Beginning on XXXX XXXX, I received 3 back to back messages on my office line from someone stating they were Investigator XXXX XXXX with the state locator office and I was to contact XXXX to discuss this legal matter before he came to serve me. It is in my best interest to call immediately because it will just go downhill for me. My parents called to say the same person had called them 3 times the same day and told them the same thing about the legal case against me, gave a case number and told them they had been legally notified. On XXXX XXXX my brother said he had 3 threatening messages left on his answering machine about an ongoing investigation regarding me and he was to return his call immediately to answer questions about me. On XXXX XXXX he called to say he received another message from Investigator XXXX XXXX to inform him my problems are turning to legal action and he was to contact them immediately at XXXX with case # XXXX to discuss this. He had 48 hours to return the call and he had been legally notified. On XXXX XXXX my brother said he received a message the 48 hours has passed and he left them with no choice but to proceed with having me served. On XXXX XXXX a message was left on my cell phone that this inspector will be serving me at home, work or with a family member to call XXXX immediately. He said I have until the of the day, good luck to you and hung up. On XXXX XXXX a XXXX XXXX left a message from an anonymous number and said garnishment documents have been faxed to my employer and to call immediately. On XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX called to say he had claims against me and was a matter of jurisdiction. He will be contacting my employer for verification notification. On XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX called and left 3 messages regarding complaints on my social security number ( gave the last 4 numbers ) and stated she will be starting employee verification and to call XXXX. On XXXX XXXX a friend from years ago said XXXX XXXX left 3 messages on her cell phone. Once to say she needed to call and provide asset information regarding me, once to verify she received the first message and again to say it was an important legal issue and she has been identified as being a known associate of mine. XXXX XXXX my mom called to say XXXX XXXX called her to ask about me, but she hung up. They then called later for my father, who also then hung up on them. My mother then filed a complaint with the FTC. XXXX XXXX my sister in law called concerned and stated there were 3 nasty messages left about my legal issues and she was to return a call to XXXX XXXX at XXXX. And also stated they had contacted her sister, or which I do not even know. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX called again and identified herself with the pre-legal department Warner Asset Location Service and to return her call immediately at XXXX before faxing employment and garnishment verification. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX left messages again on my office line and cell stating I must call prior to faxing verification of wages, assets and property.

I was originally contacted on XXXX/XXXX/16 at my place of employment by a XXXX XXXX claiming to be with the PreLegal Dept.with Warner Asset Services and referenced a case number of XXXX. I explained that these calls are unacceptable and not allowed by my employer and that I would call him back on my cell phone. I returned his call at XXXX ext. XXXX however ; when you call this number it does not state the name of the company, location or hours of operation and automatically prompts you to dial a extension number, which I found very odd. I was told I owed an outstanding debt to a company called XXXX over the amount of {$1800.00}. I advised XXXX XXXX that I did not owe this debt and that if this was a legit debt I would have been notified by US Mail, which I have not. He also called my daughter on XXXX/XXXX/16, claiming that I used her name as reference on this so called loan. I requested verbally that he Cease and Desist on calling me at work, on my cell phone and any family members on this debt that is not owed. They are also calling me from XXXX to make it appear that is a local call in the hopes I will pick up. I let it go to my voice mail and it is either a XXXX XXXX or XXXX XXXX using various company names of Warner Location Services, Warner Asset Location Services, Asset Location Services or Warner Assets Recovery. I have found online a Warner Asset Location Services, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX at XXXX and also found online XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX at XXXX. Today XXXX/XXXX/16 they have called my daughter, XXXX my sons, and non-family members from a number of XXXX stating that it is very important that I get in contact with XXXX XXXX over an important matter along with referencing the above case number. I was also contacted at my place of employment after stating that I was not allowed to receive these kind of calls at work. XXXX XXXX was very rude and verbally abusive and stated that I needed to pay up on this debt and threatened to submit a Verification of Employment with my employer, along with taking legal action against me. I have gone to the website of XXXX and have read all the complaints from others who are experiencing the same harassment I am. Apparently they are using illegal debt collecting practices to scare and scam people out of money that is not owed. They have previously operated under the names of XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. They are currently not accredited with the XXXX in either XXXX or XXXX. It is very disturbing and alarming that they have tracked down my family members and now harassing them as well and trying to extort money out of me. There is never a Mini Miranda used when leaving a voice mail message or when I have spoken with them on the phone. I have past experience as a Debt Collector and recognize that these approaches and practices are not within the guidelines of the Federal Trade Commission and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Warner Asset Location Services called me on XX/XX/2017 for the first time. They told me the amount I owed for a past payday loan, and demanded I pay in full amount right then. They threatened that I have one hour to pay, or she 's going home and at that point they are faxing my employer a letter of employment verification and starting the process to garnish my wages. Their communication got worse from there. I asked for time to talk to my husband and she warned again that I only had one hour to call her back and make my payment. My husband advised that I ask for a letter in the mail to verify my debt. When I asked for this they said they do not have that because they are not the actual debt collectors, but an asset location agency. They refused to tell me who owned my debt and refused to mail me documents for my debt. They did e-mail me a " Letter of demand '' stating how much I owe their company. When we asked again for a letter in the mail the manager I was speaking to stated " We already sent you the email with the amount owed, we will not be sending you anything other than that. '' They continued to tell me that I must make a payment that night or they will be starting the process to take me to court in the morning. They gave me two options after we told them we did n't have the money. Our options were a settlement of the original loan paid in full at that moment, or payments of $ XXXX monthly until we reached the amount that we owed them. They refused to take anything less than {$200.00} a month. Finally, in tears from stress and intimidation I made the payment of {$200.00}, with an agreement to make another payment in full of the remaining amount because that 's the only option they 'd actually give me. They refused every payment method other than Visa or MasterCard. They told me if I was unable to make the full payment at the end of XX/XX/XXXX to call them back and talk to them and they would work with me. When I called them back toward the end of XX/XX/XXXX, unable to make the full payment, asking if I could make another payment of {$200.00} the woman refused to accept this, telling me it was not in our original deal. I told her if she will not accept it, to remove the payment arrangement from my account and to NOT take out from my account for that following Friday. I was in distress from their harassment when I made the agreement of paying the remaining amount, and now that I told them not to make the payment they are harassing me, calling 4 times in an hour and a half. After I was of sound mind, I realized this is not a legit collection practice, even if the business is, which, I 'm unsure of, because they refused to give me any information, and I could not find any information on their company on any business, collections, or XXXX site. Only other complaints.

