Purchased a car from a dealer. Dealer did not pay the floor plan company for the car which made it difficult to get a tag for the car. Before the paper tag expired, the dealership closed down. While speaking with the finance company about the issue with the tag, I contacted the finance company to inquire about having to make payments on the car that I could not drive due to no legal tag. During this conversation, I asked the Director of the company ( XXXX XXXX ) if they could void the contract since there seemed to be some fraudulent activity going on. He told me that was not possible. After 5 months of not being able to drive the car due to no tag, the DMV was finally able to provide me with a tag. The 5 months that the car was parked, my wife & I still made our payments faithfully & on time. XX/XX/2018 we began the process to purchase a home & hired a certified credit consultant. Once our credit was pulled & the car showed up on the credit, our credit consultant asked to see the contract for the car. Due to the dealership advising us that the finance company would send the paperwork ( contract ) in the mail once they received the package & we never received it, we made contact with the finance company to request a copy of the contract. Once receipt of the contract, I noticed there was information that was not true & information that I did not have knowledge of. There was indications that I traded a car for this car ( but I did not ). As well as indication that the finance company of my first car would be paid off ( but it was not ). The down payment amount was not correct. The contract showed a down payment of {$1000.00} when in fact we put {$1200.00} down. There was nothing in the contract about GAP insurance but the dealer told us that part of the down payment would be used to purchase GAP coverage. After looking over the contract we then reached out to the finance company again to inform them of our findings. The rep we spoke with ( XXXX XXXX ) stated that he needed to pass the information along to someone above him and he would have someone from the finance or funding department to contact us. We did not hear from them on the day he promised so we initiated contacted again. At this time we were placed on hold & were told the department we needed to speak with was on another call & would be with us shortly. After holding for 5 mins, XXXX came to the line asking if anyone had contacted us and once told no he stated he would go to the person that was to contact us & make them aware that we were waiting to hear from them. After speaking with XXXX, we then decided to email him. This email informed the company that they seemed unsure about how to handle such a issue therefore, we thought it may help if we told them what we wanted to happen due to this fraudulent contract. We let it be known that we wanted out of the contract with no negative remarks on our credit, we wanted all payments made returned and we wanted them to retrieve their car. 2 hours later we received a email from XXXX XXXX with her direct phone # and asking that I contact her at our convenience. Shortly after receiving the email I called XXXX with my wife there with me and listening to the entire cal. XXXX asked that we start from the beginning with the issue of the loan. I told her about the issue with not having a tag and not being able to drive the car for the first 5 months. She was informed that I tried to see if the dealer had reopened before contacting them. I confirmed there was no car traded in, I informed her the down payment amount on the contract was incorrect and she was also informed that the car that the dealer said was traded is not a car that we own. She asked if the dealer told us to lie to them during the welcome call about the down payment amount and we told her no. We explained that the dealer advised us that the down payment amount that would be stated in the welcome call was because of the way the dealer was going to split the down payment up among the GAP coverage and warranty. XXXX stated 3-4 different times during the call that the contract was definitely fraud. Her exact words each time was " oh, yes maam, this is definitely fraud on their end ''. The call ended by XXXX saying she needed to speak with her manager, let them know what we wanted and she promised to get back with us the nest day. As XXXX did contact me back the next day, she then changed from what she said the previous day and said there was no fraud. When asked why she was no changing what she said from the previous call, she denied ever saying that she admitted the contract was fraudulent and then asked why I kept bringing up yesterdays conversation. Once I realized she seemed to be doing just as dirty as the dealership, I then let her know that the company could keep the money that had been paid on the car but I wanted out of the contract because doing business with their company has been nothing but a headache. We ended the call by XXXX saying she would pass the information of me wanting out of the contract with no negative remarks on my credit even if there was no refund of payments to her manager and " if he would like '', he would contact me. XXXX was representing the finance company and stated herself the contract was fraudulent but then after she spoke with other people in the company, she denied ever saying that. Then stated that I was asked about having another car during a welcome call but no we were not.

