- They got me SUED because they did not file crucial legal paperwork. - They tried to blame me even though I had paid them and had all of the financials in writing ( see explanations below ). - They tried changing our contractual agreements to extort me for thousands more after their mistake. - They were unprofessional and their customer service was inconsistent at best. - They did not even touch the second of my two debts until my first was paid, after years had gone by. - They did not properly coach me that I would need a lump sum within a week to get a second debt going after I put a lump sum to finish off the first one, which meant I had to come up with thousands within a week. - They discouraged me from contacting my second creditor directly to settle the debt myself. They said the creditor would not even talk to me at this point because of Power of Attorney, which I later learned I could easily dissolve myself, and I did. - I was served papers at dinner time in front of my family, including an elderly relative that was really upset about it and when I told Beyond this on the phone, someone was clearly laughing at the serious distress their complete incompetence has caused me and my family. It is hard to quantify the damage that was caused, but this is unacceptable on both professional and personal standards and it is just shameful behavior. There were other issues, but here is more detail on the lawsuit : I received a voicemail from XXXX at Beyond, who said it was urgent that I contact Beyond regarding my account. I called back and was given a week to come up with a {$2200.00} deposit on a settlement offer with my creditor, which I did not have, especially since I had just paid a lump sum to finish my last debt. When I was making that payoff, I asked the customer service representative if they saw any reason to hold off and save it for the next debt and they said no. It was a hardship to come up with that in a week and I basically ended up giving them over {$3500.00} within two weeks. XXXX : I called and set up that new deposit with a customer service rep. She said we could do {$2000.00} now and spread the other {$200.00} across the remaining payments, so she calculated that, processed the payment, and sent me an email with that confirmation and all of the calculations, which I have. XXXX : I receive and sign the settlement offer promptly via XXXX, which is a legally binding online site. It is dated and I have a copy. It clearly shows the amount and the payment dates. XXXX : The creditor filed a lawsuit against me for the full ( non-negotiated ) amount. I was given 30 days. XXXX : I was served papers in front of my family at dinner time for a debt I thought was taken care of, with a contract that had been signed weeks ago. XXXX : Beyond Finance customer service told me I never signed the settlement offer. I told them Im looking at the signed contract dated XXXX via XXXX. They put me on hold and then apologized- they see it now ; basically I WAS SUED BECAUSE SOMEONE DIDNT FILE MY CONTRACT. It was never entered into the system. She then entered it. I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold for over an hour. A new person answered who didnt identify herself as a manager, wouldnt transfer me, made me start over, was hostile, and kept trying to blame me : You didnt sign the contract. Yes I did. You didnt pay the full {$2200.00}. Yes I did. I paid {$2000.00} and spread the remainder per the agreement that you made with me. Then she said, well, you didnt do it correctly. Thats not true, and even if so, it would have been your fault since your representative did the calculations. Well its too late but the good news is there is a new settlement offer I said we had a contract with all of the names of the parties, all of the numbers, dates, signatures, it was done via XXXX, etc. I just needed me to sign and pay the deposit, by the due date, which I did. Basically, her story kept changing to avoid taking responsibility, which she never did. Then the new offer was for an ADDITIONAL {$1200.00} on top of the {$2200.00} I just gave them and the settlement amount was also {$2000.00} more than the first settlement amount. So not only was I sued, embarrassed, etc., now they were extorting me for {$3200.00} because of their massive mistake. I would call this criminal. I wouldnt bite and she reluctantly agreed to transfer. I spoke with XXXX who I have spoken with and we had gotten along in the past ; he remembered me and it was generally pleasant except that someone was clearly laughing when I mentioned being served papers in front of my elderly grandmother who was really upset about it. I suppose it may have been someone else who was in the room, but it was incredibly insulting and unprofessional to say the least. He tried to say that maybe something happened in the system or it was logged as they were filing the suit, etc., which I knew wasnt true because the first rep said it wasnt logged at all. He said he would reach out to the contract negotiator to see if the law firm would work with us and he would get back to me in 72 hours. XXXX : No word from Beyond or XXXX so I called. The clock was ticking on my lawsuit. The representative I spoke with tried to blame me again even though I have documentation. I asked for a call back from XXXX that never came, again. XXXX : I contacted the firm that was suing me. They had no record of that contract I signed from Beyond Finance. This confirms that Beyond and XXXX did not do their part and they were responsible for getting me sued. They also were making no effort to make this right. I also learned that I could easily dissolve my power of attorney, which I did and then broke off from Beyond Finance.

