The main issue is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX tried to charged us for an extra months rent and utilities when our lease ended XXXX, and we submitted to vacate 60 days prior. In XXXX XXXX, my two roommates and I signed a lease for a 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartment at the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX was the company managing the property during that time and unfortunately, we did not have a great experience. We were lied to about our unit being renovated, it was dirty, and on the first day, our family had to make repairs to a leak in the bathroom. We filled out a list of damages and we told them that we didnt feel comfortable signing off on the apartment until repairs were made. So, one of us turned in the paper, and once we told them that we werent going to sign until they made repairs they backtracked. XXXX XXXX, the property manager at the time, nervously handed back the papers and told my roommate that she wasnt taking them and that we had to sign. My roommate at the time shared that the way she was reacting made her fear that we wouldnt have a place to stay so she signed off due to our lack of options. From that day we dealt with issues with repairs, including XXXX inability to reach out to the electric company, XXXX since XXXX XXXX in regard to fixing our power meter. Which resulted in the risk of us almost losing power in our unit. With the addition of leaks, flooding, gaseous smells in the basement from the sewage drain, cricket, and spider infestations we were miserable. So, when XXXX reached out to tenants to inform us that the property would be switching hands they asked if we would like to renew our lease as it was ending on XXXX. That if we planned on leaving that we needed to submit an intent to vacate 60 days prior to the end of our lease otherwise our lease would remain in effect. One of my roommates submitted theirs first due to moving out of state. XXXX reached out to her over the company's messaging system to ask if the rest of us would be leaving as well. She informed them that we all were leaving, and asked for confirmation if we needed to submit individually as well. We were told to submit our intent to vacate through the XXXX app from which we used to make payments. On XXXX XXXX XXXX I submitted my intent to vacate and prepared to move out of the property. On XXXX XXXX XXXX my roommates shared that they received an email from someone stating that our lease was in effect and that rent was due XXXX XXXX. I reached out to XXXX to ask for confirmation that by in effect they were referring to our current lease set to end on XXXX which meant they were saying that we were still, understandably, responsible for our last month of rent in XXXX I was told that was correct, and that we set to move out. Now the last month of our lease we couldnt get ahold of anybody, and we didnt know who would be doing our final walk-through, if repairs that we had asked for months prior would be repaired, or what. On the day of my moveout XXXX, there wasnt anyone in the office the morning of and even when I left the property. In the hustle of moving all by myself, the one packet of information that I had that tied my name and my roommates to the apartment were packed away in a box at a friend's house. I didnt want to just drop the keys for no one to realize that they went to our unit. So, I decided to hold onto them to return to a person, hopefully, the next day XXXX. However, when I came by there still wasnt anybody in the office. There was even a sign that stated someone would return at XXXX. So I waited for as long as I could before I had to leave for work and recorded myself folding up the keys into some of our paperwork. I dropped it off in the rent box and left the property. We were so over dealing with that property that we let go of asking for our security deposits back if that meant we would never have to hear from someone about that property again. XXXX forward to XXXX XXXX XXXX, one of my roommates messaged in our group chat if we have received calls from a debt collector asking about not paying the last months rent or the last 16 days of utilities. She stated that the associate asked for me, and our other roommate, and she was wondering if it was a scam. Since the rest of us never received a call and we paid up on our last month's rent on XXXX XXXX XXXX and canceled all utilities that werent included in our monthly rent expenses (XXXXXXXX for rent, XXXX for water, XXXX for Sewer, and XXXX for trash) that totaled to XXXX. We split rent and additional utilities 3 ways till closer to the end 2 of us paid for rent 50/50. We made sure either way we paid our rent. So, I called the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to only get their voicemail. My roommate that received the phone call had her dad call the number back and he heard the phone pick up, there was no answer till the woman said hello, and when he asked who she was and what she was calling about she hung up the phone. So, even despite us reasonably writing off the situation as a scam I still called back to the property and left a voicemail explaining that we were previous tenants, and I asked if they had experienced a leak of tenant information because if they had I felt that they should contact previous tenants so they didnt get tricked. Never received a phone call back so we interpreted their lack of response as confirmation that that was the case, and went on about our lives because we tried. On XXXX I got a notification on my credit report that a new account had been opened. Now XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX so I assumed that it was one of my loans. I still double-checked to make sure and unfortunately, I saw an account opened for XXXX for Consumer Collections with XXXX XXXX XXXX listed as the original creditor. Now I havent received any communication from the current management of the property or CCM prior to this being sent to collections of them claiming that we owed this or that we were overdue and that if we didnt pay that we would be sent to collections. This has also been the case for my roommate that also never received a written debt validation notice from the collector with information about the debt theyre trying to collect since the first contact on XXXX XXXX XXXX. I went in on XXXXXXXX prepared with all previous communications, bank statements, and records because I was sure that this was just a simple mistake between the switching of management and they would just need proof that I paid. The associate grabbed the assistant manager, and they looked and asked for my information. I provided my name, and they asked me when I moved out. I stated that I moved out on XXXX, The assistant manager asked the associate who handled the move-out, and the associate said someone named XXXX in a tone that sounded disappointed. I took that as an implication that something was mishandled so I shared that I also had documentation proving that I moved out, and I was told by the assistant manager, that they didnt need it. That all that was needed was my phone number (since the one they had listed for me started with XXXX and that was not what I put in my lease) and that while they couldnt get to it today they could get it done by Friday XXXX. She did state that the day I visited that it was delinquency day so when Friday came and I didnt hear an answer I decided to give them a little more time as they do operate on Saturdays according to their website. So, I called on XXXX to see if they were able to make progress on the situation. The assistant manager told me that they hadnt yet, but that they were on it. I asked again for confirmation if they needed anything from me, and I was once again told no. That they had my phone number that I provided XXXX and that was all they needed to fix the situation on 11/16. I received a phone call from the assistant manager and she asked if I had a move-out email. I informed her that I didnt have an email since I was told, (and kept documentation) of the previous management telling us that we didnt have to and to submit the intent to vacate through the app we used to pay rent. I shared that I had an email dated XXXX that our lease would be ending XXXX, the screenshot of the message from XXXX telling us to submit through the app, the email stating that the app was deactivated after we submitted our last month of rent, our cancellation of utilities, and even XXXX sending us a survey asking how our move-out was. I asked if that was okay and was told that it was. I asked if I could get a follow-up email on their progress with the situation going forward. I even swung by the next morning to show my recorded move-out videos to prove in real time that I didnt edit the dates and that I was just having a hard time sending them from my phone due to their size. (Which is also the case on the CFPB Website- I was able to upload shorter videos of locking up and dropping off the keys. However, the rest (I.e: moveout videos, issues with infestations, lack of repairs, and damages) I am happy to show. as I even showed the assistant manager) As I shared with the assistant manager I would have liked this situation to have been taken care of by today. XXXX and she had confidence that they could get it done before. Then I received an email from the assistant manager informing me that she spoke with her manager and that she needed the actual email you sent stating that you were not renewing your lease. Again to my frustration, as I stated and provided documentation for, I didnt have one before due to the instructions given and the fact that the app was deactivated. So, I called the old management company XXXX asking if they could find the XXXX verification that I submitted. Thankfully they were able to find it, and I sent it over the same day (XXXX). I even swung by after I sent the XXXX verification to see if I could speak with the manager to confirm thats all they needed and see if they could take care of the situation that day since they had what they asked for. The assistant manager asked me if her manager asked me to come over. I explained why I was there and she informed me that her manager was on the phone, and I said that was fine and that I was willing to wait because I had hours before my next class, but to my surprise, I was told that her manager had to go through the ledgers. I was a bit confused by her reply because I understand they wanted verification that I submitted to move out. However, as I explained to them in my email on Friday, I'm having a hard time seeing how the email prevented the ledger search until now. The assistant manager seemed to be confused as to why I was still there and seemed curious as to if I would be leaving. So, I felt like I should go, but even before I fully left I turned around to ask if I could get an email and she headed towards the stairs. I thought I was speaking loud enough for her to hear me since there wasnt that much distance between us but it could happen. Now I asked the assistant manager if they could get this resolved before the XXXX (my next reporting cycle) and I was told yes. I sent an email out on Friday XXXX asking for updates, stated my frustrations with this apartment property, and how guidelines of the CFPB werent followed for the alleged debt. I told them that if the situation wasnt resolved by today I would be taking more formal means of remediation. I havent had contact with them since Friday. (XXXX) I told them that I feel like my good faith isnt being reciprocated, and its true I feel like Im not being taken seriously and taken advantage of. Even in transparency I managed to get access to my old email account and I managed to find the email stating that the Block as of XXXX was over the property, our lease was in effect (which was what I reached out to XXXX for confirmation on) and that rent was due XXXX XXXX, and to pay on the app we had been using, and that the app would be deactivated XXXX. I just found two automated emails from XXXX that XXXX rent is due, and an email about an autopay attachment. Somehow I am the only one to receive this email. There arent any follow up emails afterwards that I or my other roommates have received from Block in regards to being overdue on rent, or that if we didnt pay that we would be sent to collections. If we had received thorough follow through of communication early on then we would have taken care of this situation earlier on. The fact that none of us were contacted before this was sent to collections isnt on us. It is not our fault that in the shuffle of hands that our contact information was mishandled. This situation should have never gotten to this point. At this point were ready to release all recorded videos & even past & recent recorded conversations of damages, lack of repairs, and infestations to the XXXX XXXX XXXX and so on.