A XXXX XXXX , from ASSET LOCATION SERVICES, contacted ( called ) my employer on Friday XXXX / XXXX / XXXX around XXXX CST, regarding a debt that I believed to be satisfied. She began to give personal information about this debt to my co-worker, who then transferred the call to me. I advised XXXX XXXX , NOT TO CONTACT ME OR MY EMPLOYER AGAIN. I told her she was welcome to send me something in writing. I again advised her NOT TO CONTACT MY JOB. She then Hung up. On Tuesday XXXX / XXXX / XXXX about XXXX CST XXXX XXXX again contacted ( called ) my plac e of employment and again advised my co-worker that she was calling me regarding " me committing fraud ''. XXXX XXXX then immediately called back and spoke with my direct manager and again advised her that she was calling in regards to ME committing a fraudulent act against a company. XXXX XXXX continues to call when asked to cease all collection attempts to my work number and he has crossed the line, threatening legal action, imprisonment, wage garnishment, asset collection, and credit reporting against me. He has also after speaking with me today, at my work as I told him I could not talk he called back I had my boss in the office and it is an unidentified number I assumed for work, when I answered he began the threats above and when I asked the amount he could n't give me a set amount I told him I contacted the owner of debt who said they do not have further information regarding the debt and will not provide it any further. He again called again, then when I again asked him for the XXXX time not to call my office or work, he called today, then when I told him I would rather it go to collections where I can deal with a claim in writing instead of giving them my money over the phone, he said so you are refusing to cooperate I said yes, he said we will contact our lawyers and it will cost you more, then he proceeded shortly after this to contact my mother at her place of employment, my father and my sister all ina matter of 1 hour with him stating he is a location service attempting to find me and collect a debt from me or they could settle it for me. this is crazy ... illegal and wrong to even continue this I can lose my job and how can he say I owe and contact family members who were never on my loan and give them false information that he is a location service? his contact number is XXXX x XXXX and it states they are an assets management service.

On XXXX, I received a call from XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XXXX. They stated that I owe a debt with XXXX, which I did not deny. The initial loan was for XXXX and they asked me to make them an offer. I was initially told that I could make a monthly payment arrangement. I told them I could pay them XXXX by XXXX XXXX to resolve the debt. This was not acceptable so he connected me with a Supervisor ( can not recall her name ). We went back and forth with her threatening me with wage garnishment unless I pay XXXX by the end of the month. I told her that XXXX has not even filed papers to sue me and there has been no judgment filed against me ; I knew that was false. She got disgusted and told me to hold on. I was at work and could not hang on and hung up. Then I got a call ( same day ) from XXXX XXXX saying he was another Supervisor and to please call back before they send over the garnishment to my employer. On XXXX, XXXX called again and I reiterated what I was willing to pay. He immediately put me on with XXXX who said that my offer was too low and told me I had to pay at least half the debt of XXXX by the end of the month. I told them to send the judgment and I was done and to not call me any more. They called me 4 more times in a row, twice from a XXXX number and twice from a private number. This debtor has never sent me a letter in the mail or contacted me before yesterday.

