I was receiving daily phone calls from Check City regarding setting up a repayment plan on a payday loan that I was not able to repay when it was due. They pressured me to promise to pay more than I could afford and I told them this, but they continued to use high -pressure tactics to make me agree with them which I would end up doing in order to get off the phone. XXXX agent even starting yelling to her co-workers " she 's lying, she is not going to pay '' while using these colelction techniques.
Then they would call me every day afrerwords even though we had come to an agreement and we would have the same pressure conversations causing me emotional stress. If I did not answer my cell phone they would repeatedly call my job, EVEN AFTER I SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM I HAD GOTTEN IN TROUBLE WITH THE HEAD OF SECURITY, and they would make the receptionist give me a hand written note.
In addition to this, they repeatedly called my boss and left him messages regarding the debt and he spoke to me about it as they were bothering him at work as well. This caused a strain on my work environment and additional stress to me personally.
They also called my mom repeatedly as well as my long-time friend regarding the debt.
The interest rates they charge and the amounts they loan put you in a cycle where you are unable to pay them back, and they will not allow you to make reasonable payments. I am responsible for agreeing to the " quick money loan '', but was not prepared for the horrible experience that i was getting myself into. Check City, however, is perfectly aware what they do to people who are facing having their water shut or electricity shut off with a child in the house and not only do they prey upon them, they proceed to harass and belittle them and make sure your job, family, and friends are aware of your personal financial situation as well.
Shame on them. Perhaps if they would lower their interest rates to 100 % instead of 400 % - 500 % they would get paid back more often and still make XXXX times the interest a credit card company makes.

I took a loan out for {$1200.00} from Check City at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NV XXXX ( ( XXXX ) XXXX ) in XXXX of XXXX. I made 3 or 4 payments of approximately {$320.00} each according to the schedule set forth in the loan before losing my job and being forced to move to FL to live with my parents. I am on XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and without income from work only make a little over $ XXXX. When I called to speak with someone at Check City in XXXX to make the last payment, I informed them that I lost my income and they told me that the payment I was making at that time would cover the rest of what I owed them. I verbally authorized them to take that payment out of my account. Now, approximately 5 months later, they just decided to take {$830.00} out of my account without my authorization and refuse to reverse the charge. They claim that the agreement I signed when I got the loan included a clause that they could just take any amount out of my account they wanted whenever they wanted to, but they refuse to give me a copy of that agreement so that I ca verify that claim, and I don't believe it had any such clause. I have asked my bank to put a " stop payment '' on the charge and any further charges from them, and will be disputing the charge if/when it processes. I spoke with the branch manager at the location where I got the loan originally, as well as an individual at the company 's collections department, and neither of them were willing to reverse the charge or provide me with a copy of the terms of the loan.

The attorney XXXX XXXX XXXX on behalf of Check City Partnerships LLC doing business as Check City in Nevada did not provide me with the requested documents of debt validation or debt verification they told be I took out a loan and did not provide any signatures when requested on the loan documents. they only showed me someones bank account which was a breach because the account was not my bank account so they willfully gave me someone else financial information which I discard. I have not received any information and find out I have been sued by the company and the scrupulous company and attorney. I have also filed a compliant with the http : //ag.state.nv.us/ of the business practices and will file the issue with the XXXX and the FTC as well XXXX

I took out a loan for {$50.00} from Check City in XXXX XXXX, NV ( on XXXX & XXXX ) and was suppose to pay it back the week after I took out the loan. But im currently unemployed with no income so Im not able to make the payment just yet. They repeatedly call me every week and leave voicemail from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I also receive phone calls from blocked numbers and when I answer it says " Thanks for calling us back, I 'll transfer you over to one of our debt collectors, '' then a representative from Check City answers.

I went to get a check loan from Check City/XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and was declined through XXXX XXXX and outstanding check loans through other check loans sources but as of XX/XX/XXXX XXXX sent a credit freeze approval confirmation to me and as of XX/XX/XXXX those old check loans mistakenly done on my part were discharged through my bkXXXX ; that are still reporting to the pulic as of this day although I have requested to not have them reported to all three credit bureaus.

I wanted to make an additional payment toward my loan to reduce the already high interest in the amount of XXXX dollars and was told by XXXX that I could not make any additional payments below a certain amount on the loan. Check city then took my payment and lowered my first payment and when I looked at the invoice the reciept shows I only paid XXXX toward fees when it should have gone toward principle because it was an additional payment.

My employer received a so called summons on paper work that was not sealed in a private envelope to keep my personal information private from other employees, this was Thursday XXXX/XXXX/15, then my pay check dated XXXX/XXXX/15 was garnished, stating voluntary deduction on my stub, I was never advised of anything, never received any type of judgement or court order. the payday loan company was Check City.

Check city called from a restricted number, dod not leave a message, and immediately called a family member asking for my contact information. I have already been in contact with them weekly, they have my number and address and have spoken to me recently. Why be deceptive, calling from a blocked number, then to call a family member when they have my correct and current info?

Payday loa lenders trap people with high interest rates and will not work out anyways to help the consumer. They would rather have the consumer over draft and be unable to pay loans. I would like to revoke authorization to my account because I have had fraud to my bank account.
