On XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX I was contacted from a phone number that was unrecognizable to me showing as XXXX. I answered the phone identifying as XXXX. The caller asked is this XXXX and I answered, yes. The caller then stated my date of birth of XX/XX/XXXX. I said, Hold on I am not verifying any information with you. The caller then states, I am not trying to verify any information I already have all of you information. I said, You know what I am not verifying any information or speaking to you further unless you can tell me who you are, where you are calling from, and what this call is in regard to. The caller then refused to verify any of that information, so I said, have a nice day! and hung up the phone. After I got off the phone, I looked up this number of XXXX online and it said it was a scam caller by the name of XXXX XXXX. This is reported online to happening to hundreds of other people. At this point I thought I was being scammed. I immediately downloaded XXXX XXXX and signed up for a 30-day free trial. The app immediately had a red warning stating that my personal information had been compromised to the dark web and to change all my username and passwords as a data breach had occurred from a website that had my information from years ago. Ultimately, I called the number back again and was put through to a voicemail stating I had reached the desk of XXXX XXXX and to leave a message. At this point I became extremely paranoid and scared that my identity was being stolen. Many scams had been recently reported that seemed very similar to what I was already experiencing. I became angry and confused and I felt helpless. The only thing I felt I had control to do was to keep calling back this number until they admitted who they were and why they were calling me. Upon calling back again a woman answered the phone who stated her name was, XXXX. At this point I assumed this was a man and a woman or couple from the dark web tying to steal my identity. I felt that I was not the only one they were scamming but possibly hundreds if not thousands of other people and this made me even more upset. I continued to call, call, and call. All the whole either the same man or woman would answer seeming completely deceptive only stating things like. You think this is all a game and you are about to find out. Or just stating my name in a creepy way. XXXX I felt as those these scam artists were very skilled, and I may be dealing with expert scam artists that would go to great lengths with trying to obtain my information to steal my identity or file income taxes under my name since I hadnt filed yet. Meanwhile 24-48 hours had past, and I continued to call them, and I continued to receive multiple calls from phone numbers from a XXXX or private number and none of which I answered. I then tried to call the scammers back but now it appeared they had blocked my number. I felt a sense of relief because I thought now just maybe they will leave me alone and not reach out to me for my private information again. At this point I know I must have made these scam artists very upset or angry to the point they would go to any length now to get what ever it was that they wanted. I received a call from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX with a voicemail stating, XXXX XXXX XXXX Police Department Officer XXXX asking me to give him a call as soon as possible. After listening to the message, I blocked the number. At this point I thought this was in fact not the police but XXXX XXXX impersonating the police. Now I was even more concerned and often complicated contacting the local authorities to report that I was a victim of harassment and a possible scam and now this guy is impersonating an officer. If you listen to the mans voice on the voicemail and the man who let me a voicemail stating, they were an officer they sounded too alike to reasonably decipher. I even listened to the message several times. We are now moving to XX/XX/XXXX. My father called me frantic and told me that the police had just contacted him and that they were trying to get a hold of me. My heart sank and now I was even more scared as I thought this scam artist was now contacting my family to obtain my private information. I expressed these same concerns to my father who then told me that it was legitimate and then told me why the police were looking for me. He told me the police said it was a debt collection agency that was attempting to contact me regarding a valid debt of XXXX XXXX At the time I couldnt even think of a debt that would have been sent to collections. I apologized to my father that this scam artist was contacting him and that that couldnt be the real police. Next my brother contacted me via XXXX messenger and told me I needed to call the police immediately or they were putting a warrant out for my arrest. He gave me the number to call and was really upset. In the meantime, I made an educated guess at the only reasonable debt that may have mistakenly gone to collections, and it would have been an ambulance bill. I contacted the ambulance billing company to inquire, and they confirmed it was sent to collections and it was sent to Commercial Acceptance in which they also provided a XXXX number to. The woman on the phone apologized and said it looks like it was sent in error to the collection agency. They were pulling back the debt and allowing me to pay it off in full off my HSA card. I found my original email and payment from several months ago and I thought they bill was taken care of. I paid on through my insurance carried website through a third-party payor with my HSA. For unknown reasons it was stuck in pending and the payment never processed. I ended up calling the ambulance billing department back on XX/XX/XXXX and paid the debt in full. XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I then called the officer and spoke with an