A company called ACSI who also identifies themselves as XXXX XXXX XXXX assistance has been sending me letters demanding that I repay my student loan debt and threatening to garnish my wages. They claim to own the debt now and arbitrarily added almost {$25000.00} to my original student loan claiming that it was for penalties. I explained my financial situation and that I am on XXXX, having been out of work for over a year now. I sent them my financial disclosure information but they insist that they will garnish my wages for 15 % despite the fact that I am on XXXX and that my wages have been drastically reduced down to 60 %. They claim I make more than what they think I should be allowed but they're not taking into consideration the amount of my income that has to be set aside for taxes. I'm working on getting documentation from my XXXX insurance company on how much the taxes are going to be in to have them automatically deducted from my monthly pays that I can demonstrate how little my income really is. This collection agency is basing the garnishment not just upon any income they think I'm making, but based off of income that my husband brings in which is not fair because I was not married to him when I was going through school and he had nothing to do with my student loan debt. When I try to call the phone number in the notice of garnishment letter they sent me, it was to a completely unrelated company. The phone number they provided me was one XXXX, the number for an organization called " feed the poor '' - this is also a Spanish only line and I don't speak XXXX. I tried calling a ACSI and got a voicemail so I left a message. This is unconscionable what they are doing and I am worried about whether or not they are even legitimate not just given the arbitrary fees they tacked onto to my original loan but the fact that they gave me a completely unrelated phone number to call. I had previously done a year 's worth of loan rehabilitation but no one is acknowledging the payments I made. Those payments are not being acknowledged and seem to have disappeared. I ran into severe medical problems but I had completed that years worth of payments. My debt was conveniently sold off at that time and I lost track of it because of all the medical problems I was having. Can they even garnish my XXXX income? It is through private XXXX insurance but I have been working with Social Security trying to file XXXX through them. My loans are almost 20 years old. The collection agencies are claiming I owe twice as much as my original loans because of alleged fees and interest but mostly bogus collection fees. At this rate, I will never be able to repay this loan I get out of debt. It's a lifetime of financial slavery. I didn't even benefit from the bachelor 's degrees I got from University of XXXX. It took me at least 15 years to finally get a minor promotion that had required that I have a XXXX XXXX degree. No one would promote me prior to that especially due to my medical problems. The phone number for ACSI where I was finally able to leave a message is XXXX XXXX, extension XXXX. The two for that line is XXXX XXXX. They have the account under my maiden name, XXXX XXXX. Alleged acct # XXXX. Do you have a lawyer who is willing to help me challenge this oh, both the amount they claim I owe this point and the garnishment?

In XX/XX/XXXX my employer received a phone call from ACSI inc needing to verify I worked there. I received a call from my corporate office stating that a collection agency had contacted them and that I needed to contact them and tell them I can not receive calls at work. I immediately contacted this company that same day and asked who they were and what this was pertaining to. The Woman who answered the phone did not respond with a company name only stated this call is being recorded and would not give any information as to the name of the company. She repeated what is your name and how may I help you I stated that you called my employer who is this she then stated the company name and said she was a collection agency. She wanted my name and ss number to verify who I was. I declined giving that information and demanded that she let me know what this was regarding. Finally after arguing and demanding that she look up my name only she stated that this was for a student debt. I stated I have never had a student loan and demanded to know why they contacted my employer before ever contacting me. She stated that they have every right to contact my employer or go about any means to contact me to recover the money is for this debt. I told her to see if and desist from all communication they were not to contact myself any family members my appointment ever again this was not my debt they have the wrong person. A few days later I received for the first time a letter in the mail from ACSI. Attached was an acct # and paperwork stating that I am outstanding student loan from XXXX. Again I have never taken any student loans out nor have I ever attended any college or university which would require me to have needed to take out student loan. Now XXXX on behalf of ACSI is threatening to withhold wages. I have sent a demand letter requesting proof of any documents showing validity of any student loans taken out. No response as of yet. Each direction I turn to runs me into a dead end. Contacting university XXXX XXXX which is the school the funds apparently went to. University XXXX XXXX verified that no classes were ever taken and completed by looking up my name and social security number. They directed me to speak with the debt counseling dept regarding this and she opened up a dispute case # XXXX. My only assumption is this may be a case of identity theft. My main concern is is this collection agency will continue to try to go forward with this without providing any validity. I have been reading that this particular collection agency garnish his wages even when there is no proof of a valid debt. They are devious and underhanded and will not stop at any cost simply to collect on a debt they probably paid pennies on the dollar for. This is not my debt!!!! I want this nightmare to stop!!!!

