I received a call from Clearview Resolution Services this morning, phone number XXXX. The call was an automated message stating they were " unable to process [ my ] payment and [ I ] needed to contact them back immediately to resolve this issue. '' Before calling them back, I logged into my bank account and checked all of my payments. All had cleared, nothing was pending. That is when I knew this was a scammer. I decided to call back to see what they said and to get the name of the company, if they stated one. When I called the number a man answered " Clearview Resolution Services, can I help you. '' I stated, " I 'm not sure, you called me. '' He ask me to hold. I timed it, I held for approximately three minutes. When he came back on the phone he asked if I was, i.e., XXXX XXXX. I stated, " no. '' He asked again, " You are not XXXX XXXX? '' And I stated again, " No, I am not XXXX XXXX. '' Then he asked, " Do you know XXXX? '' And I stated, " No, I 'm sorry, but I have never heard of her before. '' He proceeded to ask, " How long have you had your current telephone number? '' I advised, " I do not know how that information is relevant to you, but over two years. '' He then stated, okay, we will contact the, i.e., " Hometown, State '' records, for current information on XXXX XXXX. I told him, good-luck and goodbye. The name this man originally asked for was close to my maiden name, but not correct. Secondly, I did n't correct him because I did not want to give him " my correct maiden name ''. In addition, I have not used that name in over 25 years. Also, I filed bankruptcy 9 years ago so I know there are no collections or other accounts on my credit besides the new accounts I have built in the last 8 years. And since, I meticulously check my credit scores monthly, I know for certainty that my current accounts are in good standing. Lastly, the reason I decided to report this call today and not ignore it is that last week my credit union alerted me that my identity and personal information could have potentially been breached through XXXX. I was sent a link to check my status and to determine if I was eligible for free credit monitoring. It was determined I was eligible for the service and I have signed up even through I already have my own identity theft protection. I feel this is the " first breach '' of my identity and personal information because this company was clearly going to try to scam me for a debt that is a counterfeit.

I received 4 calls total from XXXX. They called my cell phone, my home number, and my father 's cell phone on XX/XX/XXXX. I do not know how they got my father 's cell phone number as I have never listed his number with my name anywhere. Ever. but they left similar messages on all of the phone lines saying their name was XXXX XXXX, they were from XXXX XXXX XXXX, a claim was made and documents were in his office with my name, social, and birth date on them. He leaves a call back number which is XXXX. I called the XXXX number, the answering machine said that they were a Legal Services Department ( that 's all it said, no company name, nothing ) and to leave a detailed message and a call back number. I ca n't find any company on the internet with that name or number in my area. I called the XXXX number twice but the call went to an answering machine and told me to visit their website http : //www.clearviewresolutionservices.com/. I could not find any company or information on that phone number either.. So, I did some research on the website and came up with another number which was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, which when I called, a machine told me a whole different company name and/or department, I ca n't remember what it was called. I received another call from the same XXXX number on XX/XX/XXXX, and he basically said because of my negligence, they were going to continue to move forward with the process and urged me or my attorney to contact them on the matter that same day. I figured it was a scam because I had not received anything in the mail about any kind of claim made against me and he did not mention that it was an attempt to collect a debt or anything, he just said a claim was filed against me due to a failed banking transaction and he had all my details. I attempted to call the company a few times today, XX/XX/XXXX, but after repeated calls due to bad phone signal, they kept throwing me on hold without saying anything, one instance where some guy used my full name to answer instead of " How may I help you? '' then the XXXX proceeded to call me 2 more times and left a silent voicemail. I had a similar phone call a few months ago about someone coming to my house to get some claim papers signed, but they called multiple times and left the same recorded message and that let me know it was a scam, so I 'm a bit cautious about XXXX XXXX XXXX trying to scam me out of money.

He even went as fraud to break the law by threatening me and making false claims, advising of legal action and garnishment of wages. I tried to work with XXXX XXXX and I asked them to stop taking bi-weekly payments for a week or two and when then would not I closed my bank account. A few month later they sent my information to a collection company called Clearview ever since I have been getting non stop harassment calls. They call family members including my elderly parents and my dad who is extremely ill with XXXX XXXX. I'm including everything that I found on this company plus email that I sent to them trying to resolve the issue. I have been wanting to pay them by either a cashiers check or money order and they do not respond to my request. I even spoke to them and they only want my current bank information or debit card number which I refuse to give. XXXX XXXX did offer a settlement of {$700.00} and no one has responded to that email. Now, for every harassment call I receive I'm deducting for what I owe them since I feel they are not really interested in settling they only want my bank information to continue to take money out. Here are a few of the numbers that continue to call, it changes dailyPlease stop the harassing calls. I got two more today. I sent you several emails ( see below ) and I have requested an address so I may send a money order or cashiers check. I do not want calls. I want an address and will send the settlement per my conversation with XXXX XXXX and for ever call the settlement goes down for my pain and suffering of being harassed ; so now it's {$610.00}. XXXX XXXX XXXX -XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX - XXXX XXXX phone numbers. They tell me the authorities will be coming to arrest me and they are taking me to court.