XXXX XXXX. I explained everything that happened, and he advised me that the people contacting me were not scam artists but a debt collection agency. He told me to call and apologize and to work out the debt. I couldnt call them to work the debt out as they had blocked my number. And this was even more of a reason I thought it was a scam. I apologized to the officer that this was all a huge misunderstanding, but he seemed to not really want to hear much of anything I had to say. His mind was made up and he was charging me with a misdemeanor of harassment for excessively calling this business and then even accused me of having the business called via robot dialer over XXXX times. I told him this was not true and that I didnt even know what a robot dialer was. I did admit to calling excessively myself though and that I was upset, confused, and felt as though I was being scammed or my identity stolen. I didnt know how to explain why I reacted in the way I did but I did. He really didnt have any concerns about my claims. At this point I still even questioned whether this was real or a scam. The officer then attempted to verify my address which I didnt feel comfortable doing. He told me he was sending me a citation or summary offense in the mail and that I would need to plead guilty or not guilty and that I would need to come to court several hours away. I feel that a full investigation on both sides never occurred as I feel the charges are wrongful, frivolous, and do not merit a misdemeanor. I never once swore, made threats, hurt anyone, put anyone in danger. Is all I did was call multiple times. I feel as though I need to file a complaint on this officer. I did call the debt collection agency at a XXXX number and spoke with XXXX. I apologized for my multiple calls and advised her I thought her, and XXXX XXXX were scam artists and that is why I acted the way I did. I advised her that if they were not deceptive and just told me who they were and what they were calling about then I would have never acted that way and that none of this would have happened. This so-called debt collection agency was highly deceptive and broke The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They recorded me without my knowledge. They refused to tell me that the call was regarding collecting a debt and that any information would be used for the sole purpose of collecting said debt. They refused to identify who they were, where they were calling from, or what they were calling about. If I had known they were a debt collection agency none of this would have ever happened from my side. I never received a written notice of any debt or had any chance to dispute or validate the debt. It was abusive practice to cause harm or beyond a reasonable doubt the illusion that I was being scammed. I feel they were trying to scare me into giving them money or private information. The debt collection agency also told a law enforcement agency I owed an invalid debt and the police even shared this with my family. I feel that my privacy, security, and over all rights were violated by the police and the debt collection agency. I feel that they were working hand in hand together. I was never given any information at all. I feel that I need to contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the state attorney generals office to report this as well as obtain legal counsel criminally and civilly as now I feel as though my character has been attacked or defamed.

RE : Attentively review my formal writ composed declaration of not proven complaint misinformation that is all or in part : deficient of the adequate current status in the fullness of TRUTH, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, documented OWNERSHIP, certifiable RESPONSIBILITY, or otherwise irrefutable, complaint obligatory, and regulatory requisite reporting thereby mandating your immediate actions to rectify and remedy and any infractions behavior ( s ) by retaining or returning to demonstrate TRUE, CORRECT, COMPLETE, and COMPLAINT METRO 2 data field formatted reporting!!! I am a victim of identity- theft, I am writing to request that you block all accounts disputed as fraudulent on my credit reports with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX. This information does not relate to any transactions I have made. I did not give anyone authorization or consent to use my personal information. I hereby exercise my legal rights enacted by Congress and The Federal Trade Commission, which explicitly states when a victim of identity-theft dispute a fraudulent account on his/her credit report it shall be honored by all credit bureaus and all fraudulent information should be blocked within 4 days and proper notification shall be given to all data furnishers pursuant to section 605b of The Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act. Failure to comply shall lead to complaints being filed with The XXXX XXXX XXXX, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and Attorney General stating your companys unlawful collection practices, misrepresentation of creditworthiness, defamation of character, and noncompliance to abide by laws enacted by Congress to protect victims of identity-theft who's credit been impacted by acts of fraud. Therefore, my position is being clearly stated, these accounts do not belong to me, meaning that you are reporting inaccurate account information within my credit file. The fact that these are inaccurate account information means that you, this credit-reporting agency, are reporting incorrect accounts. 1. COML ACCEPT & {$1500.00} I am well aware of my rights as a consumer. The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires that you, the credit-reporting agency report accurate and/or correct account information within my credit file. My credit issues are very specific, these accounts and/or items do not belong to me. This means that you are reporting incorrect account information within my credit report. It is this in mind that I request that these listed accounts and items be Blocked and Deleted. