on XX/XX/2018 i received a call from XXXX this number belongs to Bryant Acc. my wife got a call from this same place in the 1st week in XX/XX/XXXX. when i called back the number the person answered investigations. the male on the phone ( i can not recall the name or if they even gave a name ), stated this had to do with a payday loan. i told the person that we filed and the bankruptcy for chapter XXXX was discharged in XX/XX/XXXX the bankruptcy was discharged. when my wife had this call in XX/XX/XXXX the person Ms. XXXX tried scaring my wife stating that the bankruptcy was not approved and that if she dose not pay that the sheriff 's would come to our door and arrested. at that time she contacted your office and made a complaint. On the above date when i contacted the number the person asked if anyone was arrested. i advised him no and that this is the 2nd time some one is trying this on me and my wife and that i want them to stop calling us and that they were not harassing us and that if they don't stop contacting our friends, family members, or us we will seek legal actions against them. I did use harsh language with them and advised them that i was not happy with them calling us and causing undue stress in the family. we also contacted the law firm that prepared our bankruptcy and they advised to file a complaint with your agency. i tried to talk to someone from your agency on the above date and they really did not seam like they wanted to do anything or file my complaint. the person from the so called investigations department of Bryant Acc. at the time my wife called sated that it was a attempt of a det through XXXX XXXX. when i talked to the so called investigator i told him if this for XXXX XXXX that i will be contacting my attorney an file a case with all agencies that i can on there collection tactics.

Kept receiving calls from XXXX. A XXXX XXXX called and left me a message that she needed a defensive statement for a lawsuit. Called number back but no answer. Looked up number and its reported as a scam. Then almost immediately I get a call from XXXX. I answered it and a XXXX XXXX answers and wants confirmation of my name. He then proceeds to give me my social security number and dob and a case number of XXXX. I never verified with him who I was so why is he verbally stating this type of information.its illegal.He then gives me another number XXXX and stated its check services for XXXX county Florida and that I have to pay him XXXX immediately or they will serve a warrant for my arrest and deliver it to my employer. I triesnto explain I do n't owe any money to this company and that my computer was hacked and personal info stolen during this timeframe he gave me. He said good luck and disconnected. I learned that the XXXX number is also calling and harassing my relatives and telling them I am wanted for check fraud. I am not familiar with XXXX ; the company they state I owe.

On XX/XX/2018 at am, XXXX XXXX ( called from XXXX ) from Bryant Bryant & Associations asking for XXXX. He said he was an investigator looking for XXXX XXXX, and she was listed as next of kin. He claimed his client says XXXX is going around writing fraudulent checks and had been writing them to his client. XXXX asked who the client was, XXXX XXXX gave her a fax number for her to fax ( XXXX ) a Power of Attorney to speak on XXXX 's behalf about the case. I looked up to find they are a debt collection agency and I could not get through to a line. I, XXXX, do not owe anything, nor is it in my credit report of any missed payments, and I know for a fact I do not write checks due to the type of account I have. I have not received any notice on my report nor by mail of anything and feel I am being targeted because I am a XXXX senior. Plus, XXXX has not been listed on my forms in the past for anything let alone the number they called her on is not her personal number. I'm not sure if she is being the one actually targeted because she is 100 % XXXX permanent and total.

I 've been getting calls from company called Bryant and Bryant associates claiming be lawyers office. However, I research them on XXXX and their are collection company. This is total against law and violates debt collection rules. A XXXX XXXX has called me numerous times saying he 's got legal claim against me in his office. I 've saved voicemails sent in last three months. Company refused to verify debt through mail. They called and harassing my family friends and job. They claim be lawyers office however, they are only collection company. State of Ct says that this company ca n't charge without crime its civil issue.

Received calls from " Bryant Bryant and Associates '' stating that I owe money on a bounced {$500.00} check from 2010. Never happened! The bank and account number they gave me was either fake or belonged to someone else. I asked them to send documentation and they refused, saying they did n't need to provide documentation. The woman on their end became very pushy and belligerent. I did not give them any information, and I clearly stated that they were not to call me anymore. They tried again anyway. I have now blocked their number on both my home and cell phones.

I and people I know were approached by a " investigating officer '' pretending to be XXXX XXXX from Bryant & Bryant & Associates pretending to represent XXXX XXXX XXXX with fake case number and claimed to need to make payment arrangements under penalty of Law. After setting up 75 biweekly payment got a call from a family member that it was a scam. I went to My representative at local XXXX XXXX XXXX location who verified it was a scam and cancel my debit card immediately. the scammer phone XXXX registered from XXXX Tx.

The company Bryant and Bryant contacted my wife in an attempt to contact me, but left contact information for me to return my call. The number was XXXX and it was XXXX XXXX. She pointed to a payday loan that I owed through XXXX services, but I have never taken out a payday loan. She was then trying to seek out other information or narrow down who I was, but I gave out no info. This was a very fishy sounding call and resulted in nothing that I know of.

They called me, my grandmother and my uncle. They threatened my uncle and cussed him out. They told me that they would put a writz on my business, come up to my job, and persecute me to the highest level of the law. They were very rude and disrespectful.
