XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, OK XXXX Dear Finance Manager, I first went to the XXXX XXXX XXXX lot on Sunday the XX/XX/XXXX to look at three XXXX XXXX XXXX Trucks. Of course, the lot was closed. I took notes on the vehicles I was interested in ; 1 ) a XXXX XXXX XXXX with some hale damage, scratches and 67000 milages on the OD ; 2 ) a XXXX XXXX and 3 ) a XXXX XXXX. The next day, the XXXX holiday, Monday XX/XX/XXXX ; I went back to the XXXX XXXX XXXX lot @ the corner of XXXX & XXXX XXXX XXXX. It was approximately XXXX XXXX in the afternoon when I entered the dealership and immediately saw a sales rep. sitting in a cubical situated directly in the view of the door I came in. He turned out to be XXXX XXXX XXXX, Sales Associate. I introduced myself and went right into telling him what I was interested in. We went out to the lot and we looked at the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX truck. He told me it had 67K miles on it and the sale price was {$21000.00}. I responded with wow, thats a pretty high price for a used vehicle. I said something about the hale damage, scratches and last but not least the 67K mileage and that should bring the price down to where I could have payments from {$200.00} to no more than {$250.00} per mo. and still be able to pay full coverage insurance. At first, I was going to hold on to my car because it is paid off and only had 93K miles on it and I didnt think I would need it as a down payment to get into the 5 year old used XXXX XXXX. At the time a t.v. commercial was running for XXXX advertising that you could get in with a down payment as low as {$200.00} to {$250.00}. So I let XXXX know that I was willing to use my car as a down to get into the truck. My XXXX XXXX value was some where around {$4000.00} to {$4500.00}. I told him that I would be willing to pay as much as {$14000.00} for the truck. So, he told me to give him my license, title and proof of my income. He told me while he worked on my deal to go ahead and test drive some other cars just in case they might not come down off the price. So, I asked him if he had any XXXX XXXX on the lot because that is the car that I owned. XXXX pointed out to me a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with 83K miles, priced at about {$12000.00}. It looked good by sight. So we went inside to get started and he asked me if I wanted to test drive the XXXX. I replied yes. He went to go get the keys to get me test driving. Mean while, he came back and asked me if I had my proof of income and Title with me. I told him I would need to go to the house and get it. We initialed some paper work and he went to go see if the car was ready for test driving. When he came back he said there was something wrong with the battery and he had to charge it cause it had been sitting for so long. I told him I would go ahead to the house and get my title and proof of XXXX income. So Im about to drive out of the lot when he runs up to the car and ask me if I wanted to take the XXXX XXXX and test drive it to the house and back. I told him, no, thats alright, Ill be right back in a few. He said he would take his lunch break, then. At that point it was about 15 minutes after XXXX XXXX in the afternoon. When I got back XXXX was with another customer, a young female. I sat outside of his office space for a good while. When one of the other sales associates passed I asked him if there was a vending machine where I could buy a soft drink. He replied no but Ill get you one and proceeded to ask me what I wanted out of a cup of water, a XXXX XXXX or a XXXX? I told him a XXXX XXXX. I sat there for what must have been another thirty minutes when XXXX finally finished with his customer. I gave him my paper work, ( Title and XXXX proof of income ). He had me to initial several pieces of paperwork. I asked him what the paperwork was for, he replied, he said it was to allow me to test drive some of the vehicles ; then he disappeared for a few more minutes going in and out of the showroom area to outdoors. He came back a couple of times to tell me the car was still not ready to test drive and was still charging. When I was about to tell him to just forget it, he said ok its ready. So I took it out for a test drive. I could immediately tell the car was faulty in the engine because there was no power when I hit the gas pedal. I drove north on XXXX XXXX XXXX to the next lighted intersection and turned around. I told XXXX XXXX that the car was faulty and what I experience. He shook his head as if he knew what I was talking about. I asked him if he had talked to the finance office about what I said about my car as a trade in to get into the truck. He replied, Im working on it. So, we went back inside and I sat in his office space for about thirty more minutes when he came in and said why dont I try out something else in my price range. He went on to point out a small gray vehicle with a hatch back and only 40K miles. I told him in the beginning that I needed the truck or the XXXX which has a hatch back for my XXXX work, ( large frame pay-load about 36 X 36 ). So, I took the XXXX XXXX out for a test drive and it handled a lot better than the XXXX XXXX XXXX w/ 83K miles. When I got back I, again, asked XXXX XXXX about the deal I wanted on the truck he said Im working on it. Some more time passed. He finally came back and told me to go ahead and start cleaning my car out. I asked about the truck he again said working on it. Finally, one of the other sales associates came out to the car where I was taking the things out of my car and loading them onto the back of the XXXX. He asked me if I had signed my paper work and I said yes, we did that earlier in the afternoon. So, he took my key to my car and not thing I told him I would have to go home to get my spare. So I finished and went home. It was about XXXX XXXX in the evening when I left the dealership. When I went into my front door I noticed I had a message from XXXX on my phone saying I should come back ; we needed to finish the paper work. I grabbed my spare key and went back. I got home, again, the evening of XX/XX/XXXX and did some research and was shocked. I, immediately, called XXXX XXXX to let him know that the deal was not satisfactory, legal and was wrong and to call it off. I told him that the price he gave me for the XXXX was way over priced and did not include my cars value as a trade-in. He told me that the car was selling at $ XXXX and with my trade-in, would have put it, at least, about $ XXXX. XXXX XXXX told me, after I called him before he left at XXXX XXXX, on the evening of XX/XX/XXXX, that it was out of his hands. He told me, oh yea, they gave me {$2000.00} for your trade in. I came back to the dealership at around XXXX XXXX and spoke to one of the sales reps., who was still there, where I saw XXXX XXXX going in and out of his office. I thought he was the finance agent. He said he wasnt and I should come back in the morning to talk with the finance dept. On XX/XX/XXXX I, XXXX XXXX XXXX, was instructed to contact the XXXX financing department, by XXXX, about seeing if I could get some help in re-writing the alarm filled sale, conducted by him, made correct in the infancy of the, supposed, negotiations. He called a number ; it was ringing when he left me in his office, by myself, to discuss the deal, however, the answering machine came on and revealed that the office was closed for the day. I left his office to look for him. I found him sitting in a lounge. I told him he would need to call and get a finance officer on the phone. He kept saying I would have to do it. I insisted he call. He tried and got the same response. Finally, one of the other sales reps. hollered in at him to try a certain extension. The finance supervisor came on, ( XXXX ) and told me everything is final. She did not want to hear that I never had a chance to speak with someone in finance about using my car as a trade-in and that I never saw or signed my titled over to XXXX. That was a total misrepresentation of my free and clear title and constitutes fraud. Bottom line is when XXXX XXXX got his hands on my Title he immediately went to another part of the dealership and proceeded to sale my car for what he could get for it and pocket the money. After I signed the last paper he told me, we just, straight up, traded titles across the board. I immediately told him, that is not correct. I made a final attempt to speak with the manager in finance XX/XX/XXXX at about XXXX in the afternoon. I have not heard from anyone else at XXXX on this subject. Sincerely yours, XXXX XXXX XXXX

