I have received two voice messages on my cell phone and one voice message on work phone. Two of the messages stated they were from Weiss Arbitration and one from Weiss & Associates. The first message were received on XXXX XXXX , 2017 at XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX PST. The first call was to my cell phone and the second on my work phone. The voice mail stated : XXXX ( my name ) " my name is XXXX XXXX calling from Arbitration. My firm has retained a file formal complaint against your name and your social. We will be conducting and in depth investigation in your finances. In state law I am required to notify you 72 hours prior to this which starts right now. You need to be debriefed on all allegations inquired from you financial institute as well as place a statement on the record. I can be at my litigation 's department. My phone number is XXXX ext XXXX . '' On XXXX XXXX , 2017 at XXXX XXXX PST the following message was left on my cell phone : " This message is for XXXX ( my name ). There has been a formal complaint filed with your financial institution. All assets and active accounts are scheduled to be closing within 72 hours. If you wish to protest this case you must contact the law offices of Weiss & Associates at telephone number XXXX or press one to be connected now. '' I called my financial institution on XXXX XXXX , 2017 about the voice messages. The representative said that he did not see anything about my account closing and to report these calls to the " abuse '' department of bank. The bank was notified by email of these messages. There has been no written contact from this " firm, '' and I do not know what this is regarding. I was contacted by XXXX XXXX and he said that it was regarding some company, XXXX XXXX , and that they had sent a physical letter to my mailing address, as well as my email address. I told him I didnt know what he was talking about and asked him for his physical address. He refused to give me the address, said that they were going to finish this in court, and hung up. Upon minutes of hanging up, he contacted my sister in Texas. She didnt give him any information, she said that he shouldnt be asking for my information. He yelled at her and hung up. Later today, my sister, who lives in Utah, received a message saying that they would be freezing my assets in 72 hours.

I received phone calls from my ex brother in law ( no communication with him for 10 years ) and my ex and both stated a law firm company called stating I owed debts and they were on their way to my work to serve me papers at my work unless I called XXXX. I have received at least XXXX to XXXX calls stating my bank account is going to be frozen within XXXX hrs, numerous calls stating that I need to be home/work to be served papers between XXXX pm have ID. A XXXX says he is from XXXX XXXX process servers and will be serving me ... he does not exist with XXXX XXXX. I called and the phones were answered XXXX and XXXX. I had informed them that family was getting phone calls in regards to a so called debt and they were disclosing info to people illegally. I asked for their attorneys name and bar # ... the woman fumbled and could not give me an answer and yelled at me asking for my attys info. I asked for an address and was given a XXXX store address in XXXX, New York. This woman continuously kept putting me on hold and was agitated. I ended the call after things did n't seem right. This company goes by several different names XXXX and XXXX, Law offices of XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX. The phone numbers change XXXX, XXXX. This entity has broken almost every debt collector law there is- disclosure of a debt to others, threatening to freeze bank accounts, threatening to show up at my work to serve me unless I call the number, stating they are a law firm. I have not received any letters stating the debt, amount, and what it is for ... nor have I received a demand letter from an attorney. I XXXX this entity on tje internet and scam/fraud keeps popping up and suggests to not call this number back. I have called the State Attorney 's Office, my bank, XXXX, and my credit report. I have a couple items on my report that are XXXX XXXX XXXX ( past the statute of limitations and they are coming off my report in the next couple months ) and a couple current debts that I am taking care of. I do not see this entity on my credit report. I included a Ceist and Desist letter

a few people over the last month have called me repeatedly at work and on my cell phone claiming to be attorneys from Brownstein & Weiss Arbitration. I asked them to send me something in writing regarding the debt they claim I owe. After several requests I did finally get a vague letter on XXXX XXXX. I immediately drafted a responce to the letter to Cease and Desist and that I have no record of said debt and if they had futher documentation to please mail it to me. I did not hear anything from them for a few days and then they called and left a message indicating they were going to service me XXXX days later. I emailed a repsone to the same emailed letter indicating I have certified my dispute letter to them. I had not heard anything from them since my email on XXXX XXXX until today. So far today they have called me at work XXXX times. The woman was very rude and nasty and told me I have XXXX warrants for my arrest for charges. When I asked what this is regarding she began screaming in the phone I told her to stop calling me and if they feel I owe money to please mail me proof to the XXXX XXXX provided them. They then proceeded to call my cell phone XXXX times in a row. They have now also called a co-worker and told that personI have XXXX warrants out for my arrest and they will be picking me up if I do not call them and resolve the debt today. This is absurd and is way out of hand. I always pay my bills on time if not early. I have no records of the debt they are claiming I owe and have simply requested proof and for them to stop calling my work and cell phone. Please help

