Around XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX i made a big mistake & borrowed from a couple of pay day loans. They were paid back and over a period of time requested me to re borrow. Unfortunately, shortly afterwards, I started receiving calls from different people with heavy XXXX accents requesting money. At first, i thought they were from the same company i had paid off since it was done on line. Unfortunately, I did not realize until someone called saying i still owed on my pay day loan. As soon as I pay another person would call threatening me for payment. Once asked for what loan, they would just for a pay day loan and I was going to be arrested. There has been times, money was taking from my account without authorization. Once I realized what was going on, I went into my bank. The bank inform me to be careful because they have seen this happen to other customers in the past. It was suggested to make a hold on my account. Prior to me realizing what was going on, I even purchased prepaid cards to avoid problems and overdrafts to my account. I realized my information was given out to other company 's through the web because before I knew it, there were several lenders claiming i owe them. At this time, I started hearing about more and more people getting scammed. Therefore, I went to the police department and filed a complaint. I gave the names and numbers of different representatives. I was embarrased and was told I should have never borrow that way and especially sharing my information on the web. Unfortunately, I had gone through a separation and was in a financial dilema. However, I was advised to close my accounts and be careful with the internet. I admit during that time, I was not that familiar with how the internet worked. I called credit bureau 's and put security freeze/fraud alert on my accounts as advised. To date, it still remains. I feel it is time to take action because about 3 weeks ago I just received a call from Concord Resolution who now say {$480.00} is owed and they represent the company that got me the loan in XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX. They claim since my account was closed they could not collect. Again, this is strange because why i have to pay a company who got me a loan for what I borrowed when fees are already included. Lord in behold, XX/XX/XXXX, a call from a XXXX XXXX who represent a company say {$500.00} is due. I truly want to stop this because i spent a few thousands in the past. I plan to retire and can not redo this XXXX again. It effected emotionally and financially as well. Continental representative could not give me the name or the address of the company. I will look back and give names & phone numbers I guess when needed. I have so many names & numbers until it is confusing and very stressful to me. I would never borrowed in this manner and not pay what i owe. Please help me.

Today XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I received a call from Concord Resolutions Phone Number XXXX. They left me a voice mail with a claim number to use when I contact them. I returned their call never using the claim number. Someone by the name XXXX answered and knew exactly who I was. XXXX recited the last XXXX digits of my social security number and what bank I use. XXXX stated to me that this was a call to collect a debt that I had taken out with his client in XXXX XXXX. XXXX also stated that I had a payday loan with his client XXXX XXXX who was now trying to collect. I asked him when did this loan occur because I have no information about a XXXX XXXX. XXXX them proceeded to state that they ( XXXX XXXX ) was a third party company to my original lender. He also said even if you pay your original lender, the third party has to be paid because the loan is generated from numerous lenders. I then asked XXXX who is the original lender. XXXX stated there was no other lender listed but XXXX XXXX. I then said to XXXX if XXXX XXXX is the third party you have to have information on the original lender. XXXX paused, then stated it was not listed. I stated to XXXX anything I do I receive PAID IN FULL letters from the consumer, so who is the original lender. XXXX then said to me to send him all my paid in full letters, him and his supervisor will go through them and find my lender and remove me from there call list. I explained to XXXX I was not sending him or anyone else my private information. If you do not have the information where this originated from there is nothing I can do for you. He paused, stated he understood and claimed he would be talking this matter over with his supervisor and would be giving me a call back on Friday. I asked to speak with the supervisor and that did not happen. After waiting about ten to fifteen minutes from hanging up with XXXX, I called back and the phone just rang with no voice answering machine to leave a message. I then blocked my number and called back ten minutes later and the phone just rang again with no machine stating who you called or any identifying information that represents a company. I then contacted the consumerfinance.gov who lead me to the ftc. XXXX did n't retrieve any important information. I changed my bank account number years ago so they were not successful in gaining access to that. I also found it weird because Concord Resolutions called my home phone number which is n't on any past papers I filled out because I just changed my number last XXXX. Also I always use my cell phone number as my primary because I 'm more reachable. Thank You in advance for letting me state my concerns. I want to help protect others from scams like this.

