I received a letter from my employer on XX/XX/XXXX ( ish ). This letter stated I was being garnished by a debt collector. I received NOTHING from this debt collector about this garnishment. I contacted these people as well as the district court that allowed this to happen. I was ignored for the most part and finally told by the court to get legal advice. The debt collector sent me their documentation, this debt is about 20 years old!!!! A freaking gym membership. The address they sent the information to was an address I havent lived at in over 3years. I dont even live in the same state any longer. The ONLY documentation I received was from my employer. That is it!! What can be done about this?!?!?? This particular debt collector is related to the owners of this gym. XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. This is a racket.

My employer received a garnishment if my wages and notified me, Ive never received nitice if anything, I called the XXXX Kansas court clerk and she advised me it was a XX/XX/XXXX case number, the company XXXX, XXXX HAS NOT BEEN IN BUSINESS SINCE XX/XX/XXXX per Kansas Secretary of State, it is addressed to me at an address in XXXX, KS, Ive never lived in XXXX, KS, Ive tried calling the attorney that is on the notice sent to my employer and all I get is voicemail, no live person. My dispute is I have no idea what this is, Ive never received notice of a Judgement filed against me, its from XX/XX/XXXX and they are trying to garnish my paycheck for a XX/XX/XXXX Debt I know nothing about
