I got an installment loan from XXXX loans in XXXX XXXX. I began making payments to the company, but, after my husband was hospitalized, I had a income declination and was unable to fulfill my debt. I emailed the company in XXXX or XXXX asking them to offer me a settlement amount. I went to my bank to get the matter resolved. I received no contact from the company. However, in XXXX XXXX, I received a call at work from a company called the XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) stating that they had the account. I asked him to NEVER call me at work again. We set up arrangements on the account and I told them that I could send the payment via money order, but, he insisted that I give him a debit/credit card number. After tirelessly arguing with him about not having a card, I discovered that I did have an old debit card from school. I told him that I would have to go to the school to load the card ... I was unable to do so because the school was on XXXX break. I informed him of that. A day later, he found a cousin-in-law via Internet and called him regarding my debt. Then, on XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX, he located my mother-in-law and did the same thing, He held a conversation with her and left a message on her cell phone on another occasion. I have never listed either of the XXXX people contacted on any application that I completed. I am not sure where they got each cell phone number from, but, the XXXX XXXX XXXX has found a way and they have been constantly calling and harassing my mother-in-law. I am wondering if there is something that can be done about this matter. The company has all of my contact information, there is no excuse. Also, the day that XXXX XXXX called me at work, I called him from my daughter 's cell phone when I got off from work. He asked me if it were ok for him to call me at that number ( must have shown up on caller-id ), I told him NO! I said this is my daughter 's phone. Nevertheless, he called a few times and left a message on her phone on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX.

This debt collection agency contacted my job. When asked why they contacted this number the rep stated because they had it on file, I spoke to this company once before and informed them only contact me on my cell phone. When i asked the rep what this call was regarding the rep did not provide information outside of " we are contacting you about a personal matter '' I asked the rep multiple times what this call is regarding because he finally told me where he is calling from and the reason he was calling. When I informed the rep that this is my work line and I can not have personal phone calls on my work phone the rep asked for a good time to call back, i took down the reps name and phone number to call back when i am available. the rep continued to asked for a specific time and day to call back. I told the rep due to my work schedule I can not provide the exact time and date. the rep then stated that he will just call me back at this number. ( after i stated i can face termination for having personal calls on the clock ) The rep hung up before clarifying a good contact number. I am very upset with the lack of professionalism. I also find it very tasteless for a company to be reaching out to collect debts when there is an entire pandemic going on that is putting people out of a job. and to show now regard by risking my job by contacting me regarding personal matters at work. the company is blackwater capital the rep is XXXX phone number XXXX

I took a payday loan at XXXX, due to financial hardship I was not able to pay them and passed on my debt to a credit collection agency. This complaint is regarding BLACK WATER CAPITAL GROUP, at first they left a voicemail saying that they were from an Attorneys office and that there is a lawsuit filed against me, And the same message my husband received from them saying theres a lawsuit being filed, they contacted my husband as well, when I called the number they told me to call it was a lady named XXXX XXXX that answered the phone, not stating the company name first, and already discussed to me that they are a credit collector and that my {$400.00} debt already had charges and I had to pay {$900.00}, they asked for my debit card no. And they said I had to pay the full amount, it was only to my realization because everything happened too fast and the scare that Im going to be sued that I agreed paying, but I dont think it is right for them to impose that high of an interest since Im already struggling and thats why I havent paid the original loan in the first place. They kept calling my husband, they would use different numbers till now.

On XX/XX/2018, I spoke with a representative from Blackwater Capital Group, by the name of XXXX XXXX. She contacted me regarding a debt owed to company called XXXX XXXX. She told me that a court case had been filed in XXXX XXXX regarding this debt. However, she told me that it could be dropped if I pay the debt immediately. We discussed a payment date of XX/XX/2018. This morning, XXXX XXXX contacted my brother regarding this debt. She gave him personal information about this debt. She told him that they were now going to file a judgement against me, this time in XXXX XXXX and that if I didn't pay this debt, they would cancel my drivers license. This is completely unacceptable. She had no reason to contact my brother, as she had my phone number and I had even given her an updated address. This violates the law. XXXX XXXX phone number is XXXX XXXX ext XXXX.

I was contected by Blackwater Capital Group sometime in winter/spring of 2017 in regards to an outstanding payday loan. This company called me at work and I returned the phone call immediately and asked them not to call my job ever again. I did not recall having this debt but I proceeded to make payment arrangements to avoid more problems with the debt. I made automatic payments every other week but I cancelled my debit card at the beginning of XXXX due to fraud issues. I spoke to XXXX XXXX and told him I would contact him soon to rearrange payments. 2 weeks went by and he has called me at work at least 5 times and the worst thing is that he contacted my ex domestic partner whom I have n't spoke to in 4 years and left a message in her cell phone describing my debt. I do not wish to be contacted by this company anymore.

I received a call from my step mother saying that a gentleman called here stating legal action would be taken if I did n't contact their office. Once I called he was telling me that I could get sued for a {$200.00} debt and legal action for a returned check. XX/XX/XXXX i got a small online payday loan and then the next day I received a XXXX one that I never asked for. The company would n't take the money back and repeatedly charged my account fee 's my bank recommend closing that account which I did I tried to dispute through the bank but I was n't able to. I was finally able to pay the bank XX/XX/XXXX for all the fee 's they charged somewhere around {$140.00} and that 's just what was overdrawn. It has been almost 7 years and this is the first time I have heard from them.