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act FCRA, Section 1681c ( 2 ) Block of information resulting from identity theft. 1.Block. This is the issue, then I will explain in specifics. I required ambulance service XX/XX/XXXX. I was admitted to the Emergency Room at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, Pa. XXXX. I had subsequent tests, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, the following week. My point in telling you this, is all those hospital bills and testing bills were paid in full by my insurance XXXX. I have all the personal identification numbers, etc, if this is something you require later. I never received an ambulance bill from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Pa. XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX ext XXXX " XXXX ''. Yesterday, XX/XX/XXXX, a debt collection agency contacted me. Commercial Acceptance Company at XXXX. XXXX has been very helpful, polite, professional with my case. Tells me I have a delinquent bill of {$2000.00}. I ask what the billing is for, my credit score is XXXX, I pay my bills, I 'm a XXXX XXXX and I worked hard to establish credit. The bill is from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for the XX/XX/XXXX service. XXXX at Commercial Acceptance gave me all the information so I could start making phone calls.If this is not rectified by XX/XX/XXXX, it damages my credit report as a bad debt. She also put a hold on the accruing interest. The Ambulance bill is {$1400.00}. The collection fee is {$370.00} with the interest to date of {$130.00} for a total of {$510.00} in fees. That will not increase, as I the interest has stopped. First thing I do is call my insurance, XXXX XXXX. Always nice, always helpful. They never received the bill either from XXXX XXXX. Every other bill from the hospital was paid in a normal timely fashion. If I had seen a bill, I would have addressed it, if my insurance had received it, they would have paid the bill. Next I called the XXXX XXXX XXXX. I spoke to XXXX. The address, phone numbers, and insurance company for billing for me were all incorrect. This is where this issue starts. I asked where they got that information, upon delivering me to the emergency room they go to the hospital information desk, and take the my previous patient information. I have not been to that hospital since I was born, which was 22 years ago. I politely asked why they do n't verify that information, XXXX XXXX answer was " the ambulance ca n't stay, it 's how we do it, and it happens all the time ''. At that point I gave her all the correct insurance information, along with correct contact information. I understand the ambulance ca n't stay, and if this happens often, my thinking is you need a new system, which I did not say, she was polite, and going to " check into it ''. I also asked if I should call XXXX XXXX which is where they incorrectly sent the ambulance bill. XXXX was adamant, no. I thought that was odd. The next day, since this has me very concerned, XX/XX/XXXX, I started calling to double check things were corrected, and we were working towards resolving this. I called the collection agency, Commercial Acceptance first. Yesterday I gave them my correct insurance information, I wanted to confirm they indeed contacted XXXX XXXX, XXXX confirmed it was done. I called my insurance company XXXX XXXX to update them. I then called XXXX XXXX to double check if they had the information and were submitting the billing for services rendered on XX/XX/XXXX. I asked XXXX to repeat something, as I was taking notes. This seemed to upset her, and she asked why I was taking notes. I told her I am just trying to keep all the case facts correct to try to rectify this issue. I told her I did contact the incorrect insurance company XXXX XXXX XXXX they billed and I have the denial of service explanation of benefits, dated XX/XX/XXXX, addressed to them, which XXXX states she never received. She also stated she never received any " undeliverable, not known, unable to forward '' returned bills sent to the incorrect address with my name. She also stated she did not have contact with the collection agency yesterday, when they did indeed confirm contact. At this point, she just became irate and belligerent. Loudly explained to me, " it has only been 1 day, I have n't had the chance to speak to my office manager, these things take time ''. Well, they took the time to have a collection agency call me? I am working very hard to not have this effect my credit score, when all of this is not my fault, I remained polite, asked to speak to the office manager, I was told she was on another line. I said I would wait, XXXX stated it was going to be a long wait. I asked if the office manage would call me back, XXXX said yes, and terminated the call. I called back to ask if she wanted my phone number. I was on the phone with my insurance company when the office manager called back, she left an equally belligerent message. I called her back, unprofessional, rude, and condescending.And, I could not get her to give me her name. Now. The only thing I am trying to do here, is pay a bill that I, and my insurance company never saw. I guarantee, if either of us had received the bill, it would have been paid. If I have a bill, it gets paid, end of story .I do not want my credit score damaged which is what they are threatening me with for the extra {$510.00} in fees. This ambulance company, who acknowledged to making the mistakes, is in no hurry to make this right. I honestly do not feel the {$510.00} in fees they are adding on for collection services and interest should not be my responsibility or burden as I am a XXXX XXXX. I just want to pay my bill of {$1400.00} for services rendered and move on. Thank-you.