On XX/XX/2018 I was contacted by someone claiming they would be serving papers for check fraud and I needed to be at my home at a certain time of day. I was told if I was not there to be served, a warrant would be placed for my arrest for check fraud for a debt nearly 15 years old. With the holidays, I was unable to be at home during that time and was told my only other option was to sign a payment agreement. I asked for a proof of debt and was told none would be given in writing unless I was served with the papers, and that I could not request them. I asked for details about the charges they were serving papers for. The lady advised that they had me down for felony check fraud, as well as a few other things, and that the minimum sentence was at least a year served. Panicked, especially with a new baby, I consented to the signing the payment agreement without doing further research. At this time, Ive paid them around {$600.00}, and have taken steps with my bank to dispute those charges and cancel the upcoming payment of {$1200.00}. The debt in question was well beyond the statute of limitations. This was intentionally misrepresented, I was threatened with jail time, and forced to sign a document quickly to avoid being arrested. They refused to provide a proof of debt or give any additional information about the money owed to a payday loan lender. I have contacted the initial creditor, and this is NOT the company that they have authorized to collect a debt on their behalf. This IS a scam.

I was first contacted by Bronstein & Weiss Arbitration about 2 years ago about a pay day loan taken out in XXXX, Ohio by a woman who had the same name. They called the home of my elderly parents and were rude and threatened to serve me papers at their address. The papers were never served. A few months after that the abusive phone calls started again. This time they were calling my parents and my cell phone leaving messages that they would come serve me at my job. In XX/XX/XXXX they contacted my parents again and called my cell phone. When I answered the man on the line was extremely rude telling me to pay what I owe and that because of Trumps presidency he could speak to me in any tone of voice. The man hung up on me. After calling and being hung up on 3-4 more times I finally got a person on the phone. We compared information and determined that I was not the account holder. The social security number, address, date of birth, and place of employment were different from mines. Fast-forward to XX/XX/XXXX and I am still receiving threatening phone calls to my parents home and my cell phone. I have asked for documentation but of course I haven't gotten any because this person lives in Ohio and I live in Georgia. They have threatened to come to my job but I don't work at XXXX XXXX in Ohio. They are scarring my parents and causing my problems at work because they keep calling my cell phone.

I have been receiving threatening phone calls and voice mails looking for a person with a similar last name to mine, but for debt owed and legal action.. and court dates. I tried calling back several times Im the past to tell them to stop calling me they have the wrong number and person. They attempt to question me in a very aggressive manner demanding if I know this person. Today I called back I was annoyed and I was asking to please be taken off the lady ( XXXX ) said this isnt a list, I told her well u have the wrong person please stop calling me she stated I dont like your attitude your phone number is public record and hung up on me. I called again and asked to speak to a supervisor and spoke to a XXXX I asked again to speak to a supervisor, he stated he was, I told him oncev again to take my number off and that his agents were severely rude and hung up on me.. He began yelling at me, I told him thats fine I was going to speak to a lawyer today regarding a different matter but that I was going to mention this harassment.. he stated screaming I hope you do!! Its people like you that ... and I couldnt make out the rest and he said Your life is insignificant. XXXX XXXX received a threatening phone message from XXXX XXXX claiming to be from XXXX XXXX stating that I had committed fraud and they were contacting me regarding a check. She mentioned my bank. ( I have the recorded message ) I researched company number and found XXXX and Weiss Arbitration listed. I also found complaints and scams identified with this company. XXXX XXXX received calls from XXXX friends and my brother stating they had received threatening call/message from XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX about a fraudulent check from me. She mentioned my bank on the messages to them and with XXXX person stated that that friend could be charged with fraud if she did n't make me contact them. ( I have XXXX recorded message ) XXXX XXXX, I called the number left by XXXX XXXX and stated that I was recording any communication and to call me back. XXXX XXXX around XXXX am, XXXX XXXX called and asked " How can I help you? ". I stated that she had requested I contact her and what was it regarding. She first stated it was for a check with my bank. Then she stated it was a creditor. I questioned dates and amounts. I did not identify with the debt and asked her to mail me statements of the debt. She emailed a statement to me but I have not received a physical statement or proof of the debt.

