On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, I visited your XXXX XXXX because I got an invoice from my insurance company saying that my homeowner insurance was not paid by Bethpage. I met with the assistant manager XXXX XXXX who assured me that he will make sure my insurance is paid from my escrow account since it was escrowed since the day of closing. From my understanding, a check was sent on XX/XX/XXXX to my insurance company and XXXX provided me with a XXXX tracking number which I ended uncovering was not valid. I called my insurance company on XX/XX/XXXX and then XXXX to let him know that the tracking number was wrong. He called me the same day and gave me me a totally different tracking number. This check was supposed was supposed to be overnighted but it was sent to their XXXX XXXX XXXX which I had to also bring to his attention. No one from Bethpage took the time to call my insurance company to see if they can get XXXX XXXX address. I did not hear from anyone from Bethpage at this point so I called my insurance company again on XX/XX/XXXX and they informed me that they did not receive payment. I reached out to XXXX again who told me that he needed to do further research before he can tell me what happened. I did not hear from him that day so I reached out again on XX/XX/XXXX to let him know that it now has been almost 2 weeks and I still had not heard anything from Bethpage. He responded that Bethpage is aware of the severity of the issue and they are working on it. This whole time, I was checking the tracking number that continued to say the check was in transit. I decided to call XXXX myself and to my surprise, they told me that the check was sent back to Bethpage on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX and someone by the name of XXXX signed for it. I was so upset at this point that I had more information than your own employee XXXX. His response was that you do not handle these transactions in the branches but he will have someone check with the mailroom to see where the check is. Later on that day, he shocked me with more embarrassing news which is that the XXXX tracking number that I was referencing was of a label that was shredded by an employee whom realized that the address was a XXXX XXXX XXXX and that the check was actually sent via USPS priority mail and was delivered to my insurance company on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX. I had to ask him for the new tracking number and information on where it was sent as my insurance company still had no record and that my policy was canceling on XX/XX/XXXX. Through further back and forth, the check had to be canceled by Bethpage because the insurance company said that since it was sent to a XXXX XXXX XXXX it would not reach them in time and that I should send it to a street address that I was provided with so it can be overnighted to prevent further delinquency. A new check was now sent to a local broker for my insurance company on XXXX. I waited again hoping to just hear that this check finally made it to my policy. I now was provided with a new XXXX number which I checked on XXXX and noticed that it was delayed ( again ). I reached out to XXXX to ask if anyone was checking on this check because he never proactively called me or emailed me. XXXX offered me the option to process a new check to my local broker who had to go pick it up from your branch, on his own time. On XX/XX/XXXX, the check ended up being returned due to " insufficient funds ''. Again, I had to call my insurance myself to find out this info. Sadly, to this date, I called both my broker and my insurance company, and no one has record of this check. XXXX told me that the last check should have cleared electronically with no issues but my insurance company is insisting that they were not able to process this check electronically. XXXX 's newest solution is for him to process a new check ( again ) and send it to my insurance company except that he sent it for the wrong amount since now my premium included penalties. This is truly the definition of insanity!! He is doing the same thing over and over and over again. How do we know that the new check is not going to be returned for the same reason?