My XXXX year old mother received a call on XX/XX/XXXX from a " XXXX '' - XXXX XXXX. I haven't lived with my parents since XX/XX/XXXX. My phone number is listed publicly and easily found. I called and found it was Commercial Acceptance out of XXXX XXXX PA. They were collecting medical debt for XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX PA for me and my husband ( but the call was directed specifically to me ). XXXX XXXX has my correct phone number and it should have been passed on. My husband was out of work for 7 months, and we lost our good health insurance, and had to go on mine, which has a {$10000.00} deductible. I had to take my husband to the ER for severe XXXX, and I needed XXXX XXXX, leaving us with very high bills. I applied for XXXX XXXX earlier this year, after exhausting all other avenues available to me. I was approved this week for a 55 % write-off of my balances. Let me mention that I worked in bad debt collection for 7 years. I know the laws. I know the regulations. I immediately phoned XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, after receiving notice that I was approved for a partial write off so I could initiate a payment plan ( my husband returned to work in XX/XX/XXXX ). I was told that I was sent to collections in the process, and that I really shouldn't have been, and they would try to get my accounts recalled, and that it would take a few days, but they would get back to me. Today was when my mother got the call. I called the number back. I entered the extension, but it didn't take me to XXXX. I honestly do not remember the name of the woman it transferred me to. That woman couldn't explain why my mother was called. My mother is my emergency contact with the hospital after my husband, so all I can think of is that the agency pulled the wrong phone number. I informed her that my husband and I both have bills with XXXX, and we were approved for a charity write-off of 55 %. This is where it got ugly. She wanted me to set up a payment plan with her. I told her no, the accounts were going to be recalled and they shouldn't have been sent in the first place. She proceeded to tell me that I had to pay them, and pay them the full amount that was turned over. I told her no, that's not true, and I was not going to pay them the full amount because the hospital forgave 55 % of the balance. She told me that they had nothing to do with that, and they weren't accepting anything less than the full amount owed, and to take it up with the hospital. I told her no, that wasn't going to happen, and the accounts were going to be recalled. She interrupted me and told me that she needed to " educate me on how collections works '', and that accounts are NEVER recalled, and they won't take any less than what the hospital turned over. I interrupted her and told her they were in violation of the FDCPA for attempting to collect more money than I owe the original creditor, and I was going to report them to the ACA, and the FTC. She got really angry, and told me they already reported me to the credit bureau ( I hadn't seen it show up yet ), and that if I paid the full balance, she'd see what she could do to get it removed ( which, when I worked in collections was also illegal - you can't use credit bureau removal as a bargaining chip to get a balance paid ). I also told her I didn't need an education, as I worked in collections, and that agency I worked for was totally above board and didn't use illegal tactics or threats. She told me that the charity write off was something I had to work out with the hospital and wasn't their concern. I ended the call at that time. I called XXXX XXXX immediately afterward, and spoke to XXXX, and she told me that the accounts should have been put on hold when the charity application process started back in XX/XX/XXXX, and the accounts should have been recalled when I called earlier in the week, and she said she would call me back by Monday XX/XX/XXXX. I told her that their agency is using illegal tactics and she told me I wasn't the first one to complain. She was floored at their behavior. I don't have the exact amounts on the accounts, but mine was around {$450.00}, and my husband 's was around {$1300.00}. Those amounts are BEFORE charity write-off. I don't recall receiving any mail on the balance I owe. I received one letter for my husband last week, but didn't act on it because I knew the charity application had been delivered, and I was awaiting a reply. Over the weekend, I received notification from my credit monitoring service that the accounts were reported to the credit bureau, and my credit score dropped almost 50 points. They split all of the balances off on their own and reported me for every single one instead of one lump amount, doing maximum damage. I spoke to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, and she said the accounts were being recalled and they should be removed from the credit report. I will be watching and hopefully they come off quickly. We worked very hard to get our credit above 700 and it's now back down below.

Around late XXXX I began receiving calls from the Commercial Acceptance Company located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, PA XXXX regarding a medical debt I was not aware of. I called in and spoke with a representative XXXX XXXX XXXX about the debt. First, this representative did not do their do diligence to insure that they had properly identified who they were speaking with. They simply asked me, " Is this XXXX XXXX? '' Then upon me saying yes, he began to share information about the debt I owed without further confirmation that I was in fact XXXX XXXX. I informed him that I had recently been laid off due to the corona virus pandemic and asked for clarification about the debt. He began threatening me by stating that the debt had already been submitted to my credit report, and that I owed this balance to their client. I responded that I had not been to this provider in a while, he rudely quipped " well yeah, the balance is from 2018 so that would be a while. '' I then asked him for an itemized bill of the balance owed so that I could review it before payment. He then stated that it was not really his responsibility to due that as I should have received an explanation of benefits provided by my insurance company. He then said, " did you read the explanation of benefits they sent you? '' When I responded that I do not recall reading it he sarcastically replied, " so no, you did not read it. '' I then asked if he was refusing to reach out to his client and have them send me the itemized bill which he reluctantly agreed to do. Three months pass, and I receive a letter from XXXX XXXX with the itemized bill I requested prior. With the following text : " Pursuant to our recent conversation, please find enclosed copy of the above referenced Itemized Bill. Please be advised that this account is now in default, and that my client is demanding immediate payment of the full balance due. Payment should be made directly to this office if you wish to avoid additional collection activity. '' I contacted the client directly for clarification as XXXX XXXX sent me 3 years worth of billing statements from the client instead of just the relevant charges. I spoke with a representative at the provider who helped me comb through the charges, confirming that I had paid my co pay but other charges were assessed after the visit. She also noted that the " COLLECTION FEE '' of {$50.00} was incorrect as my balance was under a certain threshold and therefore I should have only been charged a {$25.00} collection fee. She updated the notes and balance on my account to reflect that. The Commercial Acceptance Company carelessly charged me double the correct collection fee stated by the clients own representative. Then tried to bully me into paying an incorrect balance without confirming the charges with the client first.