This debt collector called Warner Asset locations called my previous place of employment and got the number to my new place of employment. The lied/misrepresented themselves and said they were calling to verify employment then asked to speak to me. When i talked to them the lady called herself XXXX XXXX, did not identify herself or the company. She wanted to verify my address and wanted my debit card to make a payment on a payday loan. I said i will not do it at this time because i am at work. I also told her she can not call me at work. She said well you are not answering your other phone. She threatened to serve me papers at my place of employment. She gave me her number to call her back at XXXX to call her the next day. Once i left work i called her again to reiterate that i do not want her calling my work anymore and also i was never given the opportunity to dispute the debt and that In XXXX payday loans are illegal. She said i lived in XXXX at the time of the loan. I said that is false and that I lived in XXXX my whole life and i have never been to XXXX. The loan company made up false XXXX address. I was never given notice of the right to refuse. The also illegally obtained information about my new place of employment by lying to my previous place of employment.

I got a call from my father today. He has the same name as I do. I am a XXXX. He received harassing call from a company called Warner Asset XXXX. The agent, XXXX XXXX, shared sensitive information with my father about me and an alleged debt of mine that they ( she ) was trying to convince my father was his debt. XXXX XXXX asked my father to confirm his birthday and SS #. He would not give the information. When XXXX XXXX asked my father to confirm the birthday and ss # they have on file, he noticed that the birthday was mine. Subsequently, XXXX XXXX called my father 's supervisor and, according to him, divulged a lot of false personal information about him, along with some disparaging remarks about dishonesty. I have also received a few messages from this company that I have not returned due to the ominous and threatening nature of the message -- use of words like " case '', " judgement '' and more. I have no idea what this company is or what they might be trying to pull off here. I have student loans but they are all consolidated. I have also done some online research about Warner Asset Management. They do appear to have a problem with lots of other similar complaints. Their phone number is XXXX.

XX/XX/XXXX I have received phone calls at work and on my mobile phone regarding a debt that is owed by alleged law firm. I have been harassed repeatedly. They have threatened legal action, and to serve me papers at my place of employment. Also, I have been left messages saying that they have contact the HR department as well. The debt is allegedly for {$100.00}. From my understanding, if a company has written off a debt and sold the debt to a third party, the individual is no longer responsible for the debt. According to the person who called, XXXX, this is from a debt that occurred in XX/XX/XXXX. The action I want taken is for them to stop calling my place of employment threatening to fax sensitive information. I have never received any correspondence in the mail or via email. I would rather see something in writing before giving sensitive information to someone over the phone. The calls keep coming from a place called Warner Location Services, Warner Asset Services, Warner XXXX Services. They are from a XXXX XXXX. The number that he calls from is a XXXX, Tx number XXXX, but gives a call back number of XXXX. When I did a reverse number lookup for the XXXX number that number was registered to a female here in the city of XXXX, Tx. I never answer the calls after finding out the numbers were questionable. They say there has been a complaint filed in their office but never say what the complaint is. Oddly enough the only office listed for any of these companies is in XXXX XXXX XXXX. on XXXX within a span of 10-20 minutes there were a total of XXXX phone callsXXXX on the home phone and XXXX on the cell phone. XXXX XXXX has been told several times to quit calling and he continues to call. XXXX of the reports on this company says they just bought out XXXX XXXX which is a pay day loan place. I have never done business with this place.

I had already spoken with someone there about making payments, but they still call my family members and threaten to call my work. Also, I requested they mail me verification of the account and they refused. A company that has presented itself as Warner Asset location services ( claims processing department ) has called me on multiple occasions over the last few months because they are trying to get in contact with a former co-worker of mine. They have indicated the former co-worker put me down as a reference back in XXXX. I have told them I do n't know what this is about. That him an I do n't speak. I did not give permission to be added as reference and to please stop calling me. They refuse and have continued to aggressively contact me from multiple numbers. I keep receiving several calls at my place of employment from a man named XXXX XXXX who claims to work for a Warner Location Services. I asked him to not call my employer, if this is a legal matter to please send me something in writing or by mail. He refuses and has been constantly leaving messages on my work voicemail stating I better call him by a certain time that day or legal action will be taken against me. Also states that if I do n't call him that an employment verification will be faxed to my employer. Demands that I call him back at XXXX ext. XXXX, to resolve this legal matter. When I called that number, there 's a recording that says, thank you for calling, if you know your parties extension please dial it now or press XXXX and someone will be with you. Warner Asset Location Services called my mother, my friend, and my sister with regards to a debt I owe them on XXXX XXXX , XXXX . I just received another call from my sister advising they called her again as well as called her husband and XXXX daughter on XXXX XXXX , XXXX . The second call being after I spoke with them and set up a payment arrangement. I have also not received a written notice to what the debt was nor was I sent anything regarding the payment arrangement. I looked up the law and it states they are not allowed to disclose to another person the reason for the call and on both instances they advised my sister, they were attempting to collect a debt. They also left a message on her phone looking for myself as well as my mothers phone.

