Dear CFPB, This is my second complaint on your board and I hope you do receive and read this. I am a former student of XXXX XXXX -- XXXX. Recently my federal loans have been thankfully forgiven and takes a very heavy burden off my shoulders. I have no problem paying for student loans as long as I did learn something from the time and also possibly a new skill to use in the world. However, the Corinthian system and also it 's private lending program has been found to be deceptive in their practices, and the law of the universe is that truth always comes out, one way or another. In my own experience, I have no problems with the teachers nor education in my campus, I did learn and everyone was always very kind to me. That however is the most I can say. Since attending this school, I have been forced to take out overpriced amounts from the government and to add to that an additional loan from private programs. The money that was promised to be by my Financial Aid advisor I have never seen even after almost 2 years of school. The private student loans I took out I immediately had to pay before I began my classes. The difficulty in your first month and already paying for a loan for me was difficult as I only maintained a part time job aside from taking care of filial duties with my family at home. My sister was kind enough to pay for this loan off the bat. I have paid this private loan off recently XX/XX/XXXX whilst XXXX was still coming under fire. I have recently asked for a reimbursement from Campus Student Funding LLC for monies paid -- they declined. This is money that I should not have paid for from the beginning. I quote XXXX stating that " paying for these loans from the beginning teaches students about financial obligations and responsibility ''. After what XXXX was found for, that quote is the most heinous, greedy and almost evil statement due to what the hidden motives of the school were. I 'm complaining about XXXX -- Campus Student Funding LLC. They have worked with Corinthian in scamming students into high priced extra loans that were used as a mere gambling scheme to fill their pockets, defraud other individuals, and play with lives of already financially struggling individuals by forming a plan to suck the money right out of their pockets and be used as a trading and bargaining tool for profit. XXXX - CSF LLC has several class action lawsuits vs them and their affiliates for defrauding investors of the company, and have been found that XXXX was one of their biggest profit makers, through deceptive agreements with the college behind officials and students for mass profit. XXXX CEO 's have now stepped down amidst the fire and a court appointed receiver is now in charge of liquidating assets. This is the time to make a move for the people and students and finally close the chapter for financial burden in this " XXXX private student loan program ''. I am looking for a settlement of the money I paid only in principle which is {$2700.00} not including interest ( 8 % ). With the truth out about this XXXX partner in crime, I believe it is fair for the receiver to forgive student loans owed and to reimburse the students of money paid already. I have included court documents, local Oregon news articles that have tied this scheme with XXXX from the beginning but now have just been found and their time is up. As I said in life, the constant is truth, and I believe this can be a close to the XXXX tragedy of high tuition loans and deceiving students. Though I will return to school, for profit colleges and institutions from now on will be vigilant in their main cause of existence, which is helping others before helping themselves. I would like a response about a reimbursement and relief and CFPB a response about their current standing with this company.

The first occurrence was XXXX XXXX, 2015 in the amount of {$370.00} at which I notified the company of the error, the company did not notify me. Second occurrence on XXXX XXXX, 2015 in the amount of {$370.00} at which the company was notified of the same error and is currently unresolved as well, again I was not notified of the error I had to notify them. On both occasions the representatives that I called have requested and they have received faxes of the occurrences on my account at which they confirmed that they were received via fax to the representatives and management team of the company. All documentation showed the amounts debited in error, fees resulted from the error. The representatives and management team has promised as per the conversation to reimburse the amounts and any applicable fees associated with the error. I have met each demand the company had requested, I also faxed them documentation that I want a resolution. I contacted the company and verified they have received all the faxes, and I also requested for everything to be noted on my account. The have only reversed the XXXX charges, however have not reimbursed me for my fees. I was charged {$36.00} for each transaction by my bank as an NSF fee, and I have also been hit with {$140.00} in overdraft fees for my personal charges to my account that went NSF due to the {$370.00} charges. I have submitted written documentation that I want resolution, I also want verification of the error and the solution of the error. The company has not sent me any documentation that I requested, I then requested for termination of my lease with the company as they violated the contract agreement. The company has failed to comply with all.