What Happened Before I enrolled to the Beyond Finance Debt Relief Program, twice I had a long consult with their agent, XXXX XXXX, who they say have left their company lately, in order to make sure that this program would really reduce my debt by 50 % as he confidently said, and there be no hidden fee, or increase of monthly payment, or increase of the total Settlement Amount. Each time he made certain that as long as I would fulfill my obligation to make a monthly payment on time, they would take care of everything for settlement. Furthermore, he assured me that they had been so successful in negotiating with the creditors that usually they had been able to reduce the debts less than 50 %. Thus, trusting in his words, I enrolled to their debt relief program, and have made monthly payments on time since then without any delinquency. Around XXXX of XXXX, because the settlement with XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX showed no progress XXXX year after the enrollment, I anxiously inquired of the status, and then each time they assured me they were in the process of negotiation. But on XX/XX/XXXX, I received Court Summons, sued by plaintiff, XXXX XXXX XXXX, represented by XXXX XXXX XXXX. At that point, I realized due to the unsuccessful negotiation or inaction of Beyond Finance, my debts to XXXX XXXX XXXX had increased beyond the original debts as is listed in the box below. As a result, I am penalized to pay more than the original debts to XXXX. Around XXXX of XXXX, Beyond asked me whether I was willing to make a chunk deposit of {$3500.00}, and increase the monthly payment from {$580.00} to {$680.00} for 15 months to settle with both XXXX and XXXX. In spite of the fact that I was assured many times by their agent, XXXX XXXX, that there would be no increase of the monthly payment at all, since they told me that by making a chunk deposit of {$3500.00} and increasing monthly payment by {$100.00} for 15 months, which would amount to the prepayment of {$5000.00}, my graduation date from the program would be expedited from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. Since then I was contacted by their agent XXXX more times regarding the offer, and each time I asked my early graduation from the program should I accept the offer. And each time they confirmed me that it would certainly do. So I accepted the offer, even though it was very difficult for me to raise a fund for that purpose. Furthermore, Beyond also failed in negotiating with XXXX, making an excuse that XXXX was very aggressive in negotiation. The end result is that I will end up paying almost the total of the original debt for this account. On the first week of XXXX, since the graduation day was coming, I just wanted to check the payment schedule on XXXX, the third party required by law. And I was terrified to find that my graduation date was extended to XX/XX/XXXX, and also my total payment was increased so much that I would end up paying far more than the original debts. I immediately contacted their agent, XXXX XXXX, and spent XXXX weeks to identify and resolve the issue. I was told by XXXX that his managers were looking on this issue and they would contact me within next XXXX hours. But they never contacted me and kept me in the dark. Each time I had to initiate contact with them, and they kept repeating it was because the creditors were aggressive so that they could not make settlements they used to do even though their target was 50 %, and no more than 60 %. As of today, according to XXXX XXXX, the third party payment agency, XX/XX/XXXX, my payment schedule is extended to XX/XX/XXXX, 15 months more than originally estimated. And the total payment is, either {$38000.00} according to XXXX XXXX, agent of Beyond Finance, which is just an estimation, or, {$42000.00} according to XXXX, which is the only official number that I should trust. Either way, it is bigger than the original debt. I made a series of attempt to reconcile these contradictory numbers but Beyond Finance has refused to give me an official letter regarding the total amount of payment and the graduation date, while insisting once we get closer to the end of the program we can draft an official letter according to the message received. But how do I know the time when we get closer to the end of the program when Beyond Finance refuses to provide the exact numbers, and their estimation is completely different from the payment schedule on XXXX XXXX, which is the only official number? I believe that Beyond Finance is obliged to disclose the number to its clients. Thus, in spite of repeated requests from me when it refuses to do so, it amounts to a breach of fiduciary trust. Simply, Beyond Finance is not acting in good faith in relation to its clients. Deposits/Credits as of XX/XX/XXXX : {$25000.00} Scheduled Payments to XX/XX/XXXX : {$16000.00} Total : {$42000.00} Original Debts : {$37000.00}

