Please see the attached document giving my current balance on my account. It very clearly states that my CURRENT balance is {$7000.00}. I am writing because no one wants to answer or return my phone calls. Please see the time line below. XX/XX/2022 I called castle credit to get a payoff letter for my refinance. I spoke with XXXX XXXX. I mentioned I had received an offer and he promptly told me that the flyer attached labeled Castle Credit was a promotional offer. And to receive debt relief that was the amount I had to pay. Once paid they would match it and my account would be paid in full. I expressed concern based on the fact that my flyer clearly states My CURRENT balance. Not promotional offer payoff. He then informed me that he recommend I beg family and friends for the funds or take out a loan because it would save me money. That the payoff would be XXXX??.??. If a third party paid the debt there would be late fees and other charges that would be waived if I paid them directly. I don't remember the exact amount but clearly remember the {$7900.00} part because i was so confused. At which point I requested a pay off letter. He told me my payoff if it was from a 3rd party would be over {$15000.00}. Again I don't recall the exact amount. I was beyond frustrated. XXXX XXXX kept mentioning the equity in my home and how I should sign a release so Castle Credit could talk to the mortgage company directly. When i adamantly refused he was not very nice and actually rude. XXXX XXXX told me that if I didnt sign a release that my refinance would be delayed because the release would have to be signed and processed. I later that day I received a pay off letter with the amount of {$16000.00}. attached as Castle Credit Payoff letter. 1st off why does it matter who pays off the balance. If my mortgage company pays they are using my money. Why does that matter? It makes me think there is some illegal accounting going on. Maybe the taxes paid on income from people aren't reported accurately to the IRS and Castle Credit is forced to claim the whole amount, the amount when paid by a mortgage company so the amount is much larger to cover the taxes? This Money is my money I will pay interest on for 30 years. The very fact that there is discrepancy in my current balance is ridiculous. I called back to speak with a manager. The customer service representative was very pleasant and left a message for the supervisor letting them know that XXXX XXXX was less than customer service oriented. I never received a return call. I called and requested XXXX XXXX 's supervisor and once again was transferred to XXXX XXXX. I told him I received a non promotional letter ( attached labeled Castle Credit Non Promotional ) and that it stated that my CURRENT BALANCE WAS {$7000.00}. He tried to tell me that the fine print at the bottom stating " discounted percentage of the ending balance '' was the wording giving me a promotional offer. I told him this is not a promotional offer and I need to speak to his manager. He said he would transfer me and promptly left me on hold for 10 minutes. I had to get to work and hung up. I called back requesting to speak with XXXX XXXX XXXX supervisor and was once again transferred to XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX said are you calling today to take advantage of our promotional offer and pay off your account in full for the amount of {$3500.00} ( approx ) I don't recall the exact amount he quoted but the {$3500.00} I am sure of. I requested to speak to XXXX XXXX XXXX supervisor XXXX. Explained XXXX XXXX was less than professional and explained the situation. As debtor he is not allowed to lie to me. Sending a letter as well as a promotional offer stating my CURRENT Balance is {$7000.00} and then when asked to provide a payoff letter the amount is over {$16000.00} is lying. He tried to tell me the same thing that XXXX XXXX did regarding the promotional offer. However, I promptly told him that XXXX XXXX had just offered to accept payment of roughly {$3500.00} as payment in full for my account. I called back and was successfully transfered by XXXX XXXX to his supervisor. I explained XXXX XXXX was less than professional and explained the situation. As debtor he is not allowed to lie to me. Sending a letter as well as a promotional offer stating my CURRENT Balance is {$7000.00} and then when asked to provide a payoff letter the amount is over {$16000.00} is lying. I filed a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General. regarding their deceiving practices. He said he was not authorized to send out the payoff letter i requested and his manager was out until Tuesday and she would call me back. Tuesday, XX/XX/2022 I did not receive a call back. I called and was supposed to be transferred to XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX supervisor and was transferred to XXXX XXXX. He asked how he could help me. I said XXXX XXXX this is XXXX XXXX you know what I need. He said no today is a new day and I don't know what you need. He began again about the promotional offer I asked to just be transferred to his supervisor and was sent to XXXXXXXX XXXX Voicemail. I called back requesting a supervisor and not XXXX XXXX and the customer service