I explained that he did n't know for certain without my input and receipts whether I did or did n't owe them and then he again began yelling over me while I was speaking. His behavior was the most rude I have ever encountered. It absolutely fell within constituted harassment and violated numerous areas of the that I knew it was illegal. He laughed at me and said I had a couple of days until he began aggressively pursuing all the options he had and then yelled that he was ending the call and hung up on me. As luck would have it, I received the statements today with a postmark of XXXX / XXXX / XXXX from zip code XXXX with the following number XXXX . I have reviewed the information sent and. He laughed at me and said it was absolutely not harassment a stated that he was giving me a couple more days before he would be aggressively pursuing collections for what I owe and then yelled that he was ending the call and hung up on me. Like a gift from above, I received the statements today that XXXX XXXX claimed to have personally mailed on XXXX / XXXX / XXXX . The envelope with postmark shows a very clear postmark of XXXX / XXXX / XXXX from zip code XXXX with the following number XXXX on the USPS labe l. I have attached it below and have reviewed the statements that XXXX XXXX mailed and will be disputing the unallowable double charges for which your company is attempting to collect. They are not valid, not legal, to duplicate a co-pay charge that has been paid on the day of an office visit and then charged a second time at the time the billing agent was resubmitting a previously incorrect submission. The individual in the medical billing department made notations that the billing was done incorrectly. The statements show my co-pay amount was paid each time on the date of my office visit. They are attempting to collect a second, unallowable {$20.00} copay for each of the claims they were required to re-bill to my insurance company. I am only required to pay XXXX {$20.00} copay at the time of my office visit. I submitted my current insurance cards at each visit and always paid my {$20.00} copay. They are attempting to collect an additional {$20.00} copay on dates I was not seen but days they were resubmitting billing to my health insurance provider because they had billed them incorrectly initially. I am not responsible for fraudulent co-pay charges added to my account for dates I was not seen due to their billing errors. I have proof of all insurance coverage, doctor visits, co-pays made, and know that none of the billing statements presented to me, show a valid debt for which I am responsible. This debt should be removed as invalid and all debt collection activity should be immediately ceased by Consumer Collection Management , Inc. A ny information shared with any of the XXXX credit reporting agencies should be immediately deleted for this debt is invalid. I have proof I will gladly provide that this debt is invalid and not mine and any and all collection activities b y Consumer Collection Management or any other debt collector, related to these fraudulent charges should be immediately removed from any/all accounts bearing my name.

