i made payments in advance to this company which is a simple interest loan not a compounded interest loan. this company reports daily interest charge as my principal balance. causing my credit score to go down. on a simple interest loan per california law is computed on a daily rate based of the apr on the principal balance from the date of the last payment to the date the next payment has been received. i made my first 2 payments early. and after that i have paid for several bigger payments. the company then reported to transunion the interest accrued prior to receiving the next payment making my principal balance increase. the credit bureau in turn lowers my credit score believing i missed a payment. i called the loan company to ask them why are they doing this to me. and to please follow the law in regards to reporting the principal balance correctly. every time i make a payment they report to the credit bureau a few days before the payments due the principal balance plus the interest charge always making my actual principal balance higher than it actually is. i sent documentation to the customer service rep. to show him exactlly what i was talking about. he acknowledge that my credit report reflect the interest is included in my principal balance instead of listing the correct principal balance. today i went to check on my credit score and i saw my score went down even further because the company had attached a statement to my report. unfortunately i can not view this statement but it is derogatory because it caused my score to decrease even further. so instead of helping me raise my credit score they are deliberatly using evil practices to hurt me. i dont understand why. i am a good client i dont cause any issues i make my payments online and i never have been late yet they treat me as if i am a bad client and even go out of thier way to hurt my credit score. i never have dealt with a company who punishes thier good customers. and i have a more in depth credit monitoring account and i saw on there that they ran my credit report multiple times for 3 months i seen it ran every day for a week then a week later it was ran multiple times yet again. must have been at leadt 14 times. as you can see in the attachment that i provided that my score was affected by going down XXXX points because of the remark they added. instead of it going up because i made a payment it went down and XXXX points is a lot.

I have filed a couple complaints that the loan company is reporting interest and increasing my balance owed in a simple interest loan showing my balanced owed is higher that the actual balance. This loan is not a compounded interest loan although it is being reported as such and is causing my score to drop. I usually pay my loan early and make 2 payments every month. I pay the amount due to the principal amount and pay extra for the interest on the loan. If I make a payment 10 days after the last payment made i then calculate the daily interest and add that to the payment amount. This company will report my payment then usually a few days later with report a new balance including the interest that would be owed using the date of last payment received to the date the send in the information this then will show an increase in my principal balance causing my credit score to drop. Instead of only reporting the principal balance the add the simple interest to it then report it as if it was a compounded interest loan. I have notified the company and the rep. Did not want to fix anything instead they started reporting more often to the credit report agency showing my balance as increasing making my debt to income ratio in the negative. I have explained this and still have not received any positive outcome instead it's more negative than before. I have a credit card with compounded interest and they report the balance owed not the balance and the interest even though they could. This is the only loan that does this to my credit report and I have bought several cars in the past and never ever uncountered this problem nor have I been retaliated against like this for filling a complaint.

On XX/XX/2019 At XXXX I got a call from BaySide Credit The name of the representative is XXXX , I was threatened that they were gon na take legal action against me, I was told by XXXX that they were going to take me to court and garnish my wages. I offer to pay {$100.00} a month but my offer was not accepted, I was pushed to come up with {$250.00} to make the payment and to settle the account for {$1000.00} payment was supposed to be made on XX/XX/2019 even knowing that I'm a single mother working hard as well to get back on track, however on the second call I got with BaySide Credit on XX/XX/2019 at XXXX, I spoke to a representative first, he forward the mgs to a manager XXXX who came out with an option to pay {$500.00} in 2 payments, I told them that I was not gon na be able to pay the {$250.00} so I ask to lower the payment again for {$100.00} until balance was paid off in full not with the settlement, however XXXX got into the call again and told me again that they were not gon na work with me, they were going to go against me and take me to court and garnish my wages, when I ask to work with me with the full balance of about {$2600.00} or so.. he mention its going to take you over 2 year to paid off, i told him I didn't care that I will prefer paid.. then have it on my credit for 7 years, he put me on hold, came back and ask me again for another balance that I can't paid he ask for {$150.00} to settle the acct in 18 months I told him once again that I could not do more then {$100.00} I have my family as well. But he stated that there was nothing else to do and I end up the call. Now I'm scared that they are going to garnish my wages.

I have a vehicle loan. And the loan company keeps reporting an increase in my loan balance causing my credit score to be affected. I tried calling and talking directly to the loan company but they deny any wrong doing. I reported it through the credit bureau and through here. The loan company reports that my balance has increased when in fact it has not. Its a simple interest loan. When the payment is received the daily interest is deducted from the payment based on the amount of days since the last payment was received. What this company does is reports the payment received and the principal balance to the credit bureau. Then a few days or weeks later it reports a balance increase by adding the simple interest to the principal balance. This causes my history to reflect negatively against me. And my credit score drops. In fact the amounts they report to the credit bureau are incorrect. They are aware that by doing this it is ruining my credit score and yet the continue to do so. How is it fair if you pay down a loan only for the loan company turn around and report the simple interest as an increase. They know its hurting my score yet they continue this practice

Bayside credit repossesed my car last year because two checks bounced and the day they found out they reposssesed my car. They said they called me first, but did not. It cost me XXXX $ to get my car back two days later. I dont see how this is legal and if it isnt then they should be held responsible and held up to whatever the law says to be the consequences. Then 1week ago they put on my credit report that my account is closed. I still owe them XXXX $ and have made every payment on time. It also says that I have never been late on a payment and my account is in good standing. This company, especially the guy named XXXX or XXXX in the collections department has threatened me over the phone with repossession numerous time and have called my family members and people not on my reference sheet. I know this is illegal. I would like Bayside credit to rectify the mark on my credit report and if they have broken the law I would like them to be held to the penalties afforded by the law.

For the past year i have complained about thus company distorting the facts on my credit report affecting my credit score. Now i made a payment on my loan on XX/XX/2021. Immediately after they took the payment i checked the payment history. Instead of crediting my account on the day they received the payment the date was set in the future so that i would be charged 2 additional days of interest on my loan. This has never been the case. The payment date always reflected the date it was received and the interest was taken for the correct amount of days. Its a simple interest loan and all interest is calculated between the date of last payment. Because they did this i was charged more money than i should have been.

A little over two years ago, I turned in a vehicle that I had financed due to financial difficulties. ( Voluntary repossession ) Later on that year which was 2020, the finance company charged off the debt and it says so on my report. However they are still adding negative remarks every single month without fail making my credit suffer needlessly. I thought once charged off, the company couldn't still do that ; adding to a growing balance The people working there are very rude and it feels like it's personal.

Bayside Credit calling from ( XXXX ) XXXX harassed my significant other for a debt ( was not disclosed it as a debt collector ) and it was a prior relationship ( not by marriage and not her debt either in any capacity ). It was deceitfully, intentionally, and purposely implied to have been for a job reference for her ex. This has left her feeling very uncomfortable. I hope something is done about it.