representative was going to transfer me to XXXX XXXX. She had some issues with the transfer and i was sent to XXXXXXXX XXXX voice mail again. I left a message. I called back requesting to speak with XXXX XXXX I was told that she was not available and I was going to be transferred to XXXX XXXX. She picked up asked for a minute to review my notes. Kept checking back in and then i was transferred at least 3 times ( hold music was heard ) that I could tell with no communication and ended up at XXXX XXXX voice mail again. I left a message. requested additional assistance was transferred around and ended up leaving anther voicemail for XXXX. I is now XXXX the following day and I have yet to receive any communication regarding my situation. I need a payoff letter reflecting my Current account balance of {$7000.00}. This is reflected as current balance in at least 3 documents received unsolicited from Castle Credit. The {$7000.00} is more than your company would receive if I took advantage of your promotional offer agreeing to match my payment dollar for dollar. I spoke with the refinance company and taking a loan out to take advantage of matching funds dollar for dollar would interfere with my refinance. Pulling a credit report would damage my credit and the refi would not go through. So I see the pay off letter as a Castle Credit receiving double of what they could receive to pay this account. The difficulty I have had with this company if extreme and the deception is obvious. I need the appropriate letter to be received from Castle Credit ASAP. My funds will come directly from my mortgage company to pay MY CURRENT BALANCE {$7000.00} and I will be happy to pay the {$12.00} wiring fee as well. Phone XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

I purchased a water softener filter in 2015 for {$8700.00} from a door salesman from CASTLE CREDIT. They guaranteed that this filter was self cleaning and the only time this filter would leak would be when it cleaned itself. I began to notice that my septic tank was filling every month, to the point where I had to drain the cesspool every 2-3 months which cost me {$500.00} everytime. I called the company who did send their in-house plumbers various times ( which I also paid out of pocket {$150.00} for every visit ), these plumbers assured me nothing to worry about. Well, finally, the cesspool collapsed. I then sought out several licensed plumbers unrelated to the company and they all immediately came to the same conclusion... The filter was so badly designed and it was designed to leak water everyday, a minimum of 50 gallons per day to be exact..that was only the kitchen sink, not accounting for the water leakage the rest of the sinks contributed! So for years, this system was leaking a minimum of 50 gallons of water per day into my cesspool until it finally collapsed. I had to pay plumbers to immediately disconnect the filters ( something the company could have done long ago had they just been honest about the faulty system )! So this company sold me a product that they said did not leak at all, except when self cleaning, but really it was leaking from the central pipes every day, overflowing my cesspool and finally it collapsed. Overall, over the years I spent over {$12000.00} in draining the cesspools and in plumber visits and when the cesspool collapsed I received quotes starting at {$10000.00} to repair. I even had to hire a plumber to completely remove the water filtration system. I have since tried to call this company almost daily for a resolution and even to come pick up the faulty equipment and no response. It was only when I stopped paying the loan on this, that they responded. Their response was completely cold, even as far as insulting me, all they want is payment. On top of this they placed a lien on my home for the {$2600.00} balance. I had to make a decision whether to pay for my cesspool repair ( which I am still trying to ) or to keep paying for this faulty equipment. If you see my credit, I have never had any late payments. I am an honorable family man that makes an honest living, I am not rich by any means. This company will not give me any options and the pitiful settlement they did offer ( to remove {$400.00} from the balance ) they said they can not put anything in writing, only after I make one lump sum payment will they send the town a letter to lift a lien on my home. The reason I did not do this or take the offer is because online there are many people that say they are scammers... you will make a payment and there will be no resolution, even as far as people who have paid off the loan in full claiming that this company has placed liens on their properties! I just can not afford to make a payment and lose the little savings that remains without anything in writing. The money I need to fix my cesspool is in my home, but I can not refinance due to this issue. I am asking you to please help me in whatever way you can. I have attached picture evidence of all I have written. This company sold me a product that was not what I was sold, what should have cost me {$8700.00} has now cost me {$21000.00} to date, they have wiped me out of my savings and now I need your help. Please, I am pleading with you.

