On XX/XX/XXXX my husband and I financed a car with Atlanta Auto Star. We searched for a car dealer that reports to all 3 credit bureaus and chose Atlanta Auto Star for their advertising statements that they report to all 3 credit bureaus. For 1 year and 2 months this company reported our on time payments/never late to all 3 credit bureaus. In XX/XX/XXXX they stopped reporting to any credit bureaus. We contacted the owner XXXX XXXX who advised us that for his business needs he has stopped reporting. We advised him that we only went through his company because he reported to all credit bureaus. We insisted that we were never notified in advance of a change to his business practices and reporting processes. He said there was nothing he can do. We feel like we were mislead with false and misleading business practices to get a loan with his company. This has now ruined our opportunity to purchase a home and has now stalled our credit report.
