I inquired about a payday loan online to which the company 's listed secretary was falsely represented as the actual president of the company and persuaded me in to an installment loan to which I have absolutely zero experience with and from that moment on I was sadly, severely, and pathetically taken advantage of leading up to now. I will begin at the in person meeting on XX/XX/XXXX of 2021 when I was instructed to meet an employee by the name of XXXX who presented me with my paperwork and simply showed me a couple spots to sign and had a check ready, but never went over or explained anything to which I assumed was normal until I went to sign on the last spot and noticed some mention of extra charges to which I asked her about and she said that the charge has to go on all of the loans ( it was some extra charge for deferred payments if I am unable to work ) and I told her that I did not want it and thats when she began to argue with me about it and interrogate me as to why I wouldn't want the coverage leaving me to feel attacked and left me very vulnerable, but I was insistent that I did not want this coverage. She seemed to become very agitated and flustered around the office trying to figure out how to reprint the check and contracts without it and so on before she eventually put another one down in front of me which now I saw another extra charge on it for a life insurance policy on myself to which I informed her that I had no interest in taking out a life insurance policy to which she stared me down and told me that the life insurance policy is not optional. This left me in a position of being alone and by myself in an office I had never been in before and being uneducated in the financial world which allowed XXXX to take complete advantage of me able to manipulate me into signing a contract out of fear and under duress. I repeated multiple times that I did not understand why these had been added without my knowledge and the only responses were that they were required by the company if I wanted the money. It was brought to my attention that this woman took complete advantage of me and that these contracts I was never even offered the time to review or go over ( in fact originally when setting up the time to sign the paperwork they wanted me to just do it electronically from my car without ever seeing or talking to anyone ) or inquire any questions about are in no way required to get a loan. Also during this visit I was asked what my work phone number was to which I declined to provide at first to which XXXX assured, reassured, then " swore on everything '' that the phone number is only used to confirm the location of the business and that under no circumstance what so ever would anyone ever attempt to make any kind of contact at my work place. In less than 30 days she was already calling my place of work. I answered the phone one of the times and she became hostile immediately to which I stated " You are not allowed to call me at work. You specifically told me that you would never call here. " to which she replied " I can call clients anywhere and anytime I want '' to which I had no choice but to end the call due to being at work. I returned the call at later time and I made it abundantly clear that from XXXX to XXXX my job is literally in jeopardy if I am using my cell phone for personal reasons as people can get severely hurt or injured from this working in a shop and it is company policy to which she immediately disregarded as if nothing was said at all. I received an email from XXXX XXXX the SR VP Of Branch Operations on XX/XX/XXXX of 2021 in reference to my past due account. I replied to her email informing her of the actions of XXXX at the XXXX branch and have been waiting since expecting some kind of reply or contact of some kind from her as I made it pretty clear that I was very uncomfortable with what happened with her Manager in XXXX, but still have not heard back from XXXX.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed a {$380.00} deduction on my paystub. I had no idea what this deduction was for and inquired with my HR department. They immediately mailed me paperwork regarding this garnishment, and then XX/XX/XXXX, I received paperwork in the mail from XXXX XXXX representing Cashco regarding a garnishment from them. this paperwork was dated XX/XX/XXXX. Almost 3 weeks is a very long time for them to wait to send me. I feel that they were waiting until they received the garnished money before they mailed. However, this is not my major complaint. My major complaint is that I had no idea what this garnishment was for. The court paperwork stated that it was an original debt amount of {$1500.00} that was entered against me on XX/XX/XXXX. 15 years ago. And that the current amount due was {$10000.00} due to continually accruing interest. I mailed paperwork to the courthouse ( that is in a different state than I live in ) and received no response. Finally, I called Cashco and explained to them that I had no idea what this was for and wondered why I had never been notified before when I had the same address for many years and always worked a tax paying job all of these years. They mailed me a piece of paper that showed a {$990.00} amount financed that the guy I spoke with at Cashco said was in the form of a check to fix my transmission. I have gone back on every record, memory, asked friends, etc to recall what this may have been for 15 years ago. I can not. The main point of my dispute is that this was 15 years ago. As I said, I had the same address for many years and have worked tax paying job all of these years. I do not feel that this exorbitant amount of interest should be legal. In the past 4 months, they have garnished over {$4000.00} already. It does not seem right that they can neglect to inform someone of a debt that they feel you owe and then just let it sit and incur interest charges for 15 years.