XX/XX/XXXX {$23000.00} Company : Castle Credit I called the company to settle a loan for a water treatment that was installed on my home in XX/XX/XXXX. Castle credit was the creditor financing the water system. I signed The agreement not knowing what I was getting into with castle credit and their harassment tactics to collect a debt. In XX/XX/XXXX I lost my job and got behind on the payments, and they started calling my dad, sister which they never had permission to call them, breaking the privacy law first of all. I attempted to make payments to get caught up, and they still kept calling my family and me. I finally submitted a letter through Castle Credit contact us portal on the website to stop the calling and only contact me through email. They 100 % ignored the request. The contact portal is a joke, and they do not respond not even with an autoresponder saying they received my e-mail. I was getting upset I was trying to communicate Castle Credit but no luck. I finally called them to get this thing resolved for a payoff or lower interest rate and stop the calling of my family after Castle Credit ignored my written request, which is a {$5000.00} fine by law. At this point in the phone call, they offered me a {$230000.00} payoff within a 15 day period. At the time, I had no means to pay them if I could not afford the regular payments, what made them think I could do {$2300.00}? So at this time, I called a bank to do a debt considalted loan to pay off all of my debt. I was approved, and when I called castle credit back to let them know I would be settling the debt for {$23000.00}, they told me the offer was off the table. In the meantime, when I found out there would be money, I contacted them through email and never heard anything back. Again their lack of communication makes it challenging to make anything happen. I was in conversation with Castle Credit within 30 days, but they don't respond. So I called Castle Credit and told them that my lender would be sending the check for the agreed payoff. They told me the offer was no longer available because it was over 30 days. I then stated I was trying to get a hold of Castle Credit through email within that period. The debt collector XXXX XXXX was saying no to the offer and explaining to me that those emails have no importance. I was confused and upset. I hung up and called customer service at Castle Credit for someone higher up. XXXX called me back and told me not ever to call customer service again. That is a threat, and I explained to XXXX that the money would be there this month on the XX/XX/XXXX and he offered me {$500.00} off the total bill. At this point, I left the conversation unresolved. In my eyes, this company has broken so many laws I want this-this thing dismissed and gone. They have made {$4000.00} in interest plus a {$25.00} annual fee that I don't even see in my paperwork. Castle Credit put a ucc-1 lein on my house without giving me proper notice in the mail that would be doing so. Again another law broken. I still have my other loan coming through on the XX/XX/XXXX to pay my debts. Castle Credit offered me an offer that I could do, and when I tried to get a hold of them, they don't reply. I'm not at fault here fars working this out. I'm in a hurry to get this resolved as my loan is going through next week, and I want that lien removed right away. This was total harassment from Castle Credit.