I originally took out a loan from XXXX. This loan was sold to XXXX who then moved it to Warren Asset Locations. The company 's phone number is XXXX. I sent a cease and desist letter on XXXX, 2017 both by fax and email. I spoke to a women by the name of XXXX on XXXX/2017 that confirmed they had received this letter. On XXXX,2017 and XXXX,2017 I was sent emails. Today on XXXX they called me at work 3 times with in 5 minutes. When someone would answer the phone they would hang up. I have pictures on my phone of the caller ID. Before the letter was even sent I had asked them not to contact me at work or any other 3rd parties. It appears that this company does not follow the laws. This is the second step that I am taking to stop the harassment. My 3rd step will be a law suit.

Was recenty contacted by several family members stating that they were contacted by XXXX XXXX @ XXXX Case # XXXX. That is fine to locate me but it was disclosed that they were trying to collect a debt, and gave my banking information. To another family member they represented themselves as attorneys, and that they needed a statement for a pending judgement case. To my understanding both of these are violations of the FDCPA, and I would like to know what can be done about it. I am not saying the debt is not mine, but I am not sure if a law has been broken here, I need to know what recourse I have in protecting myself. I mean if I give them my payment information whose to say they do not take more than I owe if they are willing to break the law to try and contact me.

Warner Asset Location Services have called numerous and countless times to people I am associated with and with people I do n't even know but know a relative of mine. They are claiming that its a fraud claim for a loan. This company has been harassing me for the past three months. They call about three times a day, not to just my phone number but to my cousins, sister, brother, even to my uncle 's friend that I have never met. They contacted my Uncle 's friend to get my Uncle 's phone number to get my phone nu mber. XXXX never once has this company sent me a letter of collecting a debt etc! XXXX They wont even tell me the name of their " client '' that 's supposedly trying to collect this fraudulent debt i supposedly owed.

I keep getting calls from XXXX XXXX regarding asset location. They asked to confirm the last XXXX of my social security and DOB. I told them that info did not match me ( it does not ). They became abusive and accused me of lying. They then call my place of business and talked to my supervisor, telling her I was a liar. I am not. They have called me at home, on my cell and at work numerous times and just wish them to stop. I have told them repeatedly that they have the wrong guy but they always become abusive and I just hang up. This should not interfere with my work, let alone my private life. The person they are looking for, if the ss # and dob they have is correct, is not me.

A company identifying themselves as XXXX XXXX XXXX has been contacting my family members, including the cell phone of my XXXX year old daughter, either speaking to them in person or leaving messages, sometimes as many as XXXX a day to locate me regarding a 'bank issue '. They have provided my family members an account number and told them they will be filing proceedings against me with XXXX XXXX XXXX. The phone number they provide is XXXX. When calling this number back you are sent straight to a recording telling you to enter an extension number with no identifying information and then if you hold there is a message telling you just that you reached the extension number XXXX.

First of they call back to back numerous times. Finally I said let 's break of in payment and send it for me to go over and sign. Then I emailed and said dates are not right. This company has given out my social security number to a third party and also on my voicemail. They have also left voicemail messages with my car information, vin number, and license plate number. To a third party. They have calling myself and my family saying they will repo my car and call my car leasing agency and tell them to repo my car. They calling for the telephone number XXXX. The company is called Warner Asset Location Services. They claim their location is in XXXX but they are location somewhere in the XXXX area.

Contacted XX/XX/XXXX by number suggesting they 're taking pre-legal action. Shortly thereafter, significant other received phone call, requesting employment verification on my behalf. Contacted again XX/XX/XXXX by number suggesting pre-legal action again. An hour later, significant other 's father ( who lives out of state and we have n't contacted in nearly a year ) receives phone call requesting employment verification. Phone number was called repeatedly at their behest, only to receive no answer.

On XXXX XXXX, 2015 XXXX XXXX from Warner Asset Location Services started calling my home number, my parents home and my husbands phone. He is looking for XXXX XXXX and he asked us to relay a message. I asked him on XXXX XXXX, 2015 to stop calling my number harassing me about someone else 's debt because I do n't relay messages. He called again on XXXX XXXX, 2015 and left another message about the same person 's debt. It is pure harassment at this point.

My mother was called by a collection agency that is trying to contact me. She was told that if I did not get back to them that day, a warrant would be issued for my arrest. Warner Asset Location Services at XXXX NY XXXX is calling my place of employment over and over re a debt they say I owe XXXX XXXX.
