Due to COVID hardships I pawned the title of my XXXX XXXX XXXX to get the money I needed for rent. I received XXXX from Car bucks in XXXX off of XXXX XXXX. I had just started with a company as Im a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and thought I would have no trouble paying this amount back. Unfortunately I was unable to make the first payment and they took my car. They did not tell me they were going to take my car, I never received a letter stating their intent. I called the next morning as soon as they opened trying to meet them to pay the entire amount owed for return of my car with a family members help. I was told by XXXX that works at that location she couldnt tell me anything but only say that she would have the owner call me. It took him 3 days to call me and I told him I had the money and wanted to meet him to get my car and then he said he didnt want the money I owed him that he was exercising his right to keep my car thats worth 4x the amount of the loan and refused to take the cash to pay the loan off so he could keep my car? Is this not stealing? Ive now lost my home and my job bc Ive lost my car. Please help
