I received a Investors Bank mail flyer advertising a {$200.00} promotional offer to open a " Yourstyle '' checking account. I opened this promotional account at the XXXX, NJ branch of Investors with the Assistant Branch Manager, XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. My family member who had also received the same promotional offer flyer, opened his " Yourstyle '' checking account at the same time. XXXX explained to us that in order to get the {$200.00} reward, we must both do either an ACH direct deposit of {$500.00}, or have 10 point of sale ( POS ) transactions using our Investors Bank debit card linked to the account within the first 90 days after we opened our account ( s ). After 90 days of account opening Investors Bank will verify that we did either the ACH or POS and then credit the {$200.00} reward ( s ) to our checking account ( s ) by the end of the 4th statement cycle from account opening. Since neither of us have direct deposit we told XXXX we would do the required 10 POS debit card purchases to qualify for the {$200.00} reward ( s ). Subsequently, we both did our respective 10 POS purchases around XX/XX/XXXX and we waited for the end of the 4th cycle ( XX/XX/XXXX ) to receive our respective {$200.00} reward. When my family member did not receive the {$200.00} reward, he called Investors Bank and XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to find out why and she said he had to do the 10 POS each and every month -- not just one time to get the {$200.00} reward. He replied this was not what she explained to us last XXXX at account opening and moreover the confusing language of the offer does not appear to say it has to be done each and every month -- only one time ( see attached promotional offer document ). XXXX replied she did not recall our conversation last XXXX in this regard and referred him to call her boss, Manager XXXX XXXX. Later that day on XX/XX/XXXX, He spoke to XXXX who admitted that she also had to re-read the offer document five times because the language was not clearly written and indeed confusing. XXXX finally determined that the offer required us to do 10 POS purchases after waiting 90 days from account opening and before the end of the 4th statement cycle from opening -- not within 90 days from account opening as we were told by XXXX when we opened the account ( s ) and therefore the 10 POS purchases we did within the first 90 days did not count for the reward. He told XXXX, had the confusing offer language been explained to us accurately it would have been very easy for us to do the 10 POS after waiting 90 days ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and before XX/XX/XXXX ( offer deadline ) instead. We only followed what we were told by XXXX ( a Investors Bank Assistant Manager ) who appears to have misunderstood the confusing language of the offer and we should not be penalized because we also did not understand the confusing language of the offer. As a resolution, He suggested to XXXX that we be given a short time extension of the offer to do 10 additional POS purchases to qualify for the {$200.00} reward as the XX/XX/XXXX deadline had just ended the day before. XXXX agreed the language of the offer was very confusing and she said she would escalate the issue to her boss and see if his suggestion was doable. The following week XXXX informed him that her back office said they did not have the capability to extend the offer deadline and XXXX also said the issue had been escalated by XXXX 's boss to her Superior to see what can be done. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX called to say her big boss had decided to deny our complaint but XXXX said he could call Investors Bank Compliance Department about the confusing offer language to see if they can help. He called the Compliance Department on XX/XX/XXXX and was told by a Investors Bank representative named XXXX that Compliance does not speak to customers directly. He explained the unfair circumstances of our complaint to XXXX who then called XXXX to verify his statements. After speaking to XXXX, XXXX filed a request on our behalf to Compliance to investigate our complaint. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX called to say that Compliance agreed the offer language was confusing and that they would make changes for future offers but that they could not overrule XXXX 's big boss 's denial. He told XXXX that Investors Bank was being unfair and unreasonable and XXXX said she was sorry she could not help. Please be advised that my family member has filed the same complaint for his account in a separate filing with CFPB.

On, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I opened XXXX money market accounts and XXXX checking account at Investors XXXX Bank located at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, NJ XXXX. XXXX. XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX. XXXX There had been a previous account at the bank which was opened on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX XXXX. XXXX Because of the large amount of money being deposited at Investor 's XXXX Bank, it was agreed that the branch would give me a higher interest then their regular customers. For several years, the money sat in the accounts and if I wired money out of any of the accounts, I shortly thereafter replaced it. Over the years, there were numerous errors on giving me the correct interest rate. Some examples are on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, etc. There were too many dates to list. Numerous times I reached out to the Branch manager and to XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX, but on occasion, attempts were made to correct these errors but this was not always successful and in frustration, I just gave up as it was too time consuming for me to take time away from my business to correct the bank how to adjust the correct interest, have them attempt to correct the errors and then have to show them that they still had short changed me and in desperation, I just gave up. The correct interest has never been fully credited back to my account with an accounting of the correct interest amount at the time and what the correct rate I should have been given. Another issue that I have with the bank is that on occasion I called the bank and followed up with an email/fax to have money wired to me. XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, Up until recently, the bank complied and then just recently when I tried to wire money on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX to my stock broker to pay for stocks that I had purchased and needed to be paid for, the branch manager, XXXX XXXX, and vice president, XXXX XXXX, both refused to do a wire transfer, stating that the bank will not allow me to do any wire transfers. They told me to come to the branch to withdraw the money knowing that the branch is located in New Jersey and I reside in Arizona. After much anguish and running to and from the stock brokerage firm, the bank adamently refused the wire transfer and insisted on sending me a bank check. I vehemently objected to this but the bank wa adament they were not going to wire the money. The bank did not have the right to refuse me to do a wire transfer. I was so annoyed over what happened, that I closed out all of my accounts at the bank. In doing this, I wanted the bank to make me whole on the money that I was cheated out of due to their negligence in not correctly calculating the interest from day XXXX when I opened the accounts. XXXX, the VP, insisted that she herself perused the accounts and found that the bank shorted me approximately {$500.00} +. My calculations came to approximately {$900.00} +. When XXXX review the accounts, she now came up with a number close to {$100.00}. It was as if XXXX just picked any number out of a hat to keep me quiet and her numbers were always changing.This is unacceptable to me. I want to be made whole on all the interest not given to me plus with interest on the time that the bank has had use of that money, too. I must admit that dealing with Investor 's XXXX Bank was quite an experience after XXXX XXXX stopped working there. At times I felt like XXXX XXXX had no idea what I was talking about or what she was doing & I 'm convinced that XXXX XXXX never wanted to be bothered. Out of frustration after making so many calls recently & over the years to get my interest problems straightened out, I reached out to XXXX XXXX, the bank CEO. He assured me that he had assigned my case to XXXX of his employees that would be calling me later in the day, yet no one called in over a week.

Investors Bank officially acquired XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX. As part of the terms of the merger, Investors Bank agreed to maintain a Service Appreciation Program ( A Program that allowed for Program members to maintain any checking account chosen by them to be hold permanently free of charge ) created by XXXX XXXX XXXX for checking account holders who had the feature on the account at the time of the merger. Since then Investors BanXXXX has removed the fee waiver from my account, modified the account type, and has continued to charge monthly fees without providing any sort of written notice of the discontinuance of the discount/promotion that was agreed in writing to be transferred to Investors Bank as part of the merger agreement. As no written notice was given, the bank is in violation of CFR subsection 1005.8 and 1005.7 ( b ), part i, which states : 12 CFR 1005.8 - Change in terms notice ; error resolution notice. A physical paper check for our XX/XX/2020 mortgage payment for {$3100.00} was mailed on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I used the chat help desk to ask Investors Bank why check hadn't been deposited. They told me they haven't received the check, and advised me to wait longer before making an alternate payment, as I had a grace period until XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I called because the payment was still not processed. I was informed that the check had still not been received, but was advised that a new service for electronic payments was recently released, so I signed up so that we could submit our XXXX payment in time to avoid a late fee. We worked with the customer