XXXX XXXX after COVID-19 pandemic, I was furloughed and unable to pay the mortgage. I reached out for assistance and was given a forbearance plan. I returned to work, contacted the mortgage company and asked if the amount of forbearance could be placed on the back of the mortgage. At that point they informed me that they do not do that and told me that the full amount was due right away. At that point I set up a re-payment plan, paying the regular monthly mortgage payment and an additional amount. It wasn't long before I was financially strapped again. I tried to refinance the mortgage, I paid for an appraisal, submitted paperwork, only to never hear back from the mortgage company. Then I received a letter claiming that I never submitted the paperwork for the refi. Over the course of the next year, I tried catching up with payments, speaking to the mortgage company about different options, but received little to no help from them. I also noticed that each time I called and spoke to a different representative I was given conflicting information from the previous representative that I had spoken to. Around XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke to a representative ( I believe his name was XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and he informed me that this was occurring to a lot of people and to not worry as he said I was eligible for a program that would take all past due amount, apply it towards the end of the mortgage, which would then bring me current. He stated that he would send out paperwork and all I had to do was sign it, notarize it and send it back. After waiting weeks and not receiving anything, I once again called, spoke to another representative and once again was given conflicting information say that program was no longer available and that person would not have known if I was even approved. At this point, they told me that the best option was a loan modification and that they would send out the paperwork that I needed to complete. Once again, I completed the said paperwork and returned it, only to be told they never received it. Within a week or two, I was served notice that I was in foreclosure from the banks attorney. I called the banks attorney and left a message. To this date, I have yet to receive a call back from them. On XX/XX/XXXX, the mortgage company sent me a statement showing the amount I owed to bring the mortgage current, up to XX/XX/XXXX, including attorney fees. Fear of loosing my home, I was able to come up with the full amount due. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called the mortgage company and sent up a payment for the full amount due, which funds were in my bank account of the bank that holds the mortgage. After noticing that the funds did not come out of my account, I called the mortgage company to inquire. At this point, I was told that they would not accept payment this way and that I was to submit a certified check, even though the funds were in the same bank that held the mortgage. I went to the bank, received at certified check in the full amount due as we were advised by a representative over the phone and sent it out to the mortgage company that same day. They received this check on XX/XX/XXXX and advised that it could take up to XXXX weeks to process the payment. After calling multiple times over the next XXXX weeks to finally get this resolved, we were then advised that we needed a reinstatement letter ( this was never previously mentioned ) and also told that the person who gave us the amount due over the phone should not have done that because we were into another month and the amount changed ( month changed after the received full payment ). I argued that I have been trying to pay them since XX/XX/XXXX and was told its not their problem. At this point, the bank is returning the certified check and charging us more attorney fees. We have still not received a reinstatement letter and now on top of everything, I am forced to take a day off from work and go to court to fight this foreclosure. Even though I have made multiple attempts to pay all money owed.

I had a XXXX plan with my ex husband. He removed his line and the account was under his name. XXXX wouldn't speak with me when i wanted to upgrade my service because my name is not on the account and I tried going into the store, calling customer service and a manager. They advised all i can do is remove my number ( this was around end of XXXX XXXX ). The card on file was my card since my line was active and they did not allow me to remove my card or cancel automatic payments. I went to XXXX and they took my line out of XXXX and it was officially XXXX. When this happens- XXXX is made aware that I no longer have service with them and that it is canceled because they give XXXX the code to transfer the line. XXXX continued to bill me for XXXX, XXXX and XXXX because my card was on file for automatic payments. They would not allow me to remove it, they wouldn't speak with me and they were billing me for a line that is no longer with them. My cell phone number is XXXX and it was no longer XXXX. XXXX advised it is considered cancelled with XXXX and that were was nothing i needed to do. I walked into a XXXX store yesterday and they advised as well when a line is removed it is considered cancelled since there are no lines on the account- XXXX is billing me for no reason and these funds are sitting for no reason. They also advised since my name isn't on the account they can not call XXXX or do anything further with the account. I called bethpage federal credit union and they put me in as cancelled. I mentioned XXXX and XXXX should be non receipt since i am being billed for something they are no providing me. They kept me in as canceled with XXXX even after knowing the situation. They then came back and said merchant stated the charge is valid so per fraud you are being billed again. Customer service was rude and didn't even verify my password on the account when i called. I asked for the documentation to be sent to me and that has not been sent and its been a week. I asked for a manager to call me back, they said 48 hours but i didn't get a call back will a week later ( 5 business days later ). They didn't even acknowledge the fact they are calling me after the deadline they stated that are their procedures. She kept saying according to reg e its valid and i keep telling her if XXXX wont speak with me and i no longer have their service its not authorized and i asked if the documents were sent out and she said she will ask the customer service rep ( how a manager does not know if documents were requested or mailed out that i requested is beyond my understanding, not sure why it wouldn't be documented ). I advised i am not authorizing these and she said well since you authorized it originally it is your responsibility- but if XXXX wont speak with me and wont let me cancel then not sure how I can handle it. When i asked to speak to her manager she advised if one is available they will call me- so i asked if they aren't available then what.. and she said she would call me and let me know, but no one called me back yesterday. I did not authorize these charges, from customer service to management- they are unprofessional. They mishandled my case and refuse to acknowledge it. Have not sent me what i requested and could not even acknowledge if it was requested. They are beating around the bush and no one calls me back. I want my credit {$90.00} x 3 ( {$250.00} total ) back to my account since I did not authorize these charges and i want proof from XXXX that they are billing me for a service that they are speaking to me and for an account/line that is still active with them. XXXX stating i did not cancel with them is not what my dispute was about and technically according to XXXX and XXXX store it is considered canceled when i switched over the XXXX.