I acquired a service for my home in XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ). The work order form noted what service we received and that it would be {$7900.00}. I was informed that the loan would be facilitated through the Castle Credit Finance company who would send a letter that would go into more detail of what the loan entailed, the payment process, account number, etc. In XXXX, I called the company, inquiring on my account since I never received a packet, any letter, or email regarding my loan. And given that the work order noted my first payment was in XXXX months, I wanted to check. Discussing with a representative named XXXX, from XXXXastle Credit, I learned what my account number was and that they had written my XXXX # incorrectly. I was assured that I would receive the packet. I never did, nor an email. In addition, and most importantly, XXXX assured me that the payment was not due until XX/XX/XXXX. I was dubious and asked for clarification, particularly if it meant " no interest being accrued. '' She confirmed that XX/XX/XXXX was due date and no interest would be charged. I received a letter on XX/XX/XXXX notifying of my new balance ( {$8100.00} ) and was bewildered but also annoyed. Why is it going up if I was informed, by a member of the company, that no interest would be accrued until after the due date passes? I wasn't pass due and I have had no fees. Since I never got a welcome letter, I was not informed in writing how the interest was determined. Their online account bears none of that information. No documents or terms and conditions. Castle Credit prefers complaints to be written in writing. After no response for 2 days and noticing that my balance is going up, I called the company ( XX/XX/XXXX around XXXX ). I spoke with XXXX and expressed my frustrations. I felt patronized as he informed me of " how loans work '', even though I had emphasized that a member of their company misinformed me and that the company failed to be transparent about their process. He said he can't do anything, I have to just pay the monthly. Further demonstrating to me that he isn't listening to me-I can pay the entire balance but waited with the impression that it was not due until XX/XX/XXXX. This company needs to be held accountable-particularly with being sure that there workers are not misinforming clients with information that can have financial repercussions ( but of course it benefits the company ) and also with clearly providing documentation to clients ( whether it is online or through the mail ). As I mentioned, I only ever received a work order and XXXX summary of my account which I read and noted how interest is accrued. But this letter came in XXXX and I had an account with the company since XXXX.

I received a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX and Castle Credit, letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, stating this is a " Second Notice of Fraud Claim ''. I have never received any letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX nor Castle Credit regarding this fraud claim before today. This is the only letter I have ever received. I have even emailed them, as they requested by phone, and I have not received any response by email either. Neither Castle Credit nor XXXX XXXX XXXX has mailed me before this letter which claims they need proof of my current residence and a complete police report. I have contacted the police and they guided me to report the Identity Theft to the Federal Trade Commission, which I did originally on XX/XX/XXXX but had to file another Identity Theft report on XX/XX/XXXX due to other fraudulent accounts listed on my credit reports. I have also mailed Castle Credit and XXXX XXXX XXXX several letters which included my FTC Identity Theft Report, Drivers license and notarized identity affidavit, all by Certified Mail and have proof of delivery of the mail I sent. I will not continue mailing or sending my personal information to Castle Credit and XXXX XXXX XXXX and this will be my last contact with them. I am attaching copy of the only letter I ever received from Castle Credit and XXXX XXXX XXXX and also a copy of the original invoice/receipt, which i obtained from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX based out of XXXX XXXX and whom told me by phone that they do not have my name in their records and that a XXXX XXXX was the one that was billed for the total amount of {$15000.00}. I was not given any other information and I was emailed this invoice/receipt today on XX/XX/XXXX. Castle Credit and/or XXXX XXXX XXXX have put a lien on my property but never had any business with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, Castle Credit XXXX XXXX XXXX Finance or a XXXX XXXX XXXX I want this Lien removed ASAP, as I will sue for my time used in this investigation I had to do myself and which I have requested Castle Credit XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to do but still have not done so. Also, the letter I received from XXXX XXXX XXXX has a contract with an XXXX XXXX, who I also have never had any business with and the copy of that contract has my name but not my phone number nor email address and I definitely have never signed. I will also email XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Castle Credit a copy of this XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX original invoice and let this serve as proof that I never had any service done with XXXX nor Castle Credit nor XXXX XXXX XXXX.