service person to make sure that if the lost check was found, that they wouldn't deposit it. I provided the date, amount, and check number. I called my credit union and paid {$10.00} for a stop payment on the check in case the check was stolen while in transit. On XX/XX/XXXX, Investors Bank located the paper check that was previously lost and attempted to deposit it. On XX/XX/XXXX, they reversed the payment and charged a {$30.00} bounced check fee. I called them yesterday to remind them that we already sorted this out, they said they'd call me back about providing a refund for the {$30.00}. In the meantime, we stopped sending paper checks and set up automatic online payments through their online payment service, our first auto-payment was scheduled for XX/XX/XXXX. They charged my checking account twice for our XX/XX/XXXX mortgage payment. I received two email confirmations, with two payment IDs, both for the amount of {$3100.00}. I called the customer service number provided on the online payment website and was told by a customer service rep " The online payment system is actually a third party so we can't help you. I don't have their number so I'll have to ask around and call you back with the correct number. '' I can't log in to the online payment system myself - it says my username/password combo is incorrect. When I try to reset my password, it says username doesn't exist. When I submitted a request for my username, it tells me that the username is the one that I just attempted. Because the customer service number they provided is incorrect, and no one at Investors Bank knows the correct phone number, I'm unable to log in to my account or speak to a representative to end the online payment service. While I had this customer service rep on the phone I asked her if there was a follow up on the {$30.00} reversed payment issue as I never received any additional information. She said that they rejected the request for the refund because although the customer service rep took down all of the necessary info, they would still try to deposit any check that they received, no matter what. This is problematic as we don't have the means to to float an additional mortgage payment if a lost check is suddenly found, I imagine that would be the case for most consumers. I don't believe that I should be charged a {$30.00} bounced check fee for a check that was lost by the mortgage company when I made alternative payment and explicitly provided details of the original check to prevent the check from being deposited. So 3 separate issues within the past 3 weeks - 1 ) a lost check that was attempted to be deposited when I made an alternative payment 2 ) Investors bank incorrectly processed my XXXX mortgage payment twice through their electronic payment service and 3 ) They have no customer service number for the online payment service which they claim is through a third party, even though it's branded as Investors Bank with Investors bank customer service contact info.

BEING CHARGED LATE FEES AND POSSIBLE CREDIT REPORT PROBLEM DUE TO PROBLEMS IN MORTGAGE SERVICING BY INVESTORS BANK I have a mortgage with Investors Bank that I originated 2 years ago and have been paying on-time every month. I sent in my XX/XX/XXXX payment of {$2800.00} as I always do, via online billpay at my retail bank ( i.e. a check gets cut and mailed to the payee. ) Investors cashed the check on XX/XX/XXXX. Investors apparently had changed my escrow amount at year-end and didn't inform me. They called me on XX/XX/XXXX ( they waited until 3 weeks after cashing my check ; and after the XX/XX/XXXX due date for late fees ) to call me and said that I didn't make my XXXX payment because I was {$58.00} short ( they cashed the check and are holding my {$2800.00} in " unapplied funds ''. The amount of the escrow increase that they didn't let me know about. ) I immediately made a payment for that {$58.00} amount on Friday XX/XX/XXXX on my online billpay while on the phone with the Investors rep and updated my recurring payment amount. They said they would " re-send '' my escrow statement. On Monday XX/XX/XXXX, I receive a written statement stating that I owe late fees of {$87.00}. When I called the customer service number at XXXX, they said that the online billpay ( i.e. a written check gets sent to them via US mail ) I sent on Friday would likely not arrive before month-end, and they will report this " nonpayment of mortgage '' onto my credit report. Now on Monday afternoon XX/XX/XXXX, I'm trying to find a branch of Investors Bank to run to pay {$58.00} to ensure they get the amount before month-end so that they don't hit my credit report. QUESTIONS 1 ) Why did they cash my check, then wait 3 WEEKS to call to let me know it was short, after the mortgage due date, to let me know that I owe {$58.00}? 2 ) Why are they charging {$87.00} for the {$58.00} amount owed ( please note that principal, interest and most of escrow were already received ; this is a shortage in the escrow amount ) 3 ) Why have they cash my check for {$2800.00} and are holding it as " unapplied funds '', rather than applying it to my principal and interest? Do I get anything back for them carrying this money interest-free while charging me {$87.00} to hold onto my money? 3 ) Why didn't they send me proper notice and an escrow statement to let me know that the monthly amount changed? Escrow amounts change often for folks with mortgages if there is more money needed in the escrow account. The above leads me to believe that Investors is likely doing this to numerous other people who have automatic mortgage payments and escrow amounts change. CFPB, please help, this is not fair what they're doing.

