Please be informed that over the last several months I have sent communication to the XXXX, XXXX, and Bureau of Accounts collections company. I explained that the the information being furnished about me is inaccurate and I asked them to STOP reporting this information because it causing me too suffer financially. This account is causing me to miss out on the low rates that other consumers were able to secure.If you look at my credit, you will see that I have been trying to get a mortgage and this account comes up as a problem. Besides this account, my credit has NO negative reporting across all 3 credit bureaus.I also communicated with Bureau of accounts collections company to review the paperwork they have about this account and send me copies of this information. They mailed me a list of charges but no signature on the paperwork, no payment information, no authorization of services, nothing. I clearly asked Bureau of accounts collections to STOP reporting this account as it is inaccurate. Violates my rights and is causing damage to me emotionally, financially a is a great embarrassment to me and my family as we are not able to move forward with our mortgage application. I explained I do not owe them {$860.00} balance and this is an error. I explained that if this account is not removed, I will file suit seeking damages for the missed interest rate that I could have gotten if this account was deleted in a timely fashion, {$1000.00} for violation and reporting inaccurate information about me, I will file for emotional stress and embarrassment, and for all attorney fees that have been incurred. I will also file a suit for each credit bureau that allows the Bureau of accounts collections company to continue reporting this inaccurate information about me. ( XXXX and XXXX ) This account came back ILLEGALLY verified from the credit bureaus and Bureau of accounts collections. They did not verify the accuracy of reporting and they responded in writing which I have a record of. I am writing the CFPB for help with this case before I sign the retainer agreement to file suit regarding this matter.I am going to explain this in detail. I do not owe {$860.00}. This amount is broken up into two different service codes. - XX/XX/2018 XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX for {$260.00}. My insurance company said that because the Urology office is In-Network, that amount they are not supposed to bill to the patient as the charge is contracted with the insurance provider as the In-Network cost, and no additional amount should be billed to me for that service. - XX/XX/2018 XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$600.00}, the insurance company does not have any record of the dr. office submitting that claim for services on that day or for that amount. They said that because they are In-Network, You are supposed to first submit a claim to them and if they deny it, only then can they bill the patient. They said that In-Network providers shouldn't bill patients w/o first going through insurance. This is the first violation for In-Network billing practices. AND it's flat-out illegal since they've already contracted for a set price for that service as an In-Network Provider. I also called the Bureau of accounts control to explain the situation and they've asked that start getting them all types of paperwork and information regarding this debt they alleged I owe. I asked them to do this originally when I first wrote them and they did not. I had to go behind them and request this information. Even after they did not complete the request, they still divide to report this account on the credit EVEN WITHOUT VERIFYING OR SUBSTANTIATING THIS DEBT. I will produce the information I have to the CFPB to hold accountable everyone who is ignoring my requests and everyone who is involved with causing me harm. Attached you will find a copy of the EOB ( Explanation Of Benefits ) for the {$260.00} charge where it shows {$0.00} due by me. I've highlighted the charge in yellow and you can see where it says '' {$0.00} owed by me ''. For the 2nd charge, they said to explain in the letter that the provider didn't submit a claim for this and the insurance company has looked in multiple systems/places/archives and does not see any record of a submission for the {$600.00} claim. Because they are an In-Network provider, this is a violation of their contact with the insurance company as they have to submit all claims to them first before billing directly to the patient. For this, they've asked that I provide a copy of my insurance card ( front/back ). All I have is my current insurance card, not the one from 2018. They can use this to verify and validate that they are collecting a legal debt. They did not request the appropriate information causing unnecessary harm to me and my family during this state of emergency. The insurance company has 3 claims in total from the provider, so clearly they had the information, they just didn't file the claim, and the Bureau of accounts control did not do their due diligence as requested. This negative account is the only account on my credit. This is causing severe damage to my FICO score and preventing me from getting the rate I deserve. On a house that costs $ XXXX, the difference of half a percent will cause me to suffer over {$100000.00} over the lifetime of the loan.

