Im writing in response to your illegal debt validation letter dated XX/XX/22. Attempting to collect a debt on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. For starters I DO NOT OWE XXXXCA Financial Services , Inc, your company any money! How are you attempting to collect a debt on behalf of another creditor, a medical creditor at that? Violation of HIPAA. Yet again, you have failed to provide me with a copy of any viable evidence, bearing my signature, showing that I have an account and contract with BCA Financial Services bearing my signature. I need you to provide me legal proof that I have the right to do business with you. What bounds me to you? What business have I done with you? I am demanding that you remove this account from my credit reports at once, or I will be filing another complaint with Consumer Affairs. It is absurd, might I add illegal for you to enter any collection on my credit file when I have not done any business with you. I do not owe you any money, and I know for a fact that a collection agency can not collect a debt on behalf of another. Be advised that the description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information is hereby requested. Statements are not accurate or valid when adhering to The Fair Credit Reporting Act Sections 609 and 611. These regulations state that I have the right to request the original contract bearing my signature ( you must forward it ) and who has continously verified this inaccurate account. Additionally, please provide the name, address, and telephone number of each person who personally verified this alleged account, so that I can inquire about how they verified without providing any proof, bearing my signature. As per FTC opinion letter from Attorney XXXX XXXX XXXX, you should be aware that a print out of a bill or itemized document does not constitute verification. I am again formally requesting a copy of any documents, bearing my signature, showing that I have a legally binding contractual obligation to pay you the alleged amount. Be aware that I am making a final good will attempt to have you clear up this matter. The listed item is inaccurate and incomplete, and represents a very serious error in your reporting. I am maintaining a careful record of my communications with you for the purpose of filing a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Attorney Generals office. Should you continue non-compliance of federal laws under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the corresponding local laws. i got a call from XXXX the man said My Name : XXXX XXXX XXXX i said whos calling please he said No i need the last XXXX digits of your Social Security Number and then ill tell you who i am! I said NO you will tell me who you are and what company your calling from sir before I 'll release any information to you! he said NO i will tell you that after you confirm the last XXXX of your Social Security numbers! i said NOT happening your NOT getting my personal information, i do not know who you are and what company your calling from so tell me that please! He said again No mame i need you to confirm the last XXXX of your Social Securtiy numbers so i can confirm i have XXXX XXXX XXXX on the phone! I said NOT HAPPENING SIR. GOODBYE IM REPORTING YOU! i got very upset knowing this could be a identity threat call so i blocked the number and told my husband cause im elderly and XXXX both. my husband unblocked the number and called it back to see if someone would answer and he could find out who these people where harassing me for my social security number. they answered B.C.A. finacial services and told my husband this number we have for your call is XXXX XXXX and give us the last XXXX of her social to confirm its her! my husband said NOT HAPPENING thats illegal to not disclose who your calling for and your name sir and he told my husband it was a financial matter meaning a collections for a dept. well my husband told the man that he was reporting them. i looked at XXXX of my collections papers that 's all i owe as of now and i did have on for BCA financial services, Inc a debt collection company for {$75.00} but the numbers to contact them on their paper is XXXX or XXXX not the one that called me and this is for a old emergency bill for XXXX. original creditor. for XXXX there address is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Florida XXXX im really concerned that someone can just call and ask for your social security number. he did said it was a recorded line. I got the call on my XXXX cell phone number. My other concern is that people who go into collections from that nice hospital here can have their identify information possibly stolen. At the time of this debt I was/am a XXXX XXXX, only working XXXX XXXX. The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX bill was almost {$2000.00}. I called the hospital, spoke to XXXX XXXX, told him I could not afford to pay all at once. He said to pay just what I could. I also called the number on the hospital bill after speaking with him, and they told me at that time he did not work there anymore, but I could ask for help with the bill by filling out the charities form that I could get online on their Web site, which I did, and I mailed it Certified Mail, and received back the signature card from the post office that they received it [ I have copies of proof of mailing and receipt ]. I sent in everything they asked for. I waited a few months, did not hear anything, called back. It was at this time I was told they didn't receive it. I have proof they received it. My parents then said they would help me by paying the hospital {$20.00} a month on autopay from their checking account. I also have proof of their payments over the last six months. The last bill I received from the hospital said if payment has been made to disregard this notice, so I knew my parents were paying monthly on the account, so I disregarded that notice since a monthly payment was being made. The next correspondence I received just yesterday is from a collection agency. I have been making a good faith attempt to slowly pay off this debt and they sent me to a collection agency anyway. The starting bill was {$1900.00}, the bill from the collection agency shows the balance as {$1800.00}. These are the payments made : XX/XX/18 - paid {$25.00} ; XX/XX/18 paid {$20.00} ; XX/XX/18 paid {$20.00} ; XX/XX/18 paid {$20.00} ; XX/XX/18 paid {$20.00} ; XX/XX/18 paid {$20.00}. There was a scheduled autopay check that was to continue going out monthly until it was paid off, but now I have received this collections letter, which means the hospital sold this invoice to BCA Financial Services and it is out of the hands of the hospital. This is wrong and should be investigated.