I created a login for Investors Bank about one year ago ( XXXX ) just so I could download my paperless statements. I was logging in and downloading them every month but I haven't had a chance to download them for the last six months due to Covid. I tried to log into my account on XX/XX/XXXX and for some reason, the Investors Bank website will not accept my password, WHICH I KNOW TO BE CORRECT. I attempted to reset my password but the phone number which appears on-screen IS NOT my phone number. My phone number on my account as per the Investors website is XXXX. However, I have no phone number that ends in " XXXX ''. Since the Investors ' only method of authentication which allows me to reset my password is done by either calling or texting this number, obviously, I was not able to reset my password and therefore, not able to log into my account. More importantly, it is evident that INVESTORS has commingled my private, confidential information with that of another customer because the phone number listed on my account IS NOT/HAS NEVER BEEN my phone number. Obviously, Investors Bank 's systems are NOT SECURE. In addition, when I set up the online banking to access my account I set it up under my name, with my number, and with my email address. No other email addresses or phone numbers were part of my online profile. After the numerous attempts to log in tonight, my husband told me he received emails at his personal email about my account being locked. Again, why are people who are not part of an account getting information about my personal login and account information? It seems to me that Investors Bank is comingling information between unrelated accounts and unrelated user profiles. Obviously, their computer systems are not secure. My phone number in my profile was changed to an unrelated number without my consent. In addition, my husband received notifications to his email regarding my profile information when his information was never part of my account. This is a very serious breach of confidential, private information. The bank needs to fix my account immediately and reinstate all the prior phone numbers and passwords to what they were before they were changed without my permission. They also need to explain why this happened and they need to fix their systems so it does not happen again. I am floored that a bank this size is using XXXX systems similar to what a Mom and Pop business would use. It is shameful. Who knows the extent to which my information was breached.

I have tried multiple times to resolve this problem with Investors Bank and the problem just continues. Last complaint the Vice President of Mortgage XXXX XXXX overnighted a bunch of statement printout 's that we never received one of them. We also are not able to access any statement information from Investors Bank Website. We rely entirely on Investors website to provide accurate information on our loans and to date they have not done this. I have been reaching out to XXXX XXXX for over a year, at times she has passed the work on to someone in the department who should n't have been responsible for the problem. We have a bi-weekly mortgage and Investors has been paid 26 payments up to date, one payment was accidentally applied back in the Summer to a home equity loan. This triggered a late payment on the Bi-weekly payment, I contacted Investors multiple times and asked them to fix it. They did n't fix it and they did n't respond correctly to the problem. If they had fixed it properly when this happened, it would never have started this chain of events. To date when I log into Investors website, I see some ridiculous amount of money being owed. There is no way this information is correct because of the amount of payments Investors has received. We also seem to have a problem were Investors does n't seem to know how to verify the house is insured. They are named as a mortgagee on the policy and very easily can verify insurance with the same insurance company for the past five years. Instead we are sent threatening letters about insurance on the house and threatening letters regarding the payments on this account. Last letter I received two weeks ago said we were months past due on mortgage and they could take collection action. This information is incorrect and they should n't be sending letters like that. I really do n't know what to do about this problem because we have tried to resolve it with Investors multiple times, specifically with XXXX XXXX and also with this company. This Vice President mailing multiple years worth of statements we never received is clearly unacceptable, it just shows an attempt of Investors to continue their dishonest behavior.