I bought a car from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had made my payments on time, they were about one week ahead of due date. I had paid them ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) I paid them {$270.00} per-month for a total of 13 payments on the car. In total {$3800.00} They added in house insurance which cost {$130.00} per month with a total of {$1700.00} they were making me pay despite the fact I had XXXX insurance, full coverage paying a monthly payment of {$110.00}. They kept telling me I did not have Insurance, I kept on having XXXX send them confirmation of Insurance. They still denied it and kept on charging me anyway. Well, then while I was in the VA Hospital I had parked my car in front of my apartment complex. When released from Hospital the car was gone I filed a Police Report with Oklahoma XXXX Police. Police report number XXXX date of XX/XX/17 XXXX XXXX. Then I called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I told them that the car had been stolen while I was in The Hospital VA. I was taping the phone calls as well, I told them I was taping the call to some young lady, she stated that was ok. I next asked her what to do. She told me not to worry about any thing that the two Insurance company 's would work out the problem depending on the car being found. She stated they would cover all cost, if they needed anything they would call me if the car was found they call me on that day. Well, me and my family started looking for the car, XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX year of car Vin XXXX Then on the date of XX/XX/2017 XXXX am we found the car and took it to my family 's house. I left it with a family member and told him not to drive it any where and the iinsurance company was sending out clame adjuster on the following week. Well, I went back into the Hospital, I had double XXXX, While I again was in the Hospital my cousin had took off with the car and had moved out of the house he was staying in.. Again her I sat wondering what to do, after 24 hours of looking for the car I reported to Oklahoma XXXX Police Report number XXXX date XX/XX/2017. They charged him with Embezzlement and another charge. I again in formed the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They told me the same thing they would work it out between both insurance company 's and that they would pick up all cost. Well, at this point I was not getting any where with replacement or a loner car. I had to have a car to go back and forth to the VA for major medical problems and appointments. So I finally got another car. I just kept on doing my thing. I had not heard from either of the insurance company 's or the finance company. So many months latter I applied for credit and was turned down. So after looking in to it I found that XXXX XXXX XXXX had reported to the major credit reporting agency that the car was repossession and {$8000.00} owed. That the account was closed. This was put on my report not by just one company but two, So I started checking into this problem, I requested a copy of the contract and all other documents. They sent me part of the contract, parts were missing. they sent me one copy of a letter for sale at private auctions. The address it was mailed to was not my address. the write address was on front of contract, I don't know where the address got changed I did not change it. Well, besides the address change they never informed me the car was found. they never sent me what the car was sold for or when., my phone number has not changed they did not call. I don't know where the personal property gone to, I've sent them letter after letter to remove thid injustice off my credit report that this is a improper repossession. I've written them with no response to any thing I've tried.. I found out from XXXX that they tried to work things out and never got any help from the finance company. so they closed the case. I'm a old vet, and have major medical problems with out having to deal with these kind of people whom don't care. I sure hope I can get some help from you.