To Whom It May Concern, I was garnished again for 15 % of my paychecks for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/2016 by Automated Collection Services , Inc. in XXXX, TN. I did not receive notice of garnishment from ACSI, and the garnishment took be by complete surprise. I repeatedly told ACSI reps that I could not afford the amount of this garnishment. I even faxed over financial records showing that I could not pay essential bills ( rent, utilities, etc. ). ACSI and I then had a written agreement with ACSI to have my garnishment reduced to 5 %. However, I contacted my payroll department this morning and the director of payroll replied they did not receive a fax from ACSI for this reduction, and I was garnished at approximately XXXX % again. As I have tried futilely to discuss with their reps, I can not afford the amount at which I am being garnished. It is crippling me financially, rendering me unable to pay my essential bills. I contacted ACSI and I was transferred to someone calling herself XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX mocked me. After telling her I was being crippled financially by the garnishment, she said then I could pay the full balance in lump sum or settle for thousands of dollars. Well, if I ca n't afford to pay hundreds of dollars, how can I pay tens of thousands of dollars at one time? Why would someone representing a company mock someone who is financially destitute? Is it common practice by companies to tell people who can not afford to pay hundreds of dollars each month to tell them that they can pay tens of thousands in a lump sum which the representative would know that that person can not pay it? The only reason to say such a thing is to mock and humiliate a financially destitute person. Second, they claim they can not relinquish the garnishment. However, they have that option ( as evidenced by a complaint that was resolved on the XXXX website and by common sense -- they hold the debt -- no one is forcing them to garnish me at the rate they are ). I have no problem making payments, but not at the amount they are demanding. I simply can not afford it. Plus, I offered to consolidate the loan with my other loans which are in good standing. They refused because they told me that because they had the garnishment they did not have to. Had I received a notice of garnishment, I would have been aware of the debt, which I assumed to be in good standing with my other student loans ( that is the only reason it went delinquent ). And, thus, I would have contacted XXXX ( the originator of the loan ) or ACSI and handled it before being garnished. From my understanding, I am supposed to have received a notice of garnishment, and I also do not think that belittling consumers for not being able to pay is something that ACSI 's employees have the right to do.

There is a collection account on my credit report that I have continuously disputed because it is completely inaccurate. I do not owe the amount reported, and the collection agencies can not provide any evidence to prove and/or verify the account. The account keeps being transferred from one agency to another, with no accountability, while severely damaging my credit ( and my ability to refinance my home ) and creating a financial hardship by reducing my income. In the last year, this account has changed from XXXX to XXXX to Automated Collections to the current holder, XXXX. I have sent letters by certified mail asking all of these agencies to verify this debt, and they have not. Automated Collection/XXXX is not only reporting this inaccurate account on all three of my credit reports, but they are also intercepting any federal payment to me. They have reduced my XXXX income and they also withheld my federal tax refund. As of Tuesday, XXXX XXXX, 2016, a staff member from Automated Collection, XXXX, stated that they have my case in dispute and they will respond in writing in a few weeks. This is unbelievable and completely unacceptable! I still have n't received a response to date. I retired from my job for health reasons and this is creating a serious financial hardship. This is not my account! Following my series of disputes to the credit bureaus, I finally received a letter from XXXX XXXX last XXXX stating that they could not verify the account ( please see attached ), and would return the account back to the original creditor and delete it from my credit files. To date, it is still on my report, which is the account transferred to and now reported by XXXX. The credit bureaus keep sending me responses that this account has been verified, although neither XXXX XXXX nor XXXX ( or any of the other collection agencies ) can verify it, and despite my sending them a copy of the attached letter confirming this fact. During the first week of XXXX, I contacted both Automated Collection Inc. and XXXX again, and received the usual runaround. On the morning of XXXX XXXX, XXXX, an XXXX staff member, informed me that XXXX sent an email on my behalf to Automated Collection Services on XXXX XXXX, 2016, asking them to release the intercepted Federal payments, including our income tax refund, and said they are waiting for a response from Automated Collection Services. I never receive any responses or updates, while my credit continues to suffer and my income continues to be unjustly taken from me! I urgently request your help and assistance, as I have written several letters and made several calls, to no avail.