This complaint is in relation to the loan process for my residential condominium mortgage with Investors Bank. I embarked the mortgage journey with Investors Bank at the end of XX/XX/2020. I received the approval letter nearly 3 months later, on XX/XX/2020. Investors Bank attributed the failure to deliver timely underwriting to the bank 's lack of operational capacity. The Bank 's operational limitation did not hinder it from making sales pitches that promised me, its customer. As a result of the delay, we, the customer, are bearing financial costs including lease extension and duplicated moving costs. Investors Bank should lack of accountability for its failure to provide promised service. Certain incidences that caused the significant delay include : 1. While the process formally kicked-off beginning of XX/XX/2020, the file was not reviewed by Mr. XXXX and team until XX/XX/2020. 2. While we submitted Home Insurance to Investors Bank at the beginning of XX/XX/2020, Investors Bank failed to incorporate it into our package. Resulting in a delay. 3. Investors Bank sent the Condominium Questionnaire to the wrong Association. Consequently, Mr. XXXX erroneously told us our condominium is unwarranted. My fianc and I subsequently discovered this error. 5. Investors Bank requested the building manager for Master Deed, bylaws and followed-up today ( XX/XX/XXXX ). However, the building manager confirmed she already submitted the documents on XX/XX/2020. Resulting in further delay. I escalated this matter to Mrs. XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2020. It is unclear why the loan continues to be delayed. When I questioned Investors Bank around its lack of accountability, one of its SVP proceeded to insult my integrity. I am questioning if it is the banks capacity issue resulting in deterioration in service quality, or the delay demonstrated ethnic discrimination against XXXX. Thank you.

We have had bi-weekly mortgage and a home equity loan with Investors bank for several years, when it was with XXXX there was no servicing problem. When Investors purchased XXXX the servicing became a complete nightmare. Their online system is a complete joke and is never correct, they do n't apply payments the proper way. We should never be charged more than 24 bi-weekly payments for the mortgage, so far this year we have paid 22 payments and should only owe investors to payments for remainder of this year. Their website shows we owe {$2000.00} and they probably will add another payment, this is n't correct. The HE loan should be no more than 12 payments in a year, we have paid 10 payments this year. Their website keeps adding payments no showing we owe {$970.00} and that is n't correct. I was working with some girl called XXXX XXXX who was responding until I threatened to report Investors for their terrible servicing. They have had these mortgages a complete mess from day one. This year they went into the account and made all these corrections but it 's a complete mess again. It 's not like I have n't tried to fix this problem. A mortgage payment was made in error to the HE loan, I told XXXX to fix it instead investors ignored my requests. When we took this loan we were given an option that this could be taken off bi-weekly and made into a monthly payment plan. Investors seem to have lost paperwork in the process. I do n't think Investors is servicing this account but maybe another party. We get these random typed bills from this bank occasionally, it is n't even like a regular statement. We own another home and have that mortgage with another bank and we have none of these problems. Every month XXXX sends a detailed bill out showing how all payments are applied, it is n't some unprofessional bill. Please help us because this bank is terrible.