The Debt Collector that I am filing this complaint is against Commercial Acceptance Co in the amount of {$290.00} I am writing this complaint because I am XXXX years old and I was a pedestrian in a hit and run. During this incident, I was rushed by ambulance to the hospital by the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. When I spoke to the hospital as well as speaking to my attorney they said NJ XXXX is responsible for this not me and that all bills should be submitted to them. I saw this debt along with a hospital bill from another debt collector on my credit report from this incident that occurred on XX/XX/2017. The debt collector for the hospital bill handled the situation immediately. I explained it to them telling them that I was not responsible and they wiped off the debt no problem. This debt collection agency for the ambulance is horrible. I even said that I would have my attorney speak to them yet they refuse to give any information whatsoever to me or my attorney. They did say that it could possibly be written off but when I asked how they shut up immediately. The second time I asked them for the information as well as asking if they spoke to my attorney again they would not give me any information about the bill and they refused to talk to my attorney. They were rude and practically hung up on me when I was telling them that NJ XXXX was entirely responsible since they are the insurance that pays the bills for pedestrians involved in these situations who do not have auto insurance. My credit report is being ruined because of this debt due to me being a victim of a hit and run. I am XXXX years old, I broke my pelvis from this hit and run and my only source of income is Social Security. I shouldnt have to pay for this that the NJ XXXX insurance was supposed to cover. I even spoke to XXXX and XXXX even agreed with me. I have filed disputes on XXXX and XXXX. I have also put in a dispute to the XXXX. Commercial Acceptance Co. is a money hungry and greedy company that is disgusting to go after a XXXX year old man who was hit by a car for {$290.00}. They said it could be written off but they just wont do it. They ruined my credit report and they are rude to me on the phone when I have tried to speak to them over a debt I am not responsible for and they refuse to let it go. My attorney, XXXX, and I all agree that I should not be held responsible for this charge! I want this written off and taken off my credit report because I need to take out a loan for medical expenses.

On XX/XX/2018 I was very ill and needed an ambulance. I have a XXXX XXXX card which I get every year. XXXX XXXX picked me up at my home and then called for a Paramedic unit to meet them along the highway. At the time I did not know what Paramedic unit showed up but 2 paramedics got in the ambulance. I went to XXXX XXXX XXXX in the XXXX XXXX. A few months ago I got a call from XXXX XXXX XXXX telling me I owed them money. I asked what for and they told me my insurances would not pay the bill for them showing up to go along to the Hospital. I asked how much the bill was but they said they would send me a bill but they never have. They told me my insurances would not pay them because they do not have a working contract with XXXX XXXX. I said well then you should have not showed up, I didn't call for any Paramedic unit XXXX XXXX did so let them pay the bill. You knew you had no working contract with XXXX so you want me to eat your mistake? I said I am not paying the bill. I told them I have had to go in the XXXX XXXX but my insurances always paid for the Paramedic unit that came also, but they all work with XXXX XXXX. I think, just my own opinion, this Paramedic thing is a scheme. To this day I have not received a bill from XXXX XXXX XXXX. Then about 2 months ago I got a call from XXXX XXXX XXXX telling me they are a debt collection co. trying to collect a debt from me. I asked who the debt was for and how much was it. They told me it is for XXXX XXXX but would not say how much it was for. I told them I was not paying the bill and proceeded to tell them why and they hung up on me. About a month ago I got another call from XXXX XXXX XXXX asking me if they have the right address for me because they will be suing me and taking me to court and garnishing my wages and so on and so on. I tried again to explain why I am not paying the bill and she got very nasty and just kept repeating my address over and over. Finally I said yes that is my address. Just in the last few days this showed up on all my credit reports and that is how I found out the amount they want me to pay. It is {$420.00}. My credit took a big hit. I refuse to pay this bill for something that was not my fault.

