I contacted Caribou Refinancing to refinance my vehicle. Upon pre-qualify I was presented 2 options for refinance. I made my choice to waive all add on extras I also chose a 72 mo term at interest rate. I was then told to supply payoff quote, original contract, id 's, registration, pay stubs, etc... Upon doing so I received a call from my loan XXXX XXXX. During this recorded conversation numbers seemed fine but XXXX was insistent on trying to sell me product. I informed him NO numerous times. I also informed him my vehicle has a warranty on it until XX/XX/2023 thru XXXX. I also informed him it's both transferable and renewable. He continued the sales pitch so I hung up. The site then asked me to finalize loan by reviewing and signing. The numbers were way off. I emailed XXXX to ask why and he did not mention anything about adding a powertrain warranty to the refi. This powertrain warranty added against my wishes and without my knowledge or even mentioned drove the financed amount up {$1300.00}. How many others are they doing this to? Truth and transparency in lending, I think not. I have not signed the documents. I should also mention this was also done after they performed a hard pull on our credit. The XXXX attachments show a few things. 1. It shows no extra added coverage on there loan offer ( screenshot ). 2. Shows over a {$2000.00} discrepancy in payoff amount and new financed amount. {$1300.00} is the undisclosed powertrain warranty.

On XX/XX/2022 I received final refinance loan documents. These were completed and returned by prepaid FedEx provided on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX, along with witnessed XXXX XXXX for the transaction and my vehicle title. On XX/XX/2022 I was called by the company and they requested that I change my insurance policy name to match my abbreviated name on my NY drivers license. I told them that the NY XXXX has always abbreviated my name because they can't fit my full name on the license. I also told them that my full legal name is on every document associated with this transaction, my license and my insurance have been this way for decades, that their request was completely unreasonable, unnecessary and that we could forget this whole transaction if they pushed this matter. Today I contacted the company to find out the status loan and was told " I took a look at your application and I found that it was closed after we attempted to get an updated insurance card, and we unsuccessful. This was needed to move forward with the refinance, and since we were unable to obtain it, your application was closed as a result. '' This company kept asking for more and more and more every time I spoke/texted or dealt ( emails ) with them. I do not think their name change request was ethical, moral and perhaps not even legal. My complaint is about these shoddy business practices.

I applied for my auto loan refinance. However, I was rejected because of my status in the United States. I provided them with my latest XXXX which is my status to study in the United States which states I am studying and my graduation is XXXX, 2024. They rejected me for the fact that I don't have the status after XXXX, 2024. I can provide you my XXXX. I contacted the lender and this is what he said back in an email. " lending partners underwriting criteria requires that a student visa be valid for the length of the loan ; unfortunately, your student visa expires in XX/XX/ 2024 before the term of the loan would end. The lending partner will be sending you an Adverse Action Notice within 30 days detailing the specific reasons your application was declined. The notice will also include specific instructions on how you can obtain a copy of your credit report. '' I feel this is discrimination based on race and status.

On Friday XXXX XXXX 2021, XXXX from Moto refi, a vehicle refinance company, run my credit and my girlfriends credit without our authorizations. And after being being kind of forced to use them because they run our credit, he now refuses to answer any of my text. So our credit have been ran for no reasons.
