XXXX In XXXX my family and I moved back to XXXX from XXXX I had been hurt while performing duties as a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and moved back to my home state. The injuries generated, and were further aggravated, from initial military injuries that I received while deployed to XXXX in XXXX. My family and I lived in two different homes after our move to XXXX. Both of those homes where serviced by XXXX XXXX using their budget billing process. During the service years from XXXX through XXXX I had no problems with XXXX XXXX and all bills where paid on time. In XXXX my family moved to XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX. We transferred our XXXX XXXX policy to this address. XXXX XXXX services this home through XXXX XXXX. In the winter of XXXX we had a house fire and suspended our account until approximately XX/XX/XXXX for this address as the home was being rebuilt. When we moved back into the home in XXXX we again started the budget billing process for our propane usage. When we restarted our account with XXXX XXXX in the fall of XXXX fuel prices where very volatile. Prices were going up, so my wife and I were concerned that we would not be able to have an escalating propane bill because of my injury status and being on a fixed income. My wife and I went to the manager at XXXX, in the XXXX office, propane and asked them if they could fix our price so that we would have the same bill every month. We told the lady that if we could not come to some type of agreement we would be forced to consider other options for a carrier as the price of propane may become too expensive for us. After having this conversation with the manager at XXXX XXXX in XXXX she said that she would consider options for us. Approximately a week later she contacted me and told me that management had looked at my account and said that they would deliver propane to my address for a flat fee of {$2.00} a gallon due to my use and account history. My family agreed to this fee and remained with XXXX XXXX In the spring of XXXX I woke up one morning to a very cold house. I built up the wood stove to get things warmed up for my family and then started to research why everything was so cold. I found that the propane tank was completely empty providing no heat. I called XXXX XXXX to inquire why my tank was empty because I was on budget billing and the tank should have been monitored monthly and kept full. They sent XXXX XXXX out to look at the tank and fill it for us. When XXXX arrived, he was very apologetic. He stated that he had not been tracking our tank for several months as we had not used propane very much for years. My primary source of heat was wood so the only thing the propane was used for was the cook stove. XXXX XXXX stated that he stopped monitoring our tank months earlier because we were never showing any use. I informed him that over the winter I had my XXXX mother staying with us and I needed to keep the house at a move even temperature and was using the propane as a secondary source to do so. XXXX had his safety people come and do a safety check on the line and then he filled up the tank. The supervisor at XXXX XXXX called us to apologize for the lack in service and offered to give us a cut rate on the propane in the tank. So, she computed the usage for the amount filled, subtracted what I had paid, and then gave me a further deduction for them not servicing the tank on a regular basis. My mother paid the account in full through her checking account because the propane was being used primarily for her. Approximately two weeks later I was contacted by XXXX XXXX. The man stated that we did owe a further bill on our account. I was mystified. How could I owe you if we paid our budget billing and then satisfied the account once they had refilled our tank due to there lack of service. He stated that the lady that managed the accounts was billing us at the 2.10 rate and then was keeping a side ledger, off the books, of overages. I told the individual that I could not make any sense out of what he was talking about. We had always paid our bill on time. Our tank ran empty and then we paid that bill in full when the tank was made full again. He stated that the other manager did not have the authority to give us a contract for the 2:10 rate and because she had done so, to keep our services, she maintained a side account that showed an overage. My wife and I told him that we would come down to look at what he had. When we arrived at XXXX the gentleman told us we owed his company funds. At that time, we asked to speak with the lady that gave us the contract. He informed us that she had been fired. We asked to see our contract with our signature. He informed us that they could not find a contract with our signature giving us the rate of XXXX. We then asked to look at the side ledger that was being kept and he refused to let us see the document. I informed him at that time that I would not pay any further on the account until he could show me proof that the money was owed. I wanted the contract, to speak with the lady who gave us the contract, and I wanted documented proof of the side ledger. He refused. My wife and I left the building. We contacted XXXX XXXX and hired them for our propane services. We contacted XXXX XXXX to have their tank removed from our property, they complied. XXXX XXXX XXXX the property until it was sold in XXXX. Over the following two months after the removal of the XXXX XXXX tank XXXX sent us a bill for the overage on the account. Each time my wife and I went to the XXXX building in XXXX and asked to see our contract, speak to the lady that gave us the contract, and see the side ledger for the overage. Each time the contract could not be found, and we were denied our other two requests. We informed XXXX at that time that we would no longer be dealing with them and that all accounts were satisfied and paid in full according to us. XXXX no longer sent us a ledger. We moved from the residence on XXXX XXXX to XXXX, Idaho in XXXX and sold the home on XXXX XXXX in XXXX. During that time XXXX XXXX had no further contact with us about the issue. We figured that matter was closed. In the fall of XXXX as we were contracting to move back into a home in XXXX we were contacted by a collections company about a bill for XXXX XXXX from XXXX. We had no accounts with XXXX XXXX in XXXX. I contacted XXXX XXXX in XXXX and asked them why I was receiving a bill from a collections company. The lady stated that the company had been reviewing old accounts and ours came up as past due so the bill was sent to collections. After speaking to her about the history of the account I again asked for the missing contract, the ladies name and contact information that gave authorized the contract, and proof of the side ledger. She could not provide those documents. I Informed her that we would not be making any payments on an account that had been satisfied in full on the day XXXX came up to fill the tank after letting it run dry. I asked that the company foreclose on the account and take me to court to speak to a judge about the account. I contacted the collections company and informed them that I was disputing the account. I had no account from XXXX in XXXX. I contacted the credit monitoring companies and disputed the account. I asked The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX Spruce XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to verify this account and send me the contract and all information to prove this debt within the thirty day window to dispute the account. Nothing was ever sent or received by me. At this time the XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, account is being shown on my three credit report files as late past due since XXXX. Several companies have denied me credit for purchases and I have received higher credit amounts for accounts that I have opened due to XXXX showing a false account on my credit reports. XXXX refused to foreclose or provide documentation as requested for this matter. I have contacted both XXXX XXXX and the XXXX XXXX several times about this matter. Each time I have asked for proof of this debt but have been denied. The account is showing it is from XXXX instead of XXXX. No contract, side ledger, or information from the manager that issued the contract has been sent to me. The new manager at XXXX stated that the old, fired manager, did not have the authority to enter into the contract that she made. She was their agent and I entered that contract in good faith and was never late on a payment to XXXX for my budget billing process. This account balance is fraudulent and the XXXX balance was paid in full at the time I fires XXXX XXXX for their lack of service and contract discrepancies. I would like the Consumer Trade Commission to assist me in clearing this matter from my credit history. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Case # XXXX Plaintiff : XXXX XXXX Case number : XXXX Account number at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX : XXXX I, XXXX XXXX XXXX, the separated husband to XXXX XXXX, ( Plaintiff ), deny any responsibility or direct ownership to the accused filings by the Collection Bureau Services Inc. of the Justice Court of Records, for the city of XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, Montana. ( Case number XXXX ) My evidence to support the above declaration is as follows. On two subsequent visits to the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, the plaintiff self-admitted herself for non-life-threatening medical issues, both undenounced to me at the time and neither visit was I physically present at the hospital. On both of the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX bills, it clearly stated that the plaintiff was not only the Patient but she was also the only listed Guarantor at both visits. Additional to this, for both above mentioned visits, the plaintiff incurred outstanding bill amounts. Please see below the breakdown for both visits : 1. XX/XX/XXXX for services totalling {$190.00} 2. XX/XX/XXXX for services totalling {$300.00} The second hospital visit is the current outstanding amount that I am presently detailing in this letter. To provide you with supportive context, the first visit noted above, in XXXX of XXXX, the plaintiff allowed a past-due balance owing to go into default, resulting with the account being handed over to the Collection Bureau Services Inc. ( A collection agency ). At this time, it was unknown to myself that there was any outstanding debts. When I received an alert from XXXX, the credit agency that I use in monitoring my credit report, I was perplexed with the current alert for an outstanding balance of {$200.00} and it being in collections. I have always kept my accounts in good standing, so this new alert of delinquent funds owing, was an outright shock to me. Upon further investigation, I was able to track the debt to the plaintiff, and after attempting to arrange payment with her, to clear the amount owing, realized through her own admission, that she was not going to pay this bill. Due to the negative reporting impact to my credit rating, I then chose to make the necessary payment arrangements myself. I then made the payment in full on XX/XX/XXXX for {$200.00}, to clear my name and credit, regardless of my responsibility for this amount and at the refusal of the plaintiff declining to handle the delinquent account herself. To my own disbelief, I then received a second alert, from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, stating an amount owing of {$320.00} in a rears to the same previously paid to, collection agency. When I requested information from the plaintiff, she stated that she had again sought medical attention at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and she was again negligent in paying her hospital bills and that we were again being sent to collections for her debt. I asked the plaintiff if she would be making the necessary payment arrangements, to which she replied, she does not have a job right now and is not going to make a payment. Please keep in mind, that at the time the bills were incurred, the plaintiff was working and employed. I then attempted to make payment arrangements with the collection agency, to which I was flat out denied ; being told that I was unable to clear this account and that they would be settling this before the courts. I had tried severally to attempt payment arrangements for the now new balance of {$320.00} ; which is the amount reflecting on my credit bureau alert. The original amount at the time of the plaintiffs hospital discharge was {$300.00}. Since I am in the legal process of filing for a divorce from the plaintiff, I have been striving to support and clear all outstanding-connected debts incurred during our timed married. This is clearly supported when I paid the first outstanding balance of {$200.00} owed from XXXX and now, with my attempts to clear another debt, personally unrelated or incurred by myself, from XXXX. In order to absolve myself of the negative impact indirectly meted to me, both financially inconvenienced and the impact to my credit rating, I sought the support of the collection agency responsible for the payment. It was my hope to swiftly handle the rectification of this account ; to deter any further detriment to my person. It was an outright shock to me, that I was denied allowance to make the payment, as I previously had in XXXX of XXXX, for a similar debt owing from XXXX and was denied the right to mediate and settle the account, as I had with the previous amount owed, to the Collection Bureau Services Inc. for this new debt. Attached are supportive documents for your further review and I await your swift and favourable decision. If you have any additional questions for me, please feel free to contact me at the above noted email or number. Respectfully, XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX

Collection Bureau Services, Inc., XXXX MT XXXX has been reported by me to the Montana Attorney General's Office for fraudulent practices for XXXX since the XXXX of the year levying on my husband's pension which is exempt from levy by Montana law. Even though we told XXXX" in XX/XX/XXXX that it is protected and provided proof via bank statements, he again levied on XXXX pension in XX/XX/XXXX, denying us access to our money for about a week before it was, again, refunded. XXXX attitude with me on the phone was disrespectful and antagonistic, stating, "You'll get it back." He very rudely and in a mocking tone stated, "Good BYE, XXXX!!!" and abruptly hung up on me. I called back and spoke to his supervisor who placated me and repeatedly asked, "Is there anything else I can do for you today?," obviously not intending to help me or counsel XXXX in any way. He said that he sits XXXX feet from XXXX desk so he witnesses everything XXXX does. It made me wonder if XXXX get's his commission for these illegal levies even though they must be refunded. XXXX of the Consumer Protection Division of the Montana AG's Office has assisted me in filing a formal complaint against them. There has been no response to the letter XXXX office sent them weeks ago, and they have committed yet another unethical if not illegal act by arbitrarily adding a debt to our account without proper notice that is not ours. The paperwork they possess clearly states as such. When I asked "XXXX two days ago to tell me what debts the bill he sent me in the amount of XXXX represented, he listed XXXX legitimate accounts we ended up facing collection for when our business went under in XX/XX/XXXX and we have been unable to. The balance he is collecting from us of XXXX was for a debt incurred by the prior owner over 18 months before we bought the property, and a judgment was entered on the prior owner in XX/XX/XXXX, which is 13 months before we bought the property from her bank in a short sale. The paperwork Coll. Bureau Services, Inc. has in their hands regarding this debt clearly states the prior owner's name, XXXX. When I disputed the arbitrary addition of this debt to our account, XXXX stated, "You were served with a summons and complaint on this," to which I said, "No.Never. This is not our debt and the judgement on it, which is obviously much later in time that the debt was originally incurred, precedes our ownership of the property by 13 months." He continued to argue with me, stating, "The debt followed the business, so it is your problem. It has been added to your account." I asked when it was added, because I had not seen anything on it until it became a part of the XX/XX/XXXX statement, and he responded, "Your title company found it when they were preparing your title policy in XX/XX/XXXX and reported it to us." I spoke to the title company (XXXX) and she was adamant that they seek debt information FROM the Coll. Bureau and NEVER share information about debts with them. She was very agitated by XXXX misrepresentation of our situation and said she would follow up with Coll. Bureau Services, Inc. I reported this XXXX fraudulent act by "XXXX" of Coll. Bureau Svcs, Inc. to the AG's office, and XXXX is filing an addendum to our original complaint. He urged me to file a complaint with the FTC and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, as well. He believes legal counsel is needed at this point and referred us to Montana Legal Services, as we are unable to afford counsel at this time due to having to file bankruptcy to maintain control over the sale of our business. I sent XXXX" a letter asking for verification of this debt to begin the process of having him remove it from our account. XXXX