I set up an account with Beyond Finance looking to pay off debt after Coronavirus. I spoke with a representative. In which I was explained a program. At the time I was not advised of the fees and I was under the impression that I would only be paying a program fee. After having the account for a month. I noticed excessive fees. Settlement fee for XXXX $ fees several XXXX deemed for possible legal service. Only XXXX $ was placed toward my debt. When I requested to cancel my account, I received no contact. I contacted a gain to cancel my account and finally got an email that my account would be cancelled and funds in my dedicated account would be returned. XXXX $ should have been left. When I contacted I was told they had to collect their settlement fees which are 25 %. Id spoken with a representative that told me there were only 4 fees of XXXX. I asked if that was all, they said yes. I was then told if I read the contract it said it there. Even though I asked, I was not told. It is In the contract. Why when I specified asked was I not told this? I would not have proceeded if this information was provided from the beginning when I signed up! The relief on clause in the contract that they know would not be read instead of being forthcoming. I deserve my money back. I was on hold for 2 hours to speak with a manager. I was hung up on while on hold. No one would communicate with me regarding this issue. The ledger the provide just says withdrawal it does not tell you why money is being removed from your account. You have to call and wait to get an explanation. This is a deceptive business practice, why have a ledger if it doesnt explain where the money is going. In addition why are fees not explained in the the initial debt that was supposed to be pa was a target account for XXXX to be reduced to XXXX XXXX Instead they jumped over that and settled a larger account for XXXX make it it have and getting a larger fee. Of XXXX $ instead of the XXXX $ For the smaller account which I would have immediately notice the cost vs settlement ratio was ridiculous. Instead if helping people they are preying of individuals who are trying to pay debts and get their life back. Now I am out half of what it would cost me to file Bankruptcy and I am still in debt. After reviewing the agreement it says nothing about any fee other the ridiculous debt settlement fee.

I signed up with Beyond Finance XX/XX/XXXX because they claim they would help me consolidate my outstanding balances, because things were tight and Covid had just started and things were shutting down so I was unsure of the outcome and I was never late on payments I had with creditors. I was unaware of the impact it would cause. Now, I have many charge offs because They instructed me to stop paying. They would try and settle with the credit card companies and upon completion of the settlement, they would report paid as agreed. Throughout the process, I was charged massive amounts of money that off the top was paid to Beyond for fees. The payments agreed to was minimal and some would increase when one was complete. However, in XX/XX/XXXX there was a miscommunication and they refunded. {$590.00} a portion of my deposit. After speaking to several people there my deposit was put back in the account. Once the account was restored thee initial XXXX accounts fell off. I had been charged $ {$7400.00} in fees settled amount {$19000.00} paid {$8100.00} balance due $ {$11000.00} not to include book fees of {$10.00} ea moXXXX {$14.00} ea mo ( legal ) and as of today those accounts are still open. 5 accounts have been paid off.Fees charged {$1500.00} settled amount {$4200.00} When reviewing my credit report all I see are charge off. Some XXXX balance and ones that fell through the crack has me owning much more. I have exhausted myself trying to pay this and to no avail. I need assistance. Creditors are still calling several times a day. I forward to Beyond but they are still calling me. I have not stopped as yet because I have invested so much and I have also paid off some of the accounts that were included in that agreement myself because they wound stop. I don't know what to do. {$10000.00} and I've paid {$6700.00} owning a balance of {$3400.00} to date making arrangements with companies. And finally, I still have 3 Creditors that have were included in that agreement myself because they wound stop. I don't know what to do. {$10000.00} and I've paid {$6700.00} owning a balance of {$3400.00} to date making arrangements with companies. And finally, I still have 3 Creditors that have not been spoken to. I have all agreements receipts and confirmation of payments. I am tapped out!