In short, a real estate management company by the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX owns the apartment complex I last occupied, the XXXX XXXX The complex attempted to illegally evict me after receiving false, unverified complaints from a single tenant. They are now attempting to withhold my deposit and, through a debt collector, charge me an additional XXXX XXXX for the remaining months of rent, falsely claiming that I broke the lease. The tenant I was in conflict with was an elderly woman living below me, who I suspect was experiencing some level of mental decline due to the absurdity of her claims and nature of the harassment I received. I amicably agreed to leave the building due to a number of reasons. Foremost, this aforementioned tenant began regularly harassing me during the late hours of the night. This included threats on my life and safety as well as regular visits from law enforcement who had received false noise complaints from her. All of these interruptions occurred after midnight, when I had already been asleep. Hopefully any police reports filed will reflect the fact that the officers woke me when making contact. This escalated to a point where I was forced to make the decision to vacate the building until I could make arrangement for a new apartment, even though I was still leased at the location. To be clear, though the eviction notice I received was unlawful and unsubstantiated, I was essentially forced to leave the building due to the volume of harassment and threats against my person I received from this other tenant. XXXX XXXX. XXXX offered no assistance in this regard. I attempted to contact them several times so that the conditions of this parting could be agreed upon, but, of course, I was ignored. I only received verbal confirmation, over a phone call, that this would not be considered an eviction on my record. I understand the context of this scenario appears to be he said, she said circumstances, but there are a few points of evidence that I feel verify my position. Firstly, XXXX XXXX. XXXX practically refused all communication with me, even before the situation escalated. I sent them 7 emails over the course of the conflict. It was not until I asked if they could confirm that they were receiving these messages that they responded. At this time, they simply answered yes, and did not address any of my other messages. I will attach these emails with the submitted complaint. At no point did they attempt to cooperate to any degree, hear my side, respond to simple questions, verify the complaints made, or elaborate on the nature of their unlawful demands. Secondly, the primary complaint filed against me was that I was skulking outside the aforementioned tenants window twenty-four hours a day, regularly throwing rocks at her window in 15-minute intervals. This is recorded in the legal document the tenant submitted to acquire an order of protection against me. These claims were immediately dismissed in court. This document and the claims made within will be submitted along with this complaint. This claim should have been extremely easy to verify. If I were to be throwing rocks at her window all day every day, a video or photo of me doing so should be easily acquired, and I would hope that the degree of absurdity of these complaints would give anyone enough pause to ask for some degree of evidence. Yet, XXXX XXXX. XXXX made zero attempts to verify or question me about any of these claims and ignored all requests I made for assistance or understanding. In brief, an either mentally ill or malicious person made absurd claims about me. XXXX XXXX. XXXX made zero effort to vet these claims or treat me with basic human decency. Instead, they took advantage of the opportunity to throw me out, steal my deposit, and attempt to charge me XXXX XXXX after the fact. I can not help but to feel that they saw this situation as an opportunity to make financial gain over my wellbeing. The collections office I was sent to is Consumer Collection Management , Inc. So far this organization has not done anything unlawful or unethical, though I do not know how to handle them in this situation.