This is basically started from a previous complaint # XXXX I filed, at that time I thought it was XXXX XXXX, but it was n't. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX my girlfriend got a phone call from a lady named XXXX XXXX from phone number XXXX, in reference to me XXXX XXXX XXXX, this lady proceeded to tell my girlfriend that if I did n't resolve this matter, that they would turn it over to the District Attorney and have me arrested. At that point she called me and told me I needed to get to her house and talk to this woman, at which point I did. She told me that she had been contacted and had this matter turned over to her, funny thing is this is the same company that I talked to before. Incidentally she had told the whole story about this to my girlfriend and stated they would have me arrested if I did n't resolve it today. I talked to her on my girlfriends phone ( XXXX ) for approximately XXXX minutes, she told that I could be arrested because I had sent a check, which I never did and had created fraud against this Payday loan Company ( XXXX ), I basically was forced to sign a document under duress that I would make this matter be paid from my debit card, as they would no longer accept any checks from me. In XXXX, I was contacted by Bronstein and Weiss Arbitration about a payday loan I owed of about XXXX dollars. I was willing to pay, as I am not arguing the loan. After making an initial payment, and XXXX other, I was unable to make the folowing ones because of income. The deb collector contacted me, threatening to " Contact the DA and to have legal and criminal action taken against me ''. I paid another amount and got a receipt, which has my name spelled wrong ( it 's attached ). When I confronted them and asked them for an email or letter regarding the debt and how much I owed, they said they could n't do anything besides the initial deal made between the XXXX of us. They would n't even send me a letter confirming the debt, or anything about it. XXXX weeks ago they contacted me for the last XXXX dollars, threatening again, legal and criminal action. XXXX XXXX XXXX said that his " lead attorney '' was willing to go to court and have criminal action charged. When I asked to speak to the lead attorney, he dodged around and even asked " Ca n't your parents just pay for you? ". He said if I do not pay by XXXX that they would have to press criminal charges.

I continuously receive calls from a companies ( the name and number change each time ) with the scam stating that I owe a debt and they 're filling charges with the courts for felony check fraud if I do n't pay them money. They call my work, my husband, my family, my mother-in-law, my husband 's ex-wife and others. I told them not to call my work or anyone else and to serve or send me with papers verifying the debt. They wo n't even tell me what the debt is. That is why I know it 's a scam ... That and the fact that this has been happening for years now and still have not ever received any verification. I 'm tired of being harassed. The latest call to my mother-in-law was from a place called Bronstein XXXX XXXX from XXXX. My husband received a voicemail from an unknown number to call back at XXXX. The guy said that court papers were being delivered to my work and home for failure to comply. He did not mention his name or the company 's name. My husband saved the voicemail.

XX/XX/2018 -Bronstein & Weiss contacted friend -Company said they were a law. They said they've been trying to get in touch with me about a pending lawsuit in XXXX County that's being filed by Friday. They left a phone number, case file number, and extension. XX/XX/2018 -I called Bronstein & Weiss -They claimed I owed {$680.00} and would accept debit card payment. They sent over a single page contract. XX/XX/2018 XXXX XXXX -Bronstein & Weiss contacted mother -Company left a voicemail claiming to be a law firm stating that I owed {$680.00} and was going to recieve a {$38.00} fine if I didn't pay by XXXX XXXX that day. XX/XX/2018 -I contacted Bronstein & Weiss -I requested that they stop contacting others about my debt. They said they would talk with their head attorney. They gave me their address of XXXX XXXX XXXX once asked. They attempted to send a single page contract again that I never signed.

They claimed that their ready to sue me. They did not specify the amount of money that was owed. I asked the caller to send me documentation via mail and asked for their law office license number, but the caller refused to provide me with the information. Additionally, before I was even contacted personally, my Mom, XXXX sisters, brother in law, and my brother in laws mother were called ( I do n't even have his mother phone number ). They threatened that I would be prosecuted if I did n't contact them immediately. I again received another phone call on XXXX/XXXX/17 and a voice message was left threatening that I would be prosecuted if I did n't return their call.

For the past two days I have gotten a call from XXXX from a woman who claims to be named XXXX XXXX who says she is calling from the litigation department XXXX ( maybe Weiss ) Law Offices who says I am under investigation for finances and that they intend to prosecute me in court for damages and compensation. They said they have already filed a citation in court, but that if I call, we can resolve this matter without going any further to avoid any criminal charges. They identify me by name and the county I live in but offer no other information about me nor any information about what this matter is about. I have received this call twice in the past two days, XXXX via voice mail. I have no idea who this is nor can I get any information on the phone number or am I sure this is a real law firm.

For the past few months, they have been calling my work, and personal phone # 's and leaving threatening messages, all of which I still have on my voicemail. They have said that they will serve me with papers if I do n't return their call within a certain amount of time. I have never spoke to them, as I know they are a fraudulent company. They call from a spoof # locally, however they leave several different numbers to call them back on. ( XXXX, etc area codes ). I just want them to stop contacting me completely, especially at work. I have sent them a cease and desist letter via the XXXX in New York. Within the letter, I demanded they stop contacting me and to send proof of this " so-called '' debt in writing to my home address via usps. They have not responded, as of this date.