This is a story of a {$6.00} check and bad and deceptive business practices. I wrote a {$6.00} check to a burger joint that refuses to accept electronic payments. I rarely use checks because, today, they seem dated and arcane, but the restaurant only accepts cash or check, and I had no cash on me. I forgot about the XXXX dollar check and opened a new bank account and transferred all my money from the drawn account. The day the check was dishonored, XXXX/XXXX/15, I noticed it because I check my bank statement religiously. I pleaded with the XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, to let me cover the check and any service charge they may have been charged. At least XXXX times, I called and stopped by the restaurant to try to discuss the issue with someone with authority there. I even left my business card. I was never contacted, nor had my calls returned. This constitutes awful business practices and unprofessionalism. Eventually, because they kept ignoring me and my efforts, I thought that the restaurant was just going to eat the loss, so I stopped contacting them. Two months later, in the middle of the homebuying process, I check my credit report and see that there is a collection action on my account. I was shocked because no one had contacted me about any debt. I had to XXXX the collection agency 's name, Credit Bureau Services, found on my credit report, and called them to inquire what the hell this collection action was all about. They responded that it was in regards to the aforementioned {$6.00} check that I had long forgotten about. The extortionists at this agency did not even bother contacting the bank or my phone number on the check. Instead, they considered it sufficient to send a couple notices to wrong or old addresses - hence the deceptive business practices. They admitted that they sent a notice to the wrong city, even though they had the right street address. I called these dishonorable thugs and told them I 'd gladly pay the check and charges if they 'd remove the collection action from my credit reports. They said no, even though such practice is common for debts less than {$500.00}. I mentioned to them that I had reached out to the Payee several times in attempts to settle the debt, and told them that the check said it was n't valid for less than {$200.00}. This was still not convincing to them. I 'm very active in the community and there are several ways of reaching me. I also have several online public profiles. But no notice of this {$6.00} debt was sent to any one of those places. I 'm of belief that they seek to provide as little notice as possible, which I am sure their procedure violates some law ( s ), so they can say they " provided notice of the debt ''. They do this in order to extort people into paying several times the face amount of the debt ( in my case XXXX times the amount of the debt ), using the damage to one 's credit score as leverage. To this day, I have still not received anything in writing from this agency. I was not notified of my right to dispute the debt or the agency 's procedures. And, as far as I can tell, my credit report does not reflect the fact that the debt was paid.