On XX/XX/2021, I received a call from Commercial Acceptance Company at XXXX while I was at work so I could not answer. Again, I was contact on XX/XX/2021 at XXXX XXXX by Commercial Acceptance Company. I asked who was calling and the man on the phone refused to tell me who he was. He continued asking me verifying questions saying he couldn't disclose who he was until he made sure he was talking with the right person. I kept telling him I am not going to give my information to someone over the phone that I did not know who I was talking to. He continued being rude saying I have to tell him this information and I didn't. He eventually said he was a debt collector after going back and forth when he refused to say who he was. I told him, I do not know what debt he is referring to. He continued being rude so I told him to stop calling me and send whatever information he has to the address he has. His rudeness and profound language did not stop. He said that he would continue calling me and all my family members until he finds out who I am. Saying he would contact my grandmother and anyone else he needs to. I told him to stop calling me and I hung up the phone. After all his horrible language, an hour later at XXXX, my grandmother received a call from the same debt collector asking for me. My grandmother immediately contacted me nervous for me. His threatening and harassing actions haven't stopped just there. After telling him not to contact me, he continued to contact me roughly 3-4 since that incident where I clearly said stopped calling me and send me anything through the mail. I never received anything in the mail. Then, I receive a final notice in the mail saying I've been ignoring them and have 5 days to respond or they will take additional action against me. In XX/XX/XXXX I had a XXXX XXXX XXXX so I was in the hospital for a week then went through XXXX etc. Then the hospital bills came, I had to fight every step of the way to get my insurance to pay. I resubmitted everything probably 3x and was left with a bill of {$15000.00} that I paid. But there was a seperate bill from the XXXX dept that was missed {$1500.00}. It was never taken off so I missed out on getting the loan we needed to get outside seating for the bar requirement. She lied and scammed me out of this money and delayed our timeline on construction that is a estimated loss of {$45000.00} cause my credit report was not fixed. On XX/XX/2021, I sent a certified letter with return receipt to Commercial Acceptance asking for validation of an alleged debt they have been reporting to credit reporting agencies in the amount of {$980.00}. The letter was signed for by Who I would assume to be a representative of Commercial Acceptance on XX/XX/2021. The Requested information from Commercial Acceptance included : 1. Proof that I have or ever had any contractual obligations to pay Commercial Acceptance for this alleged debt. 2. Proof that Commercial Acceptance owned this alleged debt and had the right to collect on it. 3. A copy of the original bill as my insurer at the time, with which I had 100 % coverage of any and all medical procedures, required a copy of the original bill to A. Verify this was my bill, and B. Compare it to their records to determine if they had already paid the original creditor Commercial Acceptance chose to completely ignore my validation of debt request and did not send any of the requested information to validate this alleged debt. Another certified letter with return receipt was sent to Commercial Acceptance on XX/XX/2021. It was signed for XX/XX/2021. This letter requested that, because Commercial Acceptance did not send any response to the debt validation letter, that Commercial Acceptance : A. Immediately Stop reporting this alleged debt to any and all Credit Reporting Agencies B. Immediately request the deletion of this alleged debt from any and all Credit Reporting agencies to which Commercial Acceptance had reported this alleged debt. I was notified from an ambulance company they would be attempting to collect money from me for services I did not request, and did not receive. They were on behalf of a minor child to my wife who I have no legal connection to other than marrying his mother. The ambulance was called to the scene of an accident by some stranger and the service was not needed and flat out REFUSED at the scene. My XXXX XXXX refused treatment and I was not even present on the scene at the time of the accident. On XX/XX/2020 I notified the ambulance that they needed to cease and desist billing me for this unwarranted service. The driver in the accident already worked out their bill with the ambulance service via their insurance company and they were the responsible party not the passengers. A soft copy of this letter to the ambulance company will be attached. This bill apparently was handed over to Commercial Acceptance Company who called me multiple times at my home. I called them directly to inform them of the issue with the original creditor and they threatened my credit report with collections activity if I didn't pay immediately. I stated I requested them to cease and desist, and I would be folliowing up in writing which I immediately wrote them a formal letter demanding they ceast and desist attempting to collect on this charge on XX/XX/2020. Now in XXXX XXXX XXXX, they have reported me to the credit bureaus following through on their threat of financial harm AFTER I fired them of their services. A soft copy of the letter directly to this agency will be attached I've today, XX/XX/2020 filed an online dispute with XXXX and will continue to dispute this unwarranted charge via each bureau they attempt to extort me with. On XX/XX/2020, at XXXX, XXXX XXXX from Commercial Acceptance contacted me on my home phone regarding 3 ambulance bills ( 3 separate original creditors-all for ambulance services ). After being advised of the debt, I explained to her I can offer to settle at 50 % of my debt ( with tax season approaching and other financial obligations, I'm trying ) She then went on to say, her clients will not accept that amount and to have a good day, then hung up immediately! There was no time to respond to her nor even offer any type of payment arrangements on my debts. This isn't the first time she has done this. She did this is exact same thing a few times within the past few years. I called the number back and spoke with a manager named, XXXX. I explained this was very unfair and I find it abusive. It is my understanding, as debt collectors, they are to be very professional and alert debtors they will be ending the call instead of abruptly hanging up when they don't get that credit card information. I asked XXXX to remove my number and not call again. She said to put it in writing or there's nothing they can do. I