Around approximately XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted Beyond Finance to assist me with consolidating my credit card accounts and possibly getting settlements with the credit card companies that would allow me to clear my credit of any outstanding balances. At the time that I contacted Beyond Finance, my credit was " excellent '', in the XXXX range, with no late payments ever. Beyond Finance instructed me they would take care of paying the credit cards, with me making one payment to Beyond Finance monthly. It was six months before Beyond Finance started making payments from the money I had sent them, leaving red marks on my credit for missing payments. My credit score quickly plunged from XXXX to XXXX. I made the decision to refinance my home to get the money to pay off Beyond Finance and asked them to send me a quote of the amount that would pay off my remaining balances on my credit report. They quoted me the amount of {$2400.00}. I sent them this amount immediately and it cleared my bank on XX/XX/XXXX. After multiple calls each week, 3-4 calls each week, Beyond Finance tells me 14 days later that they quoted me the wrong amount and that I need to pay them an additional {$500.00}. I paid the additional {$500.00} to them on XX/XX/XXXX. My credit is still showing a balance owed on one of the cards, XXXX XXXX, and Beyond Finance keeps telling me they will graduate me from the program once XXXX accepts the payment. This has been going on for at least two weeks and no payment is yet showing to XXXX to pay off the balance of {$130.00}. I feel Beyond Finance has scammed me and has definitely ruined an excellent credit for me. I am in the process of buying a home and want all of this to be settled as soon as possible, yet it appears to be stalled, despite me having sent them {$500.00} more dollars. Thank you for any assistance you can provide. I certainly don't want anyone else to have to suffer the stress and worry that I have suffered with this company.

I was misled by the sales agent during our initial phone call and have now paid {$4400.00} into my dedicated account and only one settlement has been reached in the amount of {$1600.00}. I was only able to find this out by requesting a transaction statement, otherwise, I can't see what fees or anything are being charged. I specifically asked the agent about owing taxes on any amount negotiated and he told me that I would not owe taxes due to the creditors having some agreement with them under COVID relief. He added, if I do get a 1099-C, to send to Beyond Finance for them to take care of. This year, I received one in the amount of {$600.00} causing me to owe more on our taxes. I have called and attempted to speak to the agent and keep being told they would email him and he would call me back. He has never returned my call. I have complained about the misrepresentation to other representatives and was told they have never had any COVID program and they referred me to the fine print in the agreement. I unenrolled all of the credit accounts I could but still have one pending. The agreement says if I unenroll during the settlement phase they will get to keep all of their fees as if they actually finished the settlement despite not performing the agreed service fully. I'm not sure how they can legally collect their FULL fees vs just the ones they've already charged. I'm not sure what to do as it's been a year, my credit is worse than before, I'm owing more now than when I enrolled and I'm stuck. I'm set to complete their program by XX/XX/23, at which point, I will have paid this company a total of XXXX for them to only have " resolved '' my debt for less than XXXX XXXX and then owe even more to the IRS next year when I receive another 1099-C. Their fees are predatory and at least one agent materially misrepresented the agreement.

XX/XX/XXXX I removed 2/4 accounts and was informed my monthly payments would decrease to {$100.00} bi-monthly but would still cover the 2 accounts that were being disputed including 1 that already had a settlement. XX/XX/XXXX Contacted by company who requested my payments go from 2to 3 a month and asked for {$300.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and {$100.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and {$100.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I asked why would it be increase and was informed because of a {$460.00} settlement for the 2nd account. I asked why would it be this amount for the next 48 months for a {$460.00} settlement. They gave me round about answers and no clear answers then proceeded to say my account was in the red although I was paying $ XXXX from XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX that was supposed to be for 4 accounts. I then removed 2 accounts reducing my enrolled debt and making my payments $ XXXX for the other two accounts from XXXX XXXX current. Where did my account go to red when I removed two accounts originally enrolled? I didn't get a straight answer. The service representative stumbled and studdered over words. I asked why my payments would need to increase? So far I have paid Beyond Finance {$1900.00} and they have ONLY paid one account settlement {$700.00} and now they are asking for an extra {$300.00} for another settlement. That's {$1200.00} of my hard earned money to NOTHING other than attorneys fees and their pockets. And this was NOT explained to be initially that so much would NOT go to my debt. I am further in debt trying to get credit repair from Beyond Finance. Customer services is terrible and they don't know anything to help me. I was told the amount set was all I needed to pay a month to get out of credit card debt for {$18000.00} and now I have only enroller {$12000.00} and they are trying to increase it.