On or about XX/XX/XXXX I spoke to a representative at Coastal Credit and had made an arrangement to pay {$50.00} to get my XX/XX/XXXX payment deferred, the payment was due by XX/XX/XXXX. I had a problem getting the funds by that date due to the fact that I had to pay my rent and utilities since I am in the process of retiring those things were my priority, so on XX/XX/XXXX i called the company to see if i could pay it on that day. I spoke to the account rep XXXX and he said he would not accept it that I could pay the full monthly payment amount and the he could look at deferring XX/XX/XXXX payment. During the conversation he was rude and i felt harassed and pressured because he said to me something to the fact well you are 31 days past due and it can be reported to your credit bureau and isn't the car important to you. I told him no keeping a roof over my head is more important, so he said well what if we just come pick it up between XXXX and XXXX. I told him to let me know and i would get my stuff out and he could have it. He then said to me well you seem frustrated because you are talking over me I said to him no I am in a hurry to get to work and he kept on with you seem frustrated. He then began to say well he will give me a few days to think about it and follow up with me and he hung up on me. Later that night on XX/XX/XXXX a lady by the name of XXXX called me and we discussed what had happened between XXXX and myself, she said that her manager told her to follow up with me to see what they could do to help,, short of it she was willing to defer the payment and take the {$50.00} with it due by XX/XX/XXXX and a full payment by XX/XX/XXXX. I informed her that I no longer wish to be contacted by XXXX. She said that she would note my file and asked if she could call me on his behalf I said yes, but did not wish to be contacted by him again. Well long story short today XX/XX/XXXX i got a text msg from XXXX at XXXX XXXX my time and that is clearly a violation of the FDCPA. I am not to be contacted before XXXX XXXX my time and not after XXXX XXXX my time and he clearly violated that. Also after reviewing other text msg from this companies reps I also received a text msg on XX/XX/XXXX from someone named XXXX about a payment that I had scheduled that did not go through. This is truly to violations of the FDCPA within about a 90 day span. I called the company this morning ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and spoke to a lady that said she was a manager and that she would report this to the director. I feel at this point that this is harassment when i am making an effort to communicate with them and to try and make a payment.

I purchased a vehicle in 2014 from Coastal Credit LLC. I had made on time payments since then. I started receiving calls stating that I was past due anywhere from 30-90 days multiple times showing I disputed charges and payments, which I never disputed a charge as I authorized all charges. I submitted proof to the location in XXXX, Colorado and all of a sudden that office was closed in a matter of a weekend. Prior to that I was working the office in XXXX, OK which was also closed in a matter of a weekend. I had been working with a couple of employees providing documentation and proof and working with them to fix this. As we were working on this, I had been surprised as I was promised since I had been in talks with providing proof of payments that the vehicle would not be secured or repossessed but indeed the vehicle was actually on the repossession truck and the driver had the courtesy to come knock at my door and he waited for me to talk to the bank in which I was demanded to pay for the entire balance after we had agreement but I had to prevent repossession. After that payment, I was paid up to date. Then about a month or two later I received a new call stating that I was in the same boat. I spoke with the same individuals and they fixed it but then shortly after a hour, I had a repossession agency contacting me to arrange a pickup of the vehicle in which I had said we had fixed this and I called Coastal Credit back and the lady could not get a hold of the person who was authorized to fix it and told me to " hid my vehicle ''. I was absolutely disgusted that a " bank '' or loan service told me to do that until they could tell that agency not to secure the vehicle. In the midst, they reported me 30 days past due and I can not get it removed and have contacted an attorney to file suit but have not pursued just yet until I notice absolute no resolution. I primarily contacted an attorney to file a complaint to get the late 30 day reporting removed. Since then, I have worries of the vehicle being secured illegally and no one at the new office is willing to talk to me or get me with the people I was working with as I am curious to see if that office staff were fired because they just shut down. I am working on trading this or refinancing with another company.