shouldn't have to put it in writing to request calls to stop. It is harassment to call someone and not even give other options! Not even so much as a payment plan. This is rude and unfair, especially considering I'm trying to do what I can to rectify my debts. I am a new stay at home mom and the calls being made are constantly waking the baby during nap time. I try to answer when I can but not always possible. Not to mention, I am emotionally disturbed and stressed as I'm trying to take care of the debts and I should be able to defend myself with this type of situation taking place. Recently an unknown debt collection agency put a collection delinquency on my credit report damaging my credit score and putting me in great distress on top of my injuries. I believe that it is this agency that was sending me threatening calls which I communicated to XXXX and they said all bills they have paid. After contacting Credit Bureau they said that it is an agency in Pennsylvania asking to pay ambulance fee. The ambulance was given my auto insurance details several times and I received no notification after that. A Florida based Ambulance company named XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX Florida XXXX was also given my XXXX XXXX and medical insurance details long time ago. This third party agency is outside my home state and had no contact number available. The debt collector company XXXX XXXX XXXX has various collectors call me. One left a voicemail X/XX/17 around XXXX on my cellphone shared with my husband and daughter, naming herself XXXX in it. My husband listened to the whole voicemail that XXXX left for my debt. They also keep calling my work, where I have repeatedly told them they ca n't contact me here due to policies. The phone line is to be for my work to schedule reservations only. I told a woman this yesterday when she called and she once again called me again today at my work not too long before XXXX. I told her she needed to stop calling my job, that it is a business line and her repeated calling here could put me at risk for my job, she continued to ask if I was available to talk, ignoring what I just told her, to which I replies no I 'm not, goodbye. My job does n't have caller ID so I am unsure if they used the same number as when they call my cellphone. The collector calls 2-3 times a day and uses both my shared cell phone number and my work number to make those calls. I have told them the first time they contacted me that I was in contact with the medical company that I owe money to, the health insurance was billed incorrectly, they keep billing my old XXXX instead of my new XXXX, and until its corrected I only make payments on what I know I owe 100 %. The debt is for services rendered on XX/XX/XXXX by the XXXX XXXX XXXX. I received multiples letters from them after the date of service demanding payment. I disputed the debt each time and refereed them to my insurance company. They did not made any effort to resolve the issue or provide with documentation on services rendered, because they kept sending me the exact " Amount Owed '' letter over the course of XXXX. At this point they charged off the amount owed to their collections department and continued to send me letters demanding payment and late fee charges. I once again disputed the dept, referencing this is a matter between them and my insurance, and their failure to provide the documentation noted above. Since XXXX, I have heard nothing from XXXX XXXX XXXX and did not receive notice that " my debt '' was sold off. I had no idea who Commercial Acceptance Company until they recently filed a derogatory notice on my consumer credit account, resulting in a drop of credit score. The NY State AG contacted them and their reply was that the debt was legitimate and that they had sent my a letter on XX/XX/XXXX. I again dispute the original debt. I failed to receive any timely notice or documentation that the original amount owed was attempted to be collected from my insurance. I also received no notice of transfer from XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/2022, I received a letter from Commercial Acceptance Company about a debt collection from XXXX XXXX XXXX for an amount of XXXX. It stated that I refused to cooperate and pay the debt with request to pay within 5 days, but I I dismissed this as I believed it was a scam as I have not used any services at all and do not live anywhere near XXXX XXXX XXXX. Sometime in XXXX, the debt appeared in my credit report. I submitted a dispute with XXXX on XX/XX/2022 stating that it was incorrect, but the result were found accurate after that. I contacted the company and stated the information above and they said to submit a police report as this may be identity theft. I looked further in my credit report and saw incorrect name and a New Jersey address in my report which is very incorrect as I have never lived anywhere near New Jersey. With this I re-submitted the dispute with XXXX on XX/XX/2022 to remove the debt and to remove the address and name that was incorrectly in my report. They remove the incorrect name and address, but still stated the debt as accurate. I submitted the police report on XX/XX/XXXX ( I was on vacation so couldn't submit it beforehand ) and sent the letter to the collection agency sometime in XXXX. I also submitted an identity theft report. As of now I have not received any feedback from this and the debt is still in my report. Not sure what next steps to follow.

They represented XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, PA XXXX while I was a first-year student at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The apartment promised all students who were, like me, applying at the time believing that you could sublet apartments through their help. They 'promised ' that they would help with the sublet process " until a substitute tenant is found for you ''. I asked for their help for 3 months before my departure and they did not find any substitute tenants, because the apartment management is absolutely horrible. It is common for students to transfer out from that campus in the middle of the lease, and knew it up front, yet 'sweet talk ' while obscuring information about the sublet process and convince most of us to stay with them. Not only that, after I departed, they sent debt collectors who threatened legal action when I failed to provide the rent because I already moved out, which caused emotional trauma. I could find other students who can support my statement. Anyone who demands primary evidence against such establishment can find numerous people who left comlaints on XXXX Review/XXXX Reviews. If they decide to not settle for a resolution, all of us can stand and make sure they answer to their practices, at least to those in the recent past.