This message is to serve as filing a formal Complaint in regards to an FDCPA violation that occurred on XXXX/XXXX/2016 by a XXXX XXXX, employed at the Consumer XXXX Management Inc. Location - XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, MO XXXX. The telephone number in which the call was produced by shows as, XXXX/XXXX. The representative stated the company is called " Consumer Management XXXX XXXX ''. I received a call from XXXX XXXX at my place of Employment today. Upon receipt of her call, I advised her that it was not okay to call me at my job and to instead call me on my cell phone. I asked her has she attempted to do so, as I have not received any calls from this place prior to today. XXXX XXXX became very rude and unprofessional. When asked for her to call me on my cell phone about the purpose for her call, she stated " I 'm not going to call you on any other phone, I am just going to push your account further into collections and let them handle you ''. She became very short and dismissive. She threatened me which violates the FDCPA - 806. Harassment or abuse [ 15 USC 1692d ], 807. False or misleading representations [ 15 USC 1692e ]. This employee verbally stated that " SHE was going to push my file into FURTHER collections '', as if it is up to her to make the call on my behalf and also denied me the ability to discuss my file/resolve it by refusing to call me on my cell phone, being that I told her that they are NOT to call my work number under any circumstances. I felt extremely offended and disrupted, causing disruption to my work performance. Upon taking a break at work, I called their office back ( as I obtained the # from XXXX XXXX during her disrespectful call language ). I asked to speak with a Manager, after being on hold I was able to connect to a guy by the name of " XXXX XXXX '', he stated that he was the manager. Shortly into the call, he said that he was the " VP of the Company '', AFTER me asking him for the contact information for the President of company. XXXX XXXX seemed very disinterested in my concerns and the violation/threat received from his employee. He stated to me " we do n't get complaints here ''. I asked him if I can file a formal complaint and in return receive a written response with the outcome/resolution to this matter, ensuring that this will not happen again. He blatantly told me " NO! '' and that " they handle their complaints, internally ''. I continuously expressed my concerns of such a poor call received from his office and too letting him know how offended I felt because of it. I asked XXXX XXXX to listen to the call with his upper management team. He did state that he " would review the call '' but that basically, that is all that will be done and that I will not be acknowledged on the conclusion of such. So basically, he told me - it happened, deal with it! He refused to intake my verbal complaint and also refused to award me any type of resolution or even apology on behalf of HIS staff. He began to interrupt me and brush off my expressions of concern. He confirmed that my work phone number would be removed from their database but, I also told him that I do not authorize any automatic dialer calls being placed to my cell phone and to please call my cell phone manually when in attempts to contact me. I have never experienced such disrespectful behavior from a company that is " attempting to collect a debt ''. And even more so, from a VICE PRESIDENT. I want this matter looked into, addressed, and resolved immediately as my FDCPA rights were violated by means of " threat '', the very pour display of professionalism and " Consumer Services '' by XXXX XXXX, and the dismissive practices and rejected desire for submitting a formal complaint, displayed by VICE PRESIDENT - XXXX XXXX.

My lease ended with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Kansas on XX/XX/2021. A prorated rent portion was paid at the beginning of XXXX and has since cleared my bank account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a final account statement from the apartment office showing that we had yet to pay rent for the month of XXXX, and also included past due payments for water bills, penalties for those late bills and pest control charges. On the same day I received the statement, I immediately contacted the property manager, XXXX XXXX, to notify him that the account statement was incorrect, as we had already paid the portions related to rent and pest control. I stated that we would pay the utility portions. I did not receive an updated account statement. Not even a month after moving out, I received a collections letter from Consumer Collection Management Inc. stating that they were attempting to collect {$1400.00} ( the same balance on the final account statement ) that had been owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Upon receipt of this notice in XXXX, I immediately contacted the collection agency and explained the situation to them. They stated that if I sent in an updated statement of account showing that we had in fact paid the rent and pest control then they would adjust the balance. Since I no longer live in XXXX, Kansas, let alone the same state, I can not physically go in to the office. The same day I received the collection notice, I attempted to call the office during regular business hours and no one answered the phone. I left a voicemail requesting that they call me back and never received a response. I continued to call multiple times a week and left multiple voicemails and never received a call back. On XX/XX/XXXX I received another collection notice in the mail and attempted to call XXXX XXXX ' office. No one ever answered or called back. On XX/XX/XXXX I called the office and spoke with XXXX XXXX, who confirmed that she could see we had paid the XXXX rent. I asked for an updated account statement to be emailed to me and she said she would work on resolving the issue. Later on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX emailed me saying that they were going to contact their corporate office to try to resolve the issue. On XX/XX/XXXX I followed up with them since I had not yet received a response. On XX/XX/XXXX I followed up again since I still had not received a response, and the debt had now hit my credit report. I stated that I had made multiple attempts since XXXX of 2021 to try to resolve this issue and I have repeatedly asked for an updated account statement and they have failed to help resolve the issue. I stated that if the issue was not resolved by XX/XX/XXXX, that I would be seeking legal action against the company. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX responded saying there was nothing the company could do about the water bills and fees. I responded immediately and stated that I have never had an issue paying those amounts, but that I still needed an updated account statement since the rent and other fees had already been paid and those amounts make up over 50 % of the balance the collections agency has assessed to me. Over 50 % of this balance is due to errors on behalf of XXXX XXXX. In the same email on XX/XX/XXXX, I responded saying that if I did not receive an updated account statement by the end of the day, then I would be seeking legal action against the company. It is now the end of the day on XX/XX/XXXX, and I have received zero correspondence from XXXX or any of the other staff at XXXX XXXX. This issue could have been resolved three months ago but this office has refused to help rectify the situation -- of which, is almost entirely errors on their part.