I am seeking help with resolving fraudulent charges by XXXX XXXX from my Bethpage credit union checking account. On XX/XX/23 XXXX ( XXXX ) separate transactions of {$180.00} were debited frommy account by XXXX XXXX. I contacted the Bethpage Dispute Department to report the fraudulent charges. They advised they would refund the monies and investigate the charges. In addition to the fraudulent charges, I was penalized with XXXX ( XXXX ) courtesy pay fees of {$10.00} each and an overdraft fee of {$29.00}. On XX/XX/23 Bethpage credited my account XXXX ( XXXX ) charges in the amounts of XXXX each. On XX/XX/23 Bethpage debited my checking account XXXX ( XXXX ) charges of {$180.00} and an overdraft fee of {$85.00} from my savings account.I contacted Bethpage today XX/XX/23 about the debits on my accounts and was told that they completed their investigations and the charges by XXXX XXXX were verified and substantiated therefore the monies have been debited from my accounts and I take the loss. Beth page informed me that the XXXX XXXX activities were to XXXX. I know no one in XXXX and authorized no XXXX XXXX transactions.Appalling to me is that Bethpage has no explanation on why there were no safeguards in place to protect my monies. After XXXX transactions of the same amount within the same timeframe, there ought to have been some red flags to shut down my accounts or verify the transaction with me. Instead, Bethpage allowed XXXX transactions for {$180.00} to be deducted from my account and unapologetically state this is unfortunate for me. I placed my monies in Bethpage thinking they had safeguards and insurance to protect my small assets.Incidentally on XX/XX/23, the same activities by XXXX XXXX were done to my XXXX XXXX account. XXXX transaction of {$180.00} went through and a hold was placed on my account when another attempt to withdraw the same amount was done. Unlike Bethpage, XXXX XXXX had safeguards to protect my account from fraudulent activities and refunded my account for the fraudulent debit. Please, please assist me with regaining my funds and putting an end to Bethpage 's nonchalant operations. Bethpage operations sent me documentation from XXXX XXXX that satisfied their investigation. The documents listed my address incorrect, the funds were sent to XXXX and I know no one in XXXX, A XXXX XXXX was used and I don't own one, the IP address was from Texas and I am in New York. At the start of the pandemic, end of XXXX of XXXX, I called the leasing company to make a payment for XXXX of XXXX and was told by an agent who took my payment over the phone ( at their company ) that my leasing company that due to the pandemic, they would defer my payments for 4-6 months. I went through a series of questions and was told it was being recorded to which I agreed to everything and at the end of the phone call was told nothing else needed to be done on my end and to stay safe. Come XX/XX/XXXX, I was speaking with a friend at his place of business and there was a gentleman outside who hooked up my car and told me it was being repossessed for non payment. He gave me a number which led to about 5 other numbers and calls to get in contact with someone. After wondering why my car was being taken away, I was told me there was no documentation on the deferment and said they would give me the car back only if I paid {$47000.00} something the remainder of the car. Which made no sense because it was a lease. I asked to speak to a supervisor and within two days someone called and told me that I had to pay the full balance on the car. I was never late EVER until COVID. I actually offered to pay the 4 months I was behind and another 2 months forward. They declined and told me that they would accept the {$47000.00} plus payment to release the car. When I asked why I was never called about any matters to being denied of this deferment and was informed they were calling my ex husband, my mother and my daughter 's cell phones to which NONE of those numbers were listed on my account when I signed up for the lease! On XX/XX/XXXX, at XXXX, a woman named XXXX XXXX XXXX and asked me what happened ONLY after I replied to an email ad I received from Bethpage Financial. I told her the whole story to which she told me the way the situation was handled was incorrect and she would look into it. She never got back to me and neither did anyone at BethPage. But they posted a repossessed on my credit which I had worked tirelessly after my divorce to improve and NEVER was late on any payments. COVID was and still is a financial disaster. So many hard working people are penalized and have lost everything they own to this pandemic. I tried to make a deal with them and keep my car which I loved so much. To no avail, only to be penalized and had my car taken from me.

