I keep receiving letters stating I owe {$41000.00} in sales tax to the state of Ohio. The letters are from the law firm of XXXX XXXX, who claims to be XXXX XXXX of what I do not know. Every time I've called to clear this up nobody answers the phone and multiple voicemails have been left with no reply.
As for the debt, the only time I have ever lived in Ohio was the 90 's when I went to college there. I did not have a job during that time, let alone a business. I have now lived on the XXXX XXXX over 20 years and I have never owned a business of any kind, in any state. The letters I keep receiving don't even include my name, just a XXXX XXXX and my apartment address.
Each time I have left a voicemail I have asked for them to send proof of the debt belonging to me, which is required by state law, and they have never done so. Since I have now received another letter without that being provided I consider this harassment. I have reported this firm to his states XXXX as I have found more info online indicating this is standard practice for XXXX XXXX. Just b/c he has state letterhead does not mean he can ignore collections rules.

XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Ohio XXXX, phone XXXX, has been sending me notification of a debt, but absolutely no details on the original account or the proof of claim. The Agency listed is the Department of Taxation. I contacted them and they said that I have no outstanding debts. I have refunds on all of my tax returns for the past ten years. If I owed anything, they would have seized my refund.
Bloich representatives continue to call despite my request for all communication in writing. So far they have refused to send me the documentation with a copy of the original debt and the legal documents that verify Bloich 's ownership of the debt. I can not audit a debts and verify its legality based on " Principal ... .Interest ... Amount Owed. '' I sent three requests to the Ohio Attorney General 's Office and they provided no information on XXXX XXXX 's claim. I do have zombie debts from a 16 year old chapter XXXX bankruptcy.