The total is {$1800.00} NOT {$2900.00} that they falsely reported. They have reported I owe them {$2900.00} in base rent which is another fabrication. They have reported I owe them XXXX dollars in damages and have failed to send me any documentation of damages. XXXX XXXX has violated my rights by failing to report a satisfaction of judgment and providing false information to the stating the balance was not paid in full and pursuing eviction for a satisfied judgement. XXXX XXXX XXXX has falsely reported rent amounts that do not coincide with the signed lease or dates I occupied the apartment. I am requesting all collection practies be haulted immediately

On XX/XX/2023 I contacted CCM and spoke with XXXX at XXXX in regards to an account that had been placed in their office by XXXX. At the time, XXXX XXXX told me that they ( CCM ) had sent correspondence to me at a XXXX address and a XXXX XXXX XXXX I have not had either addresses ) and the notices went unanswered. I informed her that I had never resided at the address she mentioned, thus making me unaware of the attempt to resolve the debt in question. When I asked about the dates of service, XXXX XXXX told me that I would have to speak with the attorney on the case who was based in XXXX XXXX. She provided me with the attorney 's name XXXX XXXX XXXX and stated he would be able to answer any questions I had. However, my attempt to speak with XXXX XXXX has been extremely unsuccessful. I was able to log onto XXXX XXXX and found the petition filed in XXXX XXXX ( not the county I live in ), but the petition filed lacked any exhibits or other information to identify the debt or validate that it belong to me. Again on XX/XX/2023 at XXXX XXXX I again attempted to reach out to CCM and spoke with XXXX XXXX who again informed me that several notices were mailed to me at the XXXX address and XXXX XXXX XXXX I again informed XXXX that the biggest problem is that they were attempting to contact me at addresses where I had never resided. I informed her that I wanted and was willing to resolve this matter if they could verify and validate the debt as belonging to me and provide me with the dates of service and amount ( XXXX ) due. XXXX refused acknowledge my statement and admit that notices went unanswered because of incorrect contact information. She also refused to tell me where the " bad '' contact information for me originated from. After putting me on hold for about XXXX to XXXX minutes, XXXX XXXX ( he informed me he was a supervisor ) entered the call and informed me that I would need to speak to XXXX XXXX and there was nothing additional he or his company would do to assist me. In short, do not call us any more as there is nothing we will do for you. I do not feel this response was appropriate of fair seeing that the attempts to contact me fell through solely on the part of CCM. Currently, the attorney on this case ( not sure if his office is in XXXX or XXXX ) has completely refused to provide me with documentation of the verification of the debt. There are not exhibits attached to the petition he filed in court ; he submitted nothing other than his filing sheet and petition. He has since filed with the XXXX courts a change of venue since I reside in the city of XXXX, yet nothing other than the petition is available.

I had payment agreement with a medical provider to pay bill at {$25.00} every other week which I started immediately. Provider then sent account to collection in spite of agreement and then stated they are no longer collecting the item. I have attached several docs showing that I made a {$25.00} payment and then a bill after that from the medical provider showing they transferred the account to collection company as a bad debt write off in the amount of {$750.00} despite the fact that I was making payments as agreed. The collection company, Consumer Collections Management Inc. then sent me a letter stating they are collecting the debt and the amount went up {$150.00} for a collection fee, of which they can not validate that I EVER agreed to this with the original provider. This is a clear FDCPA violation. Also, they sent me the letter saying I had 30 days to dispute the collection in XX/XX/XXXX ( also document attached ) to which I responded in writing by certified mail right away and far before the alloted 30 days. ( I have attached the proof ), however they reported it on credit immediately and despite my letter, ignoring the law. Also they did NOT respond in 30 days or less after I asked to prove or validate the debt. Consumer Collections did NOT validate the debt or that I owe them as requested. When I called today and spoke with XXXX XXXX and told her that they need to send the validation that they can charge a collection fee or I they were in violation of FDCPA, I was transfered to the supervisor who refused to give her name and then she said she would send something in writing but the collection charges still stand and then hung up on me claiming I was being rude, which I was not and have a recorded call to prove it. This company is clearly operating by collecting debts using illegal tactics and ploys all while charging illegal fees for collecting debts without the legal ability or agreement by consumer to pay the fees with orginal creditor/provider. Luckily, I know my rights. I have sent payment to the medical provider for the {$750.00} dollars to satisfy the debt in full. I do NOT owe the collection company and insist that they remove the collection immediately from my credit and NEVER contact me again. Please help enforce this and advocate my rights and protect and honest consumer or I will hire and pursue legal relief and remedy to the fullest extent of the law.

