Every time I try to delete hard inquiries on my XXXX report they come back the next few hours and say that the inquiries will remain on my credit report, they are not investigating the inquiries. The inquiries that I did not approve. I never approved of these inquiries. On my credit reports, there is a block/freeze on all three reports. These companies manage to get into my credit report without my prior approval. I was never contacted by either of these companies to check my credit. This is identity theft. XXXX and XXXX notified me of the dark web that shows all of my information out there. Even some of my children 's information is out there alone with mine. Most information out there is false and I did not give these companies my approval to check my credit. I am a victim of identity theft. My name is out there on the dark web and my social security number but some of the addresses are different and some other information out there is incorrect. Most importantly my name and birthday are out there and that's the main source. I did not give these companies my permission to check my credit. My credit has a block/freeze on them and no one contacted me to open up my credit files, they just went in and check my credit without prior approval from me. this is identity theft. I never gave them permission to check my credit.

I want to state that this is complaint is from the Actual Consumer XXXX XXXX and not a third party of any kind. I looked at my XXXX credit report recently and found an unauthorized inquiry reporting on my credit report. I have several pulls that I did not sign or allow to imitate. There should only be one, from the company we chose at the end and when I spoke to the others, I did not authorize them to do hard pulls ( and sometimes multiple hard pulls ). I did not realize they did this until applying for a credit card months later. Check your credit report when getting a mortgage, there are surprise hard pulls that I did not authorize. The three credit reporting companies won't go engage the companies with the pulls for me and I have to do the work for something they did and I did not authorize at all. This may be common practice, but then its greed and laziness. These companies already leech and get loans at prime rates just to skim off the top and repackage for XXXX and XXXX to help devaluate the dollar.

" I am a victim of identity theft. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, we are all facing which has me sitting still at home and I saw the recent news about the multiple XXXX XXXX breaches. I decided to look at my credit reports from the 3 major credit bureaus and found that someone had used my Identity. I have no idea how the theft took place. I also have no knowledge of any suspects. They call my number, and ask for me. When I ask who is calling they say it is about a personal matter. They do not answer who they are. They proceed to ask me for personal information ( address, date of birth ) while refusing to say who they are or why they are calling me. I told them to send a letter to the address on file and never call me again. They continue to call me. When I dial the number back I get a company called Universal Credit Services. I have been in writing letters to the main XXXX collection agencies and the companies that have been putting the inquiries on my report that I'm not aware of. They are telling me they can not be remove and are verified.
