I responded to a solicitation for a home refinance Blue Brick Financial sent me to me in the mail. The representative I spoke with did not make it clear that I was at risk of having to pay for the home appraisal fee if they did not go through with the loan which they now say they can not provide. The representative did not preform any due diligence on his part to research my home 's value to access beforehand if the loan to value was out of range. Also, the representative also stated several times this was a " no fee '' loan and Blue Brick Financial would refund or credit back the appraisal fee in the closing process. They never made aware that I have to pay if they do n't complete the loan process. They also charged my credit card with out my prior authorization.

I have been receiving multiple pieces of mail every week to refinance my mortgage for years. Having recently paid off my mortgage, I am no longer in need of the service and I have started calling each company to have me removed from their mailing list. Most companies have stopped sending me mail, but one still persists - Blue Brick Financial, XXXX # XXXX, CO XXXX # XXXX.

Received an advertisement in the mail from this lender that is obviously not true and not in compliance with full disclosure. They are advertising NO CLOSING COSTS. This advertisement is misleading and false, because the closing costs are built in to a higher interest rate. The consumer is still paying closing costs.