11 months and 34 days POST final divorce decree issued by the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX MT XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX " XXXX XXXX ) collections is attempting to collect a debt that is owed by ex-wife. The services provided to her post divorce are her bill. Not mine. All Court matters were concluded and over. The services provided were not done within the scope of a prior XXXX order it was individual service to my ex-wife. I have no obligations for any services provide to ex-wife at all. XXXX tried this before and they had to nonsuit me and I was awarded back by the XXXX 100 % of my fees and costs. XXXX has a judgement against her for the first collections issue but I have nothing to do with that either. The XXXX XXXX ruled 100 % in my favor against XXXX claim the first time they tried this deceptive tactic and XXXX lost. They are attempting to collect on a second situation which is as this is filed pending in XXXX with counter suit against them. XXXX has listed the ex-wife 's debt on my credit file in what i believe to be not legal as there is basis to do so. This was post divorce and I have no obligations for her debts other than what is listed in the decree and this is not XXXX of them. There were never any joint accounts, nothing signed by me, and currently there is a pending court case regarding this matter. They know it is not my debt and this appears to be malicious, deceptive and second attempt because they lost the first time and embarrassed themselves. after they Non-suited me they took 4 months to correct my credit report. When they first served me with papers and contacted me I sent registered letter denying the I owed this with in the time frame clearly stating that this is not my debt. They acknowledge receipt of that letter. I ask in writing for their documentation and they refused to provide any. This is typical of XXXX here in XXXX and I am seeking a counter suit in this situation and in discussions of a class action status against XXXX as others have had similar situations of their collection practices.