XXXX I purchased a vehicle from XXXX XXXX XXXX and In house finance co Auto Advantage Finance , LLC. When I purchased the car from XXXX XXXX the same day I got the car 20 min later I had to call them to tow it off the highway because it had stopped. Over one years time I had to have them tow it in due to just stopping on us while driving 5 times ( about once a month ). Their repair department head manager advised me if has any problem again will replace car. It had to go again they did not honor the replacement. I advise ECA that the vehicle was unsafe to drive, it was a danger to my family with husband and children and I refuse to drive unsafe car to endanger our lives. They told me to do voluntary return, which I had no choice but to do. I contacted them for 6 months to see what happens now they later filed a judgement a year later in XXXX and never would let me know when a court date was so that I could appear. I have been paying over XXXX years on a XXXX principle I have paid {$8700.00} and now have increased the interest to this every year and increasing it is now {$30000.00} they say I still owe them with interest continuing to be added. I feel this company and the XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX department has added so much interest and things to this that it will never be paid off. When I should not owe any way. I was not allowed to go to court to submit my side of this case. I checked with XXXX every week to get a date I was only told I did not have to show up and refused to give me a court date to appear. I looked on XXXX every day to see if filed to get a date. I received a summons i filed a dispute to the court and they was to file a default judgement on it to get a court date never did. There was a letter sent to them from XXXX XXXX district judge at OK count demanding with in 7 days for them to file a default judgement if this is owed so a court date can be set. They did not respond, until a year later they filed XXXX. I watched for a year never seen a date then all of a sudden I receive notice of a garnishment. Now 8 years later i get a increase every year for this so has tripled in interest and fees.