My car payment was due on XXXX XXXX, 2016. I was not able to pay this payment until XXXX XXXX, 2016. My car loan company is with Coastal Credit, this company call numerous time a day, from texting, cell phone calls, and house calls. Finally, this company sent a stranger to my house on XXXX XXXX, 2016 who never identified himself, only stated he wanted to hand me a letter from Coastal Credit, and requesting that I call them in front of him, while he was there. So I called Coastal Credit and I was put on hold for while and I finally told the man I had things to do and I paid my car payment on XXXX XXXX. The man verified my information, it was the same information that Coastal Credit all ready received, and the man then left after verifying information. Shortly after this Coastal Credit representative who name is XXXX called and left message on my phone to call her before Monday and she did not see the payment that I stated I paid. So I call Coastal Credit and I was unable to talk to XXXX due to the representative saying she was on the phone with another customer. So I begin stating that the reason why I was calling about the car payment and sending a stranger to my house. The representative begin to tell me that she did not see the car payment as well and I told her I did send it and the payment is showing up on my debit card transaction. The representative then proceed to say let me check another system, I was placed on hold again, and the payment is in the other system. So I begin to express my frustration with this situation, particularly with XXXX stating she did not see the payment, and sending a stranger to my house. The only answer the representative could give me is the stranger sent to my house is another way of communication. I told the representative I have previous loan companies and no one has ever sent anyone to my home. The representative told me she was not going back and forth me. I also told the representative that maybe they should check all there systems before stating someone did not pay their payment. Now granted I was late due financial issues and I have been working extra to catch my bills up, but I do not feel like I should be harassed like this from this company. Is this legal for a company to act in this manner?

Coastal Credit at the end of my loan term stated that I owed an amount of approximately {$230.00}. I continuously asked for a payment history and options to pay this amount as the business was no longer from my understanding in Virginia. I called Coastal Credit several times without success to receive this information. I became very ill and lost contact with this company. I then begin to receive calls advising that the balance had gone up to over $ 16K which is basically the amount paid for the vehicle. This amount I am told is interest, including late fees and charges assessed for an Attorney. Had Coastal Credit and namely an employee by the name of XXXX XXXX given me the information I requested various times rather than tell me to contact their attorney and when I asked for the attorney information then advise me that he could not give me that information that I would need to get it, this could have been rectified. Today XX/XX/XXXX I was transferred to an individual by the name of XXXX that advised me that I was taken to court in XX/XX/XXXX and they received a judgment for $ XXXX I called the court the courts state there is a document signed by me, yet I did not appear so who signed this document. Then XX/XX/XXXX someone by my name came to the court and filed an exemption to stop a garnishment, that is not possible as I was injured at my job XX/XX/XXXX and then back and forth to physical therapy so I again could not have appeared in court for this either. This situation has me very confused and very stressed. I am going to the courthouse to obtain these documents that I supposedly signed. My main concern is how a company can take such a small amount owed and turn it into another vehicle purchase price amount. I now have another court date on XX/XX/XXXX in regards to this situation and the fact that I have not made any payments. Their lack of honesty and lack of providing a running statement that shows beginning balance and credits has proven to be very questionable.

On XXXX/XXXX/2015 at XXXX a voice mail was left on my phone XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX ext XXXX. The person on the phone advised she was calling to speak with XXXX XXXX XXXX my step daughter ) regarding an auto loan with their company. She also said that this is a pretty serious situation that requires her immediate attention. My voice mail gives my name, not XXXX 's. Immediately after she called my cell number, she called my husband 's cell ( XXXX XXXX ). She advised him that that XXXX was behind on an auto loan and that legal proceedings had been started against her. In both instances this woman ( her name is XXXX XXXX ) disclosed information to a third party, she advised legal proceedings were taking place when in fact they ca n't be as XXXX does not have a loan with them. I returned the call to the phone number listed on my caller id ( XXXX ) and asked for extension XXXX. XXXX XXXX answered and advised me that she had spoke to my daughter. I then asked her if she was aware of the FDCPA and she said yes. I asked why she had disclosed information on my voice-mail and then to my husband. She said she is following the FDCPA guidelines. FDCPA clearly states that the person calling can not leave a message advising someone has debt or disclose to someone who is a third party. This makes XXXX violations and possibly more. We are also aware that they contacted XXXX 's mother XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on her cell phone with the same information. I do have the recording of the phone message on my phone if it is needed. I also find it interesting that when I called the company XXXX XXXX could not find the information immediately and made the comment that it was under the last name of XXXX ( XXXX 's former married name ) but when she left the message on my phone and also when she spoke with my husband she used the correct name of XXXX. Please be advised that no one in my family owes a debt to this company.