XXXX originated the loan in XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX Then, XXXX XXXX went bust. They at some point sold the loan to XXXX XXXX, out of Colorado XXXX XXXX has sent the loans to collections via ACSI, who is threatening to retain my tax refunds. XXXX never notified me of default. XXXX XXXX never provided due diligence/process of reconciliation, forbearance, repayment options etc. This ACSI outfit, whose mailing is labeled from XXXX, OR, and Kentucky, but call center in Tennessee is the slimiest debt collection institution. The threats and harassment, especially of stealing tax returns is blatant. Obviously their debt was acquired through completely deranged and incorrect channels. XXXX failed to offer due process of loan recovery, as did XXXX XXXX. I have disputed the validity of the debt to asci. The operators at their institution asked me for my full social security number, which I found to be a fraudulent method of verifying identity. I explained repeatedly that I believe their collection to be invalid and illegal, and will only verify by yes or no the information they may have on file, but will not be providing my full social security to them. They mentioned today repeatedly being concerned about them potentially being sued for fraud. I elxplained to them that they should be concerned, as they are in fact attempting to collect a debt not originated by them. Essentially, they are parasites, exploiting loopholes in student lending laws, targeting specific individuals in the population, harassing me and others and threatening to steal tax refund. They may not be obligated to abide by student lending laws, but they are obligated and under duress of law to practice legal debt collection ( s ) i.e. Offering resolution, due process. At no point was any effort made by any of the three involved institutions to resolve the debt according to either student loan lending laws, or economic/debt collection laws. During last conversation, XX/XX/XXXX. They alleged to have placed collection in dispute and suspend collection effort. When asked to clarify what exactly " dispute '' means, representative of ACSI stated that master promissory note would be sent to me.

I spoke with XXXX XXXX from ACSI on XX/XX/2018 around XXXX CST, in regards to my student loan. Because of the experiences with collection agencies in the past I hired help on my student loans. When we called to set up a payment plan the collector refused to discuss payment option with me and my hired help on the line. I do not understand why I am not able to have someone on the line to help me understand my options. I have the right to have someone on the line that is looking for my best interest only. XXXX asked me if I was able to pay the whole balance off which I can not. Then I gave XXXX permission to speak to my hired help since I do not know what options are available. When my hired help tried to intervene and speak on my behalf, he started to talk over her and his tone was harsh and voice was loud. My hired help tried to explain what she was doing for me to get the best option for my student loans. XXXX XXXX was very rude to her, I have never experience such bad customer service, he was yelling over her and wouldn't allow her to tell him what my plan was for my student loans. It was extremely unprofessional for someone to treat me and my hired help like that regarding student loans. The way he went off on us on the phone is unacceptable, I do not want to deal with people like that regarding my student loans. He made me feel uncomfortable about how I may be treated if she wasn't on the line. Is this how service is provided to people who have student loan debt? I have worked in customer service before, you never want to yell at someone over the phone and talk over them and be as rude as he was. It was the most unprofessional phone call I have experienced with my student loans. My hired help tried to get the information that was needed for me and we were not able to get that, after she tried to get a supervisor on the phone I was so disguised I wanted to just end the call. I hope the proper repercussion comes after listening to that call since they said they record all the calls.