This entire interaction happened within the last 2 months. I received the bill that I asked for on XX/XX/XXXX from BAC Services dba Bureau of Accounts Control, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NJ XXXX. Phone : XXXX I have received a written notice in the mail from BAC Services, LLC ( Bureau of Accounts Control ) that stated that I owe {$160.00} for XXXX work performed in XXXX of XXXX. I called the number in the letter and spoke with ( possibly XXXX ) not certain, but all my proceeding conversations were with her. I explained that I was in Chapter XXXX bankruptcy since XXXX of XXXX and that I am on a 4 year plan. I told them that I have never received any bill from my XXXX and that this is the first time I am made aware of this. I asked the person to please mail me the actual bill. I also stated that I would not have refused to pay a bill in the amount of {$160.00} while in Chapter XXXX. I was working really hard to have a clean slate after the discharge of my debt. She became annoyed with me after I told her about my bankruptcy but agreed to send me the original bill. After I received the bill I noticed that out of the {$160.00} charge {$110.00} was for billing and not the actual charge. I received another call even though I told them to please not call me and that I will try to resolve this as soon as possible. I also informed them of my lawyer 's name and contact information which the lady I was speaking to did not care to take or acknowledge. I live pay check to pay check. I have been furloughed a few months back for 6 weeks. I have not been able to do a good portion of my work that would bring more income because of Covid. I have been paying my monthly payments to the Trustee on the regular basis. I am employed however and extremely grateful for that. I then received another call at my office even though I explicitly told the person I was speaking to not to call. I wanted to resolve this, but I did not understand why they were calling me and threatening more phone calls and telling me how this will be affecting my credit after I have informed them that I have a bankruptcy lawyer and that they could contact him if they needed confirmation. I did ask her if she is allowed to call me after I gave her my lawyer 's information but she did not answer. In my further conversation I asked if the amount could be lowered because I really did not know of this bill and it seems that most of it are just late billing charges. She said that I can send them a letter and that they will check with their client. I told her that I will do that and that I really don't have any extra money but that I will try to resolve this. Again I reminded her that I am in Chapter XXXX bankruptcy but that got her very annoyed and she became rude and told me that they don't deal with lawyers and that this is my problem. Then she yelled at me and said okay I won't call you any more. She said again that she doesn't talk to lawyers and she hung up on me. The next thing I know is that I received an alert from credit monitoring company that a negative item posted on my account. When I went to check I realized that it was this XXXX bill. I would like to see this removed and I would like to resolve this by paying the original amount owed of {$58.00}. I am considering suing this company. I find that their practices are extremely offensive, rude and demeaning. It could be just this one person I dealt with not the entire staff but that was my experience. This type of behavior needs to stop. Especially right now when we are all in some sort of dire straits.