Today, I was on a call with a company marketed as Accredited, which provides debt settlement services. I was on inquiring, never gave them my social security number and did not give any approval for a hard credit inquiry. They asked for my name, birthdate and home address and said they would only do a soft inquiry to see what products they could offer. They requested my bank account number and routing number over the phone, which I would not give them telling them I could not provide that sensitive information without first having a better understanding of what company I was dealing with ( no privacy disclosures were provided to me on the call ). I ask that the companies debt settlement agreement be provided to me so that I could understand it before making a decision. I decided not to move forward with their debt settlement services. I then received a notice that I was denied credit. But I never provided an approval for a hard inquiry into my credit report and I was not at all intending to apply for a loan, nor was I advised that I was, in fact applying for the loan. The following was in the denial email ( the first time I heard that was engaging with XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ) Creditor 's name : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX address : c/o XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, TX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, at telephone number : XXXX My phone conversation was with a XXXX. Do not ever do business with Beyond Finance. They tell you they will help you take care of your debt but omitted the fact that their take is 20 something percent. I was not able to ask questions to get information about my accounts. They refused to tell me anything and took over {$3000.00} first without even paying anything towards my debt first. They also refused to tell me anything about my settlements and refused to handle the ones I wanted to first. They never asked me for a proper negotiable amount and they also have made no attempt to make it right with me. They only worsened my problems and I had to take the settlements into my own hands. The day I removed myself from the program, I was able to negotiate all of my debts myself and immediately start paying them. They projected 5 years and more than {$10000.00} more then I initially owed. The problem is every time I asked questions about my accounts or how it works they would say they cant tell me or avoid answering the questions. Not to mention when I signed up I didnt hear from anybody for about a month even thought I consistently called to get answers. Worst experience Ive ever had with a company and youre dealing with someones life. Completely unacceptable

I signed up with Beyond Finance to help me settle with my credit cards after my divorce that caused the debt. I understood how they work but they gave me misleading info about contacting my creditors. I thought that they will let all of them know that they working on my behalf to help me settle. What I found out they only contact one creditor and I couldn't even find where the rest of the debt was. After researching everything I found out that they were in collection and didn't know that I am doing something about the debt. When they settled with one creditor, they were so happy to tell me but I found out that they made all the payments to cover the settlement agreement but the last payment they made was on the wrong date and the settlement was terminated as stated in agreement with my creditor. The creditor stated in the agreement that they will accept the settlement but payments must be made on certain dates or the settlement will be terminated. I have been calling them about it right away so they can fix. It started in XXXX and now is XXXX and nothing has been done. Beyond finance lied to me they tried to make a payment on the right date but there is no record with my creditor that they did.

XX/XX/22 I signed with Beyond Finance to help me resolve my debt and improve my credit scores. They told me to stop paying on all accounts which immediately caused a barrage of collection calls. They indicated they would negotiate my debts and reach a settlement on them. I turned over 11 accounts to them to resolve. Over a period of a year, they only resolved one account for half of the balance but then charged me a fee nearly equal to the balance. Then they started on a second account and charged me excessive fees for that account which is not settled. Over the year I took back most of my accounts and got them back up to date as they were not doing what they led me to believe they would do. When I canceled with them, I had XXXX cents in escrow that they are refusing to return to me. They say it is to pay for fees toward the second settlement however that settlement never fully went through. They are trying to charge {$6000.00} in fees for that account. They misled me and tricked me into exorbitant fees and saved me nothing. They have also contributed to ruining my credit by telling me to stop paying on all of these accounts. Now I am in worse shape than when I signed with them.

I am writing to register a complaint about XXXX Finance, and to ask for an urgent investigation into their business practices. The company has promised to reduce my debt by 50 %, but I have recently discovered that they have charged me upfront fees of 25 % of any debt reductions that they complete, regardless of the outcome. This has resulted in them taking almost {$4000.00} from my account for their fees, leaving me with nothing to pay my debtors. As an accountant and CPA, I find this to be a complete fraud and request that the company be investigated and any fees charged be refunded. The company never explained the upfront fees to me, and I have been paying {$700.00} two weeks, believing that it was going towards my debt payment. However, now I find that it has all been taken away from me. I am sure that I am not the only person who has suffered due to the reckless practices of this company. I request that an investigation be launched into their business practices, and that they be held accountable for any fraudulent actions. Please contact me at XXXX or via email at XXXX to discuss this matter further. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

I began a debt settlement program with Beyond Finance in which they say will be for 45-55 % of the original debt. This is definitely untrue with mine being for 5 % -45 %. Then I was served with papers in which when I talked to an associate they said itd be handled. They then just gave me an answer. When I first started the program, they said Id have legal representation. My legal representation was just an answer in which I submitted and they said I could go or not go. They didnt provide any of the legal direction they initially promised. Following that, I received multiple phone calls and emails about their accelerated graduation program. They then made me feel pressured into doing it due to the papers I was served by saying it was the best option given the legal proceedings filed. Then they connected me with their sister company, XXXX XXXX. Their associate assured me it was the best option however their interest rate of 26.99 % is outrageous and its crazy that a company trying to help you to a better financial future would even consider XXXX XXXX a viable option when the interest is as high as the credit cards youre attempting to settle.