Have been patient with this medical facility since XXXX. A change in doctors was done on XX/XX/XXXX due to unprofessional conduct from the previous physician. Trouble began with XXXX XXXX, with over billing, miscommunication, nurses giving out bad information and overruling my decisions on products and services. During my XXXX he allowed XXXX the procedures already discussed with me. She wanted to XXXX when the arrangements were for XXXX services only. My XXXX visit his office billed my insurance 3 times. From then on, after XXXX, they were Balance Billing me. Their fees did not match my insurance company Explanation of Benefits. This was very confusing and would have cost me much more than what I owed. On XX/XX/XXXX they billed me {$2300.00} for the XXXX performed XX/XX/XXXX. A final notice was received XX/XX/XXXX. During the whole process I got harassing calls XXXX harassing calls during XX/XX/XXXX. Since XX/XX/XXXX I have paid them {$3400.00}. Of the {$2300.00} only {$1700.00} remains. A check for {$300.00} was mailed XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX CSR XXXX pressured me by saying I needed to pay the {$2300.00} within 120 days for it would go to collections. I advised him I agree to pay what I owe but I was neither informed of this procedure and in no way understand why I 'm being pressured even-though XXXX XXXX XXXX has been receiving constant payments from me. They followed through on their threat. A letter from Automated Collection Services XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Tn XXXX ( XXXX, Ca XXXX was received XX/XX/XXXX. I informed XXXX that I thought collections procedures were designed for people who failed to pay for services rendered and expressed my dissatisfaction with their Robo calls and other tactics used in dealing with me. XXXX should be made to inform consumers of their 120 day payment in full billing guidelines. Either way, I would not have agreed to this and it seems unlawful.

Collection Company : XXXX Dates : XX/XX/XXXX - Present In XXXX I went to the hospital and my mom had submitted my insurance. From then I never heard anything from the hospital trying to contact me about the bill, nor did they tell me they had sent me to collections. The only way I found out I had been sent to collections is when I tried to buy a car and the dealership ran my credit and told me I had a collection company trying to collect a debt in my name. If I hadn't try to buy the car I would have never known. So, I called the collection company and set up a conference call with my uncle where we agreed on a payment plan of {$58.00} until my total EST amount of ( {$1200.00} ) was paid. I have since learned that I have actually been paying more interest than principle on the debt. They have been allowing me to pay $ XXXX while charging me {$97.00} ( 7 % ) /month. I have since called the hospital and paid a settlement fee of {$390.00} on an existing bill to stop the interest on my account in collections and instead pay {$1200.00} to the hospital. The problem I'm having was that when I contacted my bank to get my account statements, they tracked my first payment to XX/XX/XXXX. By doing the calculation of {$58.00} x 27 ( months ) = {$1500.00} I should have already paid off my debt. My bill is now estimated at {$1600.00} dollars with the collection company. It has gone up and I've paid over the amount owed. IM GOING TO PAY OFF MY {$24000.00} car before I pay off a {$1200.00} debt if they continue to do this to me. The hospital told me these people are '' nasty '' and the hardest to work with. I have been getting taken advantage of and really need help with them lying and saying there was no interest and not notifying me of being sent to collections.

My school loan went into collections a few years ago, XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) was the first to contact me in XXXX XXXX after my bankruptcy closed a few months earlier. I have since made arrangements with them for repayment. I was also contacted numerous times by mail, phone and even my work place from ACSI ( Automated Collection Services , Inc ) which started about 2 months after XXXX contacted me. ACSI had NO accurate, up to date information on me, I had requested multiple times by phone, in writing for information on the loan they claimed to be collecting on-I never received any return calls or emails with this information. In XXXX XXXX I received a notice for wage garnishment from ACSI, I filled out the forms asking for a hearing, mailed back to them certified return receipt XX/XX/XXXX, they received it, but I have not received ANY updates or contact from them since. About a week after I sent the garnishment forms back a NEW collection agency-XXXX sent me a letter claiming to be collecting on the same exact loan as ACSI and threatening to take my federal tax return-again NO confirmation of the loan information. Both ACSI and Performant claim it is from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( I consolidated my loans with them after completing 1 year in school ) In contacting XXXX XXXX XXXX it was brought to my attention that ONLY XXXX handles the collections for XXXX XXXX XXXX. My Federal return for filing year XXXX has been confiscated with no advanced notice of this happening. I have not heard from ACSI or XXXX regarding any collections processes since XXXX, I have never received any confirming information on the loan they claim to be collecting on, the amount they claim I owe is equal to 5 years in school ... I went into a certificate program which was 1 year.

