Debt collector served small claims court papers. I called to ask for proof the debt was mine and they couldn't provide it. I was told the case was being dismissed, and received paperwork today that shows 2 days after I got the email saying it was being dismissed, they went to court anyway- knowing I was under the impression it was dismissed. My husband was included and even if it was mine- we were not married at the time, which I told XXXX XXXX the phone, and he responded by assuring me that my husband would be removed.

A debt collector is saying he can take away my business license and property over my employees debt. He is calling 2-3 times a day, and only when the employee is not at work. I'm XXXX years old. He says he's sending the sheriff out to close my business down. My employee only gets paid monthly but he is calling everyday. The company is called Commercial Adjustment in XXXX, XXXX. He not only calls the business, but calls my personal cell phone. His harassment calling me on my cell phone almost caused me to have an accident in my car.
