I have an ongoing unaddressed problem with Bonded Collections Of Rice Lake WI. The problem is they have two judgments against me which is not in dispute. They are reporting 5 collection accounts and two judgments are appearing on my credit report. This is not a violation I understand this. My complaint is that the collection accounts which Bonded Collections are reporting is already doing damage to my credit score in the 2013 judgment. You see this is because the 2013 judgment amount is made up from four of the five collection accounts which Bonded reports to the credit bureaus every month. I have complained about this three times to the CFPB my last complaint where I actually point out this anomaly (how a single account is lowering my credit score more than once) Has gone without being addressed by Bonded Collections, I feel this is because they now understand the problem I am having and they know this appears to be a violation. My last Complaint ID is XXXX I have written to the BBB and they had me contact the XXXX this was the response i was given. XXXX, XXXX XXXX - XXXX To XXXX XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX: The division is in receipt of your complaint regarding your credit report and the "double" reporting of the accounts being collected by Bonded Collections of Rice Lake, Inc. While this office does not regulate credit reporting activities, we can tell you how this "double reporting" occurs. However, we cannot assist you in getting the double reporting removed. The collection agency has an account or multiple accounts for a debtor and reports those accounts according to their agreement with the original creditor. If the account is not paid, the collection agency may recommend to the client that they secure a judgment on the accounts. A judgment is awarded by the courts and the judgment becomes a public record. The credit bureaus search the public records and retrieve the information on any new judgments filed to include that information in their credit reports, thus, "double reporting" of the same accounts. The reporting of the judgments is not done by the collection agencies. Neither of these activities are illegal, yet the result would appear to violate the FCRA. We will be making contact the Federal Trade Commission to see if I can get a response to what they think about such a situation. If we receive a response, I will certainly provide you with that information. While we are unable to assist you with your immediate complaint, I will forward your complaint to Bonded Collections of Rice Lake Inc so that they can provide their response. We will contact you again once we have received that response. If you have any questions, please contact me directly. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX, Examiner XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX WI XXXX XXXX - phone XXXX - fax Find us on XXXX! ***I sent one reply to this before they forwarded my complaint*** Thank you for the response I do understand that the "double reporting" is not a violation - My concern is Only that the reporting is doing "double Damage" to my credit score per single account- The reporting is no longer in dispute only that the damage is being done more than once per account- I know this is not the crime of the century but like i said I believe Bonded to be most likely doing this to every person they have a default judgment against and are unfairly lowering the credit score of many people- Thank you for your time- XXXX You will see I have attached a link to XXXX XXXX where it clearly says 3 accounts are damaging my credit score 1 collection and 2 public records yet the one collection is part of the public record therefore the same account is lowering my credit score two times. This is from XXXX XXXX actually shows 5 collection account (which are part of the same public record) I have had 3 of the four collections deleted from my XXXX report, this is why they are not the same. I hope to hear from Bonded and From the XXXX and the CFPB regarding this issue soon. Or at the least This company and this reporting practice needs to be investigated. Thank you very much.

The problem with bonded collection 's reporting is that they are reporting COLLECTION ACCOUNTS that have gone to JUDGMENT in XXXX They are reporting these accounts as OPEN and not reflecting that these accounts are INCLUDED in the XXXX JUDGMENT This is having a NEGATIVE IMPACT on my credit report TWO TIMES for the SAME ACCOUNT. This has been going on since the judgment in XXXX - This is also why it appears that ( On my credit report ) I owe {$13000.00} and bonded 's bills is for {$11000.00} ( and this amount is including two accounts that are old and have fallen off of my credit report ) And still the amount Bonded is asking for is lower than the amount that is affecting my credit score ) In my last complaint XXXX you will see this company FAILED to address why the amounts on my credit report are higher than the amount they are asking for. Because they have been reporting it as open and not reflecting that these accounts are included in the XXXX JUDGMENT. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXl Ask CFPB Credit reports and scores UPDATED XX/XX/XXXX Some of my debts are listed multiple times on my credit report. What should I do?

