To whom it may concern, Through the dates of XXXX and XXXX of XXXX we decided to sell our home in XXXX which we had previously bought through the same lender/broker, cherry creek mortgage ( XXXX XXXX ) also using same realtor ( XXXX XXXX ).
We bought our house in XXXX for the first time using FHA Loan back in XXXX due to a forclosure back in XXXX.
In XXXX we decided to sell that house bought in XXXX and buy a bigger one.
We decided to go with the same company, cherry creek mortgage, due to them knowing our history and everything worked out well the first time.
We sold our home and got " approved '' by our broker, Cherry creek mortgage and found a new home we wanted to move forward with.
Paperwork was signed, inspections were done, fees where payed.
Then, 1 week before closing, Cherry Creek mortgage said that the deal was not able to happen since there was a forclosure from 7 years ago.
Therefor we didnt qualify for the conventional Loan we had previously been " approved '' for.
We had sold our house with them already and were waiting to close on the new one so we could leave the house to the new owner.
Then one week before closing XXXX told us that we couldn't buy the house we had already signed paperwork for and done inspections on because of the forclosure which they should've had known from before since we worked with them before and they knew our situation.
We had to find a house to live in within a week ended up paying over {$20000.00} in rent and renting a home when we aimed to be owners not renters. All that money could've gone to our new home as the monthly mortgage payment.
We ended losing money and time on a situation that could've been anticipated since we had previously worked with them and they had the information needed as well.
XXXX XXXX from Cherry Creek mortgage made is lose our home and money. All of it could've been avoided. I do not even understand how we got to the end of the process if that was an issue from the beginning. It all seemed very confusing and not transparent at all.

Cherry Creek Mortgage in XXXX Colorado assured me after submitting at least XXXX pages of documents to refinance my existing loan that they would have a fast approval. The process started in XXXX of 2016 and had a lock rate of 3.5 %. My constant communication with them and their lack of response to my questions on status finally came to a close in XXXX after spending hours and hours of getting them everything they needed with their assurance it would be approved. In the mean time I had various requests from other lenders to refinance. Cherry Creek dragged me along after pulling credit and doing their due diligence one day just notified me, by email, out of the blue the loan would not close. No explanation, apology, or any reason after 4 months. I lost the opportunity to go with someone else at the same rate as the rates had jumped and now made no sense to refinance loan. I was astonished and very hurt that a company would make me jump through hoops and be so rude and abrupt. They ruined my chance of having lower payments. Is there not a moral and ethical obligation? I feel like all my information was transmitted to them and I abided by EVERYTHING they requested. Lost opportunity by me and caused by them. What recourse does a consumer have for this pathetic company other than warning all other Colorado residents? Thank You for looking into this quickly!

My wife and I began our relationship with XXXX XXXX XX/XX/2015. His company is : Cherry Creek Mortgage , Inc.
XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, # XXXX XXXX, CO XXXX XXXX # XXXXOur purpose in contacting XXXX XXXX was for the purpose of refinancing our XXXX mortgage. XXXX XXXX also found a financial institution to refinance our XXXX mortgage. Things seemed to be progressing smoothly. XXXX XXXX advised us verbally not to pay our XX/XX/XXXX mortgages as we would be closing on or about XXXX/XXXX/15. As you can see by the emails I have attached to this complaint, XXXX XXXX continued to advise us not to pay XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, or XX/XX/XXXX mortgages. And then, ultimately we would have to pay those months causing us to be late. On XXXX XXXX, my wife sent XXXX XXXX an email expressing our frustration that he does not return our phone messages and we have no idea why these refi 's have not taken place yet. My wife left XXXX voice messages on XXXX XXXX 's voice mail on Tuesday XXXX XXXX and send him the final email attached. We never received a response. My wife and I are now faced with losing our home because we now have " late '' payments on our mortgages and are not able to re-fi with another institution. XXXX XXXX is incredibly unprofessional. He does not respond to emails nor does he return phone calls. It should not take 6-7 months to do a re-fi.

On Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from the county of XXXX for a " Delinquent Property Tax Statement. '' I contacted the mortgage broker at Cherry Creek Mortgage Company that did my transaction when I closed on this home in XXXX of 2018. XXXX had my loan from the date of closing until XX/XX/XXXX when it went to XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX never paid the first half property taxes that were due on the last day of XXXX. XXXX has taken the stance that even though they didn't pay the property taxes, the current mortgage service provider, XXXX XXXX should pay it because there is plenty of funds in my escrow to do so.
The reality is I am apparently delinquent on my property taxes due to Cherry Creek Mortgage Company not paying the property taxes and outside of my contact who is a mortgage broker they do not appear to be working to assist this situation getting taken care of efficiently and effectively.

I believe 1st Reverse Mortgage ( XXXX XXXX ) is a predatory company. They contacted my uncle ( XXXX years old ) about a reverse mortgage. He signed paper work and when asked for it, he could not locate the paperwork. I contacted the company and asked for a copy of the paper work but was told they are not authorized to talk to me. I understand that because I am not on any of the paper work. I am not sure of what to do next in this situation. Is it possible to have 1st Reverse Mortgage investigated for using predatory practices?