I had bought a vehicle from Express Credit Auto in XXXX. When we signed the contract, the salesman put a stack of papers in front of me and had me sign one after another without letting me read them. He said it was n't necessary because it was all standard paper work. I asked him if the Vehicle had a cutoff device, he said that they no longer used those devises. In 2014 I went through several months where I was having problems paying. Express credit said that they would put the payments to the end of the contract. Later I was at my brothers house and when I tried to leave the van would not start. I was 3 days late on the payment. when I called them they said I would have to make the payment plus a cutoff fee or they would n't turn on the van. That 's when I found out that the van had a GPS Tracker with a cutoff switch and that they had lied about the cutoff switch. I also found out that they could track every place that I went. They agreed to turn on the van but it would immediately disable if I made another stop. I was forced to go directly to the dealership and make the payment. I consider this a form of soft repo. Later I went and got a ledger of payments from them and on reading the ledger, I found out that they had closed the original contract that I signed and refinanced the vehicle without my knowledge or consent. They also showed on the ledger that they had returned {$6700.00} dollars to me during the refinance. I never received this money or saw a check made to me. They also altered they contract by adding a personal protection insurance on the vehicle in the amount of {$2300.00} without my consent which made my payments go up. I am now in the process of fighting them because they committed fraud by closing out the contract, refinancing, and altering the contract to their benefit. Also by telling me that the vehicle did not have a cutoff device with GPS. I feel that by tracking my vehicle everywhere I went, constitutes an invasion of privacy.

Original Complaint XX/XX/XXXX XXXX I purchased a car from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. The loan was financed through Auto Advantage Finance. I have contacted the financing company several times over the phone. I have been to their private customer service center in person and spoke face to face with account mgmt supervisor. I have followed their instructions for reporting issues and getting resolution by making a complaint online with their customer service department. They continue to tell me to contact XXXX and XXXX to make a dispute. I have done that as well and they told me that there is nothing that can be done about disputing an account that they have not received from the financing company. It has been 10 months and I have not been able to get any resolution. The car ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) has been put in service 4 times in 5 months. My first issue was within a week of my purchase. The vehicle was leaking tons of water into the floorboard of the passenger side. This issue also cause the tracker for the vehicle to go bad and caused the vehicle to not start at random. The second time being serviced was for the rocker arm lifters on the right side of the motor. The 3rd time was one week or so after picking up the car the lifters on the left side of the motor started going bad and I had to return the car to service once again. Just a few days within picking up the car for the 3rd time my wife was driving the car and the car put its self in park while she was driving and the car immediately started leaking gas from the back side of the motor. This issue put the car out of service completely. This issue I feel like was caused by the technician who serviced the car. I feel that the repair was rushed and possibly a gas line linked to the motor was not completely fastened and came loose. I have been patient with the dealership and have been understanding until now. I have drawn the line. The car throwing its self in park due to this fuel line issue could have caused someone to be hurt if not killed. Luckily my wife had not made it to the highway before this happened. The car could have put its self in park while doing highway speed limits. The warranty department has no concern. XXXX XXXX, the head of warranty didn't care about the issue at all. After a few days and a second phone call he offered to have the car towed and looked at. 4 repairs in 5 months is unacceptable. I have made ALL of my payments on time. At this point I want to be able to walk away from the car without any strings attached and any negative hits on my credit.

I had an auto loan through auto advantage finance. after trying to get them to work with me do to me getting sick with COVID and behind on my payment they repossessed my car right before Christmas. it then took them until XX/XX/XXXX for me to receive the letter showing what my options were in order for me to get my car back. they are charging me {$6.00} a day on top of the {$250.00} repo fee for a total of {$14000.00} ( keep in mind the {$6.00} is continuing to accumulate each day they still have the vehicle.. so now by this time that i know what my options are I apply for refinancing through open roads lending. i got approved by them based off of what reflected on my credit report showing what the remaining loan amount was {$13000.00} ). after receiving the payoff amount from auto advantage finance I then get a letter saying that I was denied due to Loan value exceeds program requirements. so now i only have until the XXXX of XXXX to payoff the full amount in order to get my vehicle back and today is the XXXX. even if i apply for through another lender there isn't enough time to go through the process and be able to get my vehicle. along with this they also continue to send me emails trying to deduct my payment from my account every two weeks.

