Hello, I want to first give a background story as to why XXXX XXXX at Cheek Law firm began harassing me in XXXX. To begin, XXXX bank says that I opened a " Credit Card '' on XXXX XXXX, XXXX and closed it on XXXX XXXX, XXXX as unpaid. I have never applied for a credit account with XXXX. I would like this taken off of my credit immediately. If you are unable remove this from my credit history, I would like supporting documentation including signatures showing I applied for credit and agreed to the terms and conditions on the account.
Now that I have explained the back story, I will get into the harassment I have been enduring for seven years. Because of this, there is a public record from the XXXX XXXX XXXX courts for a garnishment of my wages by Cheek Law Firm and XXXX for the {$1700.00}. This case should not even exist as this was a write off error from XXXX stating this was a credit card debt. I was not aware that a " default judgment '' was going on from XXXX to XXXX, as it clearly states that I have NEVER signed for a judgment or garnishment. During this time period, XXXX XXXX from Cheek Law Firm has garnished my wages for 5 years, taking more than the original " debt ''. He has repeatedly called me and sent me fake letters saying I will go to jail. There can not be a case without a valid signature from certified mail, which leads me to believe a signature may have been forged. Cheek Law firm has left me alone since XXXX when the case was closed until now. I received a letter from Cheek Law Firm saying they are reopening my closed case and now this time XXXX XXXX wants {$4000.00}, with no reason as to why they are re opening the case, or why the money that was paid has somehow tripled in " debt ''. I have reached out to Cheek Law Firm to provide documentation of my knowledge and signature that I did agree to this debt, which they can not provide.
After realizing now that my wages have been garnished for {$1700.00}, I would like Cheek Law Firm to reimburse me for the illegally garnished wages for the five years as there is no documentation and no representation. I would also like XXXX XXXX to stop stealing from me and harassing me by opening cases that have been closed for four years and asking for triple the original debt amount.

In XXXX 2010 I had a credit card that went into collections and got sold to Cheek Law offices/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I explained to them i was struggling and having a hard time even keeping a place to live. They would n't work with me even then, they proceeded with a judgment against me i was XXXX at the time so i was fresh into this and had no clue what i needed to do. I called them after i got the letter from court and asked them if i needed to appear in court as well, they told me no that i did n't need to appear so i did n't go to court. The judgment was to garnish my wages. They just now put in the order to garnish my wages more than XXXX years later. This was a credit card for XXXX dollars and they are now asking for XXXX. They want to garnish my wages for {$500.00} a month. I offered them {$1000.00} to settle or i would take that {$1000.00} and file bankruptcy chapter XXXX. They still refused to take that settlement. I also offered to pay them {$100.00} a month, they refused that as well. I can not afford {$500.00} a month this will leave me homeless and possibly unemployed. I think the way they are handling things is unethical. I have explained my situation to them and they are not at all willing to work with me. I also do not understand how a lawyer can charge me interest. I also find it convenient that after over XXXX years after the judgment when the money has racked up then they all of a sudden start to garnish my wages. If they would have garnished them right after the judgment then this would have been taken care of a long time ago. I feel they waited this long to do so because they wanted more money, which is not fair.

XXXX XXXX sued me to collect a debet and I just receveived notice today, XXXX XXXX, 2016. I have been trying to pay them for over 3 years, but they wo n't accept any payment terms accept payment in full or {$700.00} a month which I can not afford. I was paying on the account continuously until I lost my job at which time, I was paying, but below the monthly minium. They sent me to collections despite the fact I was actually making payments. When I ceased making payments due to lack of employment, they would not work with me to set up agreeable payment arrangements. They even shut off my online access so I could n't make any payments. How can I pay if you wo n't let me pay? Ridiculous. I then put the account in a debt management plan, which the ignored and still sued me. I was not made aware of this was happening. Every attempt I have made to pay they have ignored and/or said it was not enough. Seems to me something is better than nothing. Then to sue me without me being notified is disgusting. XXXX XXXX is a terrible company that is perfectly happy with ruining your character and credit. They wo n't work with you at all. Everyone warned me about getting a credit card from them.

In XXXX Cheek law of LLC Petitioned XXXX county court to revive an old debt from XXXX.
I explained to both the courts and cheek that I was on a fixed income of {$720.00}. per month yet the court granted these vultures access into my life for a debt which I had already paid for with 7 years of bad credit.