Coastal Credit, LLC out of XXXX, TX contacted my neighbor on her cell phone several months ago and left a message that they were trying to reach me. I called back and it turns out they 're trying to get in touch with a woman who shares the same first and last name as me, who lives on the opposite side of the state. She has a different middle initial and is a decade younger than myself. I know this because he tried confirming I was her by giving me her full name, date of birth and city of residence. Today, I get a call from a coworker who says she got a call on her cell phone from Coastal Credit, LLC trying to reach me. I called back and it was the same person from Coastal Credit still trying to get in touch with this other person. He tried confirming I was this other person by giving me the street she lived on. I had enough information between both calls to pull up this other persons address, phone number, prior and scheduled court dates and public voting registration. Coastal Credit has been told twice that I 'm not the same person they 're looking for, have no outstanding debt, no account with them and they 've been asked to stop contacting me and my known associates. When I asked how they got my neighbors and coworkers information, the response was, " It 's just what we do. '' I have no idea how my information has been mixed up with this other persons even though we share a first and last name, but on two occasions they have contacted friends and coworkers. If I 'm not mistaken, according to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, they ca n't contact 3rd parties trying to collect a debt. They also shared this woman 's information to a 3rd party to the degree that I could walk up and knock on her door if I were inclined to drive across the state.

On Friday XXXX XXXX around XXXX XXXX from Coastal Credit Auto loans threatened to destroy my credit and garnish my wages if I did not make an arrangement to settle my debt with them even when I stated several times that I was calling to make arrangements on settling my debt. He went on and on about when I bought the car how I was making the payments up until two months ago and it was not his fault that I was in an accident and that he was going to make sure that over half of my wages be garnished and how would I like that? When I asked him if he was threatening me he laughed. This back and forth kept on until I finally asked him what he was going to do? Either he was going to sue me or take my arrangement? He said that I better not bounce the check on XXXX XXXX or they were going to garnish my wages. Per federal guidelines this is unacceptable. I felt threatened and bullied into arranging a payment that I can not afford. I am seeking your assistance in the matter first before taking other legal actions. This is not my first threatening encounter with representatives at coastal credit company. Approximately two weeks prior to this phone call another representative from the company, XXXX, did the exact same thing. I hung up on him after he said that he was going to report to the credit bureaus that I refused to cooperate with the company and I refused to pay. I told him that his conversation was recorded and that he was lying and I will no longer communicate with him unless its in writing. I have yet to receive a letter from Coastal Credit company stating that they are suing me for the balance. I only have received threatening calls.

This is my 10th time disputing, complaining, asking for proof, documentation, and validity that this is my debt with this company. This company continues to report false information monthly on my credit file as if I have interest that accrues every month. The address that they have in their database is an old address that I have lived in the past. However, this address was also used to purchase a vehicle in my name with my social, dob, etc. I have filed a police report in the past because I am a victim of identity theft. I have had someone get a apartment in my name before and now a vehicle and I've had no problem getting the apartment removed from my credit report. I have reached out to Coastal Credit several times about this same issue and have not yet received anything showing that I am responsible for this debt or if it is mine. Every time that I ask for this information from the credit reporting agencies they continue to state that the debt is valid without any proof. They stated that they tried to work out a settlement with me. I was never contacted about a settlement and why should I have to pay for someone else 's debt. This is unfair to me because its causing me to have problems getting my vehicle refinanced with my credit union. This information is reporting inaccurately to XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. And again, please show me PROOF that this was my vehicle or my debt. Anyone could have signed off on this vehicle in my name. As stated before I have been a victim of identity theft since XX/XX/2011. Please have this removed from my credit file IMMEDIATELY!