I applied for an " eAccess Money Market account '' from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX NJ XXXX via an internet online application on XXXX. Upon completing the application online, I got an online message saying they are verifying all of my information. I was given a Reference Code of XXXX. I called several times and was told I'd be receiving an email and was told by other reps that I would be receiving a phone call. I never received an email or a phone call. On XX/XX/XXXX I called them again and was told by supervisor XXXX that my application was declined and I would be receiving an email notifying me of this and a letter giving the reasons. I never received an email or a phone call or an explanation. The CFPB requires that when one is declined for an account one receives the names of the Credit/Verification agencies consulted. I emailed and called numerous times asking for this but never received anything except a claim that I was sent an email statement " The email rejection letter was sent to you on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX. '' That was never received by me and I believe this is a false statement, as I have no problem receiving emails, this is the only entity claiming I was sent an email I never received, and I received every other email from Investors Bank except for this alleged one. I asked for it to be resent and was told that would not be possible, again making it clear that there never was such an email. I asked for the agency/agencies consulted for my information and was simply sent a list of every credit agency, but not the specific ones consulted. This is clearly a breach of the CFPB rules. I have opened a Business Checking account with Bank ( Investor 's Bank ) of XXXX XXXX NJ about a year and a half ago. I chose this bank because the business account carried no monthly fee. In XXXX of 2019 I was called by the bank representative and told that they are changing account terms and that starting XXXX my account will be charged monthly. At the end of XX/XX/2020 my mortgage bank, Investors Bank, offered me a forbearance for 3 months due to Covid-19 pandemic issues. The bank said I won't be penalized by this forbearance, but I was, indirectly. My monthly payment was around {$4200.00}. And after the forbearance began they added that unpaid amount that included principal, interest, and tax escrow to my total loan balance. In XXXX they extended my forbearance until XXXX, so by the time my forbearance ended my loan balance as reported to the credit bureaus has increased by almost {$25000.00}. On several occasions, my 3 credit reports blamed this increase in the lowering of my credit score. I began making my mortgage payments again in XXXX when our financial situation improved, and Investors Bank said they would report the correct loan balance to the credit reporting companies in XXXX. As of today, my loan balance is {$320000.00}, but both XXXX and XXXX are still reporting it as {$340000.00}. XXXX is reporting one month behind at {$320000.00}. I have notified Investors Bank several times, but it doesnt seem to help. I began a dispute with XXXX two months ago, but nothing has changed. I can not get through to XXXX to file a dispute, and I have tried numerous times. So, I have two issues, first, the forbearance was not supposed to hurt my credit, but the way Investors added {$25000.00} to my loan balance did affect my credit score. Second, I feel Investors is not doing enough to correct the reporting on my credit reports. I reached out to, on XXXX from an email and phone call I got, for what I thought was a reputable loan finder and they set me up with a bank in NYXXXX called Investors Bank. I knew better, but I was desperate for the {$5000.00} loan they were offering. I paid some upfront for, what I now know is scam charges such as bank connection fee and so forth.I paid them around {$620.00} in fees to complete the loan. I was n't fully aware no bank would ever ask for fees up front. They claimed they were having trouble depositing my loan into my account so they did a " test deposit '' of {$1400.00} which I figured was legit and I was to pay it right back and I 'd get the full amount of the loan. What I did n't see was they disputed my XXXX XXXX XXXX charge ( basically called as if they were me to the dispute dept at XXXX ) and XXXX credited me the XXXX rent, vs them actually " depositing '' money. That 's why that {$1400.00} was in there. So I paid it back to them, and they promised I 'd have the loan amount in my bank this am. I contacted XXXX as I got an email about the dispute and put XXXX and XXXX together. To stop my apts basically getting an NSF for XXXX rent, I had to cancel that dispute. It will come out of my account tomorrow and I 'll be negative, big time. All in all I lost around {$2100.00} to these people and they are still asking for more money for the " transfer fee '' to complete the loan. As i explained to their customer service I never received any documentation that the accounts became inactive, nor did I receive any notification or actual statements that statements were available. This pertains to actual mailings nor electronically. Customer service was able to credit {$45.00} to the passbook account, which is a rental account, bringing it to full compliance with the credit. Bare in mind that these funds do not belong to me and that I can not make any transactions in it. The actions to be taken for refunding the fees in the Passbook account, I was told, falls to the branch manager. After numerous attempts I was able to contact the branch. Speaking to XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), over the phone, i was informed that