I am wanting to buy a home so I am trying to pay off bills I have in collection, I wasn't aware of a lot them that are in collection due to the year they went in, which it ranges from XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXXand mainly all medical bills from XXXX XXXX I had to have, I looked on XXXX XXXX to see what all on there but it didn't list them all for some reason ... i have asked all 3 credit burous for my reports due to I cant seem to just look at them on-line ... anyway ... on XX/XX/XXXX i started to call the agencies where i have bills at pay them in full, i called XXXX XXXX that my report said i had 1 bill at there in amount of XXXX but they informed me i had 3 bills in amount of XXXX, I requested they send me a statement and they said they don't have to send me anything and how would l like to pay that today? I told her i'm not paying anything till I get a statement and she informed me well I guess you will owe this forever then ....
next one is XXXX XXXX i had 3 bills there according to my report but when I called they said I had 5, the 2 I didn't know about amounted to XXXX which the total of all was XXXX so i paid it all in full and requested they send me a statement that says each bill that is paid, she informed me we don't do that, I can send you a email for proof of payment saying paid in full, I said ok but how do i get a statement of each bill that was paid, she basically said she doesn't know nor do i care ... .this was after i paid it all in full ... my acc # is XXXX and conf # is XXXX that's all she tell me, next one is collection resources my bill there was XXXX which I paid in full but said she could not send me anything that said i paid ... she said use your account to prove it, I cant prove its paid by that cause there is no name of company where the bill came from nor would it say paid in full ... .I am so mad that all these places don't give a XXXX about you and all they want is money..all of them told me it would be over 6 weeks before my credit report would say its been paid or longer depending on how they feel ... .this is not XXXX right ... I'm trying to get my credit to a great place and they don't seem to want to do XXXX for you ....

On XX/XX/2021 I received a letter from Collection Resources , Inc in XXXX XXXX, New Mexico for a Medical bill. The amount was for {$730.00}. The amount of the bill sent to this collection agency was only for {$720.00}. On XX/XX/2021 I wrote and mailed a dispute letter to the above company informing them that these additional fees violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and that this inflated amount is not allowed. This letter was sent via USPS signature required and was received by Collection Resources, Inc on XX/XX/2021 at XXXX Mountain Time and signed for by C. Resources. On XX/XX/2021 I received a letter from the above company with an inclosed itemized statement from the hospital stating that the debt owed was {$720.00}. On XX/XX/2021 at XXXX Mountain Time I called Collection Resources, Inc and spoke to XXXX XXXX about the account. Per XXXX the amount now owed on the account is {$740.00} due to taxes that were added to the original debt. I advised that this is why I was disputing the account and asked for something on their company 's letterhead stating that these taxes were valid and not in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. XXXX then transferred me to her supervisor XXXX. XXXX stated that they are going by the New Mexico law that allows additional fees to be added to collection accounts. I asked XXXX to please provide me with this law information or a letter on their letterhead explaining that this law supersedes the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. XXXX stated that she did not have anything like that and that she could not provide me with anything like this.I advised her that until I obtained proof that New Mexico collection laws supersede the federal FDCPA from their office on their letterhead that I would be unable to pay this bill and that I would continue to dispute it per the violation of the FDCPA sections that state that collectors can not misrepresent the amount owed and can not charge additional fees. She stated that she would notate the account and the fees would continue to accrue. That is when I contacted the FTC and was referred to the CFPB to file a formal complaint.

On XX/XX/XXXX I injured my XXXX and went to the emergency room at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX Colorado. I submitted all my information including all my medical information to the staff at this hospital. I was treated and released.
The hospital submitted for services to my insurance company on XX/XX/XXXX. I received an invoice from the hospital in XXXX of XXXX for {$2200.00} and I paid my part of {$500.00} after insurance paid their Part. At this point I was under the impression that my bill was Paid.
On XX/XX/XXXX, approx. 1 year and XXXX XXXX months later I received an invoice from XXXX XXXX XXXX associates for {$650.00} for the emergency doctor 's fee. This was the only Invoice I received from them. I checked all my statements from the insurance company from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX and found that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX had not submitted for payment of services.
On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted the billing dept for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX about this invoice. I advised them that they haven't submitted this to my insurance company and that once submitted I would pay the amount owed and that my medical insurance information was submitted to the hospital where I was treated.
On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Collection Resources Inc. for the amount of {$650.00}. At this point it was obvious that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX didn't submit to my medical insurance. Now due to their negligence I am in collections instead of paying my part of 20 % ( {$130.00} ). This is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX mistake and I in good faith I did my part by submitting my medical insurance information so they could get paid.