I had an auto loan with Coastal Credit. The car was repossessed in XX/XX/2019 and still has not been sold. I talked with XXXX, the account representative who is handling the account and he said that they haven't been able to auction the car due to titling issues in my state. Despite not selling the car, Coastal Credit has harassed me and all of my listed references about this account. They have shared personal information and are acting very unprofessionally. In addition, they have been using the XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX system to habitually check my employment every week. Somehow, they managed to get my work email address, which I did not give them as I just started this job, and have sent me harassing emails threatening to sue me and garnish my wages, despite not selling the vehicle. I considered settling on the account because XXXX told me that once they sold the car they would refund me what I overpaid, but considering their shady practices thus far, I don't feel confident that they would be fair and give me what's owed once the vehicle is sold.I have no problem with paying my balance, however, I am requesting that this company sells the car, as they are required to do, and let me know what my final balance is. Then, I will settle my account. In the meantime, I ask that they only communicate with me in writing and stop harassing me at my workplace, and via my references.

I financed a XXXX XXXX with Coastall Credit LLC in XX/XX/XXXX. I got out of the military on XX/XX/XXXX on an XXXX XXXX XXXX quickly and unexpectedly. I made the XX/XX/XXXX payment. For XX/XX/XXXX, I informed the company that my va XXXX from the military would be later than usual due to the circumstances. The lady told me that it would n't be an issue. I got notified that I would receive my money XX/XX/XXXX. I informed the lady at the company that it would be in on XX/XX/XXXX. On the morning of XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX, a repo company, came and repossessed the vehicle. When I called the company, the lady told me that I violated my contract with coastal credit by getting out of the military and that 's why she was repossessing the vehicle. None if the paperwork I signed said that I had to be in the military to keep the car loan. The car was sold at an auction and the remaining balance placed on my credit report. I have filed multiple disputes and the company continues to hold the account on my credit. Recently as of XX/XX/XXXX. Coastal credit union changed the amount owed from XXXX roughly to 13,000+. The car was unfairly repossessed. And the balance is remaining on my credit report destroying all possibility of getting a, new car. On top of all that, the company continues to sporadically conduct inquiries to my credit report.

Garnishment total {$14000.00} I never received any knowledge of this action until I was approached with garnishment by my employer. For the past year my checks have been garnished biweekly for a total payment of over {$7000.00}. With all my payments this past year my new balance is {$8900.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX Coastal Credit LLC filed another judgement for the same auto loan in the State of Oklahoma in the District Court of XXXX County - Case # XXXX. Now they are seeking additional interest for a total garnishment of {$20000.00} Both garnishments have been sent to my employer. This is beyond harassment. They are malicious. How can they have 2 judgements against me for the same auto loan??? I have already been charged once and I have been paying? Why are they seeking more money. This is illegal. They can't do this. I am contacting a litigation attorney to bring harassment charges and to have the judgements dismissed for malicious intent to obtain unlawful action against me and to get additional money not owed to them.

There is a company that has called me daily for the the past 3 business days. They are leaving threatening messages for members of my family on my telephone number. I answered two of the calls today and the man, XXXX stated I was lying and repeatedly called and left threatening messages. This is the message they left : this is XXXX contacting you once again in regards to a case is ready to be filed through XXXX XXXX county I've reached out to you several times over the last few days and all correspondence has been ignored at this point they are intending on proceeding with the order of location for _______ to your residence understand that he does still have a legal right to contact the office filing the case I will provide the information to that office once again just said that there is no way for you or him to state that you had no prior knowledge of this matter the phone number provided to that office is XXXX this is considered a final legal notification by telephone and ______will be located at your residence unless I'm instructed otherwise This is not a legal matter as I called back to verify and they are calling, harassing, regarding very old debt. In addition, I explained this is not those persons numbers and they still called. One lady said the company name is Coastal in XXXX Georgia.

OnXX/XX/XXXX I received an email from a collection representative stating my account was past due. Upon receiving the email, I noticed that the email was not only sent to me, it was sent to other customers with past due balances and our names were included. Also the mini Miranda was not mentioned anywhere in the email. I contacted Coastal Credit and spoke with a collection manager by the name of XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and made him aware of what the representative had done. XXXX stated that he had to contact the Vice President in reference to the issue and would get back with me the same day. On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted XXXX because I had not received a return call and he stated that they were handling the issue internally and there was nothing else they could do. I informed XXXX that I was aware the punishments that could apply to a creditor for violations of the FDCPA and I would like to be compensated for being violated. He stated that would start a formal complaint. OnXX/XX/XXXXI received a call from XXXX XXXX ( a supervisor with Coastal Credit ) and he stated that the company knew the agent had violated the FDCPA and it was handled internally but after speaking with their legal counsel I am due any compensation and I could move forward with my complaints and any legal action.

