On XX/XX/2019 I applied for a payday loan. It was granted for the sum of {$800.00}. Before I accepted the loan, I asked what was their interest rate. To compare with a couple of others I had in mind. Representative, fed me the run around, by stating interest can not be seen until she set up payment schedule. I selected to payment plan of 5 months for safety net, assured I could pay back without harming my house hold. So rep stated it would be {$240.00} for every scheduled pay day I have selected. I'm thinking only 5! So I agree to the loan.Figuring est of maybe the interest was around {$300.00} bucks. To me that's reasonable. Was told my first payment was gon na be {$150.00}. The the rest would be the {$240.00}. My first payment was due on XX/XX/XXXX. My check I deposit was clear on the XXXX. I went on website logged in and made payment for {$150.00}. That's when I saw whole picture, which I submitted in the photos. {$150.00} was broker fee and lender interest. So I looked at my payments history my balanced still read {$800.00}. ( None of that towards my principle ) So no wondering why is the no decrease towards my principle, and I Immediately called the Power Finance Texas customer service. I stated sorry for paying a day late. I said I made payment, but I notice my principle is still the same how come? She said my loan was prorated, so that was the fee. Not told this before! I also asked why does my payment schedule show 13 payments due instead of 5? Rep stated that payments of {$240.00} would be due twice a month! That's when I realized this was no life line but nightmare! 8 extra payments is and was not the agreement I said to her. So I told her I calculated 13 x 's {$240.00} it came to {$3100.00}!!! On a {$800.00} loan!!!! I said I don't feel it's fair I got ta pay back almost triple what I borrowed. How {$800.00} get to {$3100.00}? She said the fees are added every day by {$16.00} and some cents per until day the loan is paid off in entirely. I said if you would have told me that at first I certainly wouldn't have agreed to taking a loan from you. I told her this was my first loan, and certainly the last. Because true stipulatIons was I felt withheld. Website stated lower amount per {$100.00}. Couldn't just take the highway robbery, so I came to report which to me feels like entrapment! I more worse off than when I started!!! HELP!!!

Power Finance Texas opened a " Payday Loan '' In my name without my permission. Power Finance Texas LLC, Did not verify the information on my credit file before approving said loan, and then Power Finance Texas proceeded to fund someone elses checking account. I have tried contacting them several times, and I do not receive any response. Power Finance Texas falsely accused me of receiving said loan, I have extended fraud alerts on my credit file, and they state that the company must first CONTACT ME before approving any loans because I am a victim of identity theft. Power Finance Texas did NOT contact me and went ahead and approved this loan for someone else, yet charged me for the loan. I can not access this account, nor can I retrieve the credentials because it's tied to information that doesn't match mine. It sends a text to some phone number ending in 1921 which again I do not own. That's not my phone number. Additionally I can not retrieve the email address that they stated was used " XXXX '' Because this is not my email address and it's not tied to my information. Power Finance Texas additionally sent these funds to a bank account with some company that I do not own. I had a report pulled, and It showed this is a XXXX XXXX account, This account was closed for Identity Fraud, and I do not own the account, nor do I have access to any funds in the account because it's closed due to Identity Fraud. Power Finance Texas sent these loan 's proceeds to someone elses account, and opened the account without my knowledge or consent and they refuse to do anything about it.

I have an existing loan with Power Finance. I received an email on XX/XX/2021 stating : Borrow more money today! Need more money? Refinance today! You have an additional {$98.00} available to you! The email provided a log into my account option. Once there, however, there was no tool to take advantage of the additional funds. I called. The message stated the office was closed for the holiday. I received another email today ( XX/XX/2021 ) stating : Borrow more money today! Need more money? Refinance today! You have an additional {$74.00} available to you! Again, the email provided a log into my account again ; and again, there was no tool to take advantage of the additional funds. I called. The message stated the office was closed for the holiday. So, there were two offers, but no tool available to take advantage of the offer and the telephone message stated the office was closed for the holiday. I went ahead and reapplied for a {$100.00} loan and was approved. The problem with taking this step is that my bi-weekly payment is now increased from what it was. If the online option had been available as was implied, my payment would not have increased since it was a simple increase to the loan 's bottomline based on the amount I had already paid off.

