Barton Creek Auto d/b/a XXXX in XXXX, Texas. I was told by XXXX XXXX the account representative that I should be careful about mileage because " this is a lease and anything over 20,000 miles per year would cost me {$15.00} per mile ''. It even said so in the paper work so I acknowledged that I understood. She mentioned to me that if I wanted to get out of the lease early, all I would have to do is pay {$490.00} early termination fee and turn in the car. OK. I saw that in the contract. No problem.
Fast forward to today. I do a LOT of driving and I was getting close to the 20,000 mile per year limit. So now its time to BUY a car which I can drive freely instead of LEASING a car and having to worry about mileage.
I went to another car dealer to see about purchasing a car and the dealer called XXXX XXXX of Barton Creek Auto d/b/a XXXX to confirm it would cost me {$490.00} to end the lease. She told them no, it would cost me a whopping {$1900.00} to get out of the lease, even though the lease agreement clearly stated {$490.00} to end the lease and return the car.
Barton Creek Auto d/b/a XXXX told me something entirely different when I chose to exercise my contractual right to END THE LEASE. XXXX XXXX told me that she is charging me .XXXX cents per mile for the miles I have driven on the car since I leased it.
THAT IS NOWHERE IN THE CONTRACT. There is no mention of a .XXXX cent per mile charge. She said she is " being nice '' by charging me these extra fees of {$1900.00} instead of the {$490.00} stated in the contract.
Barton Creek Auto d/b/a XXXX is in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Their written contract states {$490.00} to end the auto lease and the company representative creates a new story and thousands of dollars in additional fees when I decided to exercise my contractual right to end the lease.

I have contacted XXXX in writing TWELVE TIMES regarding an Incorrect Account they are reporting on my Credit file. I mailed them a letter on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX to request a re-investigation for an account they are reporting as Account # XXXX with a creditor named XXXX. They have NEVER responded to me or mailed me any results of their investigation and nothing has changed on my credit report. The information they are reporting is WRONG and they refuse to correct it. They are not even providing me with the contact information for this creditor on my credit report and I have no way to contact the company they allege I owe. That is illegal and a very clear violation of my rights. This debt obviously is not able to be verified and I am DEMANDING that XXXX immediately DELETE Account # XXXX with XXXX from my credit file immediately.