Through research I had to find out how the payments were to be made into which I found out the payments were to be made electronically through an ACH ( automated clearing house payment ) form. Well all I wanted to do was terminate the ACH form and pay for the lease through my own means and their website into which you can pay by check or credit/debit card. It states on that form that a submission in writing must be made to MotoLease LLC. for whom the lease is though in a reasonable amount of time for them to respond. I then called MotoLease LLC. to verify that the address I had mailed the letter to was correct. Which it was, but upon verification I spoke with an XXXX at the time and I was notified I would have to pay a security deposit of {$300.00}, and it is not listed anywhere on the ACH form or the lease terms. During that same call I asked XXXX could they waive the fee for that because it is not listed anywhere in the terms and to speak with management I was denied was told my information would be passed along. I call back today ( XXXX/XXXX/2015 ) spoke with another representative today asked about the information and still was not given an answer, but I was told this time that the security deposit amount was {$500.00}, and was apologized to for being given the wrong information. Again I asked to speak with someone in management was denied again, but was told by the same rep ( whose name I did not get ) that they would just cancel the ACH form and I could pay online into which steps I have listed above. To add I was not told by the dealership XXXX ( XXXX ) or even MotoLease how the payments were to be made I had to research all of this information for myself.

Case number : XXXX To Whom It May Concern, I was informed that my for profit student loan is owned by Campus Student Funding , LLC and not XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX so this complaint has to be filed with Campus Student Funding , LLC instead of XXXX they just service my loan and do not have the authority to eliminate or reduce my loan. I was also told that my loan was not part of the settlement which I know is not the case. XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX ordered that funds in the millions be set for current and former students of XXXX XXXX for loan forgiveness or borrowers defense to repayment on both fed and for profit loans which includes XXXX XXXX which switched to Campus Student Funding , LLC which I think smells fishy that as soon as all this came out my loan switched hands so quickly. XXXX and XXXX both stressed that people should not enroll in these colleges in Illinois. Just because my loan was sold or transferred does not change anything I ca n't just trade-in, exchange or sell my XXXX education for a new XXXX it has no value and I should n't have to keep paying on it. The incidents of fraud and scams by XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX are all over the internet, hit the news and was even aired on XXXX based right here in XXXX. Do you think the companies I apply to will understand if I put on my resume that all the other Corinthian colleges committed fraud and bad lending practices but XXXX in XXXX XXXX, IL. I am requesting that my student loan account # XXXX be placed in borrowers defense to repayment. Thank you, XXXX XXXX

My complaint is for XXXX of XXXX, PA once a part of XXXX Colleges that forced me into getting a XXXX loan from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have submitted a complaint in the past about my XXXX loan and have gotten no with it and now my loan was sold to another private lender Campus Student Funding LLC at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have making payments none stop for almost 4 years now and my balance is actually higher now then it was when i was in school and from when i graduated in XXXX 2012. These high interest loans and the high cost of XXXX in general put me so far in debt that I was not eligible for a mortgage because my debt to income ratio was too high. Even with close to a XXXX credit score the loan officer was not able to help me. I pay all my bills on time but here pretty soon I 'm not gon na be able to afford the genesis loan that is now with the other loan servicer. This was unfair practice on the part of XXXX colleges and the XXXX lenders and now four years later I am still suffering from attending there. I never received anything saying that the lawsuit against them would help reduce my debt. I think XXXX sold the active accounts before they were able to be reduced. I think my loan should be reduced since i have not missed a payment since XXXX of 2012 and my balance is even higher now then it was when i graduated.

Upon beginning classes through the XXXX XXXX ( " XXXX '' ), I was obligated by this school to borrow student loan funds through XXXX XXXX XXXX ( " XXXX '' ) ; I was awarded no alternative loan providers and was advised that I could not seek and/or apply any other student loan monies from any other loan servicer. Then, a few months after I began my studies at XXXX ( and while still attending there as a full-time student ), I was notified on several occasions by the director, president, and other financial advisors at XXXX that I had to start making payments on my student loan, and was threatened to be expelled from XXXX and, if I neglected to start making payments on the loan, that XXXX would report this on my credit bureau as a delinquent loan balance. So, I contacted XXXX to establish a repayment plan, but was told that there was no repayment plan that could be offered. In or around XXXX XXXX, 2015, my student loan was transferred to University Account XXXX, XXXX from XXXX after the CFPB Student Loan Settlement became effective. This student loan was established on false and predatory lending practices, and is also a violation of XXXX, Title 12 U.S.C. 5531 ( a ) ), the Higher Education Act, and the Federal Trade Commission Guides for XXXX XXXX.