he was going to explain the situation to the branch manager XXXX XXXX XXXX and get back to me. Upon his return call the conclusion was a flat out no refund will be given. Pursuing this matter, I learned that I could not log on to my account. Dear Sir/Madam, I 'm very frustrated with Investors bank. I have had a relationship with them for 10 years and they chose to close my checking account after 2 months of no activity. I have consistently used that account the last 10 years, to make periodic deposits and to make occasional principal reductions to my mortgage. On XXXX XXXX I made a transfer which processed, and then one in XXXX and XXXX, which were both returned since the account was apparently closed. When I called the bank I spoke to XXXX, and she said the bank should have called or emailed me a notification about the closure, and she would look into it. She called me the following day and advised that they can close the account at their discretion, and never provided me an explanation. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and I spoke to XXXX. She promised to look into it. It has been 3 weeks and I have not heard back. I called and left a message for her on the XXXX. My mortgage is paid promptly, and it would be nice to understand why my account was closed without notifying me. The only reason I can see is that their new accounts charge fees, and they want to migrate their clients to those more profitable fee based accounts. Does n't feel like IB really wants my business. Mortgage fraud. My ex-husband took out a mortgage in XXXX, XXXX, for {$670000.00} without telling me and forged my name on all of the documents. I found it in public records in XXXX, post divorce. The original lender is XXXX XXXX XXXX. Investors Bank bought it and it was discharged in XXXX. My ex-husband 's lawyer is knowingly concealing these crimes and refuses to produce the documents because the divorce was finalized. Someone tampered with public records, because the mortgage is recorded with Investors Bank on it as the Lender and my name as the Borrower. The public record of this mortgage is notarized, yet I never signed anything related to this mortgage. The mortgage documents are filed in the XXXX County Courthouse. A subpoena for the mortgage documents and application was served upon Investors Bank last month. They refused to produce the documents to me. After several conversations with Investors Bank, they sent me a secure email stating that my social security number is not and has never been in their system. I received a check from my landlord for the refund of my security deposit of {$3500.00} I can not get a bank account in my name from ANY bank due being blacklisted by the banks because I closed 2 accounts several years ago with disputed negative balances from FEES assessed in error. So I went to the branch of INVESTORS BANK that handles the landlords account to cash the check. I presented proper ID but they refused to cash the check. It would have been ok if it was {$2500.00}. but for this amount would have to be deposited. Fine, I told them I would be happy to open ANY kind of account to deposit the check, and explained the disputes that appear on XXXX 's report. They refused to open the account or offer any alternatives to solve the problem. I had to take the check to a check cashing service which cost me {$77.00} and 40mins waiting for them to verify with my landlord, which they did. The bank could have done this if there was any worry of fraud. This is related to case # XXXX. I have a mortgage with Investors Bank. They made significant errors in servicing the account, including debiting extra unauthorized payments from a linked checking account and incorrectly applying the payments to the wrong amounts of interest/principal repeatedly. After about 9 months of issues and many complaints, they seem to have finally fixed that problem. This is a NEW complaint regarding the same account. In addition to the aforementioned issues, I just ran a credit report and discovered that Investors Bank erroneously reported a late/missed payment on the account in XXXX 2016, even though no payment was ever missed and, in fact, the payments were AUTOMATICALLY debited biweekly from a checking account at the same bank. Furthermore, the bank 's report to the credit bureau contains additional errors, such as the term of the loan ( not 25 months ) and the type of loan ( not an automobile loan ). This continues a pattern of sloppy, incompetent behavior by the bank. Please help us ensure that they fix this problem and do not create any additional ones in the future.

We had a mortgage with XXXX bank, investors bank took the loan over during acquisition. At the time of origination the loan was an automatic deduction from bank account, once investors took over we were told to pay thru their online system. Problem is payments have been applied in a way that makes no sense, they are applying partial payments when they should be full payments. They did fix the balance at one point but it 's all screwed up again. Every contact with the servicing department is giving a different answer each time you talk to these people. We are very frustrated because we have never received one statement from this account and their online mortgage system is n't accurate. I have called their customer service XXXX in XXXX, sent email XXXX and various emails to mortgage service department. They have put all these late charges on our account that we do n't owe, resulting in collection department constantly harassing us both at home and work. These people refuse to call you including the XXXX, I do n't know if the servicing is done by third party but it is unacceptable.