Power Finance Texas seems to call my phone occasionally and leave voicemails. All I hear on the voicemail is this is " Power Finance texas resolution department XXXX '' Please call our resolutions department to discuss your account. I do not have any account 's with Power Finance Texas. Not sure why they are calling me. This account was opened due to identity theft, I did not receive any loan proceeds. The Employer this company has is invalid. That's not my employer. The company also attempted to charge a debit card that was closed also due to fraud. I do not have the email they have on file " XXXX '' This email was hacked as a result of identity theft. XXXX has been notified, and this email was found in a breach on the dark web per my identity alerts. I do not accept responsibility for a loan I did not apply for, I did not sign for, and I did not approve or receive. I should not be responsible for something I didn't receive. I do not know who received it. I will not be answering calls from anyone I do not know, and I will not validate any information with this company as I am not responsible for this account. I did not approve the application, I did not apply and I did not sign anything.

I received an email to an address I rarely use from Power Finance saying they were not able to grant me a loan. It included a Notice of Adverse Action that did not contain any of my information. I never applied for a loan with them and when I responded to the email they wanted me to call and give them my personal information because they could not pull up any account associated with my email address. Of course they can look up the application/account by the email address but they wanted to get more of my personal information. I responded again pointing out that it was them who contacted me and it is absurd they can not pull up an account via the email address. I received a response from someone there stating the name listed on the application ( yet not the XXXX ) was not mine and since it was not in my name they would refuse to provide any information. Clearly they are using the bogus XXXX 's as either a marketing scheme or a phishing scheme to get XXXX from unsuspecting people. The email address they sent the bogus XXXX to is XXXX I have attached their " XXXX '' It is very clearly missing information required by XXXX

I received a text message advising that Power Finance accepted my loan request. I tried to call them to report fraud and advise that I never applied. I could not get to anyone and they advised they would charge me to speak to a supervisor. I receive a name of XXXX to speak with, left her a voice mail on XX/XX/XXXX with no return call. Then on Monday XX/XX/XXXX I receive another solicitation asking if I could finalize my loan. I advised them that this was fraud, I never applied, and that they should remove any application they have under my name or social security number. She advised she would note my file accordingly. Today XX/XX/XXXX I received another call asking if I wanted to finalize my loan. Not only in this fraud, but it is continuous. How do I get to the bottom of this, so no loans can be taken out in my name?

My original loan ( Account # XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) ) was scheduled to be paid off XX/XX/XXXX. When I logged into their website, it was advertised that I could " Skip a Payment ''. Which I elected to do, XX/XX/XXXX. As it was near XXXX, I thought this would be beneficial for my family. It turns out that skipping a payment meant refinancing. Which was an option I've declined several times. Since then a new line of credit was opened for {$480.00} and now I'm stuck in this same rabbit hole, with a payoff date in XX/XX/XXXX. This company is extremely unethical and misleading when providing payment options to it's customers. I did speak with XXXX with the resolutions department, and she was of no help to me.

I borrowed {$800.00} from this company. I have paid {$700.00} ( {$130.00} first month, {$530.00} second month ) I called the company today and my balance is still {$800.00}. The company is charging me $ XXXX monthly to renew, not repay the loan. My payments are not being applied to the principal. I have spoken to a customer service representative and she stated that I agreed to the terms, so I must pay it. She offered no payment assistance, despite the fact that they just received {$530.00} The fine print of this contract is buried in numerous disclosures. The fees attached to this loan are horrendous. I was not informed that my payments of {$530.00}. XXXX are actually loan renewals.

On XX/XX/2019, I borrowed {$300.00} from a company called Power Finance Texas. I expected my payments to be a small monthly loan amount, as they told me my payments would be roughly {$67.00} a month. Shortly after making my first payment, I was then bamboozled with the information that I had to pay an additional {$200.00} and something dollars a month for my loan for a number of months. According to their documents, I would have to pay them a total of over {$1000.00} for this meager {$300.00} loan. Looking at the more than 700 % interest or APR, I feel this is predatory lending at it's worst. I also used my sister and her husband, who is retired military, as references.

I would like to see if Power Finance is following the rules and regulations of payday loan practices. I borrowed {$610.00} back in XX/XX/XXXX, I get paid every two weeks and have been paying them {$180.00} every paycheck and will end in XX/XX/XXXX. 13 payments at {$180.00}. The estimated cost to pay everything is {$2400.00}. So, I am paying roughly a little over {$1800.00} for a {$610.00} loan. Its horrible. The loans provided by this provider are predatory in nature and take advantage of low income households. Their loans are outrageously expensive. A {$700.00} installment loan paid back on time over the course of 6 months will cost {$2800.00}. How is an APR this high allowed by law. Or is it even allowed? It is not clearly stated in their advertisement for loan services. Make of it what you will.