XXXX University, XXXX FL, is owned by XXXX Colleges. I took out a private loan through XXXX University called a XXXX Loan for approximately {$4600.00} on or about XX/XX/XXXX to cover the part of tuition not covered through the Federal Student Loan program. XXXX switched the loan servicer from XXXX to Campus Student Funding and XXXX, XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ), PH # XXXX XXXX on or about XX/XX/XXXX. The following is an excerpt of what has happened to XXXX Colleges : " XXXX and XXXX borrowers : On XX/XX/XXXX, the Department announced new information about this relief. The Department has found that between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX University ( " XXXX '' ), as well as XXXX misrepresented job placement rates for many of their programs of study. The Department stated that these findings qualify students enrolled in the covered programs and time periods to apply for a discharge of their federal Direct Loans through an expedited process using a simple attestation form. This includes parents of XXXX and XXXX students with parent PLUS loans. '' The Federal Court ruled that ALL student debt for students attending XXXX Colleges/ XXXX University is to be fully discharged for those attending between XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX.

In XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted University XXXX XXXX regarding my 1098-E tax form. I was told that my loan, Acct # XXXX, had been written off back in XX/XX/XXXX. I was not notified about this ; I had been paying my loan through auto bill pay through my bank, which sent XXXX each month. Once I found out that the loan was written off I stopped the bill pay service. I contacted University XXXX XXXX to ask why they kept accepting the money after the account was closed? They told me that they could not help me and referred me to Campus Student Funding to report my problem about the money. I tried calling leaving numerous voicemails to call me back to no avail. The same thing with their website : http : //www.csfinformation.com, to submit an inquiry with the same result. I don't think that it is right for them to keep accepting money on a closed account. I am trying to recoup my payments. This loan was for a trade school that went out of business. XXXX, XXXX or XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX campuses ) They were taken to court for misleading business practices and lost.

I received a private student loan from XXXX, under false pretenses as a former student at XXXX University. I have written to CFPB about this issue several times already. However, I was informed by both the U.S. Department of Education 's Ombudsman, as well as the Florida State Attorney General 's Office to contact you again, due to the latest update on Private student loan forgiveness through the XXXX. I was recently contacted by the U.S. Department of Education that my Borrower 's Defense Claim for my Federal student loans has been approved, and that my Federal Direct Student loans will be forgiven. I now ask the CFPB to assist me with getting my private student loans forgiven with XXXX or Campus Student Funding ( CSF ), formerly XXXX. I will also like to be reimbursed for all out of pocket payments I have been making towards my private student loans to date.

I attended XXXX at the XXXX campus. I was there from XXXX XXXX through XXXX XXXX. As far as I knew, I had XXXX loans. A federal loan and a XXXX loan. My taxes said my lender was XXXX and all the emails I have saved for applying to my loan links to XXXX. Found out about the lawsuit/settlement against XXXX and the XXXX loans. Found out that my loan was not qualified for the forgiveness since it was not a XXXX loan. That is when I found out that Campus Student Funding owned my loan. I had never heard of them until last year. I have been trying to get a copy of my original loan contract but can not get in contact with Campus Student Funding and neither can XXXX, they now service my loan. I have also tried to contact the XXXX campus to get a copy of it and they do not have XXXX since it was done online. I believe that my loan did qualify to be forgiven or reduced.

I attended XXXX XXXX from XXXX. Was promised job placement and guaranteed my credits would transfer to other colleges but instead I received a useless degree that no one would accept and racked up about XXXX in private and federal loans. Advisors had no ideas about career paths or educational requirements for these. I was even told that job placement was more for medical students than XXXX XXXX majors when I attempted to get assistance. I was registered in classes that I did n't have to attend just sign in at the beginning of the week. All I wanted was to get a decent education to stay off the streets and instead I 'm being drowned in debt and had to start from zero to get a degree at XXXX XXXX. Apparently XXXX XXXX sold or partnered up with XXXX XXXX XXXX in order to continue stealing students money right before the lawsuit or during the case.

I was a former a student at XXXX XXXX in XXXX Nevada. The school closed and so did the XXXX. My Federa Studnet loans have been forgiven and not my private student loans. so here I am with no degree and in debt due to the ambitious And scamy practices of my school whose corporate members filled their pockets with the student 's money. I attended XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NV XXXX, and received a private student loan with payments to be made to XXXX XXXX, during and after completion of my studies. I subsequently learned that my payment obligations have been transferred to Campus Student Funding ( CSF ), as a result of DOE finding XXXX was engaging in bad practices. Furthermore, I came across information that private student loans were to be discounted, yet CSF is still seeking the full original loan amount.