There was a discrepancy in my XXXX bill, based on what the insurance company paid, and what the XXXX office had on file. I asked for the statement for countless, endless months and it was never provided. Finally the XXXX office provided it and sent the bill to collections, the dentist 's name is XXXX XXXX XXXX. The collection agency is Bureau of Accounts Con. I received my explanation of benefits from my insurance company and created a spreadsheet, based on what the insurance company knows they paid and what the dentist has on file. The numbers do not add up. I 'll provide this documentation to anyone who asks. I have n't received a response to my attempts to contact the collection agency despite attempting to contact them for at least three months. I was on the phone with the credit bureau, who tried to reach out to the collection agency with me on the phone, and they were not able to get them on the phone either. I filed a complaint against the XXXX with the XXXX ; the XXXX later wrote me saying they would investigate the issue. They later returned and stated that the XXXX never responded to their attempts to contact him. I also filed complaints the XXXX as well as the medical board, the local courthouse, my police department, and the credit bureaus. I also informed my personal attorney about this. It 's becoming a habitual practice with the XXXX and the collection agency, that they are very challenged when it comes to communication and follow-up skills. It 's not my practice to go after people but since nothing is getting resolved, going to court may be my next action, due to inferior work, the XXXX doing work I did n't approve, double charging me when he needs to re-do his work, due to poor customer service, due to the payment not being reported correctly, and due to not receiving documents when I requested them. If I do go to court I have stated I will donate my proceeds because this is about principle and not capital. My reputation is at stake and my credit score has suffered and this company is just ignoring me while I 'm trying to resolve this. I 'm not receiving any proof of this debt or any explanation from the collection agency, and I 'm just looking to get this resolved, but all of these practices need to be put on record and on file. The dentist called a policeman, who then made harassing phone calls to me, stating I need to contact the collection agency and not the XXXX. However the XXXX would not provide contact information for the debt collection company, so I was contacting only the people I could. After reporting this to my local precinct, I found out that this practice of contacting a private citizen regarding a XXXX bill is not legal. The policeman who contacted me also stated he was filing a report, but never took a statement from me. My local precinct also stated this is not proper procedure and were very skeptical of these sorts of practices. Another example of the credit agency 's lack of respect and communications is when I wrote another letter to them dated XX/XX/XXXX and instead of responding to me, they just reported me to the credit bureau again, upon receipt of the letter on XX/XX/XXXX. I do n't understand why they would just ignore me and not respond. They reported me twice in one month ( XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX ). It should be in everyone 's best interest to resolve this issue amicably. This is not how business needs to be conducted ; we need to work together because we can accomplish anything if we can work together. I look forward to working this issue out amicably.

I had an been in collections by Burea of Accounts CONTR XXXX Address XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NJ XXXX. Phone XXXX XXXX XXXX. I am filing this complaint with this collections agency for destroying my credit to low 500s. I am unable to even rent an apartment, or lease a car, or obtain a credit card due to their refusal to submit a claim to my medical insurance company or through my XXXX car insurance company. In NJ a person has the right to submit a claim to either medical or car insurance at their discretion. I confirmed with this company that a year and a half ago they had been informed of my medical insurance that covers ambulance bills. My emergency room visit had gone through my medical insurance but the company refused to submit the claim. I had confirmed with XXXX and there are notations made where I had attempted to even submit the claim myself but was advised the company must submit it. XXXX ID XXXX group XXXX. I am now being billed {$1600.00} with a ruined credit score and according to my plan I was only to be held responsible for 25 % of my ambulance bill because of my great medical coverage. Also, I do not appreciate the discrimination in having my ambulance bill refused to be put through as a claim to my medical and/or through a XXXX car accident claim under XXXX. The other people involved had been given free ambulance ride covered through my XXXX car insurance policy. This company had TWO options of submitting in a claim before they completed ruined my credit score. This company had not only refused to allow me to make monthly payments if it was past claim submission but they had lied to me a year and a half stating they will put the claim through my medical which had been provided over the phone. I had mental health issues for the past 3 years and was put on family medical leave and I do not appreciate them taking advantage of a person with mental health XXXX issues since the date of XX/XX/2017 where I had taken an ambulance to the emergency room. The emergency bill had been covered through my insurance and the ambulance refused to submit the claim to my insurance. I find this discrimination horrific and it has caused me even more emotional distress that could have been solved if they had not discriminated against me. Not to mention, I am unable to even rent an apartment that had led me to end up renting rooms where I was in horrific situations that caused me even more emotional distress. I had attempted to solve this issue on numerous calls about 2 years ago and they refused to cooperate with me. As a resolution I would like to be held accountable for the 25 % of the {$1600.00} that they are billing me for since they had refused to put in the claim within coverage dates to be covered through two insurance companies.

