We started our refinance process the middle of XXXX. We were told we would close by the middle of XXXX. Then we were told we would close by the end of XXXX. We were working with InterCAP lending. The agents assistant, XXXX, told us that our payoff was good through the first week of XXXX and we would be able to sign papers to close the end of XXXX. The end of XXXX rolled around and the papers had not gotten done yet. I had asked her more than once if we needed to make the loan payments and she told us not to worry about it because we would be signing the end of the month and the payoff statement date was good through the first week of XXXX. So after the first week of XXXX rolled around we made the house payment because we hadnt signed papers, but the damage was done. Because of this delay both of our credit reports are destroyed.So we now have a late car payment and a late house payment That we can not fix. We havent missed payments on anything in years until this. We shouldve never listen to the advice of this company. What they told us would take 3 to 4 weeks, ended up actually taking 8 to 9 and now we can not do it. They pulled our credit at least three times and that third time showed the late payment putting a stop to everything. So now they declined us the refinance.Those payments didnt have to be late but we were advised not to worry about them because we will be closing by the end of XXXX And it would just throw off the payoff statements anyway. They would not communicate and they gave bad advice that destroyed our credit. Because of the negligence of this company. My husbands and my credit are destroyed. And now we can not refinance anywhere because of the damage that has been done

I reach XXXX XXXX from Intercap lending on Friday, XX/XX/2020 by the phone. We've talked about my loan application, and in the end, I agreed to upload my document through the app she sent its name. She was very polite before receiving the information and run my credit! Even she stopped in the road to respond to the phone as she said, unlike after credit check! She is not responsible for the job she is doing. She believes she should respond to those who may be a good deal. I've been waiting for days to hear from her after the credit check. The first time I call after a credit check, she said I'm working on the type of loan that may be a good fit for you. However, in my second call which was after days later, she said : " I'm not working on your file as I explained the reason on the other day. '' She looks very confused, I guess she talks with someone else the other day! To summarize : - I believe that is my right to know what she found in my wife and my credit report. I have her written text that she said we could go over my credit report by the phone. - When she confirmed that we could go over to the credit report in a text message, I respond in the same way : " Let 's do that when you finalized my approval. '' This text is evidence of her confusion as she claimed she already notified me about her decision. '' - I send all documents needed professionally through the company 's app and email, and I expect to hear a proper response after several times follow up. I need to receive a professional letter or email about the decision instead of receiving a text that says : " It looks like we are not a good fit ... ''!!

On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted my mortgage loan servicer ( Intercap Lending ) to inquire about closing my escrow account with them so that I could assume the payments myself as they failed to properly assess my previous years taxes resulting in a greater than expected shortage on my escrow account. I spoke to their VP of default servicing who assisted me in removing this account and ensured me that I would be receiving a check in the mail for the current balance on my escrow account ( {$1700.00} ) so that I could apply that towards my property taxes. On XX/XX/XXXX I was approved for the closure. Per CFR 1024.34 I was advised that I would be receiving my check in the mail within 20 days. I contacted their office on XX/XX/XXXX to inquire on the status of the refund and did not receive a reply. I attempted to contact them again on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX again did not receive a reply. Today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I was able to speak to a representative and was advised that no escrow refund checks or checks of any type were approved to be sent back to me. I was told to contact the individual whom I worked with however he is out of town and unresponsive. My county tax bill has been sent to me directly and I am to make payment within the next month or face penalties. The loan servicer will not release a check and is currently in violation of CFR 1024.34 as the 20 day deadline has passed.

In XXXX of 2022, we asked our servicer to help us with the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX forbearance. We were falling short on money due to covid, and lack of work. The forbearance was set up, and we requested documentation on how the forbearance would work, how it would affect us : such as repayment and any changes to our mortgage. They promised time and time again that they would email and reach out to us with this information. At least ( 5 ) separate occasions we called and got the same response : that they would email the info. No written documentation was ever sent, pertaining to the future. We were only given verbal reassurances that all the debt would be added to the end of our loan. We were fine with this, as we have plenty of time to save being new home owners. Now : we are back on track to paying our mortgage regularly, and we ask if we could have our PMI insurance removed as we have met our 25 % equity requirement. We were told to pay a fee, to have the house appraised ; so, we did. An individual came and took pictures, then told us at the end that he was not doing an official appraisal. The next thing we know, we received a letter from the servicer stating that we owe XXXX XXXX dollars, and that our mortgage is going to increase by a third from {$1600.00} to {$2200.00}. We can not afford this, and will probably end up in foreclosure in due time. What should we do?