Prior to Move-Out- I called XXXX XXXX to ask about move out requirements. I submitted the required notice to move-out as per the lease. I was not given any standards to which the apartment should be cleaned nor were any listed in the lease. I was simply told i should clean the apartment and move out. XXXX- My lease with XXXX XXXX ended. My keys were returned to the front office, and my apartment was cleaned. XXXX- I recieved 3 letters from Consumer Collection Management Inc. attempting to collect on separate debts. One listed my name, two did not. The letter listing my name cited a debt of ~XXXX dollars listed as " miscellanious '' from the original creditor XXXX XXXX. I had recieved no prior notice and was not contacted about any " miscellanious '' fees by XXXX XXXX prior to this letter from Consumer Collection Management Inc. XXXX- I called Consumer Collection Management Inc. to dispute the validity of the debts, I was told It was n't neccessary for me to submit my dispute in writing but that I probably should. Of the 3 letters, only 1 had my name and the following 2 had names I do n't recognize as well as differing account numbers. While on the phone, I resolved the issues with the 2 letters that did n't match my name. I also immediately resolved an issue of another debt I was told by the representative was under my name. This debt aparently was from someone with a differing birth day than myself. At this point I 'm sincerely concerned about the handling of my information as well as my privacy, espcially regarding a debt that i dispute the validity of. The representative informed me that the debt in the letter bearing my name consisted of " miscellanious '' fees, for not returning keys and for cleaning of the apartment. I disputued this debt based on the inaccuracy of the underlying claims, as the apartment was both clean and the keys returned to XXXX XXXX. I also question that the debt in question is mine, as I now have heard of 3 debts from CCM that were n't mine but contained some conscript of my personal information. This shows a mishandling of my personal information/breach of privacy by either or both CCM and XXXX XXXX. As well as a breach of privacy for those debtors whose letters were sent to me. XXXX- I submitted my dispute of the validity of the debt that had my name attached to it. XXXX- I 'm filing a formal complaint with the CFPB

I lived at XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX in XXXX, TN from XX/XX/2019 to XX/XX/2019. My lease was paid in full and I notified the management company when I was moving out. XXXX years later, I saw on my credit report that I was sent to collections that I owed {$2000.00}. I never received any communication that there were outstanding charges from when I lived here. I called the current management company of XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX and all they were able to tell me is that I " broke my lease ''. I then asked them to send me a copy of the lease for me to review and they have been unable to provide that to me despite multiple requests. When I reached out again, that same management company then told me that a different management company was managing the property at the time I was living there and that if I needed any further information I would need to reach out to them. I then reached out the previous management company, XXXX XXXX XXXX, multiple times, received no response and no one is able to send me any documentation of the charges that I am supposedly delinquent on. I have no outstanding charges due to the XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX nor to Consumer Collection MN where they sent me to collections. I also reached out to Consumer Collection MN as I never received any notification from them that I was sent to their collection agency. When I spoke to them they also had no documentation of what the charges consist of other than " I broke my lease ''. This process has been an absolute nightmare and all I've gotten is the run around from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX who is currently being managed by XXXX XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX who was the management company at the time I was living at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and Consumer Collection MN. This collections has a negative effect on my credit score and I just don't understand how companies are able to do this to an individual. If someone owes money, the creditor should be able to provide sufficient documentation of the charges. I've tried disputing the collections via XXXX and it came back as " verified '' by Consumer Collections MN however they still can't seem to find any verification of the charges that they can send to me???? Somebody please make it make sense.

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX, IL - Services were used on XX/XX/XXXX when I had an XXXX. Claim was submitted through my insurance, XXXX. Claim was paid via my health spending account provider 's website, XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX shows that payment cleared XXXX XXXX 's bank on XX/XX/XXXX. I received a letter from a collection agency, Consumer Collection Management Inc., in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX claimed that they never received payment for XX/XX/XXXX services. My health spending account provider, XXXX XXXX, shows payment cleared their bank on XX/XX/XXXX. Since XXXX, I've placed numerous calls to XXXX XXXX, Consumer Collection Management and XXXX XXXX trying to resolve the issue. On XX/XX/XXXX, I had XXXX where XXXX XXXX 's services were used again. At this point, I am still working with them to resolve the issue with the payment I made in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX has not 'found ' the payment. In XXXX they 'found ' the payment owed from XX/XX/XXXX but applied part of it to the XX/XX/XXXX claim and part to the XX/XX/XXXX claim. By applying partial payment to the XX/XX/XXXX claim, this left me in collections for {$49.00}. When I called them about applying a XX/XX/XXXX payment to a XX/XX/XXXX claim, they admitted that they applied part of the XX/XX/XXXX payment to the XX/XX/XXXX service. This is quite interesting because a claim had not yet been submitted to XXXX for the XX/XX/XXXX charge. I wonder how they could possibly know how much to apply for the service when it had not gone through my insurance? I received an invoice for {$49.00} for XX/XX/XXXX services, but yet the charges still had not been submitted to XXXX. When I called XXXX XXXX, I was told to ignore the invoice. In the meantime, I am still waiting for them to submit a claim to XXXX for XX/XX/XXXX services and I am still in collections for a claim that I paid within 30 days of the billing last year. I know this is a rambling, confusing ordeal but beware of XXXX XXXX 's accounting practices. My credit rating has gone from Excellent credit to just Good.