In XX/XX/XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX i purchased a rainbow vaccum cleaner and was financed through XXXX XXXX. I was approved for a 3 month deferment on payments and signed the contract in my home on XX/XX/XXXX a payment to XXXX credit was withdrawn from my account. When i contacted the company and informed them of this they stated that they had received a verbal authorization for the terms of the contract from my husband approving the first payment. When i requested proof of this phone recording i was denied. I was also denied when i requested a refund of the funds they took from my account. I requested that the vaccum be picked up from my home. If the terms of the contract i agreed to would not be followed i did not wish to keep the item. I was told okay by one of their representatives and the call was ended. A month later i began receiving harassing phone calls from someone identifying themselves only as a representative of the department of collections. Only after repeated pressuring was i able to find out they were calling from castle credit. I was threatened with lawsuits and wage garnishments if i did not pay on the vacuum i informed the representative that i had spoken to someone else previously and requested the vacuum be picked up and returned i was informed that could not be done and i would have to pay or risk legal consequences and a negative mark on my credit report. I offered to return the vacuum at my own cost. I was again denied. I had to pay for a stop payment on my bank account as they told me they would continue to attempt to withdraw payments. I received multiple letters in the mail threatening me with legal action if i failed to pay. I would come home to messages on my answering machine even though i repeatedly requested they not contact me. Today after they have written the debt off on my credit report I received a call from them and they requested i verify my information with the last four of my social and my address i refused to give out this information and terminated the call. A minute later they called back again. Then they contacted my husbands employer and informed his employer they were calling in reference to the debt. I know they are allowed to contact people requesting information to reach us but they are not allowed to tell them its regarding a debt. I have had multiple friends inform me they were contacted and had messages left on their phone that castle credit was attempting to reach me regarding a debt.

The supposed Company is Castle Credit that I did have a loan with almost 9/10 years ago. I have been getting repeated phone calls from different numbers that when I searched these numbers, do not even link to Castle Credit. When I have called these numbers, there isn't even a proper vmail. I feel that this is someone that has gained my identity information trying to get me to pay something that has been charged off years ago. They use obscene language with me, threatening tactics & I have repeatedly told them to stop calling me because of this said debt being again, years ago. I received a generic type letter in the mail that looks like it was drawn up from someone at their home with weird numbers like XXXX which again, doesnt even belong to Castle Credit & when I DID call Castle Credit directly, they also said that they arent the ones calling me that this debt they have classified it as charged off. My Account number XXXX for {$780.00} This account was opened by my now, exwife back in XXXX or XXXX, which since I was in the Military and on assignment, I wasnt even there to sign my own name for this loan for a vacuum cleaner but of course I know that I was married at the time so it becomes my debt but she had put it in my name not hers which she should of done and the company shouldnt of accepted the info from her if i wasnt there to begin with. They also included a number in the letter that I received that is a different form of type than the rest of the letter XXXX which Castle Credit does have a XXXX main number but again when I contacted then, they know no such number. There are other numbers with the area code XXXX but there are just too many to list. Castle Credit also stated that they have not sold my account to any collection agency. The letter that I received is marked from Castle Credit not a collection agency. I want these calls to STOP! Especially not knowing who is contacting me & they dont even want me to pay Castle Credit, they are asking me to give them my card numbers which I KNOW is not right!

On or about XXXX XXXX, XXXX we learned that Castle Credit had placed a lien on our property in XXXX. On or about XXXX XXXX we began contacting Castle Credit by telephone. During the initial call on XXXX XXXX and in several calls since then, we have explained to various representatives at Castle that we are in the process of selling our home and would like to get this matter resolved quickly so that we may close on our home by XXXX XXXX. In the very first conversation with Castle, we were told that Castle no longer owned the debt associated with the lien and because they no longer owned the debt they could not provide us with any information regarding the debt, including the balance. In each subsequent conversation with Castle, we have asked Castle to either release the lien as, per their own admission, they no longer own the debt associated with the lien or provide us with the amount of the debt we allegedly owe ( see call log attached ). While we have been repeatedly told by Castle that they no longer own the debt, Castle has continuously refused to release the lien with most recent conversation ending when the Castle supervisor abruptly hung up on us. At the same time, Castle has also refused to provide us with any information of the alleged debt, most particularly the debt amount. We simply can not be held hostage by Castle. This action or blatant inaction by Castle has the potential to prevent us from completing the sale of our house and cause us great emotional and financial distress. We have had no choice but to explore our various options of recourse. We have contacted counsel and have been advised we can file a Quiet Title claim and seek recovery of our attorney 's fees. We were also advised to file this complaint Consumer Finance Protection Bureau as well as the North Carolina Department of Justice Consumer Protection Division and the Better Business Bureau.