My husband and I have been trying to get a 30-day late payment removed from our credit report because it is inaccurate. When we have called, we have been told multiple times from XXXX XXXX ( our current mortgage lender ) that their systems do not show ANY 30 day late payments on our account and confirmed that the payment in question was received well before the end of the month, yet they will not cooperate in getting it removed. I have been emailing with XXXX XXXX with XXXX, the person we were told to speak with regarding the misreporting, yet zero help has been given. Multiple times XXXX has told us she would get her XXXX to send us something, we have never heard back and are left reaching out time and time again with no results. As our current lender, they are doing this knowing that we are not able to get into a better, lower payment loan with this reporting on our credit. They are effectively trapping us in this loan. XXXX refuses to give us anything but her verbal confirmation that they do not show ANY 30 day late payments, and tells us to dispute. The issue is that they know that we are not able to do this refinance if there is dispute language on our credit around our current mortgage. We are completely trapped and are getting zero help. My mortgage company of 11years has in the last two years failed to provide the credit reporting agencies with accurate information. In fact rather not send any info at all. I have confronted them about this. I have been given a bill of goods by their reps including someone who claims to be the vice president of the XXXX office. She has sent several emails claiming an attempt to resolve the issue when I have learned thru talking directly to XXXX and the other credit report agencies, she has lied. This has become a standard for them. Send out excuses, deflect and deny any responsibility. In the past two years, a merger, or take over of the original mortgage company has occurred. After several months of being lied to by these individuals, I contacted the State 's Attorney General 's Office in XXXX, they agreed to look into this matter solely based on the fact that several other customers have made the same complaint against my mortgage company. My patience has run out and I need someone to force the compliance and laws governing this lender. The States Attorney Generals office of New Mexico is continuing to investigate this but I fear in talking to them, it wont be enough.

I received a fixed FHA mortgage XX/XX/XXXX with a payment of approximately {$1500.00} per month. XX/XX/XXXX I was notified by the mortgage company of an escrow shortage due to the facts according to mortgage company the property taxes had been initially incorrectly calculated upon my obtaining the mortgage. Taxes and insurance are impounded with mortgage payment. Due to being on a fixed income I was unable to pay shortage so the mortgage payment was increased to {$1800.00} per month XX/XX/XXXX. I looked at my account recently and the mortgage payment is schedule to increase to {$1900.00} per month beginning XX/XX/XXXX and I am unable to refinance either Streamline or otherwise at this time without having to bring in upwards of {$6000.00} to do so. Mind you this was supposed to be a fixed rate mortgage so I wondering what rights do I have to protest these increases as the miscalculations of property taxes was not my fault but I am suffering due to the mistakes of my mortgage company.

To whom it may concern, my mortgage is due on the XXXX of each month but I have a grace period of to the XXXX of the month. Intercap Lending Inc has me late on my credit report which is affecting me from being able to refinance with the company I wish to. In XXXX 2016 I had a hardship and my church paid my mortgage and the check cleared on XXXX XXXX. I have also never been 30 days past due for them to place this on my credit report. I believe this is in retaliation because I advise them to take my ex-husband off my deed and when doing so they stated I would have to refinance. Although I told them my divorce decree shows that I have been rewarded my home they stated that I would have to refinance. I am asking that they remove all negative late marks on my credit report immediately so I can refinance with another company. If they are stating that I have been past due over 30 days they should also be able to supply proof in which they received payment from me and my payments cleared.

I have always paid my mortgage half at the beginning of the month and half at the end to in order to help with my finances as I do not get paid on regular basis. After refinancing with XXXX XXXX for my mortgage, I was called by customer service asking me to pay the full amount by the XXXX of each month. I told customer service that I have paid ahead so there should be no reason to charge me a late fee I need to pay two times a month. I am not exactly sure of the dates of this conversion but I am thinking maybe around XX/XX/XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX. Recently ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I received a letter from XXXX stating as of XX/XX/XXXX they will no longer accept partial payments and any partial payments will be sent back to me.

My husband and I ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX ) have a mortgage with Intercap Lending and we pay XXXX a month. We acquired our home in XX/XX/XXXX. The three credit bureaus have not been reflecting our mortgage payments on either of our credit reports. We have contacted XXXX XXXX and they say they are reporting but when we contact the credit bureaus they do not see the information. We had a bankruptcy discharge in XX/XX/XXXX and since then we have had this issue. Please help us fix this issue since its affecting our credit.

During the 2021 I was in a forbearance plan for my mortgage with COVID-19. At the end of my forbearance plan we did a loan modification to be paid back what has been messed the service company than doing to my credit for no payments for 90 days which significantly impacted my credit. I filed an air through experience and they said no air was found I have tried to work with the mortgage company and keep getting the runaround.