I have received multiple phone calls from different phone numbers. Sometimes they leave a message and sometimes they do n't. When the message is left it states if I do n't contact them legal action will be taken, and I will be served at my place of employment. The last phone call I received the message said I was a person of interest. I called the number back due to wanting to find out what this was all about. The guy said he was calling from Concord Resolution and his name is XXXX. I would not verify my social security number so he asked if I lived at the address that was listed. I agreed to verify my address. He said I owed money to a pay day loan company called XXXX XXXX, XXXX. He said they attempted to collect the debt multiple times but have not been successful. I informed him they never sent me any paper work claiming I needed to pay a debt. I have never taken a pay day loan out with XXXX XXXX, XXXX. He said this is the last chance I have to pay {$520.00} and if I do n't pay it today he will have to say it was not collected and my wages will be garnished. I informed him until I receive paper stating that they are filing a lawsuit or filing a claim against me in court they can not garnish my wages. The number XXXX gave to call him back was XXXX. There have been multiple other numbers that have called also, I did not save them. He also wanted to verify any banking information, I informed him I will not say yes or no, because that is not valid. He said the loan was taken out in XXXX XXXX, 2013. I informed XXXX he needed to send me the paper work he has in front him so I can verify it was legitimate. He has still not sent me anything.

I applied for and received a {$500.00} payday loan in XX/XX/XXXX. Although it was for {$500.00}, payment was received from XXXX different lenders for {$250.00} each. Payments were combined into XXXX loan by the lenders and paid in full in XX/XX/XXXX. I started receiving automated phone calls from XXXX stating that I needed to call regarding an important matter in XX/XX/XXXX. I called and spoke to a gentleman at Concord Resolution who claimed that the debt was not paid and that I now owed over {$800.00}, but that he would " cut me a deal and accept {$640.00}. '' I informed him those loans were paid years ago and to stop calling me. He said they would continue calling until I paid them and that if not, they would garnish my wages and sue me. I told him to go ahead and get his lawyers and I 'll get mine - his final words were " see you in court. " I did not hear from them for several months after this incident until last week. The same recorded calls are now being made to my cell phone XXXX times per day and to my WORK phone number, which is internal and unlisted, calling as many as XXXX times per day, even XXXX times in the same minute. I have no idea how they got this number. This is harassment and is absolutely unacceptable. I do not owe any money to these people and if I did, why would it not be reported on my credit? These calls need to stop and someone needs to address their aggressive, threatening collection tactics.

This has been going on for three ( 3 ) years, and I have filed more than a dozen complaints against various companies for fraudulent attempts to collect a phantom debt related to a payday loan that never took place. Concord Resolution is the latest company that is calling me, and their robocalls are replete with violations. 1. The caller is not identified in 4 of 6 messages. 2. None of the calls inform me of an attempt to collect a debt. 3. All messages indicate I have done something that is subject to legal action. At least one recording suggests I have my attorney return the call. 4. All are robocalls to my cell phone, and my number has been registered on the National Do Not Call List since XXXX XXXX. This non-existent debt was a product of the XXXX XXXX Scam in XXXX XXXX, and these calls have continued since then. The money these scammers are trying to collect was never borrowed by me, and it was never owed by me. I am attaching six ( 6 ) voicemails I received within 2 weeks. All six recordings include my first and last name to identify me, yet 4 of 6 calls do not identify the company leaving the message.

I have been receiving calls from several different numbers stating that I am " a person of interest '' and must file a statement within 48 hours or the case will be forwarded for further legal action. The first time I actual spoke with a person, I was asked to verify my SS and I refused. I told them to stop calling me and that if this involved a debt they needed to contact my attorney who works with XXXX XXXX XXXX. ( I work in the XXXX ), I gave them all the contact information to reach XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, which they have not done. They continued to call me and leave automated messages on my phone. When I call them back after a few weeks, I had to verify the last XXXX of my SS. Then the man ( XXXX XXXX ) said I took out a payday loan in XXXX 2013 from XXXX XXXX, and still owe {$480.00} on it, how do I plan to take care of this debt. I said I never had this loan and have never heard of XXXX XXXX. I told him he would have to talk to my attorney, and that once I got validation of the original loan I would have my attorney call him. He claims to be with Concord Resolution and his numbers are XXXX and XXXX.