I filed Ch XXXX bankruptcy and was discharged with no distributions in XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX had a XXXX lien for a water softener and was included in the bankruptcy. Castle Credit was listed and notified but the continued with their automatic payments. We did not want the water softener and attempted to surrender it. In late XXXX XXXX from Castle Credit told me that I could not surrender it. They stated they were a loan company with a lien against my house and they had to be paid or I would lose my home. They refused to just take back their collateral. I was very ignorant since I filed my bankruptcy pro per and I did n't know there was a lien so I did n't do anything or investigate it. I believed they were right. They represented that like the house payment if I wanted to keep my house I had to pay off their bill. I have since learned it is not true and I do not want the water softener but they refuse to pick up the collateral and remove the lien against my house even though they were discharged in my bankruptcy. They were calling me 3 or 4 times a day at work and harassing me. I do not want the water softener. They should come pick up the collateral of the debt I discharged in Bankruptcy. They claim that I am trying to sell my house so they are refusing to cooperate and are purposely interfering with my escrow where I am trying to refinance but this lien is causing me problems. They are trying to get paid by not complying with the law. I sent them a letter telling them to stop calling me as I had to work but even today they keep blowing up my phone threatening me. They keep telling me they wo n't do anything because I am selling my house. I am not.

XXXX XXXX has been difficult to work with from the beginning. My girlfriend was the primary person on the application and she tried returning the product less than 5 days of having it. She called the salesmen and the company in XXXX and they told her too bad she had to keep the product even though the loan was " secured ''. My girl friend left her job because they were calling multiple times per day and her manager was mad that she was receiving personal calls at work. They threatened to garnish her wages and told her that they would make her pay either way. They have not updated any information on my XXXX report since XX/XX/XXXX. I pulled a report from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX it showed a balance of XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. However, on the XXXX report pulled XX/XX/XXXX they show a balance of XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX I had a XXXX report pulled and it shows the reporting XXXX dollars from XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX had court case was finalized against my girl friend for this account in the amount of XXXX but on my report XXXX dollars. We have received no more letters or correspondence since then. My XXXX XXXX report is showing this account currently listed as Castle credit and has not been unpdated since XX/XX/XXXX. My XXXX XXXX report is listed as XXXX XXXX. I have disputed this information because this account because no similar accounts even show up on my XXXX account. My girl friend is showing the Castle Credit on her XXXX and XXXX XXXX on XXXX but not on XXXX.. Per my bank it is illegal for both accounts to 1. choose which report they are going to report to and 2 have 2 companies reporting for the same account with different amounts.