In XX/XX/ I made a payment arrangement for {$55.00} after telling the representative at ACSI ( XXXX ) I could not pay at this time. While she tried to be helpful we came to an agreement that was for that amount and to call back in XXXX to continue that arrangement. The story changed in XXXX when I spoke to her and I was told my account would be sold to another agency, that I could now only pay over {$100.00} because I had agreed to pay the remaining large amount. That amount being over {$500.00} for a cell phone issue that was not even supposed to be reported to them yet. I already know that collections tell you things to get the money but I was so misinformed about the hardship ending in XXXX in the way she relayed the story. I promptly returned that call assuming we would continue that said {$55.00}, During covid and hardship troubles I was NOT told to my remembrance that the hardship was ONLY for 3 months! This was very troubling to now hear this. As her and her supervisor did not offer that option they were adamant they mentioned I could not have another hardship and they would not even look into it. It took me so much time to even get her supervisor as she aggressively would not transfer me. They both lacked empathy, used very aggressive voices and continuously spoke over me repeating the same price they now said I needed to pay. While I truly want to make payments I was baffled by their aggression over my account! They were far from kind. I was then told they were reporting me to the credit bureau and they would write refusal to PAY! This was a horrendous experience and I was so happy with my budget to get the arrangement.

I also contacted VA to verify this was accurate and indeed it was. Additionally I told the companies that had ambulance bills, that some of the hospital bills had been paid for further proof that he should not have any medical debt. I explained what I was told and that they had 6 years to file the claims and gave the persons phone number extension and permission to speak to the VA to resolve the issue and the companies that bought this alleged and unverified debt and after contacting the VA contact and not one made any effort to resolve the issue. Every time I have called all they want to know is if I will be paying with Visa or master card and when given the information to have the issue resolved if in fact it could be proved to even be my debt. I want the bills removed from my credit because I have made multiple efforts to try to resolve this issue and do not believe the debt is mine because I have had 100 percent medical coverage for decades. I should not be penalized for someone's inability to file insurance claims or debtors who can not prove debt and also will not do what is needed to resolve alleged debt. Since they made no effort to contact the VA I have no doubt the debt is not mine.

On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I paid a debt owed to my previous apartment complex because my current leasing company would not rent to me until the debt had been satisfied in full. It was somewhere around {$1800.00}. I do n't remember the exact amount. I paid via money order which I do not have a copy of as this was years ago and I did n't think that I would need it. I am currently looking to move as my lease is up and I saw the same debt had been sent to collections. As stated, I do not have a receipt but I do have e-mail correspondence between my current leasing company and I from XXXX XXXX when this debt was satisfied that states they could not rent to me until they received verification from my old apartment complex that the debt was paid in full. I also have the e-mails stating that they received that verification and that my application had since been approved. The debt collector that I am dealing with is refusing to take this off of my credit report unless I have an actual receipt. There is no way that I can re-generate a receipt that I no longer have and they are stating that they refuse to accept anything else to show the debt has been satisfied. I am a single mother with a XXXX year old child and no one will rent to me with this being on my credit report and I absolutely refuse to pay it again. Can you please help? I was advised by an Attorney that they must accept other forms of correspondence. Thank you.

I didn't receive written notification about the debt. The collection agency have failed to positively verify these accounts and it has hurt my ability to obtain credit. Under the FCRA, unverified accounts must be removed and if you are unable to provide me a copy of verifiable proof, you must remove the accounts listed above. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 XXXX a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), the collection agency are required by federal law to verify - through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract - any and all accounts you post on a credit report. Otherwise, anyone paying for your reporting services could fax, mail or email in a fraudulent account. The collection agency responded with a letter and a bill for account number XXXX ( see the attachment ). The collection agency did not provide any documentation for account number XXXX but listed the account on my credit reports. The date opened on the account is also incorrect. I have disputed this debt with XXXX and XXXX and the debt was verified as accurate. They refuse to remove the debt. The credit bureaus informed me to contact the data furnisher for proof of the written contracts.