When I signed up for my high deductible and 20 % co-insurance plan, I did calculations based on fair and average delivery costs. However, the hospital billed much higher than Fair Health Consumer and Healthcare Bluebook published average rates. The average cost for the mother and baby is a total charge of {$15000.00}, plus the XXXX XXXX observation room fair price should be {$600.00}, for a total cost of XXXX. The hospital charged a total above {$44000.00}. Secondly, the commercial insurance acceptance for a XXXX XXXX with XXXX XXXX is very high. The bill was a whopping XXXX, XXXX above the maximum amount other insurances accept. In short, the insurance paid above {$19000.00} already to XXXX XXXX which is XXXX higher than the average rate that hospitals charge for the services I received. This is without the additional XXXX which I owe. Another more serious complaint I have is against the hospital is its unfair collection procedure. Less than XXXX hours after XXXX XXXX XXXX, a hospital employee asked me to pay a bill of XXXX based on charges of XXXX just for my stay in the hospital. This was before any EOB or proper insurance processing was conducted. The bill was nothing less than extortion. The actual amount I owed, after insurance processing was significantly lower than this trumped up, false bill presented to me. This is clearly fraudulent and unethical and dishonest practice. It also takes unfair advantage of the vulnerability of a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX In my weakened state, I caved into the pressure and allowed the hospital employee to charge my card for {$1100.00} instead of the $ XXXX they initially demanded in conversation with me. The card was declined due to insufficient account balance. XXXX XXXX who managed the Debit card I offered the hospital, has record of XXXX XXXX charging my card XXXX XXXX less than XXXX hours after my baby was born, for the amount of {$1100.00}. Permission to charge my card for this amount was obtained through disreputable business practice, intimidation, and fraud.

In XXXX, XXXX I pulled my three main credit bureau reports. I noticed a collection for a BCA Financial Services , INC . I have never heard of them before. I sent them a letter on XX/XX/XXXX requesting information regarding this debt and proof that it was mine. They sent me a copy of a bill for XXXX XXXX from XXXX. Just had my name, my old address, and an address that I have never seen or lived at before. I did not vacation with XXXX in XXXX so I knew right away this was not my bill. I sent another letter ( XX/XX/XXXX ) asking for more detailed information. I asked for a signed contract, a photo of my ID that I may have given, or even more detailed information. Again, they responded with the same bill. Upon my research, there are MANY, MANY people with my name around the USA. So, giving it another shot, I wrote them a third time ( XXXX XXXX ) giving them one more chance to provide actual proof this debt belonged to me. As of XX/XX/XXXX, I have not received a response from BCA of any kind. Each time, I asked they remove this erroneous account from my credit. This does not belong to me and it is affecting my credit rating which I have worked so hard to improve and maintain. If they can not provide more proof than a general bill, then this case should be closed. They are violating the FCRA for reporting incorrect information, and now for not responding within 30 days. I simply ask this to be removed from all bureaus immediately so we can lay this to rest. I don't want to seek further action. BCA has not done their due diligence in regards to this matter. They have not responded properly to my requests. They have not provided valid proof of this debt belonging to me. Since they have failed to do all of these things, they are required to remove this from my Credit reports.