I have a car loan with Coastal Credit LLC. I have had this loan since XX/XX/2019. My payment is due on the XXXX of every month. When I applied for my loan they asked me to provide references of people I know. I never should have done that. If the XXXX or XXXX comes and my payment has not yet been made they will harass me all day long with at least 5 calls minimum during the day while I'm at work. If I don't answer the phone, the next day they start calling all the references I gave them telling them its Coastal Credit and they are trying to contact me and I'm not answering the phone. Then they ask if the person knows where I am. Keep in mind my payment is only three days behind at this point. This is absurd. Also they keep demanding i MUST provide them with a a bank account number so they can set up a direct withdrawal. I will never do that for any debt. I am aware that the law is on the side of the creditor if a direct withdrawal is set up. I have never had any past due payments with them, no 30, 60, 90 days late etc. I have also requested that any further communication that Coastal Credit wants to make with me be by mail only, NO MORE PHONE CALLS to me or the references. The Coastal Credit person involved is XXXX XXXX Coastal Credit Account Representative XXXX

I incurred debt with XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. I made payments until i fell on hard times in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX contacted me up until XX/XX/XXXX in regards to collection but stopped after that. My debt was apparently sold to a company out of Georgia called XXXX XXXX who started to call me on XX/XX/XXXX. I told them i would have to research the loan as they were very unwilling to give me any info except they kept telling me they were going to file fraud charges against me. After I did some research and before I had a chance to call them back they contacted my son and threatened him that they were going to file fraud charges against me. He notified me and I called them and told them they cant talk to my relatives about my debt according to the Fair Debt Collection act. They didnt care. And in turn threatened me with 3 charges for 1 debt. I also informed them that California has a statue of limitations regarding collection of debt which had expired. He was clueless regarding that statute. This was a very frustrating experience as they wouldn't let me talk and would talk over me all the time with threats. I offered to pay a portion just out of good faith but they said all or nothing so I said we will see you in court.. Horrible experience

I have a loan through Coastal Credit LLC that I have been paying on for nearly 3 years. Mostly all of my payments have been on time or early. I have even asked them at one point about refinancing the loan for a lower interest rate, they told me they do not do that. I found that to be odd. A few months ago, I received an email stating that qualified for a payment deferment, i replied back that I would be interested as it was near the holidays and it would be nice to have some extra money. I got a response that it was sent to me in error and I did not qualify. The representative on the other end of the email was terrible! These past couple of months have been rough, my husband has fallen quite ill and I have been struggling with bills, Im still making my payments but late, well within a 15 day grace period but I was informed today, they have no grace period and they continuously harass me, my family, friends and call me at work multiple times a day even if I have communication with them! I have told them to stop and they wont! It is flat out disgusting! I have even given payment dates and I. Always pay when I say I will! I am at witts end with them!

Me and my husband purchased a vehicle with a dealership that used Coastal Credit as our lenders. My husband got out of the military and we unfortunately had to leave the state and move back home which put in in a lot of financial strain. We attempted to have the car picked up in New Jersey as that is where we were located. The car was never picked up and we were continuously harassed about making payments. Fast forward to recently having to go through an ordeal with courts where we live now as they are attempting to garnish my wages for an amount that hasn't been specifically explained and documentation has not be furnished to show why that specific amount is being asked for. They were asked to come get the car and they did not do so. Instead it got impounded and then auctioned off. I am the only one working in my household right now and have dependents that depend on my checks. I cant afford for 25 % of my check to be taken. This debt is from XX/XX/XXXX and we are in XX/XX/XXXX. That is almost 7 years ago that this happened. They haven't attempted to contact and process anything until right now.

Due to my vehicle being totaled out, I paid the balance off for {$2900.00} on XX/XX/2019. I've reached out several times where each time a different story in reference to obtaining my title. I contacted Coastall Credit again on XX/XX/2019 to speak to someone in the title department and the representative stated XXXX was the only individual in the title department and she wasn't available at the moment. I received a call back by XXXX and was told I have to wait 60 days from payoff to see if the funds clear. I confirmed the bank has already deducted the funds from my account as to the information she started was incorrect. She then said that I could possibly retrieve the funds back however, after I called the bank, I was told that the merchant has received their funds already. XXXX then said that they have the title in hand, I asked for it to be released electronically, she refused. She stated that they're holding the title for 60 days from payoff and it will be mailed on XXXX XXXX, 2019 without just cause.