My name use to be XXXX XXXX and due to the fact another XXXX XXXX lives in my town I had it changed to XXXX XXXX. My information gets messed up with this other person 's all the time or that's what I'm guessing. I went to get a Driver 's License ( never had one ) and was told I couldn't because I owed debt through the Court. This was shocking because I went there prior to ensure I owed nothing and was told I didn't and I was good to go get a DL. I called the XXXX , Inc on XX/XX/XXXX to find out they say I owe over a XXXX for citations/fines from XXXX and XXXX and a medical bill. I have a XXXX XXXX XXXX so that does muddle things but I know I never received any information in regards to these debts. I requested information and Debt Validation Letter and got nothing. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent XXXX , Inc a Letter requesting information to verify the debt and when they sent the Debt Validation Letter. I also submitted a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX form for Debt XXXX requesting information so it was very formal ( I have all copies needed ). They sent me back 2 packets. One for a XXXX ticket and XXXX a XXXX ticket. Neither packet shows my signature anywhere and the address for the Court are wrong or just missing ( XXXX XXXX XXXX then no numbers for where it was mailed ). The individuals name is not spelt like mine and most copies are to hard to make out. There was a bill on top stating the amount and that was it. No Debt Validation Letter, where they sent it, when they talked to me, anything about a medical center... nothing. Today I wrote up another letter clarifying that individual is not me, there are no signatures, I did not get told I owed any of this in a timely manner which would have allowed me to properly PROVE it's inaccurate. It is XXXX, who has proof of NOT getting citations from 9 years ago, the Court doesn't even have them, but they refuse to remove it from collections and collections won't send me anything useful to verify the debt.