This is a formal complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX located in XXXX, TN. This company has repeatedly violated my consumer rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act as well as the Fair Credit Billing Act and has caused me much unnecessary financial AND mental distress. For starters, they're reporting an erroneous & unverifiable account on my credit report and not to mention an account in which I've asked for proof of claim and in which they have not been able to provide, per the FCRA & FCBA. Despite my efforts to resolve this unfortunate nightmare for several months now, XXXX XXXX XXXX has completely ignored my communications and legal submissions to remove this inaccurate information from my credit report. I am well aware of several other complaints filed against this company for their illegal and unethical business practices. Yet, somehow, this company is still in business. This company 's unprofessional & negligent behavior has caused lots of serious harm, not only to my ability to establish credit & good interest rates, but also to my character as a Professional and as an individual. Please help me, and the many other consumers just like me, to put a stop to the operation of these unethical & immoral business practices immediately. I sincerely appreciate your time and assistance in this matter and hope to hear from you very soon.

On the last week of XXXX, I received a call from Automated Collection Services , Inc. regarding an alleged balance with XXXX Hospital. The lady was talking nonstop about the balance and how I need to pay over the phone asap. As I tried to tell her that I haven't received the bill because I am out of the country, she began talking over me, making sarcastic comments on how come I didn't receive the bill, etc. At which point, I had to raise my voice so I can advise her once more that I am out of the country. I gave her my email to email me the bill, which she said she would that week. Through the call, her harassing tone was annoying. A week passed with no email, and on XX/XX/XXXX, another rude and ill-mannered female called and asked me to pay again, while she too was harassing me about the bill. Again, I had to raise my voice so she can finally hear that I haven't received the email. In fact, I told her to forward me that email ( since according to her was sent to me ) while we were on the phone, and instead, she continued to harass and finally, she hung up the phone. I called back and spoke to her manager who apologized, however, I do not appreciate being harassed like this.

ACSI reported an alleged account owed by me to XXXX formally known as XXXX. My first knowledge of this debt was via email that was sent by ACSI. I never provided my email address to ACSI or gave permission for ACSI to email me. Because I am victim of fraud, I responded asking for the original debt validation that was never sent via mail as stated in their attempt to collect this alleged debt sent via email. ACSI ignored my email replies and continued emailing scripted responses and harassing me via telephone. ACSI has now re-aged this account that was originally reported to the credit bureaus XXXX and XXXX with the original date of XX/XX/XXXX ( opening date of XX/XX/XXXX ) by closing the original debt collection account as of XX/XX/XXXX and re-inserting it under a different name ACSIXXXX which a new open date of XX/XX/XXXX. This is a violation of the FCRA and my rights as a consumer. My credit report has been ruined which is causing hardship for me and my family. I will upload my police report and email exchanges with this company. I have also filed a complaint with the XXXX XXXX XXXX and the state attorney 's office.

I have paid {$73000.00} to XXXX through ACSI and this student loan payment ( and related wage garnishment ) should be complete. However, XXXX and ACSI has added arbitrary fees and charges throughout the course of my multiple complaints ( CFPB and Dept. of Education ). ACSI has misrepresented the amount and related charges only to profit by misleading information about my student loans. The amount of additional charges has not only doubled related the already paid {$73000.00}, but on XX/XX/XXXX ACSI sent a second order to garnish wages for an unknown new amount of {$16000.00}. ACSI has lost paperwork, misapplied payments, added surprise late fees and also ignored the delayed processing of payments from the original lender XXXX. The original Doc ID - XXXX payments were completed in XX/XX/XXXX with a final payment of {$920.00}. And then a year later, an unknown additional amount was filed with my employer with no supporting evidence. I believe ACSI is attempting fraud related to the new Doc ID - XXXX as I have already paid off my student loan. This is a new complaint that correlates to an older complaint XXXX.