I was first notified by phone on XX/XX/XXXX when Consumer Collection Management refused to give me any detail concerning the debt they were calling about. An attorney I spoke with said that as the creditor had turned this to a collector they would likely refer me to the collector. Since I could not get information from the collector I tried to call the creditor several times the following week and there was no answer no recording. I did not even know the amount being claimed until XX/XX/XXXX when it showed on my credit report. On advice I filed a dispute with all three credit bureaus written the next day and mailed return receipt the following day. I have since received all three of the receipts. As I understood that collections would not continue to contact me during the dispute process I didnt take further action while waiting for the companys response to the dispute. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a call that disconnected within seconds of my answer so I dialed the number back. When I realized it was Consumer Collection Management I turned on my recorder. I told her I had been disconnected and she informed me my file had been noted that I refused to cooperate and so the collector disconnected the call. I told her that there wasnt enough time for that to have transpired as the call was a few seconds in duration. I then stated my understanding that they should not be contacting me while this account was in dispute. She told me who they worked for and that the collections would continue regardless. She stated that they had been sending notices about this to an address on XXXX XXXX at which I have never lived. I told her this again as I had told them on previous occasions when they called and on their call of XX/XX/XXXX when they asked to verify my address. They knowingly continue sending notices to a place I have never lived and they keep telling me that will note my file that I refuse to cooperate. When I try to clarify they tell me they can not discuss the debt and hang up.

Consumer Collection XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX This debt collector engaged in abusive, deceptive, and unfair threatening practices of the FDCPA which it prohibits. They furnished this account that we didnt agree upon and I didnt sign an agreement on. A legal contract is signed by two parties and I didnt participate in any of it. The call came from this phone number : XXXX ( my XXXX said the location of that number is XXXX, TX ) and they claimed to be a debt collections agency called CONSUMER COLLECTIONS. They claimed that I had a XXXX XXXX done on XX/XX/2018 by XXXX XXXX and that XXXX sold my late bill to them. The bill was for {$480.00} and they said that there were late charges tacked on to it. They had an old address and claimed the bills had been going there. They also said they'd take {$100.00} off if I paid today, right now, otherwise the bill would be " sent in '' ( to where? ) and it would increase. They did not take credit cards, only debit cards. I called XXXX XXXX and they said they did not have an open invoice, nor could they find the record for XX/XX/2018 of a service performed. I called CONSUMER COLLECTIONS back and they said that's because XXXX no longer owns my records CONSUMER COLLECTIONS does, and XXXX does not have my info because they no longer own the data. I asked XXXX to share with me all of the debt collections agencies they've worked with since 2018 and none of them are CONSUMER COLLECTIONS. When I called them back, they were very aggressive with me and said they'd send my debt to all of the credit agencies and send it in " for judgement ''. I have no idea what that means. I also asked them for their website, which they said they did not have because they're not required to, as they don't sell any product. They would not send me the bill in question until after I made my payment.

I called Consumer Collection reguarding a letter I received to settle a debt on XX/XX/22. I spoke with someoneXXXXXXXX ( I think ) she explained to me that I have 3 accounts. I setup to pay the {$19.00} account on XX/XX/22 which I paid and stated I would pay {$270.00} on XX/XX/22. I asked for a settlement for the third account of {$450.00} and was informed that I would receive a call back with an update on if it was approved. I called back on XX/XX/22 and spoke to XXXX XXXX to inquire about settlement offer and that I was expecting to receive a phone call. I was informed that this agency doesn't call customers back and that she does see the previous note but not an update on if the offer was approved or not. I asked to settlement the third account again and was informed she will send the request in. I asked when I should call back and was informed on XX/XX/22. I received a call from a woman by the name of XXXX who states she was calling regarding my settlement offer and that it was approved for {$310.00} and that I had to pay it by the end of this month in order to get the offer and not have the account be put on my credit report. I stated I was not told this and she states all calls are recorded. I again state I was not told that I had to pay this by the end of the month and I hung up the phone.

I received two letters in the mail today, XX/XX/XXXX, from Consumer Collection Management IncXXXX in XXXX XXXX, MO. One was addressed to me, XXXX XXXX, and the other to my son XXXX. I called the agency immediately because we have never been to the dentist that the agency is representing ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, MI ). Furthermore, we have insurance through my husbands work so there is no possible way we could have an outstanding bill without receiving a letter from our insurance company or the dentist ( Our dentist is XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX ). When I called the collection agency to get information, I was told I was rude and was hung up on. I called again and I spoke with the manager named XXXX who laughed at me when I said I felt I was being scammed. He badgered me and spoke over me repeatedly. I dont find receiving a collection letter from a place Ive never been humorous nor something I should regard as no big deal. He dismissively said they could send me an itemized bill but couldnt tell me over the phone because of HIPPA. Its outrageous and I still think Im being scammed. I want immediate answers. When I XXXX XXXX XXXX, there is no location in XXXX XXXX, Mi which further adds to my suspicion.

