In my previous complaint, the response I received is as follows, " We have to respond to your request for validation of your account. XXXX did provide that and the information that was sent out is all that is necessary to validate that it is your account and it is still owing. We did respond back to you when you were requesting a settlement on this account as XXXX does not settle out their accounts. You then sent another dispute form in which we did respond back to you on XX/XX/21 that we indicated we have already provided you with validation of the account. You then again sent another dispute form in which we did not respond to you as we stated in the last letter we sent you back on XX/XX/21 that we would not respond to any more dispute letters. I have verified again today that you still owe on this account. You can call us at XXXX and we would be happy to work with you on this. Your account is marked as disputed. '' This is a joke. There is a huge different between debt VERIFICATION and debt VALIDATION. I asked for the following information more than 4 times and never once received any of it : Agreement with the creditor that authorizes AAMS to collect this alleged debt The agreement bearing my signature that I have agreed to assume the debt Valid copies of the debt agreement stating the amount of the debt and interest charges Proof that the Statute of Limitations has not expired Complete payment history on the account along with an accounting of all additional charges being assessed Show me that AAMS are licensed to collect in my state ; and AAMS license numbers and registered agent Proof of oral and written demands made. The ONLY thing I received was a bill that had personal medical information on it. This is a violation of HIPAA. Then I received a letter than they refuse to respond to any more letters. This is not professional at all.

I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX Veteran that is XXXX and XXXX. I had a medical incident and had to go to XXXX Hospital for treatment. They improperly registered me as a self pay patient. Instead of submitting the visit to VA. I found out that this was in collections when we went to by a property. I did try and negotiate a settlement with AAMS 2 years ago. AAMS told me that the was a medical bill from XXXX Hospital and the date of the visit. My wife and myself figured out what the situation was and contacted XXXX at XXXX Hospital, he is the person that handles these item. After several attempts I was able to talk to XXXX via phone, he informed me that it was an ER Visit and that they had me as Self Pay this is why it is in collections. I informed him that it should have been through VA and not self pay. XXXX informed me he would see what he could do. That was 4-5 months ago and he is not been returning my phone calls that I leave left a message for him trying to get a Status. This bill is still on my credit report and now say it is due to come off in about two years. This is not acceptable! XXXX Hospital is the one that made the mistake and should correct it. Buy not submitting this bill to VA they are trying to receive more money though self pay than they would though VA, as VA only pays the same rate as midi-care / midi-aid.

On XX/XX/XXXX.. I received an alert from the major credit bureau alerting me that a collection account was added to my credit file. Which resulting my FICO score to drop. I looked at my report it was AAMS who added an old debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX had placed a {$460.00} medical debt on all 3 majors credit bureau since XX/XX/XXXX. The account fell off on all my my report late XX/XX/XXXX. I was very surprise that the account was sold to AAMS who never notified me of this old account they acquired from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have 2 medical account with AAMS which I have been paying for more than 4 years {$50.00} every months. On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX I received a call from XXXX at AAMS who told me over the phone that a letter they mailed to me came back with an address change. I told him yes, indeed I moved. I gave XXXX my new address. XXXX never discussed of this old account that AAMS purchased with XXXX XXXX XXXX. As a matter of fact, he confirmed that I only had 2 accounts with them {$310.00}. and a {$2300.00} account as of XX/XX/XXXX. he never mentioned of this old account they purchased in XX/XX/XXXX. I never received any letter of this old debt {$460.00} for medical visit I did at XXXX in XXXX. I had to pay this debt right away because of the house closing i have in 2 weeks. I felt violated

XX/XX/2017 I received an alert that these items had been added to my credit report so I called XXXX to find out what it was so they gave me the info. So I called AAMS to find out what it was about they told me they purchased a bill so now I owe them I informed them that this wasn't the right information and I need validation of the debt by mail they said they had mailed me the bill got returned each time. I never got anything so I disputed with all 3 credit bureaus first they said it was verified then I asked to see the method of verification with XXXX a supervisor let me call on 3 way to the company but no matter what I do or how I do it XXXX will not remove it I had sent letters They said they are not going to investigate again I sent them the statement of procedures that was said done and cost of each and they updated it to a because they saw that all together it didn't equal the amount of the first charge they had 3 Mark 's against me so the made it 1 deleted 2 because it was added with the 1sti sent my first letter XXXX, sent my 2nd letter XX/XX/XXXX 3rd letter XX/XX/XXXX, my aught letter was when they told me they wasn't going to investigate it again

In XX/XX/XXXX, I checked my credit report and noticed a collection account from Automated Accounts Management Systems ( AAMS ). I sent a validation request on XX/XX/XXXX. I received a response from AAMS dated XX/XX/XXXX. I noticed that this company had my all of medical information from XXXX XXXX XXXX and that is what they sent me. I was never given any validation that had my signature on it that allowed them to collect. At that time I was beginning to do research on HIPAA violations and realized that this is a violation of my HIPAA. AAMS should not have this protected information without my consent. I sent a letter requesting that this information be immediately removed as this is all a HIPAA violation. I received a response from AAMS that they had sent verification information back in XX/XX/XXXX and that they would not respond to any more requests. I was flabbergasted. They are not allowed to have any of my medical information. I send another certified letter dated XX/XX/XXXX ( Sent on XX/XX/XXXX ) and they received the letter XX/XX/XXXX. I have not received any response.