For four ( 4 ) years my family and I have been receiving harassing and threatening phone calls from a debt collector who has gone by the name of " XXXX ' or " Concord Resolutions ''. If we speak to them they refuse to give us info. on who they are, where they are, what number they are calling from, etc. ( they call from hidden numbers ) what the debt is, etc. All they will say is they are looking for my Sister, concerning a pay day loan debt. They threaten legal action against us if we do not cooperate, tell us a deputy is on his way to pick us up, etc. They are calling all of my immediate family and now are starting to call in laws! They have left messages to call # XXXX and speak to a XXXX XXXX but a woman has called also, refusing to identify herself. They call all day long on all of our numbers. And it 's not limited to the adults. They are calling the teenagers / children 's cell phone numbers as well. We have no idea how they are getting these phone numbers. Once you speak to them and start asking questions or advise them to stop they seem to " ramp '' up the harassment. Like it is a game to them.

On XXXX, someone from phone number XXXX as well as phone number XXXX ( " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' ) contacted me stating I received a " pay day loan '' in XX/XX/XXXX and when they tried to extract repayment from my account, access was denied. They stated they are pursuing legal action since I " have not paid back the loan. '' Also, again on XXXX, someone from phone number XXXX ( " Concord Resolutions '' ) called me with the same story. However, there were XXXX different " loans '' with this call, XXXX from XXXX and another from XXXX. I have received numerous calls before XXXX, but I did not document those calls ; I thought they would just stop since I have n't applied for any types of loans. Both my husband and I have checked with our bank and there were no such deposits of money or loans issued. Also, as per the XXXX credit report bureaus, there have been no inquiries or loans applied for in the last XXXX years. I have filed a police report, and I block these numbers from calling me. However, people end up calling me anyway from different numbers each time, claiming the same story.

Hi, I 've been getting harassing calls almost daily for months ... The most recent ones are from a company they call " Concord Resolution '' in the voice mails and it 's a recorded robo voice when they leave a voice mail. They are very rude and threaten to pursue lawsuits for a supposed payday loan which I 've never made, straight up extortion. I 've asked them to NOT call me anymore that my number is registered on the do not call list via XXXX and telling them via phone to add me to their donotcall list because of all of these ridiculous calls. They call at all hours of the day. Today they called at XXXX and again about an hour ago. I receive calls like this daily. They have various phone numbers each time and I am tired of being threatened by people who I do not owe and should n't have my phone number in the first place. These are a couple numbers used often. XXXX. XXXX. XXXX. XXXX so on. Number 1 is the one that 's been calling multiple times within the last few days.

I received a threatening phone message from Concord Resolutions XXXX asking me to contact them regarding a " sealed matter '' or I would face legal action. When I contacted them they had the last XXXX digits of my social security number and an address that I lived at many years ago. They told me that I owed money for a Payday loan taken out online in XXXX. They were vague about the dates and the original creditor. They had the last XXXX digits of my bank account listed as XXXX, which is not my bank account and was not my bank account in XXXX or XXXX. I do not think that I ever had a bank account with those numbers. They agreed to stop contacting me until they sent verification of the debt, which I received yesterday via email. The original creditor listed in XXXX XXXX, a company with no contact information or online presence. I am not sure if this is a debt collection scam or a legitimate debt collector collecting on a fraudulent debt.

Received several harassing phone calls from persons saying they work for Concord Resolutions , Inc in XXXX NY ; however they gave a number unrecognized by XXXX XXXX or XXXX for me to call back. Caller stated that they had a client who named me as a person of interest in a legal matter. So I called back and they stated I owed a payday loan from XXXX 2013 from XXXX that was sold to their client XXXX in XXXX 2013. I asked why did it take so long and the representative stated because they tried to resolve the matter and I never responded. I have always responded to any debt I have. Apparently they called my brother and my mother ( I never give out their information nor list them on anything ) so that is a red flag. But the person stated they are going to garnish my wages if I do not make arrangements with them within 48 hours. If no response then they would send it for further legal action to be completed including jail time.