I was taken advantage of by XXXX XXXX XXXX. I file a tax deferral form with XXXX XXXX and I usually file with them for free. Unfortunately, I couldnt find the free option and was heavily marketed to take a paid feature and I feel duped because I never received adequate customer service. In fact, I received better customer service for previous years that I used turbo tax free. I got the extension on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX and paid XXXX XXXX XXXX {$240.00} for the price of filing and a deluxe package that included court legal dispute representation. The problem happened when I tried to execute my final filing for XXXX in both XXXX and XXXX of XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX had lost my filing info when I couldnt access it online or through dialing customer service. The card that I used was a debit card issued by Bethpage Federal Credit Union. I filled a complaint with them in XXXX of XXXX and was provisionally credited and that credit was rescinded after a formal investigation which resulted in a letter stating I asked for the credit over sixty days past my statement for XX/XX/XXXX from Bethpage FCU. My contention is that I didnt realize how unsuccessful this filing was until being denied the ability to complete said filing in both XXXX and XXXX of XXXX. XXXX XXXX was under FCC and FTC XXXX for fraudulent practices regarding pricing schemes and as a consumer I am requesting a total refund of the {$240.00} and I will file with a not for profit tax filing institution instead. I had a rough end of my year with XXXX XXXX so I have been reading my statements and pursuing rectification of any charges in my Bethpage FCU accounts. The charge was made on XX/XX/XXXX using my XXXX XXXX, and I think the card number is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I can provide proof of my Covid-19 infection from XXXX which left me with some foggy Covid-19 Post XXXX XXXX syndrome. In addition, I would like {$60.00} which represents XXXX transaction processing fees while my account was low on cash in both XXXX and XXXX of XXXX. Due to Covid-19 Foggy Brain syndrome, I mismanaged some of my bills and I think in this horrible pandemic Bethpage Federal Credit Union can assist me better. It is a great banking institution for someone with low income like myself. The debit card used was under my name which is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and my cell phone number is XXXX XXXX XXXX.

I OPENED UP AN ACCOUNT AT BETHPAGE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION, MANY YEARS AGO, JUST TO HAVE A LOCAL ACCOUNT, WHICH I WAS USING TO CASH CHECKS, ETC. MY MAIN ACCOUNT IS XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, WHICH I OPENED IN 1980. SINCE THEY DON'T HAVE BANKS IN NY, I USED BETHPAGE AS A SHARED BANK, WHICH LET 'S CASH CHECKS AND MAKE DEPOSITS AND WITHDRAWLS. I WAS ABLE TO DO THIS WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT AT BETHPAGE. BUT I OPENED ONE UP ANYWAY. NOW, ALWAYS USING MY XXXX XXXX ACCOUNT FOR MY BANKING NEEDS, MY BETHPAGE ACCOUNTS WENT DORMANT. SO TODAY I GET MY STATEMENT FROM BETHPAGE AND XXXX AND BEHOLD, IT WAS CLOSED OUT, WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR ANY TYPE OF NOTIFICATION FROM BETHPAGE, LIKE AN E-MAIL, USPS LETTER OR PHONE CALL. ZERO-ZILCH-NADA! THE TOTAL AMOUNT WAS SMALL, {$10.00} IN BOTH ACCOUNTS, SINCE XXXX NEEDED A MINIMUM BALANCE TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT THERE. I get paid via direct deposit every XXXX weeks on XXXX morning. Because of this I always schedule my payments the Thursday before so they will come out when my paycheck arrives. This last pay period I got my day of the week confused and set up my payments on Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX and every payment tried to come out on the XXXX. There was no money in my account at this point so every transaction was declined even though I have my account set up for overdraft services. Bethpage Federal Credit Union charged me XXXX fees of {$30.00} each and did not cover a single transaction. The total amount came out to {$450.00} initially. That is a third of my paycheck. I had to call twice and visit a local branch. At first they refused to give back any fees and finally someone on the phone told me he was giving back 3 fees and that their manager would give back another 3. The manager did not do that so I called again and was told it was my fault but eventually 3 more fees were returned. Finally, at the branch the desk lady gave me XXXX more making a total of XX/XX/XXXX fees returned. I explained that I am living paycheck to paycheck and can't afford this to happen. They refused to give me the final XXXX fees back and lectured me about how fees work. I don't see why BFCU is allowed to keep any money for declined transactions without covering any of them. To top it off I also got more fees today because two of the payments I sent out were retried even though I sent out payments once my check really did come in. So as of right now assuming nothing changes Bethpage Federal Credit Union kept {$240.00} out of {$510.00} in NSF fees for bill payments that did not get paid because they declined them despite me being opted-in to overdraft services.

