credit reporting agencies to which I have submitted multiple disputes. Please help me, as each agency has continuously made monthly reporting updates and balance increases. This is illegal collection activity. CNTNTL COLL - This one was reported first. Both are on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX Other Loan Past due : {$5400.00} Collection/ Chargeoff Other Loan XXXX XXXX XXXX Past due : {$3800.00} Collection/ Chargeoff

On XX/XX/2019, I rescued a cat and was billed by XXXX highlands ranch in the amount of about XXXX dollars ( I do not have the bill, but was sent this by continental collections agency ). I then made payments of XXXX dollars on XXXX XXXX, and XX/XX/2019 on my credit card. I paid another XXXX dollars in cash on XX/XX/2019. This should have left my balance around XXXX dollars. Fast forward to a year later, I was not made aware of this balance and was sent to continental collections by XXXX, and was being charged over XXXX dollars. I do not believe this is a fair debt based on the original amount owed, much less payments which were made by myself toward this debt. I dont believe I have paid this completely, but i do believe my dent owed to the original debtor was less than XXXX dollars This balance has since grown to almost XXXX dollars, and I simply can not pay this. This makes me stressed every day, and I would like to simply pay them XXXX dollars, or nothing, and have them remove this error from my otherwise great credit file!

I have a collection on my credit report that is the result of a forged lease in my name. I went to court to have it resolved and i have the documentation saying that the courts even declared that it was not owed by me due to forgery. The collection is still on my report and the company continues to attempt to collect even though i have the documentation showing that it isn't owed. Please help me resolve this matter and get this collection removed from my report as it is not mine.