They told me they had a judgement right out of the height of the pandemic. Then some guy stalked me and followed me down the street in a vehicle and threw the papers through my vehicle window saying are you so and so? Acted like he was a cop. Before serving me papers they hit my bank account and I told them to return the money they took. They returned all of it except XXXX dollars of it to either apply it to an account to renew statue of limitations of the doctors bill. Now they wiped out my bank account 2 days ago. I asked for an itemized bill to see what the debt was for but they failed to provide me with one. I went to the courthouse to get more information of the bills collecting. They only show me date of bill which is the bill that Im questioning for XXXX XXXX XXXX for amount XXXX from XXXX XXXX, XXXX? Another from XXXX XXXX XXXX for XXXX from XX/XX/XXXX. Both bills out of statue of limitations. I did not provide them permission to apply any amount of money towards either one of those accounts to renew statue of limitations and plus still dont know what they are for because they cant provide me with an itemized bill of what it was for. I sent them a letter in response to papers being served basically saying they could not provide me with enough information so Im not paying the bills. I have proof of all documents and when I sent them a check to dispute the bill they sent me a letter back saying that I was supposed to send it to the courts. When I asked them what the address of the courts was they said, I dont know its online XXXX it or whatever and hung up the phone. Check CBS collections recorded audio. I did XXXX it and still couldnt find the address so they hit my account. Because of Covid-19 the courthouse has been closed and I also cant seem to get a hold of a lawyer or public defender to respond so yeah this is malicious as absolute XXXX. Ive kept all documentation.

Collection Bureau Services Inc. of XXXX montana alleges that we owe them a debt, but they have never sent us the required notice of our rights to " validate '' or " dispute '' the alleged debt. The first communications that we have received from them, on the nature of this alleged debt, was a lawsuit stating that we owe them this assumed debt. A lawsuit is not a legal form of first communication on any alleged debt. Collection Bureau Services Inc. is practicing Unlawful Debt collection Acts. And since we were never given the opportunity afforded to us by the FDCPA guidlines. We have never had the chance to " validate '' or " deny '' this debt. Which is in direct violation of our consumer rights. As well as the fact that CBS Inc is misrepresenting whom the debt is being collected for. They state that it is being collected for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. But XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX no longer owns this alleged debt. So how can they be collecting it for them? The supporting documents included : Support of the fact that we were not in default on our payments to the original creditor when they sold our debt off to a 3rd party. The supporting documents also show that CBS INC. Is not in fact collecting this debt for the original creditor as they claim that they are. But rather they bought our account from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX while it was in good standing, and currently was in the process of being paid on monthly by the us. The fact that we were not notified that our contract was going to be sold to a 3rd party without our consent, while it was in good standing and being currently paid on. Makes this claim even more outrageous. Our right 's have been violated, by the original creditor " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' as well as " Collection Bureau Services Inc. ''

Around XXXX XX/XX/2015 I noticed a collection debt from Collection Bureau Services , Inc, in lieu of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to find out who they were and why they were showing up on my credit report. they explained that my ex-wife had care there. I asked what that had to do with me, not only where we divorced, but the divorce decree said she had to have her own insurance long before this visit. I was told I had to take it up with the collection agency. I called them and spoke to a XXXX XXXX who informed me that if I showed the signed decree they would remove it from my name. So, I sent the collection agency a signed letter ordering to cease and desist all communications and to remove my name from her bill. enclosed i sent the agreement which stated that she was to hold her own insurance from about 5 months prior to her eye visit. They then sent me a letter stating " validation of dept ''. I called them, and they said, " well, XXXX validated it, and said you owe it. '' I then called XXXX XXXX and spoke to XXXX, she said, " sorry, you have to take it up with the collection bureau '' and then hung up the phone on me. Not only were we divorced, but the agreement says she was to have her own health insurance. XXXX XXXX is trying to claim that since she " used '' my insurance that is why I am liable. I do n't know if tri-care paid anything prior to this visit or not, but nothing was every authorized. And I was never her medical care giver or provider.

I received a credit monitoring alert ( XX/XX/2017 ) that 2 medical collection ( one for {$30.00} and the other for {$650.00} ) had been placed on my credit report. I have NEVER received any phone call or written communication regarding these medical accounts. I called the original creditor and they stated that I was not listed on the account and that they had NOT reported anything to a collection agency. I then called the collection agency and asked why they reported the account when the original creditor had not reported it, their response was that I was still linked to my ex-wife 's accounts. I told them I have been XXXX for 4 years but the collection was only a few months old. The collection agency stated that they took the liberty of reporting the account on their own behalf to the 3 CRA 's. I faxed in a copy of my XXXX decree to show that I was n't linked to my ex-wife anymore. I told the collection agent that it did n't sound very legal in what they did but he turned a bit belligerent towards me and said that 's the was it is.

