My loan officer was misleading me from the very beginning. When I had originally backed out of my first house he calls me and asks me why I did. I tell him all the issues with the house and his response is that he heard that the house wasnt " that bad '' and that I should've gone through escrow first to see what they were willing to fix. I was taken back by everything. I couldn't believe that my loan officer was almost pushing a house I didn't want on me. So I get to a house I like and it's time for escrow. I lose XXXX dollars through wire transfer. He called me and I tell him I got fraudulent wire transfer instructions through my realtors email address ( which she claims to know nothing about ). He said that not to worry he had a good feeling that the bank would take the hit and my money would return to me. This is false. Banks DO NOT guarantee wire transfers. It's as good as giving someone cash. So a couple days later I want to back out. My realtor calls my lender who then calls me and tells me everything will be ok and I was promised everything under the sun. It was all a lie. He knew that the money was going to get spent and he never advised me differently when the money was lost. He just kept going as business as usual and I believed him.