I have notified Castle Credit Co Holdings , LLC that I was a victim of identity theft and have notified mailed them by mail numerous times. I have never received any responses from Castle Credit Co Holdings , LLC and I know they received my documents as I mailed them through XXXX XXXX XXXX Certified Mail with Return Receipt request and was signed for. I reported the Identity Theft, as requested by law enforcement, through the Federal Trade Commission, Identity Theft Report Number : XXXX, on XX/XX/XXXX and mailed them a copy of it. I have still not received any documentations that I requested about this fraudulent account which was reported to the major credit bureaus and was how I found out about the fraud accounts. I recently contacted an attorney to ask questions on why Castle Credit Co Holdings , LLC would not respond to me, and he said there probably most likely is a lien on your home and he was right. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I did search the XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX website as I own an investment property in Tennessee but reside in Illinois. The XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX, states that this is a {$15000.00} XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I did not authorize nor have anyone install anything at that home nor is anyone allowed to alter anything at the property I own. I would like assistance with my credit report. I have two accounts that have been written off as " bad debt '' showing on XXXX that are hindering me from being approved to buy a house. One account is with Castle Credit Holdings for {$1500.00}, it says it was closed XX/XX/2018. The other is with XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$1100.00} and says it was closed XX/XX/2018. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act it states that if you lost your job or were put on unemployment they have to close the account and remove the debt. I see they are closed on XXXX, but why are they still showing? Shouldn't they be 100 % removed as i lost my income? The same two accounts also show on XXXX, except the account for Castle Credit Holdings still shows as an open account on XXXX. I am also seeking legal advice this week from a local attorney to dispute these items. Castle Credit Holdings directly harassed me calling me literally two days a week to remove the debt. I told them i lost my job, but was receiving unemployment. I told them all i could afford was $ XXXX monthly, but they refused the $ XXXX monthly and told me it was not even what my monthly payment was so they would not take it. Can they do that?? This was done back in XXXX. My stepfather per my credit report did not pay on this account since XX/XX/XXXX. This home was sold and a new owner in XX/XX/XXXX so I am not sure how this account was not settled and why it is still reporting open and active under my credit with 120 days late payments for the last 5 years. I have been harassed for the last five years by this company, they call my cell phone, place of work and have been told on numerous occasions that my place of employment is not a place I may be contacted at, as I am not an office employee and have no access to speak on the phone with anyone. I told him that I did n't have those amount of funds, he then asked me if I was renting or buying this property. XXXX through XX/XX/2022 is reporting as missed payments. I had autopayment setup and never had an issue in years with the payment systems malfunctioning. However I suffered identity theft and some cards were canceled while I was in the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and other health issues that have caused the Veterans Administration to declare me XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was in the hospital and NOT in the home during the time that they systems payment system failed to charge my account. I have never missed a payment and never intended to avoid paying this debt. I have never had trouble paying it. By the time this complaint has been responded to by Castle Credit, the account will be fully paid off with a one time payment of over XXXX. I am asking Castle Credit to please remove those late payments as I am not responsible for a breakdown in payment processing technology. I am a XXXX veteran. Please help me and have compassion. I make regular scheduled payments on my consumer loan through my bank to Castle Credit. In XXXX they claimed they had not received my payment. Although I had proof from my bank that the payment was made on time they charged me a late fee. I told them I would put a stop on that check and issue a new payment. Then miraculously they somehow " found the check " they claimed not to have received and then charged me a fee when they deposited the check that I had already told them I put a stop on. The same issue occurred on XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke to my bank to put a stop on that check and asked how could this happen. The representative from my bank told me because Castle Credit opted to receive physical checks in the mail rather than e-checks. I believe their claim of not receiving checks is a scam and they " lose '' checks in order to charge a late fee. and then double charge fees when they " find '' the missing check a day after they charge a late fee. I also attempted to get an explanation of 3 fees they charged on my account on XX/XX/2021 Reverse P+I Interest of {$30.00}, {$70.00}, and {$74.00}. I originally began this complaint with the Attorney General Of New Mexico and the XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2016 because of the harassing and threatening phone calls that I received from Castle Credit. I paid my bill faithfully until earlier that year when I went into a hardship. When I could pay my bill the phone calls started. I told them to stop calling me and to only contact me via email but they refused and I kept getting threats from them about taking my house because there was a lien on it. I later found out they put a lien on my house fraudulently when they opened the contract which I was told was against the law because my payments were current. I met with an assistant attorney general and I was included in a consumer complaint. I was copied on an email that informed Castle Credit to contact them only and not me. Beginning last year I began getting phone calls from Castle Credit again, on my phone and my work number. I told them again not to call me but the phone calls continue. I have been trying to find information about the case from the Attorney General but have not had any luck but was told to file this complaint.