I never took any loan out, ever, from the company they alledge has hired them to collect the debt. They say I authorized a loan XXXX 2011 from " XXXX payday loan ''. I have never done so. They claim to be " concord resolution inc ''. The man would not let me question anything, talked over me loudly and rudely, and knew my social, which he said in its entirety over the phone. They also had an old address and the bank I belong to. I was threatened if I didnt pay XXXX in 10 days that my wages would be garnished and I would be taken to court, where a judge would impose my delinquint balance at 300 % interest and I would have to pay their attourney fees and court costs. He also threatened that he has " the best attorney '' so good luck contesting this. Im absolutely freaking out right now. I hung the phone up on them and never received a call back which makes this more suspicious than it already is. Please help!!

For approximately a week now I have been receiving phone calls from a company named Concord Resolutions on my residence and work phones. After Googling the number XXXX I saw that his company is trying to scam people alleging that they owe a payday loan ( which I do not ). These people leave and automated voice message with a call back number. When I called back the woman asked me to verify the last XXXX of my social security number which I declined to do. At that point she became irate and cited the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act prevented her to give me any information as to why she was calling. I told her that the only information that I would confirm is my name and nothing else. At which point she became irate and hung up on me. These calls are becoming annoying. I feel that I am being harassed.

Company alleged that I owed $ XXXX+ on a payday loan, despite the fact I have never received a payday loan. They were extremely aggressive and hostile on the phone and threatened to take legal action. They never disclosed the " mini-miranda '' or that this call was to collect a debt. They also called daily, sometimes multiple times, leaving messages each time they called. When I asked to receive debt verification, they claimed that they had already mailed documents previously, but I never received any such documents. They refused to send me any documentation or verification and only got more hostile on the phone. Most distressing was that they had personal information including name, address, bank information, and social security number. This was most definitely a debt collection scam.

I received numerous voicemails from " Concord Resolution '' in XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with XXXX XXXX at Concord Resolution who informed me that I owed a {$300.00} payday loan from XX/XX/XXXX. They had most of my personal information including last XXXX of social, name, and address. I informed XXXX XXXX that this was not my debt. He said he would mark the file as my refusing to pay. On XXXX XXXX I sent them a verification of debt letter via certified mail. They have not responded nor provided any further information. I have never received a payday loan from any company. I reviewed my bank records and all other information and this debt is not mine. This is a fraudulent attempt by Concord Resolution or " XXXX '' to steal money from unknowing consumers.

This has been going on for years, even after asking them to stop calling and telling them they have the wrong number they keep on calling. Whoever they are, they call me asking for my ex-wife. We have been divorced for years, but I do know that she has no debt like what these callers are describing, and with each call they say it is something different. One day they say it 's a payday loan, then a medical debt, then something else. Sometimes they just demand money from me, even though it 's not in my name and will not tell me what it is for. They say if it 's not paid I will go to jail, etc. They have called my grandparents and other relatives. Recently, all of these calls have been coming from XXXX, and they say they are Concord Resolutions.

Repeated phone calls from at least two different phone numbers to my work phone. Calls are made by an automated system and instruct me to call back a certain number. Keep getting daily phone calls and voicemails from XXXX indicating to call back that I 'm involved in a very important matter for over a week.. So finally called back. Lady indicates their customer has contacted them wanting to be paid back for a payday loan. Would not tell me who she was or the customer. Also indcated that when applying for payday loans ( which I 've done and paid off well over a year ago ) that there us a XXXX company involved that also gets paid but is either not disclosed or in very fine print. She said she would email me documentation but has yet to do so although has called again. I googled the number and see many complaints of same voice mails and apparently part of a scam.

Contacted by Concord XXXX, XXXX stating I owed {$300.00} from an outstanding payday loan from XXXX 2011 from XXXX XXXX. They had the last XXXX digits of my ss #. I stated this was not my debt but they stated their was state and federal confirmation that this was a valid debt and collection procedures would be starting. I tried to get them to explain how I resolve this matter since it was obviously a scam and they hung up on me. Tried to call back but they said they would transfer me to my case manager even though they did n't even ask for my name! Sounded like the same guy that hung on me the first time I called. Was on hold and no one ever came on the line.