I do not know what they are referring to because they will not tell me what it is referring to. I am in a Chapter XXXX. But they have called me repeatedly before XXXX XXXX and after XXXX XXXX Then they called my son! He texted me about this and I told him to go on scam alert and see all of the complaints. But now he may get repeated calls from them to get me to contact them. Which I did and nobody would tell me what this concerns me about and why the harassing phone calls. I am afraid they will start calling my work! Which I saw some of the complaints that they did on some of these victims. I am on the Do Not Call List and they are not recognizing that. I have not received a letter or anything on what this is about! They have threatening me on the voicemail that a petition is going to court and I must call them in 72 hours to appeal it. Appeal to what? This phone call happen on XXXX XXXX, XXXX at XXXX XXXX and left a message. Then when I called them today XXXX XXXX I was a little bit upset that they called my son and was told that I must be fully calm or they will end this call. I was firm about what is this call about and they would not answer my question. So I told them I would be filing a complaint. On XX/XX/2020 at XXXX XXXX I got a call from my local sheriffs dept. caller is was XXXX. Officer asked me if I had a loan with XXXX XXXX and advised me a criminal complaint was filed on me and is a misdemeanor for each check that I stopped to XXXX XXXX inXXXX hr had all of the current balance and original loan information and advised me to contact XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX. At XXXX XXXX I had an 8 min conversation with XXXX and he said tht I can settle for 25 % of the balance for XXXX $ today to avoid criminal charges and the CFPB would issue a grant for the rest because I am a single mother. He even offered to call my mom and help get the kk way to settle it. I declined that offer. I contacted XXXX XXXX and confirmed they sold it to XXXX who has placed it with XXXX XXXX for collections who outsourced it to XXXX XXXX XXXX I called my local sheriffs off ice and the said they have gotten numerous calls about them contacting people about debt for criminal charges and said their Number was most likely spoofed.

A representative named XXXX XXXX from XXXX Department called me at approximately XXXX saying that they are in possession of a debt XXXX from XXXX from XXXX 2007 in the amount of {$300.00}. He said that I am being named in a Civil Lawsuit as the Respondent pending a lawsuit of up to {$15000.00}. I was asking for verification information because I do n't recognize the debt and it 's ten years old. He was rude and angry he also over talked me and then hung up the phone in my face. He never offered to send me a confirmation letter of the debt. He called my estranged husband with the same threats and we are separated.

Some one called my by the name XXXX XXXX and he kept saying there was a complaint with his client, but never revealed their name, and told me I had 48 hours to respond or they will pursue a lawsuit. This was on Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX. Then he called back yesterday ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and said he will treat this as none responsive. And i called the XXXX X XXXX and the recording said this is Clear View Resolutions, but the man said a different company and it sound like his voice was reading from something while telling me about the procedures. I have talked to an Attorney and he said they suppose to tell me who they are calling for and how much debt it was. So he also told me i shouldn't call back until he gives more info. It sound like a Scam, but he shouldn't be calling me and harassing me.

XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/2018 XXXX XXXX from Clearview Resolution Services made calls to an old employer, left messages and spoke with receptionist, in detail, about debt owed. I have tried, repeatedly to call this company to figure out what the bill is for, and until I unblocked my phone number, it would not go through. XXXX XXXX harassed the receptionist at my prior place of employment, telling her that they were going to serve me papers there. Then she accused me ( after I finally got through to them ) of being the one who answered the phone and proceeded to tell my that I am a liar and a fraud. XXXX XXXX at Clearview Resolution Services is rude, and threatening. I believe this violates all the laws in place to to protect the consumer.

My original loan from XXXX XXXX was quickly sold to a company XXXX XXXX who I never heard from. They told me my debt was sold to Clearview Resolutions. These people referred me to Clearview Associates who its my understanding is a payment processing center. They told me I have to speak with XXXX XXXX at XXXX. This man XXXX (? ) threatened Court actions. I have never received any paperwork from anyone other than XXXX XXXX. When I asked this XXXX guy for copies of the three mailings they gave me I was emailed one ( what seemed like a generic letter ) with the current date from a Clearview XXXX XXXX. And it didnt even have my apartment number on it. I want to pay my bill but not to a scammer. How can I be sure Im not being scammed?

This company has made calls to myself, my wife, my daughter, and coworkers about alleged debt. The company representative told coworker that a summons was being issued to my place of employment and I or a manager needed to be there. I called the number given to ask about the debt and to request that my employer nor anyone but myself be contacted regarding the debt and representative said their office doesnt make the calls and he had no way of stopping calls. I wish to request for them not to contact me but they will not give me a way to do so. They threaten serving me but will not honor request to stop contacting.

I received several message from XXXX at Clearview Resolution Services asking me to call him back by a certain time regarding case XXXX. I called left a message for him, telling him I am not the named person for whom he was calling ( asking for a XXXX, I am not a XXXX ) and he never called back. Today, I received a message from XXXX from XXXX threatening to serve me at a specific address or the place of work. He continued telling me that I needed to " sign '' for the paperwork or legal action will be taken. I have no clue what they are talking about nor do I care.

I have already been paying off my loan with a debt management plan. I was not made aware that it was sold off. The debt management company has still been sending the checks to the original creditor and they have been cashing the checks and not forwarding the money to the debt collector in which they sold the account to. The person who contacted me harassed my family members and claimed that I was to be sued if I didnt pay by visa or prepaid card. He also read off my complete social security number. A XXXX XXXX calls to state they need information on a debt. They will not say who the creditor is. They seem to be trying to fish for personal information. They state they are from Clearview Resolution and are in the Department of Civil Processing. She states her extension is XXXX. They call from number XXXX and want you to call them at XXXX. They also have a guy stating his name is XXXX XXXX call ; he states his is from XXXX XXXX XXXX wanting to drop off something that needs to be signed. And refers you back to the XXXX

In accordance with the fair credit reporting act, XXXX account number XXXX, has violated my rights. 15 USC 1681 section 602A states I have the the rights to privacy. 15 USC 1681 section 604A section 2 it also states, a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions. 15 USC 16665 a creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose.

Clearview Resolution Services XXXX lied to my daughter, by saying she would be required to attend financial education classes at {$50.00} per class for several weeks if she did not pay {$500.00} XXXX. This was a XXXX loan, and my daughter was now XXXX. My wife used a credit card to make payment for my daughter. They provided no information by mail or email that there was any class requirements or judgements.