If the same debt is listed multiple times ( possibly with different names ) you should dispute the multiple listings with the credit reporting agency and the original creditor or furnisher that provided the information to the credit reporting agency. A multiple listing is not a harmless error. It will likely lower your credit score and lead lenders to give you loan offers with higher interest rates and less favorable terms.

I would also like to at this time address the SLANDEROUS accusations made by XXXX XXXX in his companies previous response. Number 1. At no time have i said that i quote " Am not interested in paying '' this alleged debt '' I did however express that I wont be paying while there is inconsistencies in the amount being reported by the credit bureaus and the amount being request by Bonded. Number 2. I was not warned " Multiple times '' about profanity. I did at one time say something was XXXX and was told that the call was a business call and I had to remind XXXX that this to me is a Personal call and that I am not the one at work he was. I know the calls are recorded by bonded and hope they are kept as record so that he may review them and see I never said I had no interest in paying anything.

I hope the team at Bonded Collections understands That I am not trying to do anything other than report the facts and my side of the situation when I send these complaints to CFPB. I would be happy to speak with their company but they have already started to lean towards accusing me of excessive profanity and I 'm sure " Harassment '' will be the next accusation made because I am seeking answers to my questions. The team at bonded has already stated " they feel the mater has been addressed '' and I obviously feel it has not been. So i do n't see any reason to contact them directly at this time. I also feel like Bonded is not interested in being paid and They are only interested in doing as much damage to my credit report as possible even if that means listing accounts as open when they should be listed as changed to judgment. They are not reporting the correct TradeLine and are reporting old and outdated information from before the Judgment in XXXX. Please note This is probably going to be my last CFPB complaint about this issue. I just want to get a bit more clarification on some of the aforementioned questions and concerns before moving this matter forward.

Every other person besides the team at bonded that I have spoken to ( Including multiple staff members at the CFPB ) have said that a collection account is not allowed to impact your credit score more than once.

Bonded Collections Of Rice Lake WI is reporting to the credit bureaus the same accounts that are included in a judgment they have against me. This is making it appear as though I have More derogatory remarks than I really should have. This is proven when looking at my recent credit report from XXXX and XXXX XXXX because the amount that these bureaus are reporting is significantly higher that the amount that Bonded is requesting that i pay them. The amounts are as follows XXXX has the accounts totaled at {$13000.00} ( this report is also a couple month earlier than the latest bill from bonded i have received and does not include the incurred interest ) and YET it is still higher than the amount of {$11000.00} that bonded is showing that I owe. The ONLY explanation of this occurring is because Bonded is knowing reporting collection accounts that they know are included in the XX/XX/XXXX judgment account. I have followed the steps recommended by this website and brought this matter to the attention of Bonded and the credit bureaus. Account number XXXX is included in the judgment account numbered XXXX I have been able to have the smaller amounts included in this judgment removed from two of the credit bureaus but not XXXX at this time account number XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX have been deleted by XXXX and XXXX because of online disputes reason Inaccurate information but at this time Bonded is refusing to admit that account numbered XXXX is also included in the judgment and is fighting to keep it double listed on my credit reports. They are reporting it as two separate accounts at this time. Making extra derogatory remarks appear on my credit reports. XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Ask CFPB Credit reports and scores UPDATED XX/XX/XXXX Some of my debts are listed multiple times on my credit report. At this time I am including copies of My XXXX and XXXX reports from earlier this year as you can see if you add the amounts of the accounts Bonded is reporting it is significantly higher that the amount on the most recent itemized bill they sent me on XX/XX/XXXX - Which again can only be possible if the same accounts are being reported to the credit bureaus more than once. Also as a side note When I called they were very rude to me. I told the lady answering the phone that i had concerns regarding inaccurate information and her first words out of her mouth were " Are you going to make a payment arrangement? '' As if i was going to pay them while these glaring conflicting amounts between what they are reporting and what they are asking for is unsettled. I was also told by the ceo XXXX XXXX that my personal life ( meaning the fact they are messing up my credit reports knowingly reporting inaccurate information was " Just Business '' to him.