The account number listed on my credit report is XXXX . I was unaware of this debt before it appeared on my credit report. Once I saw the debt I promptly paid the debt. As this is medical debt, I should have been notified and been given time to pay the debt. Per the FCRA I have the right to dispute this debt directly with the company that has reported the debt. I was unable to get anywhere during phone conversations and was told I must dispute this debt with the National Credit Reporting Agencies. While I can dispute with the NCRAs, I should be able to dispute the debt directly with the company reporting the debt. Please remove this collections account from my credit report. There were several things wrong with how this account was handled and how little responsibility the company the debt was originally owed to took. Even if the debt is sent to a different company the original lender is still responsible for accurate reporting.

I have been contacted numerous times by a company I have never done business with. This company is in no way located or associated with the state of Michigan and I have never resided outside of this state. I have asked them numerous time via phone to VALIDATE the debt they say they have on file for me. They have not sent VALIDATION to me as to why they are contacting me regarding a debt I do not owe to them. I have NEVER signed or agreed to any contracts with this company and I don't know why they think they have any rights to continue to say I do or to contact me at all. They have placed this said debt on my credit reports without first sending me written proper validation or written warning. This is a violation of HIPPA as well as the FCR act and I have rights to take this further. I want them to decease contact with me immediately and them to remove this NEGATIVE mark from all of my credit report ASAP.

I had a mammogram done that was paid for with a grant from XXXX common fund. Then they called me in for a second mammogram because I had aXX/XX/XXXX I was assured this would be paid for through the Grand as well. A few years later I received notice from aams that I had a debt with them. I had never received a bill and did not know I had a bill that went to collection but they told me there was nothing I could do at this point except pay it. So I made payment arrangements and I've been paying them monthly straight from my checking account every month without a missed payment. They show I am late every month on my payment to them. However I have not missed one payment or been late since I found out about this debt. I don't feel this is right as I have been making the payments as agreed every month. This is affecting my credit and making it impossible for me to rebuild my credit so I can buy a house.

I'm disputing several debts with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They actually sent this account to a collection agency. Which is AAMS LLC. I disputed this debt recently with AAMS. I then received itemized bills from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX saying address unknown. I informed the collection agency in the last complaint that I've been a victim of identity theft and they refused to remove this negative information from my credit report. If these charges were in fact incurred by me, why is the address unknown? No other information was given and why didn't they bill my insurance? XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have disputed a medical collection multiple times due to inaccuracies. I just now received mail from the debt collection agency that proves they obtained my protected health information. This company has my specific lab tests I had done, as well as my symptoms and the treatments I received. I never consented for the hospital to share any of that info and the debt collector AAMS shares this with other entities. I have tried another dispute with added documentation that the dates of this debt are wrong and that the only identifying thing from the collection agency about me, were my symptoms and treatments and tests. Cant reach a real person at XXXX. I want this fraudulent and invasive account removed from my credit report immediately. I have already filed a HIPAA complaint against the medical provider involved.

debt collection agency Automated Accounts Management Services acquired my protected healthcare information, ( lab work performed, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment ) from Hospital XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX. I never asked for my PHI to be shared with this fraudulent collection agency. I have filed numerous disputes and complaints. The fraudulent debt in question was removed from all 3 credit reports. Then 2 weeks later, XXXX allows this company to turn around and re-report this debt that I'm not liable for. I have filed HIPAA complaints against the hospital and would like to see this company get fined for their disgusting business practices. They have shared my PHI with all the credit bureaus and I am in the process of seeking legal counsel.

The debt in question being sought after by AAMS was illegally obtained without my written consent. This company got a hold of my protected health information which is a violation of HIPAA. They have my XXXX XXXX that I had done, they also have the symptoms I was experiencing at time of treatment and the treatment I had done. I never gave the hospital permission to share this information with anyone. The company that is attempting to collect on this debt has also released my private health information to the credit bureaus which I also did not give permission for. I sent a letter to AAMs to validate the debts on my credit report and when I asked for proof that they own the debt or that the Hospital has placed them in charge of collecting the debt they refused to send me the information. I inform them I never received the original validation letter that they claim that they sent me years ago. They are still refusing to send me that copy of a validation letter I am demanding a copy of that validation letter stating that they are the original creditors or are in charge of the debt from the original creditor.