On XX/XX/2018 I finalized a financing plan with Castle Credit Co Holdings, when I purchased a XXXX Vacuum Cleaner. Since then I have attempted to fix issues with the company but have been completely unsuccessful. Not only was an auto-pay never established as promised, due to that they are reporting my account being ( 30 ) days late on one occasion. I had already called them and spoke with a person in charge about this related to my auto-pay and was assured it was taken care of and would not affect my credit report. Now, they have a late payment on my credit files, which has lowered my FICO score by more than 100 points. In addition to having this issue with the company, they also illegally retrieved my husband, XXXX XXXX 's credit file. I never consented for them to pull his credit files, and he has placed a separate fraud action for that matter. He was not even present, and I was the only one doing business with their company. I have this account solely in my name, and have a signed contract with my name and signature on it. My speculation is they preferred for him to be listed on the account with me, but that is not legal.

On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke to an agent at Castle Credit and told them I had a late payment because my system wasnt working and as soon as it was serviced I would make a payment. They called me again on XX/XX/XXXX but I missed it due to work obligations. They called again on XX/XX/XXXX demanding payment. I spoke to XXXX XXXX. I told her I had already talked to someone and that I would be making a payment when my system was serviced. She asked for my credentials so she could have a conversation with me so I said I dont have anything else to add. I will be making a payment when my system is serviced. Before I was able to complete my statement Ms. XXXX, speaking over me, said thank-you-have-a-good-day as quickly as she could and hung up on me. I had a water filtration system installed in my home in XXXX. The company financed it through Castle Credit, LLC. and did not furnish me with the terms and conditions of such financing to include filming a lien against my property. When I sold the property, I was made aware of the lien. I believed the lien to be satisfied at the time of the purchase when my property sold in XXXX of XXXX, only to receive a letter later in XXXX stating that the account was going to collections unless I took immediate action. I called and set up a payment plan to get current, paying {$570.00} in XXXX and XXXX of XXXX, then a payment of {$230.00} in XXXX to be caught up and resume my normal monthly payments of {$130.00} thereafter. The company reported to all three credit bureaus that the account was now in collections and remained in collections until I paid it in full XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX I paid a collection account settlement with Castle credit ( formally Prime accept ). On that day I requested verification MULTIPLE TIMES for proof it would be paid off. I was denied that request. I was told on that date that the balance I paid would settle and close the account and it would be reported as such with my credit bureaus. It was reported as current on my experian report which isn't. My ex an I bought a water system in XXXX from a company that went door to door in our neighborhood when we had our house built, which we didnt realize until later that there was no solicitation allowed. The company never even explained to us that it was at such a high interest rate. I am in the the process of purchasing a home and a retail installment contract is being incorrectly listed as a secured home improvement loan for {$7800.00} and is also showing as a collection account when it's a charge off account. I purchased a vacuum from an inhome sales person. I got the loan from this company in 2017 for XXXX . Within the 1st month the vacuum broke and I attempted to return it but they refused to let me. The have since been charging me interest and refusing to close out the account. I bought a water softener and they used Castle Credit to finance it. On my contract with the water softer company there is no terms, interest rate, or amount of the monthly payments. Soon after we started getting phone calls from them and they wanted {$80.00} every 2 weeks for 60 months. We have paid them for the last 4 years. I had an account with Castle credit for a XXXX vacuum. I was transferring jobs and advised this company that I needed help paying the bill. The 1st representative agreed to help me, then I began getting collection calls at different hours and nonstop. I began to get aggravated so I borrowed money from a family member and asked for a payoff. I was advised that if I paid a little more than half the amount, they would mark the account as paid and full on my credit report. I do not recognize their name and have not done business with any such company. No address was provided with their inquiry. I have been turned down for credit previously for having too many hard inquiries some of which like this company, I do not know and another that told me they would not pull a hard inquiry and did so anyway, although I did not do business with them. On XX/XX/2020, I received a letter from CCCH stating that due to financial hardship, they are willing to let me settle my account for {$1900.00}, which will satisfy the debt in full.