For several months now, I have been receiving harassing phone calls and collection notices from a collection agency named Commercial Acceptance Company, in regards to a debt that's owed to a fire station in the state of DE. I am quite aware of the debt, and it was included in a Chapter XXXX bankruptcy that was filed a year ago. I have told the collection agency this several times. I have also given them the name of my attorney, and the number to the bankruptcy trustee ; but for some reason they continue to harass me directly. Bankruptcy law is supposed to protect individuals from harassing collection agents. I included the debt in my structured repayment plan ; however this collection agency believes that they can operate outside the bounds of federal law. I am attaching a copy of the latest threatening collection letter I have received from Commercial Acceptance Company. It will be the first page of my attachment. You can clearly see their latest letter is dated XX/XX/XXXX. The rest of the attachment is my bankruptcy filing paperwork from XX/XX/XXXX. If you look at page 5 of the list of creditors, you'll find XXXX XXXXe XXXX XXXX XXXX as the 5th creditor from the bottom. That is the original creditor that Commerical Acceptance Company claims to be collecting for.

I contacted " Commercial Acceptance Company '' on XX/XX/23. I made the representative aware that I had medical insurance coverage for the date of service, and my insurance company was responsible for this bill. Debt Collector called me from a private number. Would not verify who they were but told me I had a debt with XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$210.00}. I needed to pay immediately or they would immediately report me to the credit bureaus. Would not let me call the vendor to verify the debt. Would not let me verify who was calling me. Told me they sent me months of letters in the mail. However, the Vendor told me they tried to get ahold of me until the end of XXXX. So the collector only had it for a week or two and thus could not have ever sent me any correspondence about the debt. When I said I needed to verify they told me " Too late! '' and hung up on me. After verifying with the Vendor, I tried to call back and they either never picked up or hung up on me. I left two messages to call me back, and never received one. Received letter from a debt collector named commercial acceptance company for debt owed to my XXXX account that was in good standing, that I currently was not using and did not owe any debts or fees to and had my bank account froze as a result. Last I used my free checking account with XXXX was in XX/XX/XXXX 2016 which I made a deposit of just under 9.00 to my account. I recently checked my credit report and saw posted two collection items from COMMERCIAL ACCEPTANCE CO. posted XX/XX/XXXX. I proceeded to dispute the charges via the credit agencies email dispute pages. I had sent letters to the aforementioned collection agency on or about XX/XX/XXXX and again on or about XX/XX/XXXX. I never received a response to the second letter disputing the debt. More than 18 months later this collection agency posted the debt to my account though to date they have not responded to my second request to verify the debt. This company has repeatedly called me and now have sent a letter demanding I pay a medical bill that has already been paid for by my medical insurance company. The Commercial Acceptance Company contacted me on XX/XX/20 at XXXX from ( XXXX ) XXXX regarding a debt I owe to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX . Earlier this month, on XX/XX/XXXX, I pulled my consumer credit reports from the XXXX XXXX XXXX website, and the credit bureaus themselves. I found an account that I did not apply for, and did not recognize, so I went online, found a dispute letter, and mailed it to Commercial Acceptance Company. I received an invoice dated XX/XX/20 in the amount of {$350.00} for supposed medical treatment from an ambulance company. Thirty days later I received a noticed from a collection agency now asking for {$420.00}. Per the FDCP, I'm not sure this constitutes a reasonable period of time before referring to collection agency as well as reasonable charges added to the supposed debt. in addition, I never received a copy of any signed form the clearly outlines payment timeframes as well as any future fees that could be added which is required by the FDCPA. In XXXX to prepare for a mortgage, I pulled myXX/XX/XXXX Consumer Credit Report from XXXX. I found an account that I did not recognize on my credit. A company called COMMERCIAL ACCEPTANCE COMPANY, who has never notified me, or sent me any information whatsoever, was reporting the account in question. I spoke with Commercial Acceptance Collections on XX/XX/2022 about a collection account that was opened. It should have never been opened. The account has been closed because I was insured with XXXX. The XXXX reached out to them XX/XX/2022 and faxed letter of eligibility to help mitigate payment and removed account from my collection. I called the debt collector the same day and was told that the account was closed and that it would be removed from the credit report. I could not leave with the XXXX at that time because I was making arrangements for my totaled car and speaking to police. In PA we have the no fault law that medical bills due to any auto accident are submitted to your auto insurance carrier until the benefits are exhausted, then to your medical insurance. I recently found out that I supposedly owe 3,000+ to an apartment complex by applying for a loan and being denied. The dispute took less than 30 days to investigate. I lived at that place for months, and had a cosigner. So if I didn't pay I'm wondering how would I have been able to stay at that property until I graduated and I was able to hand in my keys if I owed this company money. I had received a phone call from a collection agency of an outstanding bill from a property I use to live at, the debt collection company told me to contact the property company.