one day as I tried to buy a home for me and my family the company I 'm dealing with get the home informed me that I have a medical bill in collection that I have to take care I did research and this and it came out to be when I had my daughter, I was sure I had medial coverage I called XXXX to get conformation that I did have XXXX during this time. I also made contact with women specialist witch i then started asking why i was been billed they then read to me a address they had incorrectly. a few phone calls and a schedule hearing to get a coverage letter saying I had medical coverage at this time. then I was told by XXXX to call he collection agency and let them know that I have a paper saying I have coverage and to XXXX them over the proof. so I did so I was then told to called the company that billed me and asked then to re bill me so Medicaid can cover this. then the women specialist sent me a paper bill instead of re-billing there for I went completely around again making phone calls to the Medicaid collections women specialist finally a couple weeks in I talk to a manger at women 's specialist who then said they can not help me because it would be just time filling and they could n't do anything about it I then told them this was not my fault and they had the wrong address they said this address they had they got it from the hospital I then asked if they had the address why could n't they get the XXXX information also. these people where not from my request the hospital called them in to help not me!

After reviewing my credit profile on XX/XX/2020 I identified a discrepancy with accounts listed under Collection Resources. I requested a validation on XX/XX/2020 as this was an account that I did not recognize. I reviewed my credit report again on XX/XX/2020 and the account continues to reflect on my credit report and I have not received any correspondence from creditor to validate these accounts as correctly belonging to me despite my credit report nor any updates to reflect that the accounts are disputed and therefore a 2nd validation letter was sent out on this day. As of XX/XX/2020 I have not received the requested validation in a timely manner according to the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and I do not believe the account belongs to me nor do I believe that the creditor has HIPAA authorization to access the account nor authorization to attempt to collect on the account and the account continues to negatively affect me. Please strike and remove this account from all 3 credit bureaus until adequate validation has been received proving that the accounts belong to me and all information is correct.

I paid five medical bills with this company on XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke with XXXX. I paid over {$300.00} and was told that a deletion letter would be mailed my address. The representative confirmed to me that the medical collections will be removed from my credit reports after payment clears. Their calls are recorded, I hope there is a record of it.
The letter I received was only a paid in full letter. I called back on theXXXX and spoke to another associate and she informed that a deletion was not possible and against company policy.
I requested that a supervisor review the recorded phone call on the XXXX so they can confirm what was said. A deletion is what I was assured would happen after payment.
This is a bait and switch. I don't know why they did this or if XXXX was not trained properly but none of that is my issue. I just want the agreement that we agreed to to be enforced.
I don't understand why a business would operate like this.

I noticed XXXX collections from Collection Resources INC XXXX NM XXXX Phone : XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX I called XXXX on numerous occasions and disputed these items, however they did not remove them. On XXXX XXXX, 2015 at approximately XXXX I called Collection Resources INC and spoke with XXXX and she stated I only have XXXX account with them. The account number is XXXX and stated that the other account was the same XXXX. The other account number is XXXX. The same debt is reporting on my credit report twice. XXXX informed me that the collection agency does not speak or communicate XXXX. When I spoke to XXXX they informed me to contact the collection agency. No one has given me a correct answer, and XXXX parties have failed to Validate these accounts. This account must be removed due to the fact its reporting twice.

My physician 's office mistakenly sent this account for collection in XXXX of 2015. My physician 's office took action right away when they determined that they had sent the account to collections in error and immediately contacted the collection agency to have the account removed. This occurred in early XXXX 2015. I just checked my credit reports and the collection accounts are still on all XXXX credit reports. When I called the collection agency, they would n't help me to remove the account, they just told me to file a dispute with the credit agencies. They did n't even ask for my account number, just said that they would have done it right away. Basically, they said that it 's my problem, not theirs, and I need to go through the dispute process to have the inaccurate removed.

I did not receive any communication from this company regarding the debt, but they posted a collections account on my credit reports with all three reporting agencies. I do not owe the amount, and have EOB 's from my insurance providers showing that I did not owe the supposed original creditor anything at that point in time. The collections agency has stated that they are unable to substantiate the amount owed with any sort of proof, but is unwilling to remove it from my credit history unless I pay it. Normally, I would just pay for something this small, but I'm furious that they would post derogatory marks on my credit history without ever contacting me in the first place. I would like this collections agency to be investigated for such practices.