I went in person to XXXX XXXX. ( XX/XX/XXXX ) to file this dispute I then received a letter stating that the merchant did not violate any XXXX rules and regulations. They never provided me any information as to why they denied my claim or why they closed my case. They claim the merchant provided proof that it was a verified charge. I did agree to the charge but I never received my product or the service I paid for. I ordered a XXXX and the service was sub par absolutely horrific. It should last XXXX month. I asked the merchant to just give me XXXX and she said she could fix it. She did something and charged me again. XXXX times from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX a total of XXXX and I still had to go to another hair salon to fix what she didnt do correctly. I have been ripped off and XXXX is allowing it. They have a fiduciary responsibility to me. They never provided me with any substantial information regarding my dispute. On XX/XX/XXXX I paid for a XXXX. I gave permission for the amount of XXXX ( XXXX charged to the card and XXXX in cash ). I never received the customized XXXX.. I want my money back immediately. I feel like these credit card bank companies should give me XXXX time courtesy for what I went through. I want the case to be re-opened. I'm a senior citizen and XXXX on a fixed income.. She took XXXX my XXXX income. I did not receive any documents from XXXX regarding the case. I never got the service that I paid for. I have been ripped off by this merchant by XXXX Im on a fixed income. I never got what I paid for. I want at least XXXX of my money back XXXX.

In XX/XX/2022, I contacted Bethpage Federal Credit Union to buyout an Auto Lease with them, and change it into an Auto Loan. After running through process problems with them completing that auto loan, I was finally able to complete it, and I submitted signed documentation to them in early XXXX, with the completion of the loan, to put the loan on Auto-Pay. In XX/XX/2022, I noticed that my credit score had been damaged because of missed payments on this Auto Loan. I contacted Bethpage, made the missed payments, emailed them the completed Auto Pay form from back in XXXX, and complained that my credit had been damaged. They summarily dismissed my complaint as " not their problem '' and refused to fix the credit report issue. I was under the impression that I had been put on Auto Pay. On XX/XX/XXXX, the night of XXXX XXXX, I was surprised that a Repossession person showed up at my door and took my car. Apparently I had not been put on auto pay again, and was missing 3 months ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ) of payments. Now I'm being charged a fee to pay for the repossession ( {$470.00} ). I have contacted Bethpage, they refuse to say that it's their problem in any way, can't give me information on why my auto pay was never processed, and won't help me file an internal complaint within their organization. They claim they are investigating, but I never see the results of their investigation other than a denial of fault, and more damage ( financial, suffering, credit score damage ). They refuse to help and claim that it's all my fault. On XXXX XXXX I logged into my mobile banking app that I have with Bethpage Federal Credit Union to check my checking account before going to the ATM, upon checking my account I discover that there were 3 transactions on my account that I knew nothing about. The Transactions are as follows- XXXX XXXX for {$73.00}, XXXX for {$92.00} and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$15.00}. I called Bethpage Federal Credit Union immediately and filed a dispute for these charges my card was blocked and was told I can go the the Credit Union branch and get a new card or it could be mailed to me I choose to go the the branch and get a new card. I was given a provisional credit until the investigation completed.On XXXX XXXX I received a letter in the mail that upon competition of the Credit Union investigation that I am responsible for the XXXX XXXX charge for {$73.00}, this amount were deducted back from my account. I called Bethpage again and and were told that my card and pin with the chip was used and that the card can not be reproduce because it has a chip so its a valid transaction and that I am responsible for it. I told the representative that is not true it has to be reproduce because I have my card in my position, at this point I asked to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to one staff by the name of XXXX who took down all the information and promised to return a call to me, its past one month now still waiting on XXXX 's called, I called her number several times and left voicemails for her.