Debt was paid in XX/XX/XXXX for the full amount of {$360.00} for services rendered in XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have received notice to verify account has been settled in full dated XX/XX/XXXX and that this information would be forwarded to all three Credit Bureaus to delete this from my credit report. This account still shows open and has not been reported to one of the three bureaus ( XXXX ). I have contacted the company and they stated they submitted electronic request to all credit bureaus and I needed to contact them there is nothing else for them to do this happens all the time and it is out of their control. I contacted the above mentioned credit bureau ( XXXX ) and they stated they have not received any electronic communication from the collection agency and account still shows active and open, the company will have to resend over the request before account can be deleted from my credit report they can not just delete without receiving communication from collection agency. I contacted the company twice in XX/XX/XXXX and again in XX/XX/XXXX and each time they keep giving me the run around saying there is nothing they can do another department handles submitting the request to the credit bureau 's, they do not accept phone calls from customers and they were not able to resend the information since it was already sent the first time.

I was checking my annual credit report and notice a derogatory mark on my report which dropped my score 50 points. After doing some investigating I realized it was from a debt collection company collecting a medical bill I owe. I was hospitalized in XX/XX/2018 and I had bills from multiple different doctors. I've paid so many different doctors for my time in the hospital so it looks like one doctor was missed. However I didn't receive proper notification of this debt or warning that actions against my credit score will be taken. I was on unemployment this year so I also was financially vulnerable this year. The action taken against me by this company is predatory and should be investigated. Medical billing service XXXX or laboratory entered wrong insurance identification number on insurance claim form when submitting claim. Insurer denied the claim and informed me I was not liable for amount ( {$500.00} ). Billing service waited too long to file an appeal and began sending me notices. I contacted billing service and explained situation. Also, arranged conference call with insurance company and billing service. Insurer informed billing service I was not responsible. Billing service turned debt over to collection agency. In XXXX 2015, collection agency reported debt to credit report companies XXXX, XXXX and XXXX without stating that debt was disputed and without contacting or informing me. I sent collection agency letters and proof from insurer that I was not liable.Collection agency stopped billing me. I attempted to contact the company several times because this account is inaccurately being reported to my credit report. This account was fraudulently sent to collections. This is a medical bill that was supposed to be submitted to my insurance company. The bill I received stated it was sent to my insurance however my insurance has no record of this claim. I also had secondary coverage on the date of service and therefore I would have never been responsible for this debt. Also under the new XXXX XXXX any XXXX XXXX under {$500.00} can not be reported. The original bill was {$600.00} and I have proof of {$200.00} worth of payments. They are reporting that I owe {$780.00} as the original balance when I have proof that amount was never owed.

In XX/XX/2020 debt collector contacted me on be half of original creditor ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) apartment owner. The debt collector claimed I have unpaid amount of {$590.00}. Right away I checked on my bank account and saw the image of cleared check. The snapshot of the check has handwriting mark of check depositor with my apartment name on it. I contacted the XXXX XXXX XXXX to confirm, they confirmed I do not have unpaid dues. In XXXX, I received few calls from debt collector which I didn't answer since I was out of country and they left me a voicemail. Inspite of explaining debt collector and confirming with original debt collector. They filed a complain against me on credit report. Now they have ruined my history. Very unprofessional

I was seen in XXXX and paid all co-pays told were due at the time of service. I did not receive a bill from XXXX XXXX XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX. I submitted check XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, it cleared my bank XX/XX/XXXX. I received messages from Bureau of Accounts Control on XX/XX/XXXX ( Letter dated XX/XX/XXXX ). My wife called them XX/XX/XXXX to explain that the debt had already been paid by check and the check cleared the bank. The agent told my wife that would be no problem and we would only hear back if XXXX XXXX XXXX disagreed. Nothing was said to us until they called today to say that we still owed the money. The debt has been settled nearly 2 months now and the calls are harassment. Please order a cease and desist.

Bureau of Accounts, Con has violated the FCRA by not providing documents to me in regards to this debt. I am unaware of this creditor and have not received any letters nor telephone calls that pertains this debt. The collection ( {$3100.00}. XX/XX/2018 ) on my XXXX report was wrongfully placed on me. It actually belongs to my relative who used my address. I sent XXXX the debt collection notice & medical bill with my relatives name as proof but they still said the collection stands.