Auto Advantage Finance Group was notified by me in XXXX of XXXX that my auto loan had not been reported to the credit bureau. I talked to several people and the issue was not resolved, I was told and it says on their website that they would report my payments to the credit burea. On XX/XX/XXXX I emailed them concerning the same problem. I got an email right away stating that they had sent an update to the Credit Bureau on XX/XX/XXXX. I waited a few weeks and asked again if the problem had been solved due to the fact that it was not showing on my credit report. They emailed back and said that it would be the end of XXXX beginning of XXXX before it showed anything. Then they stated they could not do anything to help me, so I would have to do to it myself. I made phone calls and was told they had to report it, so I had no choice but to report them. I have been paying on this vehicle since XXXX of XXXX and have nothing to show for it.

XXXX Spoke to XXXX and let her know that I was wrongfully terminated and that I am receiving unemployment. I told her I was waiting to receive my card from unemployment. I ask for a payment date change and was told that I could not change my payment date due to unemployment is consider temporary. I explained to her that my unemployment was approved due to being wrongfully terminated and that it was guaranteed until I find another job. She then lets me know that my car will be disabled but of course they dont tell you when. I also explained that I would continue to be late unless payment dates were changed. I literally have a {$6500.00} balance remaining until I pay off my vehicle. It would be nice if they would have let me provide proof to show that this is why I am having trouble paying my payment. If my car is disabled it would be a first since getting my car in XXXX.

This company is using illegal collection practices. They claim I owe more than I do and attempted to repossess my vehicle after 22 days without a payment. They threaten to repossess if I do not pay whatever unreasonable amount they determine I owe. They refuse to provide me with detailed activity of my account and payoff amount. They claim that I will be sued or my property will be seized and even sent a man to my home with a large paper that resembled a legal document. They have added unauthorized interest, fees, and charges not listed in my contract. They call me repeatedly, almost daily, and cause undue stress on my family and I. They make it extremely difficult for me to pay on my account without paying additional fees or calling into the finance company.

I was trying hard to get a part time job and I got it. I started to work yesterday. I called them Auto Advantage was rude and unforgiving. I had a few debts to pay and want to work. I paid {$240.00} the first of this month. I knew they have a program to pay your payment in 2 pay period I called them yesterday and they told me what they wanted ona letter from the employer. It was done and emailed to them. Then this woman told me it wasnt good enough. She said I had to get permission to do that and I could not. I get paid twice a month and I was so happy I could pa this in my first pay Check. They said no and if I dont come up with XXXX XXXXXXXXsoon and quick. I will lose it I also could lose my job. Been making payments for a year never late! Have been over charged for insurance that they said would be correct since the first payment they asked for proof of insurance on the vehicle. I provided it to them and they still are charging me an fee extra saying I dont have insurance? Now I made a payment on XX/XX/18 for the amount of XXXX and they said they didnt receive a payment. I proved threw the bank, several faxes and emails that they took the payment out of my account. But they said they didnt get it so they shut my car off till I make anouther payment. My bank told me to file a complaint cause the clearly took the money. I have made all payments with the same card for a yr no problem. But now they say no way to trace payment.

On XX/XX/18 I was told by XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX that I could trade in my vehicle & only bring in {$300.00}. Since I have a loan with them anyway & excellent payment history, it would be no problem to trade in my car. Once i got to the dealership, I was told because I have an upcoming court date - they were unable to approve me. I never received a letter of denial of credit. After several emails asking about the letter, I finally received a letter on XX/XX/2018. Reason for denial was unsatisfactory background? How can a subprime lender get away without disclosing they pull your background report & deny a trade in - which I got from them.

I'm trying to get my payments reported I checked all credit reports it's been 90 days since I made my first payment I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to see how to report it they directed me to credit bureau and said to summit a dispute the only issue is you can't dispute something that is not on your credit report I want this issue resolved immediately I was lied too and the only reason I bought a vehicle is to help build credit can't do that with no reporting

My husband 's card was hacked and they got his entire paycheck. I contacted the finance company to attempt to defer a single payment. I was informed that there were no deferment options due to policy charges that were not passed on to the customer. They continuously change their policies and never inform customers about the changes. My loan is nearly paid off.