I am reaching out today to speak out against the Atrocities that BETHPAGE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION has put me through and that no other consumer shall. I applied last XXXX ( XXXX ) for a used automobile loan. They voided my approved loan of 6.6 % despite me following up with all necessary criteria. Try to get me to run my credit again Then say theyll work with first pull and then try to Jack the rate on me despite me already getting approved. On XX/XX/23 I traded in a vehicle to a dealership who obtained a 10 day payoff. The payoff was mailed in and arrived and posted to the account on XX/XX/23 in the amount of XXXX. The regular payment of XXXX was due XX/XX/23 and after XX/XX/23 a 10 day XXXX dollar late fee was added. The amount received and posted by Bethpage FCU XXXX on XX/XX/23 was approximately XXXX dollars short of the payoff due to the late fee and the extra days until the check posted. I had contacted Bethpage FCU XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NY XXXX, numerous times during the entire time to check on the payment. The dealership did send the extra XXXX dollars and the account was fully closed and paid in full. 5 years early. I understand the payment was 13 days late and the late fee was paid. Bethpage reported the payment as 30 days late to XXXX and it lowered my XXXX score substantially. I have tried to resolve this with Bethpage and recently XXXX has tried. Bethpage feels the payment was 30 days late, I disagree I believe the check posted 13 days after the payment due date should represent a payment, its unfortunate the mail was delayed or the mailroom at Bethpage posted the check 13 days after the payment due date never 30 days late. XXXX of XXXX my lease was up and I decided to switch it to a loan to buy out the car. In doing so bethpage federal credit union decided they were going to change the vin number on my title. They demanded I have it changed by going to the dmv and after I mentioned taking legal action since they had previously hurt my credit they told me they were fixing it on the phone which is recorded by them because they stopped responding to my emails. XX/XX/XXXX my brother totaled my car in a no fault accident. After a bit of time goes by me and my insurance company find out that the vin number was never fixed. They even tried to say my insurance company had the wrong vin but they had pictures of the vin from the accident on the car. They also never sent me the packet to go to dmv to transfer the title in my name. Now 30 days later Im losing my rental car and Im going to lose out on the car I put a deposit on because they said theyre going to have to wait 2-3 weeks for the dmv to send a duplicate title with the correct vin. I made a deposit at the ATM branch of Bethpage Federal, credit Union in XXXX, New York on XX/XX/2023. The ATM ate {$220.00} of my deposit and rejected {$55.00}. My grand total deposit was for {$1100.00}. I went into the branch deposited the {$55.00} that the machine rejected and told the teller about the {$220.00} the ATM ate. She ended up giving me a provisional credit. Then on XXXX XXXX XXXX bethpage Federal credit Union reversed the provisional credit to my account. They completed an investigation where they denied my claim saying the ATM was balanced, and no discrepancy was found. The bank did not notify me that they denied my claim. I have never received a letter in the mail and I only found this out today XX/XX/ because I was depositing money into my childrens XXXX accounts associated with my savings account. The teller printed me out a piece of paper that was dated from XX/XX/ that I repeat I have never received in the mail. Their investigation is completely wrong. I know what I deposited. I know what the total was and I want them to pull up cameras from the ATM. i have a home equity line of credit with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, I owed {$1400.00} on the line of credit, i called the rep that i would like to pay up the line but keep the line of credit open for future use. On XX/XX/2022 I wrote a check # XXXX for {$13000.00} to XXXX XXXX on behalf of my business XXXX XXXX XXXX. The purpose of this check was to pay an invoice for their client XXXX XXXX. I applied and was approved for a HELOC 13 months ago. I was told and their web page advertised a 2.99 % interest rate for the first 12 months then a permanent fixed rate of 3.25 % for the life of the loan. My interest rate has jumped from 2.99 % to 8 %. My payment has gone from {$210.00} per month to {$560.00} per month. I can not afford to pay this. I have contacted them and they offered me a fixed rate that was higher than the 8 %. I have clearly been tricked and intentionally deceived. On XX/XX/23 I received a text from Bethpage Federal Credit Union that someone was trying to charge {$99.00} to my card from an XXXX XXXX. I said NO I did not authorize and they said card was blocked. I called bank next day and disputed other charges made at XXXX in XXXX - one for {$77.00} another for {$30.00} and another for {$150.00}. I also went to the branch in XXXX in person. On XX/XX/XXXX at about XXXX XXXX I had put a {$100.00} bill and two {$50.00} bills into my Bethpage FCUs farthest right most ATM. The machine then froze and read that I had only put in {$150.00}. I cancelled the transaction trying to get back my {$200.00}, but only received {$150.00}. I went into the bank the next day and told them what happened to which they replied they would investigate. I was credited the {$50.00} while they conducted their investigation and later noticed that the {$50.00} had been taken back out of my account, meaning my claim was denied. BethPage NY ( see attached ) complaint regarding providing a complete loan checklist, additions to home insurance policies, documents, rates and closing costs that are transparent. Applied for a HELOC and was sent a checklist that did not cover critical areas to obtain loan. Was initially sent a pre approval that is misleading ( see attached ). Requested documents required at the last moment. Pressured under deadlines to obtain or else the application would be canceled. Repeated attempts to produce requested documents resulted in homeowner insurance being increased, a discriminatory assessment of property ( by appraiser on their payroll ) not in line with existing properties in my area, even after submitting similar properties for a review and quickly denied. Subsequently canceled my loan request due to continuing poor management of the process. Bethpage could do better.