I financed a vehicle with Coastal Credit LLC in XX/XX/XXXX, the vehicle was repossessed in XX/XX/XXXX. Coastal Credit LLC reported it on my credit report as an Account written off, with balance of {$8600.00}. However, after they charged it off, they added interest and fees, the balance they are asking me to pay is {$13000.00}. I contacted them in several occasions. I contacted them for the first time years ago. Last time I talked to them was last week. They are not willing to set up any type of agreement. They have been rude ever since I gave the car back, I have been threatened with getting my chief of command contacted, which is the President of the United States. I have been willing to work with them but havent received the same treatment on their behalf. They are asking for the full amount of {$13000.00} and they told me they will take me to court if I dont pay the full balance.

I let each of these companies know that I did not recognize the inquiries that THEY placed on my credit report. I asked each company to provide me with a written consent from me indicating that I agreed to the credit inquiry. After several hours on the phone getting nowhere with each of these companies and getting the runaround, I decided to send a formal letter to them ( each letter is attached ). I have found that most of the companies that are reporting information out on my credit report are receiving their " inquiry '' from a 3rd party and are not the actual furnisher of the data. This fact makes it even more imperative to see the written approval with my signature.

In 2007, I had a car loan with Coastal Credit LLC, for a minivan. The van was a Lemmon ever since it was purchased, the 2nd day we had it the front breaks fell off while driving with my children in the vehicle. Finally we had enough and told Coastal Credit to come pick it up. They took the van and sold it. We received a phone call from a very rude representative saying the van was sold and it was charged off and taken as a company loss because they were not making a profit on it. We never heard from them again until I get a court judgement in the mail today for {$40000.00} which before they took the van, is more than the loan was for, much more. So, we don't hear anything from them for 11 years, and then we get court documents, 11 years later.

I have already filed a complaint XXXX time and I 'm about to do it again. First off I have filed bankruptcy so no one should be trying to take payments out of my account since I put a stop to all Auto Drafts just looked and a payment had try to be taken from my account on the XXXX of XXXX and the XXXX. As I stated I would have it paid in full and caught up by the end of the month. Then when I filed the first complaint they just decided nor to respond to it which they are required too do so. I already know I have NSF charges on my account but I can clear all that up. It 's not right how these companies feel they can do what they want to when they want to. Do n't want to be bothered or harassed I will make sure all is done that needs to be done.

I had a vehicle repossessed, but the repossession letter went to an address I never associated with, thus I never had knowledge that the original signer on the loan had become delinquent. I was the co-signed. I submitted a rebuttal letter to the repossession and notified the creditor that if I had been properly notified I could have rectified the situation. Since the vehicle was already sold, and I was not made aware prior to the sale, the creditor responded in a court document that I would not be held liable for the debt. This decision was granted six years ago. I was made aware two ( 2 ) weeks ago that the creditor is now negatively hitting my credit rating for the debt.

It was n't even XXXX payments, it was XXXX and a half payments behind when they repossessed the car. It 's been just under a year and I 'm trying to make payments. I have paid {$120.00} a month for the past 3 months in which they are taking. I called them to get a bill mailed to me and they said the payments I 'm making are n't enough and they are taking me to court. They also said I could pay {$120.00} a month for the rest of my life and never pay the debt because it is going straight to interest. So basically, my {$11000.00} loan is going to haunt me forever.

I opened a loan with Coastal Credit in XX/XX/XXXX. Payments were consistently made on time. The vehicle started giving me problems so I initiated a voluntary repossession. After two payments I closed the account due to fraudulent charges ( unrelated to Coastal Credit ) and did notify them. I told them I would be paying either over the phone or online for the duration of the loan. Coastal Credit continued to try and withdraw funds from my closed account and would not discontinue until after six months. Now Coastal Credit will not allow me to pay online.