Concord resolution has been harassing my phone, employers phone and other members of my family claiming that I took out an online payday loan over four years ago ( 2011 ). they are claiming that I owe the amount of XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX dollars. I received a voicemail from XXXX, but was only able to discern that they wanted me to call them back as the majority of the message was cut off. I returned the call and spoke with XXXX XXXX. He claimed to be with a company called Concord Resolutions, and stated that I owe a balance of {$590.00} to a company called XXXX XXXX. Knowing that this was a fraudulent debt collector, I immediately attempted to get as much contact information as I could. Prior to ending the call, the representative asked if I was willing to settle the matter voluntarily or not. I told him no, that I was filing a report with the CFPB, and ended the call.

Concord Resolutions claims I owe on a payday loan from 2012. I never in my life took out a payday loan and they are calling my cell, which I blocked and signed up for the do not call registry. Also, now they are contacting place of business. They do not stop, and somehow know my last XXXX of my SS #, my address, the last XXXX of my old bank account #, and went as far as saying my sisters name. They have never sent me anything in the mail regarding a debt even when I asked them to. I also told them to email me, which they have my email address somehow as well, but have never emailed me a thing.

A PayDay Loan Company is trying to send my " account '' to collections and Concord Resolution Inc contacted me on their behalf attempting to get my SSN, Bank Info, ect. XXXX. I have n't received a PayDay Loan. XXXX. None of this shows in my credit report. XXXX. Concord Resolution keeps calling me incessantly with an automated message to call them and " file a formal statement on my behalf ''. XXXX. They are n't giving me the name of the Pay Day Loan Company that is supposedly launching this complaint. They are just threatening me to try and obtain my banking information.

I keep getting the same calls saying I owe XXXX different debt, when I ask for information on them they wo n't give me any infor unless I give verify my social security number. I have been receiving multiple calls from several numbers claiming to be from Concord Resolutions. They say they will not give me any information until I verify my SSN with them. I asked for the debt information and their address. They told me New York State and then when I asked again that they were in XXXX but refused to give any further information. When I requested that I get validation of the debt prior to speaking with them further he hung up on me. Calls from XXXX. I know what debts I owe and this is not a valid debt.

Several collection agencies such as XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), Concord Resolution ( XXXX ), keep contacting my cellphone, work phone and even my employer 's number claiming i have an unpaid online payday loan. I asked for proof but never got any in the mail or email. They know all my personal information and tried to charge {$480.00} from my bank account as settlement. Fortunately, I was able to put a stop payment on it.

'' When I called back today, XXXX XXXX said he was from Concord Resolution and said I needed to speak about " sealed documents. The debt company has been calling me for the last few weeks. So on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX I called the number ( XXXX ) and they are telling me that in XX/XX/XXXX XXXX there was a payday loan taken out in my name. They had my bank name but not the right acct. number and my S.S. #. They would not tell me who singed for the loan or how much it was for. I have never taken out a payday loan. A representative from a company named Concord XXXX phoned me claiming I owed for a pay day loan from XXXX. The representative could not identify the company where the loan originated. She knew my address and said numerous attempts were made to serve me a summons. She also claimed they were representing XXXX XXXX, a clearinghouse for collecting pay day loans. My credit union account shows no record of any pay day loan during that time.

My place of employment received another phone call from Concord Resolution after being told not to call them so I called Concord Resolutions and spoke to XXXX XXXX XXXX. He stated that I took out a payday loan a few years ago but did n't say who the loan was with, how much I supposedly owe and after asking him to send me correspondence in the mail about the loan, he refused saying that there was no need to do so.

This phone number is frequently calling me. States they are from Concorde Resolution and that I need to place a " statement of verification ''. I checked with my state 's department of finance and this company or number is not registered as a legitimate company. They have called me every day. These scammers keep changing their number and keep trying to get me to return their calls. They call multiple times a day to my job and to my cell phone.