The calls were from XXXX. The name I was given was XXXX XXXX. They were starting they working with the XXXX district attorneys office and have issued subpoenas and have warrants for my arrest for a unpaid debt for toll roads. I did get suckered into paying over {$400.00} dollars to XXXX that I will have to dispute with my bank. They were extremely aggressive and were pretending to be part of the XXXX Police department as well. I was finally able to get in touch with one of the XXXX detectives and he was able to run my background ( found nothing ) and then attempted to contact these scammers and they would not talk to him and started to hide and not answer their calls or mine. They did have a lot of information about me but they had all my old info from prior to my move.

Bronstein & Weiss keeps calling me saying I am on a complaint list of several federal charges and they want to talk to me to stop papers from being filed against me. They have had a " server '' call and leave messages for me to be available between XXXX & XXXX so they can serve me papers. I have asked repeatedly for them to stop calling me at work. They continue. I have asked for information and they demand I give them my personal information for them to verify. I was robbed and my personal information was stolen so I have no idea if the debt they say they have is legitimate. Regardless, they have been asked to stop calling me at work. They have not sent any kind of paperwork to show what they are trying to collect for.

Person said he was law official ready to pick me up tomorrow, papers have been filed with XXXX county and will be arrested at my work place. I called back the number and asked why the phone calls to my parents, my work and myself today. Person on phone was rude and put me on hold, I waited 5 minutes and no one return. It looks to be a scam for debt collections, if so I was willing to pay as for I am in process of clearing all my debt and have 2 left on my account. I am not sure if its the account, but they would not even give me a choice to ask why they are calling me. They threaten my dad that if I don't call by XXXX today, all prosecution will take place. I have the recording they sent to my work too.

This was not a loan I took out but someone did in my name. I paid it off b/c I was being threatened with lawsuits and arrest. They knew too much information and I work in a position where I couldn't have someone just show up - so decided it was best to pay it off and then figure it out from there. I am still getting calls from this number XXXX, from a XXXX XXXX, saying they will be at my place of residence or work tomorrow, XX/XX/18 between the hours of 2-4 and if I can't be found would look for my ford focus. They are claiming to be from XXXX XXXX County Courts and it's part of state statue. I called over to the XXXX XXXX County PD and XXXX XXXX County court and no one with that name works there.

Keep leaving messages that they are going to prosecute a lawsuit for full compensation along with punitive damages. I have not ideal what this is for. I was fighting one with XXXX for a credit card from XX/XX/XXXX that I did n't have nor can they prove I had it other than having my social security number and date of birth. I believe there was some fraud under my name during this time. I can not file a police report because they will not give me proof. No application, signature or purchase transaction. As well, since it was XX/XX/XXXX, ant this is XX/XX/XXXX I believe this is well over the 10 years a collector can collect on a debt.

I received a phone call this morning XXXX XXXX from XXXX Law Office from a person calling himself XXXX XXXX. He claimed that I had a class action suit being filed against me regarding a debt with XXXX XXXX XXXX stating that it was a time sensitive situation on my voicemail. This man called my mom, XXXX sisters, brother in law and his mother ( I do n't even have her phone number ). I asked several times for law license number and he refused to give it to me, and I also asked for him to send the claim in writing to the address that he had on file. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he refused and ended the phone call.

Approx XX/XX/17 is when this started. XXXX would call 10-15 times a day. in XX/XX/2017 I stated getting calls from Weiss and associates at my place of employment. In XXXX when I returned to work after the break there was 10 messages. I called them back they threatened criminal charges if I did not provide them a checking debit card to make payment arrangements. I asked them to send it in writing and told them I wasn't going to provide my debit card information. They said it was that or a prepaid debit card but that was my only option. They continue to call daily and block their number so it appears as unknown.

I received an Unknown / Blocked phone call today. It had no number and I let it go to voicemail. I listened to the voicemail stating that I was being served papers for something, that i had to be at my house or work between XXXX tomorrow. If I had immediate questions contact the Weiss Law Offices. I called and the person on the other line could not validate my information. They started yelling at me saying that they will take everything I own, including my children. Not once, did they even state that they were a debt collector, which should have been stated from the voicemail to the phone call.

Both myself, family members, and employer have received threatening phone calls from Weiss and Associates stating I will be arrested in 72 hours. I contacted the original creditor and the authorized debt collector who informed they have no affiliation with Weiss and Associates. Their persistent harassment has upset me and my family. A woman from what she stated as XXXX XXXX XXXX has been calling multiple family members, some of which are in-laws saying I am in litigation and they are issuing an affidavit. I do n't know of any loans and none of the family members would be on my financials for a legitimate debt collector to even be abiding by the Fair Credit Act.