I have a conventional mortgage with investors Bank ( formally XXXX XXXX ) since XX/XX/XXXX. I paid down less than 20 % of the load which requires me to have a Private mortgage insurance. I 've been making extra payments on the account each month which reduced my loan-value-ratio significantly. My PMI based on the disclosure statement is due to be dropped in XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX when my loan reached 80 % of the loan to value ratio informed Investors Bank in writing twice for a removal of the PMI. The last correspondence was XX/XX/XXXX. My loan to value ratio is currently at 73 % ( Original home value {$200000.00} with current balance less than {$140000.00}. They failed to drop the PMI, stating that it 's due to be removed in XX/XX/XXXX and that I need a new appraisal ( they will have an appraiser from their bank contact me. To date I 've not been contacted by an appraiser ) to ensure that the property have n't decreased in value. My question is, should n't the PMI be dropped automatically when conventional loan reached 80 % of the original value based on federal law?

Hi I was charged by XXXX XXXX XXXX with an unauthorized charge and then them trying to cover it up after i disputed the charges by saying they have the product and reciept which was create after the dispute. Its been two months and this is my second dispute. The business reached out after I disputed and acted like they were going to supply a product. I asked them what product and they said they had a receipt for something I ordered, which was incorrect. I had received fraudulent charges on my card two other times thereafter that were denied due to me having my card locked at the time and in which the company tried to deny those charges as well. at the same time i addressed the store they forwarded me a text with reciept that showed they were giving me a deal with a discount!! This company does not follow proper business protocalls and is scammers with bad business ethics. Don't Let your info get in their hands. Investors Bank in NJ changed the type of checking account I have without my consent because they said they eliminated my type of account. They did not give me 30 days advanced notice before this change took place. The new terms on the account began on XXXX XXXX, 2016 the letter telling me there would be a change was received within the same week. I have had my account for 8 years and was not charged by Investors Bank if I used an ATM that they did not own. Now I am being charged {$3.00} for each of these types of transactions over XXXX. In the first two weeks of this change I have already been charged XXXX fees and the bank did agree after some arguing to reverse XXXX of the XXXX fees. Had I been given the advanced notice I may have chosen to look for a new financial institution since the only ATMs that will now be free are the ones Investors Bank owns, which there are about XXXX only located in the state of NJ.

I had a checking account with Investors Bank ( Acct No. XXXX ). This account also had an Overdraft Line of Credit associated with it ( Acct No. XXXX ). I closed my checking account on XX/XX/XXXX. Unfortunately the Branch did not close the line of credit associated with it at the same time ( it had XXXX balance at the time ), and this overdraft account has been on the bank 's books and I continue to receive monthly statements nearly four years after closing. I stopped by the XXXX Branch of the Bank on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to the Manager about this. He promised to have it closed, even though he could not do it on the spot in their systems. I received a notice yesterday ( XX/XX/XXXX ) that my escrow account was underfunded for XXXX and my escrow payment would be increasing in XXXX by {$700.00} a month ( {$8400.00} ) a year. This would be a roughly 60 % increase in my monthly payment. I called Investors Bank and they said it was because my account underwent a review in XXXX and my escrow was deficient and there were also increases in the estimated escrow for XXXX that needed to be spread over 12 months. I think this is terribly unfair for a bank to give a customer two weeks notice that their monthly escrow is increasing by {$700.00} per month for the next 12 months. There should be protocols in place to identify this shortage or under-funding well in advance of the new calendar year. How are families supposed to budget for this type of increase, especially right before the holidays?

Hello, I am applied for refinance back in XX/XX/XXXX and it took them til XX/XX/XXXX to process my loan refinance application. During the last stage they failed to notice I am in forbearance since XX/XX/XXXX and I paid that amount back to the original lender. In XX/XX/XXXX, I opened a home equity line of credit at Investors Bank ( account # XXXX ). In XX/XX/XXXX, we sold the house and informed Investors Bank of the sale. I told them that we no longer owned the house and would like to close the account. They never closed the account. I lost my car on XX/XX/2021 and 6 transactions were made using my Investors bank debit visa card. I opened a claim with my bank and they gave e provisional credit for only one of the 6 transactions. After a few weeks the claim for those other 5 transactions was declined because the conctacless was used for the payment, something that doenst tell anything if I authorized or not those transactions. I missed my payment a few times, not in a row, in the following months after, I paid extra to catch up each month.