After applying for a XXXX I received various notifications that the loan was denied because the " debt to income ratio did not meet guidelines ''. This was evidently due to a large part of my income depending on rental income. I requested detailed information about how they calculated the income, debt and debt to income ratio. My request was ignored. I subsequently wrote a letter directly to the CEO of the XXXX XXXX again asking for information about how the income, debt and debt to income ratio were calculated. The letter was not even acknowledged as I received no response at all. It is the XXXX XXXX 's prerogative to use whatever criteria they want in processing loans but when they deny a loan they should at least provide all the information to clarify the basis they used to deny it. I received 4 late mortgage payment charges in the last 12 months. My monthly mortgage statement says that if payment is received after the XXXX of the month I will be charged a late fee of {$36.00}. My mortgage payments are sent electronically from my bank ( XXXX XXXX Bill Pay service ). I never choose a date for delivery that can not be confirmed for delivery by bank and never choose a date past the XXXX of the month. My bank delivers payments electronically 1 day before scheduled payment date and issues a confirmation number. Of the 4 late fees in question, XXXX XXXX has confirmed electronic delivery to Bethpage Mortgage Company no later than the XXXX of month of all 4 payments. If the late fee date is other than after the XXXX of month then mortgage statement should reflect it.

I was attempting to pay ahead on my monthly XX/XX/XXXX Loan payment with partial payments through out the XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ( smart way to reduce interest ). My card was stolen and XXXX was spent at a XXXX while I was at work on XX/XX/XXXX, charge went through on XX/XX/XXXX. The same person also tried using my card at a XXXX and I got an alert via text and I confirmed I was not making this charge. My card was closed. I could not file a dispute until the charge went through. My husband filed the dispute, thinking that I had my card and that just the card information was stolen. I applied to Bethpage credit union for a line of credit. I could not get into sign documents. I emailed them 3 times about this. No reply. So I never signed the documents, yet they somehow checked my credit report, with no written authorization. We could not come to an agreement on a payoff item. So I ended up canceling my request. They wanted me to pay at at closing an unsecured loan that was at least 2.5 point lower then their rate, and would not substitute payments to Higher rate credit cards. no I worry that they would say denied when it was I who cancelled. And how do you check credit, which was good anyway, before you get authorization. I found their behavior very unprofessional. people should be aware of how they operate.

I recently obtained a home equity line of credit with BethpageFCU. They do not provide monthly billing statements prior to due date of interest payments on outstanding balances. I contacted their customer service and was told by one of their reps. in the loan area, that they do not provide statements monthly only quarterly. This is outrageous considering they expect payment monthly. Their contract they sent me states the same except they would provide monthly statements where required by law. This seems to be a violation of FACTA considering I can not verify accurate accounting of charges assessed w/out those statements to confirm the interest charged.

XXXX has not removed the this consumer from my credit report, despite my dispute requests. This is an account that was removed in XXXX once I paid the account in full. Loan is fraudulent and a down payment was taken when it should not have been. My car insurance was not included in my loan and this is against my UFC code law. UFC -15 1611, UF16-05, UFC16 62. I traded in a car and was not given my right equity for my trade in value. I have the right to rescind these loan on the UFC violations alone. Bethpage placed our home equity line of credit on the wrong property. I went to sell this property when the title company found the error. I paid the lawyer and recording fee ( again ) to fix this problem. I believe Bethpage FCU should reimburse me for their error. I have tried to contact the institution 9 times with no answer. The last time I even wrote a letter to the XXXX. Still, just crickets. I have attached all of my correspondence and the relevant documents.

Ive sent letters to all three reporting agencies as well as the original collectors, the time of which these items are to be reported has expired over 8 years. Legally under the fair credit reporting act 7 years is the deadline in which these companies can report on the credit after the account has been closed. It has been almost 10 years now and they after many letters are still reporting and not taking into the account the laws in place.