Beyond Finance, Inc. promised to negotiate the settlement of my credit card accounts that qualified for the credit reduction program, which I enrolled in XX/XX/2019. After 19 months in the program, only one debt had been settled and paid off. After {$5500.00} I still did not get the settlement on all 8 accounts. The company is using deceptive practices. I have contacted the company numerous times, only to get the runaround. I filed with Missouri Attorney General XXXXonsumer Protection Division, who sought to mitigate the process, but also got the run around until they recommend me suing them in small claims court or retain an attorney. The company ruined my credit, prior to joining the program I had not missed any payments on my credit card accounts. I was asked to miss 3 payments and my credit will be restored after 4 months. the missed payments were to be eligible for the program, only to find out that the company ( Beyond Finance ) only sought to settle the accounts after they had been charged off and interest and fees increase their percentage on recovery. AA total scram.

In the beginning of XXXX I talked to Beyond Finance. They told me they were going to lower my debts, and work diligently to get them reduced. I made my first payment of {$100.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and every XXXX weeks after that until XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX they came to me with a settlement of a debt that had increased by more than double since I in rolled in their program and I had not touched the card. Their settlement was a {$42.00} savings over what I wouldve paid if I hadnt contacted them. They said most deaths are reduced by half. After increasing my debt, the settlement they came to was half of the new amount they drove up. They only work on one debt at a time that to me is not working to reduce my debts it is working to reduce a debt. I had a hard time paying off my debt before they did this now I have to file bankruptcy to get out of the hole they continue to dig me into.

I was referred to this program by my creditor, XXXX XXXX XXXX, via Accredited Debt Relief under the guise of credit counseling. After acknowledging this was not then right solution for me, I cancelled within the three business days stated in the contract. I was told a manager would call me, but I only found automated voice messages in my inbox. I called, and a representative, XXXX, was very difficult in processing my cancellation. He tried multiple times for me to continue with the program despite my insisting. I even yelled stop twice from the top of my lungs, which made him go silent for 15-30 seconds until he finally realized I wouldnt budge. He also told me I would receive a confirmation email, which never happened. This was an extremely predatory experience, and I would have much rather have dealt with collections agency than this company.

I sought out the services of Accredited Debt Relief for their debt consolidation services. Upon signing up I had a total of around {$7000.00} in debt that would be enrolled with Beyond Credit. They pulled my credit report prior to enrolling. AFTER enrollment it was mentioned within a long email that it would take 4-6 months for them to begin paying out ... I called Beyond Credit and was then informed, after they took my money, that it was a settlement service to pay out 50-55 % of what I owe yet in my contract they are charging me for the full amounts to each creditor plus enrollment fees of approximately $ XXXX and service fees of $ XXXX. I am demanding a refund of the money I paid to them and would like them to remedy the fact they completely mislead me into which services I was given. It was deceptive and predatory.

I originally signed up for beyond finance in XX/XX/2019 and paid a little over XXXX a month until recently. I paid a little over XXXX and they closed 3 accounts which were not close to that amount. They kept telling me for months they were in settlement while my credit gor worse and then finally after years of service and realizing my money was being stolen I asked to close my account. They said I only had XXXX in the account and they were keeping it. I paid them for years only to have 3 accounts closed but then I don't get my money??? Where did the XXXX go????

This company, Beyond Finance, failed to inform me that their method would have a damaging impact on my credit score. They advised me not to pay my creditors in order to allow them leverage to negotiate lower payments for me. They told me that they would pay my creditors with funds that I send to them. They failed to follow through and as a consequence, I received 4 late payments on my credit report, sending my credit score plummeting. I am still suffering from the effects. Please advise how I can remove the late payments from my credit report. Thank you.
