My husband and I purchased and financed a car from this establishment had problems with them from a start but eventually moved away and continued making our payments ON TIME and never contacted them again. My husband unfortunately got into an accident and was car-less for 4 months. Was a total loss. We called AutoBank Financial a week before new years and a day or 2 before XXXX to ask if they got the paycheck from our insurance for pay off and we asked them if it cover the full amount and they said yes. On XX/XX/XXXX i found out AutoBank Closed our account under FALSE pretenses making both our credits go down significantly, saying that we still owe money towards that car and have not paid. We called them MANY times asking why they told us it was paid off when it wasnt and asked for receipts of what was paid and the remaining amount and they kept giving us the run around. Apparently no one in that place knows anything because we spoke to manager and customer service and no one knows how to answer our questions. Truly unprofessional.