I have filed numerous times to get these removed. They do get removed and then the Collection agency puts them right back on. What 's worse, this is an unlicensed collection agency. Evidently, XXXX does not require licensing, but in order to collect debt in the state of XXXX, a collection agency must first be licensed in XXXX. I believe this company to unscrupulous. Today while pouring over paperwork I realized the original debtor being claimed is wrong. The account we paid in full is being reported as completely different company in an effort to retrieve monies not owed to them.. I believe this to be fraud, or am I wrong? My husband and I paid this debt in full and the debtor listed with the collection agency is wrong. I have sent a legal request for documentation in writing, but I doubt I will receive a response. They can not produce what does not exist. I stand by my claim that this is fraudulent activity on the part of the collection agency and their client. Our agreement was with XXXX of XXXX, not XXXX. I 'm getting older and it 's hard to keep track of names after awhile, but I eventually I get there and remember.

After renting a house in an economically challenged neighborhood, my wife and I were forced to remove ourselves from the property due to ongoing threats of extreme violence from the neighbors. In doing so, we had to make arrangements with the property owner, XXXX. Our agreement was a verbal one and we were to receive a written statement, I am not sure where it went as we moved in a hurry. The agreement included cash as well as all of our brand new appliances ( cash value was more than the debt ). We just need to get out. A year had passed when we first noticed a collection company reporting we owed someone we not aware of. We never received a written statement of this debt, just that it seemed to appear out of nowhere. Unfortunately, this debt gets removed and the replaced. Now the collection is still ongoing and still noting in writing from them, I have sent a register letter to acquire this information in writing. The ongoing effort to collect a debt that we do not owe is being done by a company that is not licensed to collect debts here in the of Florida!

This is pertaining to complaint XXXX-XXXX. All this information you provided in the previous response is irrelevant at this point. I am for one a SHE and not a HE. I am exercising my consumer rights and you HAVE NOT provided me with the correct validation documents requested. Please provide me with the requested validation documents in the attached letter below via mail. If this information is not provided i will have to take this to litigation and also file a complaint with FTC and my local attorney general 's office. I am keeping really good records of all my requests and documents and will use them if this has to be taking further. I would hope that you will honor my rights as a consumer as well not violate the FDCPA and provide the request information. If this can not be provided simply Remove it from my credit profile. Received a debt collection notice from Consumer Collection Management , Inc in regards to a small medical bill which had already been paid. Sent a dispute letter to the collection agency indicating that I disputed the debt on the grounds that it was already paid. Collection agency responded that the debt was still being actively collected. Agency furnished an undated statement of account which they allege was the result of their verification of debt performed pursuant to 151692g ( b ). As the statement of account is undated, it can not be used as verification. Furthermore the statement contained numerous errors. Collection agency failed to perform a thorough review to identify these errors. As such, the agency did not in fact comply with 151692g ( b ). The purpose of this complaint is to lodge grievance against Consumer Collection Management for failure to perform a reasonable verification of debt as required by 151692g ( b ).

Consumer Collections sent me notification of medical debt from XXXX XXXX for {$1000.00}. I started to pay the amount on monthly basis. After four months of payments, they sent another debt collection notice with a different account number for a very substantial amount midway between the next due payment date. The following week or so, they sent a reminder where they had combined the new amount under the original agreement and did away with the new account number. I emailed them to question the validity of their being able to do this. They would not discuss it over email. I will be XXXX years old, and while I was paying something on the bill to XXXX directly, it did not meet their required amount of $ 700-1000 per month, which I could do not. They charged off the debt and Consumer Collections picked it up. Are they able to change amount once you start paying on the original notice

Upon recently viewing my credit report I saw a collection account from Consumer Collection Manangement. However, after reviewing my records, I was unable to nd any documentation of any contractual relationship between Consumer Collection Management and me which makes them a person entitled to enforce a commercial claim against me. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX i mailed XXXX a letter advising them i had no knowledge of the account. This company responded providing me with account statements that had the dates whited out and deleted making it impossible for me to cross reference the dates and amounts owed against my records. I plan on filing a complaint with the Attorney general and Federal trade commission.

My husband had medical debts that the collection agency had put in my name even though I was not on the medical bill. My husbands only income was social security and I was working so that is why they put his debt under my name. I do not think this was fair. My credit report is affected and I have repeatedly asked them to take my husband 's bills off of my account and they have not done so. He has since passed away and they still have his debt on my account. I need help. I do not know where to turn.

Consumer Collection Management has been removed from one credit report a few times, but it keeps coming back, after it gets investigated and then removed. They have also made slight changes each time they resubmit it to the 3 reporting bureaus. Each time we have asked for proof of the debt and all we have ever heard, is because we have a form?! Where is the proof? Without proof they get removed, but then they come right back.