On XX/XX/2022, I was treated by a medical provider through XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. They submitted the claim to my insurance company on XX/XX/2022, and on XX/XX/2022, XXXX issued them payment for the service rendered resulting in a balance owed by me of {$53.00}. I never received an invoice detailing a balance bill in the mail from XXXX XXXX XXXX. The week of XX/XX/2022, I went to their portal and found that there was a balance owed. I wrote a check for the balance and mailed it to XXXX- which they subsequently cashed on XX/XX/2022. I received a letter from BCA Financial Services dated XX/XX/2022, stating that I had been referred to collections for an unpaid balance owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX. It is quite literally impossible that between XX/XX/2022, and XX/XX/2022, XXXX XXXX XXXX billed me for the balance owed on my account, I had 30 days to remit payment, did not do so, and subsequently could have been referred to collections. On XX/XX/2022, after six months of harassment from BCA Financial Services for debts not owed ( this is the third instance ), I submitted a complaint to this agency to dispute the debt. BCA Financial services told me they would verify the debt was owed and send me proof. They then sent me a letter dated XX/XX/2022, claiming the debt remained outstanding. They clearly did not do their research, as once again they are attempting to collect a debt that was never attempted to be collected from me, referred to collections inappropriately, and paid as evidenced in the attached. The harassment and illegal business practices must stop.

In XX/XX/XXXX I received a notice from BCA Financial Services , Inc. advising I owed a debt in the amount of {$56.00} due to an unpaid bill with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX as of XX/XX/XXXX. I reviewed my records and found that in the year XXXX I only received two invoices from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for the amount of {$56.00}, and both of those invoices were paid. At that time I wrote a letter to BCA Financial Services , Inc. formally disputing the debt and providing them with copies of all invoices I had received, the cashed checks showing the debt was paid, and demanding they investigate the debt to verify that it was actually owed. I sent this letter to them via Certified Mail, and confirmed delivery. I also sent a copy to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Upon doing this, it is my understanding they are legally prohibited from trying to collect this debt until they furnish proof that it is owed. In XX/XX/XXXX I spoke to BCA Financial Services , Inc. on the telephone and they advised me they were will researching if the debt in the amount of {$56.00} was owed. I never received a formal response from them providing they verified this debt was owed. Today, I received another letter in the mail from BCA Financial Services , Inc. citing that same debt of {$56.00}. It is a violation of my rights for them to try and collect on a debt I have formally disputed without furnishing proof it is owed. Attached please find copies of all correspondence from BCA Financial Services, to BCA Financial Services, and copies of medical invoices and cashed checks.

This is my third complaint with BCA. The first two times I received response from the XXXX, XXXX XXXX. She stated this had been requested to be removed from my credit. I have received no documentation in regards to it being removed from their company. I have received no further communication at all. As of XX/XX/2021 this erroneous item remains on my credit report. 10 days after XXXX last response and it still sits there. I spoke with XXXX on Friday, XX/XX/2021 in regards to this account and they have received no request to remove this. In fact, the last update they received from BCA was in XXXXXXXX XXXX. I can not dispute this item due to going through the mortgage process so I kindly ask you again, please remove immediately. With that being said, I am filing a third and final complaint, and will also follow up with a letter in the mail. This account does not belong to me and it is affecting my credit. I am in the process of purchasing a home and because of this item my score is lower, therefore my interest rate is lower. If this is not corrected immediately I will have to take legal action. I do believe there is also a fine that is incurred for {$1000.00} per line item on each report. I have been fighting this for over XXXX months now and I wish to resolve this and move on. I would like to request for experience to send credit reports to all agencys who recieved or look up my credit report, as to there has been ALOt of hard inquiry not authorized by my on report I am in the process of disputing, I have medical bills from BCA Financial. The have ILLEGALLY and UNauthlrozed by myself exposed my medical records to another agencys without my approval which is covered by HIPPA. I want help, or advice to get off my record. At XXXX XXXX EST I received a call from " XXXX '' who identified themselves as being from BCA financial services. They said they were looking for me for some information about my XXXX year old son Believing I was being contacted by a debt collector I asked XXXX if they were a debt collector and informed them that they were legally obligated to tell me if they were. They refused and told me they could only discuss further if I was willing to " verify '' ( this is neither legal nor the case ) I refused to provide the information they asked and so the phone call ended I called the office back at XXXX XXXX on a recorded line and explained to the person on the phone what happened and that it was illegal. The person who received my call also refused to say whether or not they were a debt collector and repeated the statement that I needed to " verify '' for them to discuss further. I verified my name and birthday which they said was incorrect ( its not incorrect I'm just not the person they're trying to collect a debt from ) I asked again on the recorded line if they were a debt collector and they refused to answer

