Please see below letter send to NCS Credit along with documantation. In spite of this, they continue to call my personal cell and send emails to my personal email even though we do not owe this and they have been notified by mail not to contact me by cell or email. Also, they never responded to this letter or argued proof, they simply keep trying to collect the debt. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NC XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , OH XXXX RE : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Dear XXXX XXXX , I am in receipt of your letter. Upon opening it and reading it I did not find ANY enclosed documentation. The letter states there is documentation attached There was nothing but your letter. My guess is that no documentation exists because there isnt any. Your firm has obtained a bad incorrect debt as XXXX DOES NOT owe anything to XXXX XXXX XXXX The story is as follows. The above XXXX XXXX, acquired XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX. At curbside there was a large pole and street signs for XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX. See included photos. On the pole XXXX XXXX had their phone number, so I call to enlist their services to replace the XXXX XXXX Sign ONLY with the new XXXX XXXX sign. I originally spoke with XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX. I have attached her original email in which she was under the impression this was a double- or two-sided sign. She mentioned it in the email saying this was a quote for the faces PLURAL of the existing sign. I know why this happened. The last order for the prior owner, XXXX XXXX XXXX at this address was for TWO signs. One for XXXX XXXX and the other for XXXX XXXX. When I ordered MY new sign from XXXX she initially quoted me over {$1800.00} XXXX thought it was excessive and paid the half down required anyway. Sometime later in another phone conversation with her she looked over the order and mentioned a two sided sign. I explained it was for a one-sided single sign and she recognized the error, asking if I wanted the other sign. I told her the nail salon was still there and I would only be replacing the XXXX XXXX panel. She then said it would be half. And since I had already placed my order and gave my deposit the balance was then XXXX according to her. Weeks after the sign was installed, I received a bill for the original {$1800.00} amount. I called XXXX and she apologized, stating it was an error and that I was all paid. I thanked her and thought that was the end of it. A few weeks later I received a call from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in accounts receivables asking for the amount again. I explained what happened and that XXXX should have fixed the error. See included email where XXXX indicates more than the required deposit was received but there was still a balance. There is clearly a disconnect inside XXXX XXXX accounting and the email is proof. After my response to XXXX I thought the matter was resolved. I got another call from XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX saying it was correct and that I owe the balance of {$970.00}. I explained once again what happened and she should speak with XXXX. I told her I DO NOT OWE this. I assume she placed the matter with your company in an attempt to cover up XXXX mistake and ineptitude. In conclusion, XXXX DOES NOT owe this. The corporation has never owed this and I consider this matter closed. Also, I am an XXXX of this Corporation and I AM NOT liable for this debt either. DO NOT call my personal cell number. Should any further debt collection activity continue or if any negative reporting takes place as a result I will file a formal complaint against your company according to FCRA guidelines and seek damages, attorneys fees and other charged in court. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, XXXX