My husband accrued medical debt after we separated. I have a court filed document in which he stated that our date of separation was prior to his accruing the medical debt. The debt went into collection and the collection company is reporting that it is a joint debt because we were married. The debt was included in the divorce decree as his alone but the collection company is refusing to remove me as a joint owner of the debt. I have disputed it with XXXX and XXXX and they informed me that it is a joint debt. We were not together at time of debt and in his court response to the Petition for Divorce he stated we were separated prior to date he sought out medical treatment. His court response is proof that we were not together at the time the debt was accrued. We were not living in the same state. Therefore the debt is not joint.

I'm trying to get the flowing removed off my credit report. I called Collection Bureau Services and asked them if I had a balance on XX/XX/XXXX and they stated no that all accounts were paid in full. I asked why they were still on my credit report and they stated they are reported with a XXXX balance. I asked why there were not closed and she stated they are reported with a XXXX balance again. Can you please remove from my experian report the following since there is not a balance and they obviously have not closed it and think that because it has a XXXX balance that it shouldn't matter. This was a XXXX medical service for my deceased wife. She was billed in XXXX and after the payment was made in full the provider sent an additional request for payment. When the collection appeared on my credit report in XXXX, I immediately disputed the account informing all three that the medical service wasn't mine. Of the three reporting agencies XXXX immediately removed the collection, XXXX and XXXX refuse to remove the account from my credit report. Recently I contacted XXXX and informed them that my wife had passed in XXXX of this year and the collection, which wasn't mine anyway, should be removed. They declined and it remains on my credit report. I haven't contacted XXXX over this issue but would expect the same result.

I paid off another account a couple of years ago with COLBRSRV and then they decided to add this debt to my report after I paid off the other debt. I have never been to XXXX before. I have asked for a copy of their investigation, but they refuse to provide it. I have also asked that a HIPAA Compliance officer provide signatures and any other documentation that shows that this is my debt, but nobody is providing anything. There are XXXX debts from XXXX on XXXX totalling XXXX and XXXX debt on XXXX totalling XXXX. Neither of these debts are mine.

I received a summons regarding a debt oved from XXXX for {$7.00} and from XXXX/XXXX/XXXX for {$150.00}. I was never served with the original summons in XXXX so had no way to dispute it then. We I asked CBS for a copy of the original summons they provided XXXX & put a note with it that the original summons for XXXX was not 2 checks but 1 check and a debt. I have attached 10 pages from all of the correspondence with CBS & the court. I tried filing a few minutes ago but after I got all done there was an error.

I got sued for a medical bill for my XXXX husband. The collection agency won a judgment against me. The original bill was {$150.00} and now with court costs, atty fees, and other charges it is now close to {$700.00}. I did n't have the {$150.00} to begin with and sure do n't have the {$700.00} now. The collection agency has now violated the fair debt collection practices act by knowingly seizing my social security funds out of my bank account, which I know that these social security funds are exempt.

My wife went to the hospital to have XXXX. Although her insurance is in my name, the financial responsible person is her. I 've explained this numerous times to them. In doing a little research, this company is notorious for their terrible collection practices. They lied to me to get a judgment on me by telling me they were helping me. There are XXXX accounts showing up on my credit report and all of them are very small except XXXX and all are my wife 's not mine.

Contacted CBC, Inc.in XXXX, montana and was told that I was refusing to pay the debt so they would mark it as so and hung up on me. Though, I sent out a letter to resolve this credit since It is hard for to pursuit the identity theft and most of collection agency disregards this and keep posting this charge under my credit line and what 's even worse than this is they are trying to charge me even more to settle this debit