I am writing to dispute the following account with Automated Collection Services , Inc. ( ACSI ) ( Account number : XXXX ). This has been an ongoing issue. Years back, the original creditor had confirmed that this debt does not belong to me, and removed the account from my credit report. I am not sure what happened, but later on when they sold the account, it popped back up on my credit report. I am assuming that the original creditor did not disassociate my personal information with someone that had the same name as I do, or whatever the case was. This account does not belong to me! Please see the attached document, which is a letter that I wrote to the company, as well as my XXXX credit report. It has been significantly more 30 days since I began my dispute with XXXX, and they have not updated the dispute status. It still reflects " account information disputed by customer ''. To this day, I do not see any resolution comments. Furthermore, I also have no idea why this item is reporting as an " open account '' when it is a collection! Please have ACSI remove this account immediately, and permanently.

She called me twice over a debt where the most recent payment was exactly 20 days prior. ( Paid XX/XX/XXXX, called by this representative on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. ) This is outside the 30 day guideline. Furthermore she was rude in her tone to me and stated that ASCI has not " heard from me since XXXX. '' ( This is on XX/XX/XXXX ). I told her that yes, that made perfect sense ; because I paid them in XXXX and now it's XXXX. But she seemed unable or unwilling to acknowledge that my payments have been completely on time. I am disgusted by being targeted and spoken to as someone who is delinquent when I am not by a representative for a company who I have paid on time.

Dear Sir/Madam : I continuously receive threatening letters of garnishment from ACSI - XXXX although I provided them with sufficient documentation that my average monthly debt exceeds my disposable income. Since I did not provide receipts for Food, Clothing, and Misc., they credited me {$120.00} per month. I am a family of XXXX. It is unreasonable to think a family of XXXX could survive off of {$120.00} per month for food, clothing, and misc. items. Today, I provided them with receipts for the month of XXXX and asked that they reconsider their decision. I also made an offer for a payment plan of {$50.00} per month. Having XXXX dependents, It would be extreme financial hardship to have 15 % of my pay garnished. Thank you for taking the time to look into this matter.

ACSI is reporting incorrect information about me to all 3 credit bureaus, as of XX/2017. On XXXX XXXX,2017 ACSI sends me a letter indicating I owe money for a student loan the following day I replied that I do not any 'student loan ' because a ) I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX b ) I have not gone to school since XXXX grade, c ) I am completely/fully retired. But they still reported me to the credit bureaus prior to contacting me first which is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Subsequent to their illegal reporting my credit score went from a XXXX fico score to a XXXX fico score and I am currently buying a house which will directly affect my interest rate. What ACSI is illegal and they need to be hold accountable.

The company is ACSI. They are continuing to robo-call my cell phone after I've asked them to remove my number from their autodialer. I am willing to receive a call from a human being there if they wish to discuss whatever debt they're calling about, but the TCPA is rather clear on robo-calls to cellphones. I called them back and recorded it with their knowledge, in which I informed them of the law in this case and asked for my number to be removed from their autodialer. Then, I posted a redacted version of the call ( excluding my number and their company name with brownian noise ) on my XXXX profile here : https : XXXX I also have a non-redacted mp3 of this call, if there is a place where you would like it sent.

I have verified with XXXX 's customer service that the account in question is not in my name nor did I cosign for it. I've asked them to show me an agreement in which XXXX XXXX authorizes them to collect on this alleged debt and I've also asked them the show an agreement with XXXX XXXX that bears my signature. They've not been able to provide me with either. They can't because I've never had an account with XXXX XXXX. This company is beyond horrible. ACSI is sending solicitations directly to my employer ( see attached ) with predatory and misrepresented statements about a treasury offset and the need to contact the company for a rehabilitation program. I am already being collected upon through garnishment in which the company and student loan provider ( XXXX ) have garnished 15 % of my paycheck for the last 2 1/2 years. They also attempt to collect a consent in the correspondence to provide " express consent '' to contact me personally after a cease and desist has already been requested. I reached out to Automated Collection Services over 60 days ago via certified USPS letter ( I attached a copy in the CFPB document portal showing when they received my complaint ).