Presented to XXXX hospital as directed by health dept for covid testing XX/XX/2020. There were no tests but based on symptoms that were still unclear and not uniform for most of the public, I was deemed not to have covid based upon my reply to the question whether I had contact with and infected person. Since there was no testing, I'm not sure how I would know that so my answer was how would I know if I was exposed as no testing is available. The physician stated that i do not have covid but stated he could give me a XXXX XXXX for what I assumed was a diagnostic test to determine if XXXX had signs of XXXX XXXX. I was later billed for the testing, that I understood to be covered by the cares act. I was told ( despite my medical records ) that i did not present for covid testing so I am liable for the cost of the visit. I was financially blackmailed until I paid a lesser amount and was avised that this reporting would be removed from my credit report. once paid, i got a receipt but they refused to remove the acct from my bureau report.

I made an image test in XXXX XXXX XXXX. At the day of the test, I paid {$250.00} via credit card. Some months later the Hospital sent me a bill of {$870.00}. So, I called the Hospital and asked to them take out {$250.00} of that cost once I paid it prior the test. Furthermore, on XX/XX/2022, I called the Hospital and negotiated a discount. So, they accepted to receive more {$50.00} and END the charge. Then I paid more {$50.00}, totalizing {$300.00}. Recently, for my surprise, I received a debt collector letter, trying to receive {$820.00}. I disputed the debt and sent to them the documents which prove I paid the total cost of the service negotiated with the Hospital. However, they ignored my dispute and sent a new letter with rougher threats. These trying to receive more money than was agreed upon is causing a lot of stress, because I thought I could trust on the deal I made with the hospital. It is a lack of transparency and honesty.

On XXXX XXXX, 2015, I received a collection letter from BCA Financial Services , Inc., XXXX, XXXX, demanding payment for a debt for their client, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I immediately responded to this collection agency in written form telling them that I have been disputing this matter with their client for almost a year, with valid medical reasons for said dispute, as well as instructing them to cease all further contact with me. On XXXX XXXX, I received a second letter from them again demanding payment for the same client. I have, for the second time, sent them a letter informing them that I will now report their agency to your agency and both state attorney generals ' offices in XXXX and XXXX. In this second letter I reminded them that they were previously instructed to cease any further communication, yet they chose to ignore my request. BCA Financial Services Inc. took it upon oneself to post reputation destroying information to all three of my consumer credit reports concerning an alleged debt without contacting me prior to this attempt of XXXX of my character and well being. Upon calling this debt collector in attempts to correct the inaccurate location information the debt collector proceeded in attempts to coerce me into paying on an alleged debt along with giving incentives like offering a settlement for less than the alleged debt. This account was posted to my XXXX, XXXX and XXXX Credit Reports XX/XX/XXXX for the alleged balance of {$400.00}. I, the consumer, sent a letter to BCA Financial Services in XX/XX/XXXX and received a response on XX/XX/XXXX. I have disputed this collection acct twice that has so many misleading and inaccurate details, it should have been removed. Nobody is investigating hardly anything! The date of service, the date it went to collection was premature of fcra guidelines, lender sent me a balance but it does not correlate with XXXX and XXXX investigated reports. I received a collection notification. I was not sure what it was and requested verification but did not receive what I requested.
